We booked an appointment online which was great. They also accepted walk-in customers too while we were there. Plenty of stylists and no wait/short wait as far as I could see.They were all wearing masks, and social distancing except when they were cutting someones hair (social distancing would be impossible at that point 🤷‍♀️) My hubby got a haircut from Sam. Normal no fuss, no muss mens haircut. He showed him a picture and that was that. Sam was a friendly man and they had lovely conversation while he cut his hair. The store is clean and well kept. They accept credit cards and cash. I would recommend this place.

My hairdresser didn’t speak much English and none of my instructions were followed. I specifically mentioned the length for the sides and the top and I got ended with at least 1 inch shorter length compared to what I requested and it is uneven. My hair style is completely ruined. For the quality, the price was high $35 (excluding tip) for a simple normal length haircut without shampoo. Worst experience and a total rip off. I got fooled by the 4+ rating on Google. Please never go.

I am new to the area so I started exploring highly rated places nearby to get a haircut. The experience here was by far the best. The place itself looks much better than it does in the pictures on google maps and from the moment you walk in you are treated with the utmost professionalism. I was assigned to Vicky Do and she has done a fantastic job. She listened carefully to understand what I actually wanted and made sure to get me exactly the result I was looking for. Also from the way she handles the tools you can tell right away that she’s very experienced at her craft. Looking forward to coming back here again.

Went here for haircut looking at 4.3 rating (240 reviews). Place is clean and the receptionist scheduled the appointment quickly. Positives end here.I showed her clear pictures of how I needed the haircut. I also showed her the length of the hair I want to be cut in the front and told her the sides should be 2mm blended into 4mm.My hair was made very short in the front, I almost look bald. She said she will only do 2mm on the sides and will blend into 4mm using scissors which she not failed but made my hair look like a child with scissors played with it.WORST experience.

Best hair salon for mens in the Sunnyvale area. It is super clean and they are really courteous and adhere to all the precautions. Highly recommend!

Overpriced and they didnt do the hair color properly. The color came off in just a day. On top of it they charged $40 for just hair color and $35 for a normal haircut.

Hats off to all the precautions that they have taken during the time of Covid. They made sure the shop wasnt crowded and all employees had face shield, masks and new pair of gloves before starting.Tracy did a fantastic job and created the perfect style for me.

Haircut okay, but when I went to pay, Tina behind the counter asked if I had Venmo, I did not. I thought because of Covid they wanted to do touch free payments. So, asked if they accepted Apple Pay, they did not. She then asked if I had cash. So, clearly it had nothing to do with safety. I said all I had was a credit card. Tina behind the counter made a loud sigh and then clearly annoyed gave me the machine to pay via credit card. She rudely told me to figure it out for next time though as if my credit card wasnt giving them the money they wanted. I wont be giving them my money ever again. Who knew paying them was such a disservice to them?

Really botched my left side around the ear, leaving an unusual large gap above it. Not very symmetrical from left ear to right ear and both frantly have an unusual gap, though right side not as terrible. Should have been more careful about it.

Im very picky when it comes to barbers. I decided to find a new place to go, since my old one closed, and tried out this one since it has quite a few great reviews.I have to say this... I got the best haircut of my life here for a great price. Environment had an amazing ambience. The employees were all super friendly and courtesy. Place was packed when I went on an off day and time. My stylist Vicky was phenomenal. Told her what I wanted and how, she took that and went beyond. She was also very fast!Highly recommend this place if you want a good haircut.

Just been here today and I am certainly not happy with the outcome. It was my first time here as it is near my place. I was excited at first that they offer beard services on their menu and i took it together with my haircut. The haircut, shampoo and beard trim cost $45 as per their menu. Beard trim alone costs $20, and i foolishly took it that they know how to trim a beard, so i went ahead with them. I dont know what is wrong but they gave me such an amateur hair stylist. I gave her instructions which she followed to the max but definitely visible that she doesnt have the talent of a hair stylist. When i say talent of a hair stylist, they know what looks best on the client with minimal confirmations. This one who did the cut on me clearly does not have it and it seems she was very new. Why do they have to give me a novice hair stylist when i opt for multiple services?Another thing is beard trim. After the hair cut, she tried to ask me how to do the beard. I asked back first, have you ever done a beard trim before?, she nodded a NO... i mean why give me this person to do the beard when i asked for it? Their senior stylist (man) stepped in as they can see disappointment in me. He tried to do the beard trim but clearly, it was also novice. Not clean enough, doesnt made the edges perfectly, not shaving with blades to make the beard more defined. They only play with electric shavers. Clearly, not something they know.He tried to comfort me by fixing the hair as clearly it is still not right. They know that I am not so happy, so they tried to make it free. Though they thought this out, i left the payment on their table as i insisted on it. I dont want to leave the place with stinky thoughts and taking advantage of it, though i have the right. I told them during the haircut that i am going to another country by tomorrow but clearly messed me up.I tried going to another haircut place but couldnt fix anymore my hair because it is too short. I am totally angry and disappointed right now.The best that I can advice is to AVOID this place. Look elsewhere. Clearly not the place unless you want your image destroyed.

They can get pretty busy, so definitely book in advance. Monica usually does my hair, and shes great. Ive had other people do it too when she was away, and theyre all trustworthy and skilled. Clean facilities.

I had my hair cut by Kathy/Cathy (?). She did a wonderful job and was extremely precise. She takes her time with the cut instead of rushing through it like a lot of places. Cheapest price for a regular haircut for men is $25 (non buzzcut) but you can get one with shampoo and wash for $30. Overall the price is decent for the area and I will be coming back for sure

Monica always does an amazing job. She understood what I like and she delivers it every time. Also, having a shampoo after shaving is a plus. Jenny is the best about it. I definitely recommend this place

Used to be good value but now at $30 its not worth it. Made an appointment but still had to wait almost 30 mins after arriving on time. Haircut looked nothing like the picture I showed stylist. I was asked 3 times when paying how much I wanted to tip which felt aggressive. Not coming back.

If you are a man looking for a place to get regular reasonably priced haircuts, A+ is what youre looking for. They have online scheduling (through some third party site, but it does work), and theyre almost always running on-time. Ive been dozens of times and dont remember the last time I had to wait more than a few minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The vibe inside is also homey and the staff do their part to make sure youre comfortable.

Horrible experience!!!! The guy did not know what he was doing. He had no idea what a fade was. I am at home and everything is uneven. I ask him to line me up and he had no idea how to do it. Waste of my time and money. I can’t believe I paid for this haircut. He was trimming the top of my hair and he left the sides puffy. Worse experience ever I am pretty livid. There is one other guy that looks like he knows what he’s doing but he’s booked I’d try him but never the other guy. I will not return to this place again.

If you wanted a shampoo, it was, I think $30....If you do not mind the cost, then this is a perfect place.

Great haircuts for men at $25. This place has real appointment times as well. If I show up at 1030 for my appointment, then within 2 min I am getting my hair cut. Other places I would show up and wait for 15 - 20 min

Had a great haircut with Kathy before 5* haircut.I got an haircut with Ghinet today and it was really bad. Asked her to do sharp cut just what Kathy did. All she said was callus and kept my hair messy. Very bad experience. Feels like 10$ haircut

For regular haircuts, they are good. If you ask for fade on the sides, they lack the skill. Though appointment are not required for haircut, but if you need beard trimming, they ask you to move from one chair to another. Getting beard shaping/trimming is not a good choice here. Overall, its little overpriced & average skilled barbershop.

Made an appointment with Darren. Had to wait a few minutes but it’s fine. He knows how to cut Asian hair and won’t let you leave without a nice cut. He’s also pretty quick, you’ll be in and out within 30 minutes.

Going there since more than an year. Monica is excellent and Darren is very good too! They pay a lot of attention to detail and take time doing your hair. The staff is friendly. Its more expensive than your Supercuts or GreatClips and its hard to get an appointment on the same day with them but its worth the wait.

I think this place is usually good to get a haircut and from all the other reviews, Monica is the person to go to. But I got a haircut from some lady named Kylie Nguyen who didnt seem to know what she was doing. I felt like she was rushing the entire time even though no one else was waiting and the other hair dressers took their time on their customers. She kept stumbling around as if she doesnt normally cut hair or know where her tools were. She was cutting my hair with the hair clipper like she was mowing a lawn and pushing into my scalp really hard. With both the hair clipper and scissors, she was inconsistent and I ended up with an uneven haircut that was also too long on the sides and top. I asked her to do a number 2 and fade it in and she didnt even seem to understand what that meant. I have some thinning hair and I asked her to cut my hair with that in mind, but she ended cutting my hair in a way that makes it look like Im balding with a bad comb over. Luckily, one of the other hair dressers stepped in and fixed my hair a bit, so I didnt end up with a completely awful haircut, which is why Im still giving this place 2 stars. But the fact that someone had to step in made me feel like Kylie really didnt know what she was doing. Ive had good haircuts in the past even with my thinning hair and I was not impressed with Kylie.

Despite being named “A+ haircuts for men” this place does women’s haircuts too. I didn’t want to go to a fancy salon for an undercut and pay $60+ so I found this place instead. All I have to say is that Darren is amazing. This was my first time getting an undercut (and effectively buzzing half my head) he gave his suggestions and made sure to check with me throughout the entire process. Not only does he do undercuts/men’s styles, he even fixed up my bob and is clearly experienced with women’s hair too. I’ve tried so many other Asian barbers to avoid going to an expensive salon but they have always been subpar. While the prices here are higher, they are very reasonable for the quality (and still cheaper than most salons for women’s cuts). This is definitely my new go-to place.

Definitely the most thorough hair cut I have ever had. The stylist rechecked every part of the cut and did a couple types of detail trimming that I have never seen at the chain barber shops. Paid $25 plus an $8 tip and it was well worth it.
