I first came to Aqua Nails a little more than a year ago. At that time, I was unable to bend my legs well due to arthritis and was awaiting knee surgery. I was in desperate need of a pedicure, but was concerned that it would cause more pain for me. I asked some friends where they go and one of them suggested Aqua Nail. Holy cow! What a great experience I had. Jennifer was super understanding and patient when I told her my issues. I just couldnt move very quickly and also I couldnt always be in the best position for her. But she made it work. And the results were fantastic. I had surgery a few days after and everyone at the hospital commented on my beautiful pedicure. As soon as I was able to get out again, I went back and I have been coming ever since. The do fantastic looking manicures as well...acrylic, gel and such always look beautiful...I dont get my hands Don, just my feet and facial waxing. Waxing is always quick and not too painful. Prices are reasonable. Location is easy to get in and out. Its clean, friendly and they are always willing to accommodate me when I need a little extra care.

Aqua Nails is the place! My mom has been coming to see Jennifer for years and I only recently started regularly coming since moving back in state, but I can honestly say the best pedicures and upkeep on my dip that I’ve ever experienced. You really get what you pay for and the atmosphere is amazing! Personally I’ve had services done by Jennifer and Mika and I believe they great at what they do! Good vibes, good prices, good times. Sometimes I forget that I’m only here for my mani/pedis and eyebrows. When it’s time to get pampered, you won’t regret coming here.

I just received THE BEST pedicure in my 30+ years of getting pedicures. Mekas attention to detail is unsurpassed. She was thorough, warm, and HILARIOUS! The atmosphere was amazing and I walked out feeling AMAZING.

The salon is clean and is following Covid guidelines. My issue is the pedicure and nail polish service I received.My pedicure included paraffin wax and the gentleman told me that the polish would not last as long because of the oil from the paraffin wax unless I used gel polish. I told him I did not want the wax because my nail needed a break from gel. Until, he insisted that I would be fine. He would do it in a way that the polish would be fine. I gave him a chance because as the nail technician, he is the expert. Three hours later, the nail polish from my toes was all over my sandals and a bag in the car. I could literally wipe off the polish with my fingertips. I had to end up removing it.Was it cheap polish? Was it the application? I am unsure but what I do know is that I paid $56.00 plus a tip for a pedicure which is now incomplete due to the man who works at Aqua Nails who insisted on using oil and paraffin after reassuring me that my nail polish would be fine after HIS application.I was visiting Summerville and the salon closed at 3 due to Labor Day. I am not returning there as I basically paid $64.00 (tip included) for a signature pedicure without nail polish.Think twice before getting your nails done here.

The entire staff is excellent! I have been coming here for 3 years now .And there is not a nail technicians chair that I wouldnt sit in....professional service and friendly.

Used to to come regularly but the service has fallen off. I went in Friday April 2nd and got a gel manicure and by Monday the 5th my polish was already turning a darker color and was peeling. There’s no reason for gel polish to only last three days. Also, asked for a polish change on my toes and was given gel as well. I did not ask for gel but I was ok with it because I knew it would last longer on my toes. However I could see how that could be a turn off for other people. Lastly when paying for my service I was asked how I was going to pay and the only two options given were cash or cashapp. I didn’t have cash but I also didn’t like cashapp being my only other option. Won’t be returning

Had to wait a good while to get my nails done, but yet it was a Saturday. Seemed somewhat unorganized. Not many nail samples to choose from. You have to manually pick and choose matching colors if you want two toned nails. I probably wont be back.

Here you are treated like a quality customer versus a quantity customer.

I walked in and stood at the counter for a good 5 minutes but was totally ignored. The employees were right there and looked me right in my face. A guy who I guess was one of the regular customers walked in right after me (actually he held the door open for me& walked in after me) & hewas acknowledged as soon as he walked in. I understand when a nail salon is busy but the not only professional but humane thing to do is to acknowledge potential customers and let them know the wait time or if they cannot be seen! Just plain disrespectful and rude! Anyway I left and went to Paris Nails on Trolly Rd. Walked in, was acknowledged immediately and told the wait time. I waited...got my Mani and Pedi and above all else I was treated with respect.

Today was my second time coming to this nail salon and both times were equally amazing. The staff is relatable and entertaining. Jennifer did my full set originally and my fill today. Vy did my pedicure and after being in Charleston for a year without finding a good nail salon. I believe my search is over! The prices are a little higher than im use to but I dont mind paying for quality service. They also have stamp cards and you get $5 off your 5th service.

They had reasonable prices, and the photos online looked promising. The woman who did my nails butchered them. I asked for coffin and definitely left with rounded square nails. Very disappointed, won’t ever do that again!

Staff was nice. Service was fast. However I didnt like the sales pressure. I spent $38 on acrylic with gel polish and $10 for polish change just regular polish. The gel polish would have been $25. No pedicure just the color change. Jennifer made me feel like I wasnt spending enough and was bothering her. Asking me if I ever had nails before was a little rude too. Please work on tone and mannerisms.

Went for the first time on Friday and it was an awesome experience. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was great. Luckey did my pedicure and full set and made me feel relaxed and comfortable even when I couldn’t make my mind up on what color I wanted 😭. Everyone who was there seemed to enjoy themselves. Definitely my new go to nail salon.

The nail technician was very nice, but obviously not experienced. Two days after getting my nails done, I had already lost a nail doing laundry. The nails look cheap and are breaking so easily. I recommend trying another nail salon and I wish these folks the best!

I used to go there when different people worked there. I went two weeks ago and got gel nails done by Rose. I wasnt too impressed because it looked like a quick job. Part of my nail didnt have polish on it. I went back today and again I got rose. Well I picked out a set of colors. Rose said no, it would take too much time. Lazy!! To make it worst she didnt clip my cuticles. The price I paid was the same as if I had a full set. I didnt argue. I just said to myself, I will not be back!!

I was a loyal customer & been going there for the longest until another crew took over the place. Ive been going to Rose for a while until Thursday I went in for my regular fill in, A DAY AFTER the nail she put on broke off & I didnt even notice because I wasnt doing anything out the ordinary for it to break, so I went back Saturday morning so she can repair it, usually nail shops give you a 2 day limit if your nail breaks they fix it for free. But not Rose! She charged me $5 & laughed when I told her was she willing to charge me, she did my nails to thin anyway.. Moral of the story I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Good job on nails, but they dont control their really loud and intrusive customers. 40 minutes of listening to all the drama was very tiring and frustrating.

Go every two weeks to see Ms. Jennifer. Although prices can be high, she does the best work, pedicure full set eyebrows shes the one to go to

Horrible worst decision. Some off the staff was nice but whom ever did mine did not listen not the style not the shape and charged +$20 extra than they said at first and refused to fix my nails or refund after spending $50

Won’t go back again. Jen is awful! She was so rude. I brought my 13 year old to get her nails done while I got a pedicure. I specifically said I did not want her to have acrylic nails and also asked how much it was going to cost and was told 30-35.00. When she was done she had acrylic nails and I was charged 50.00. I said that was not what I was told it was going to cost and Jen could have cared less. She got her money and that was all she cared about. Horrible experience

My husband and I have visited this dealership about three times. Customer services with Ms. Meka and Ms. Jen have been amazing. With my first visit I requested gel nails and was given a full set with gel powder I told Jen the nail tech there was no such thing as gel powder it comes in a liquid for ... hence the word GEL. I did not say anything and let her finish her job. The 2nd time I asked about it again and was told the same thing. So today I spoke to the actual owner and was talked to like I was her child. Very unprofessional. I did not call her for a discount or anything. Just a simple answer. She said they have liquid gel and I told her I was never offered anything as such. This is why im giving a 1 star review. I am very disappointed in how the owner will smile in your face while you are there but as soon as you ask her a question about her service she talks to you like you are no one SMH. Her staff is amazing but she is not.
