One of the best Dentist I have been too. The staff were so nice and caring. I had an issue with my bridge. My Dentist was out of the office. We called Cane Bay Dentist explained the issue. They took us right away even though we were not a patient there. The dentist Dr. B was professional, caring, and explained everything in a way we would understand. I made an appointment for a check up and now I have a new Dentist!

The staff is awesome. They went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable even though I was in alot of pain. I cant say enough good things about them !!

I get my teeth cleaned every two months. I have seen 3 hygienists there and all three were very thorough. Recently I retired and have insurance through Cobra and ran into difficulties with the Cobra company acknowledging my insurance. They have been very patient to work through this with me to ensure payment of services. Highly recommend!

I LOVE this dentist!! They are professional! I had a major procedure; and when it didn’t turn out exactly right, they fixed it- no charge! They said they want me to be happy and comfortable with the results. All female staff seems to really work for them. I have never met an unprofessional staff member in the years I’ve been going. Watch out! i went here a year ago and they told me i had 14 cavities and i went to coastal kids and turns out i only had 3! and they also “fixed” one of them and glued two of my teeth together and i came out with pain that i didn’t have before! they looked like they had NO clue what they were doing the entire time also. (obviously they didn’t)

Received a crown which is less than 2 years old. Crown came off while eating. Contacted office to have remounted. Charged $89.00 to put on the item that apparently failed from original quality of work.Surprised dentist does not honor their work. In the past I have had crowns come loose more than 2 years after crown was glued and the dentist honored their work and re-glued the crown at NO CHARGE!Will be looking for a new dentist!!!!

I was not looking for a new dentist but needed a tooth pulled and my family dentist refused and referred me to an oral surgeon. I was told I would need $500 for the visit, mind you I had 3D x-rays sent to them already, and was not flexible with times I could come. So I went to Google to see what was out there. I read about Cane Bay Family Dentistry and they offered everything I needed to have done. They scheduled an appointment that worked for me. I went there and they were very professional and caring. They are going to not only pull my tooth, which is $50 by the way, but also do my root canal. I feel bad leaving a dentist office I have been going to for over 15 years, but know I am making the right decision. I have already referred 2 friends to try them out.

Ive been going to Cane Bay Family Dentistry since moving to Cane Bay almost 3 years ago. Sheri my hygienist is amazing, gentle but thorough. The dentist here are also great they have a very conservative approach and dont do procedures that you dont need. My toddler daughter also is a patient, their level of patience and care with her is outstanding. Look no further.

I will never trust this service provider and the doctor more. I visited them for filling, and they tried to sell me another service (they called deep cleaning). Before the cleaning procedure, I asked them to verify with the insurance to confirm if the service is covered and the detectable amount. They confirmed that I am covered with the insurance, and I paid them the total deductible amount.After six months of completing the service, they inform me that my insurance did not cover it, and I have to pay 100% of all the cost.I called the insurance, but I found no one from the dentists office called the insurance company to verify the coverage during the service on Jan/Feb (the insurance confirmed there was no record for any call). The insurance company also told me that the dentists office contacted them and sent the claim three months after the service.That means all information about my coverage, plan, cost, etc. was incorrect, and they do not want to take any accountability. I tried to reach the doctor, Dr. Amanda, many times, but she ignored my call request.Therefore I am filing a complaint against the doctors with the LLR.I should never trust what they said, and I should verify all coverage with the insurance directly to avoid paying an unexpected additional charge. We never had this issue with any health provider.The worst part of this story, they never apologized for the mistake they made and the incorrect information they provided me. instead, they careless, rude, and chasing me to pay all amountThat means all information about my coverage, plan, cost, etc. was incorrect, and they do not want to take any accountability. Everything about my experience at this office was excellent. The office is clean and comfortable and the dental machinery (x-ray machine, cleaning tools, etc) was high tech. The staff is above and beyond. I was so nervous to go to the dentist for the first time in 18 months, but that feeling was completely unwarranted after this appointment. The staff is kind, patient, professional and overall wonderful. They listened to my concerns and very thoroughly explained their process to me while they were doing the action—which is really important to an anxious patient. Also, this was truly the best (not painful at all!) cleaning I have ever gotten. I literally called my family members when I left to tell them I found out new family dentist. Thank you!

Cane Bay family dentistry, is a nice clean and friendly atmosphere to have your dental needs worked on. And the Doctor and staff are there for all of your dental questions and concerns...a great place to spend a little time. You will leave out different than the way you walk in.

This office loves to over charge patients. Be aware!!! They charge for services without explaining to the patient what they are doing. Very unethical place. Will never recommend it to anyone! I wish I could give them 0 starts, one it is way more than they deserve. So if you still choose to go there make sure that you ask before they put a hand on you, how much it is and what they are doing.

I had my appointment for dental cleaning after a very long time due to Covid restrictions. My hygienist Teresa did a through job taking x-rays and do the cleaning. It was a pleasant experience with minimal pain. The place has modern X-Ray equipment for diagnostics. The patient room offers TV monitors mounted on the wall and the ceiling. I liked this setup since it provides entertainment during treatment and allows Doctors to display the x-ray slides and photos and discuss treatment options.

Ive been to a LOT of dentist offices and this one is the best! Ive never had to wait to be seen, they take care of only what is needed and offer payment plans. Highly recommend!

Very bad financial practices at this location. Do not go to this dentist because they will oversell services that are not necessary nor covered by insurance (they won’t tell you until you’re chucking out). Many other dentists in the area that are professional and ethical. Made a mistake of going here once because it was closer to my home but will never again go here nor recommend this place.

This practice definitely makes the appointments based on what they need, not what the patient needs. Be advised, you may be stating exactly what your problem is, but they WILL make that appointment for a comprehensive exam, xrays, etc. Doesnt matter if your front tooth is chipped due to an accident and you present as such. .We are done. Family of 6.

Very disappointing. They moved me around to a different doctor everytime and moved my appointments multiple times without telling me. Ive had to arrange help to watch my baby so I could come and have been turned away twice now. I always ended up paying way more than they quoted me. I brought my whole family here for convenience because we live in Cane Bay but will never come back.

Very friendly staff, they helped me with my paperwork seeing me as a new patient. They have great office hours that accommodate my work schedule. There was no waiting, they had me back quickly to see the dentist. Unfortunately they couldnt work on me today because of some blood pressure issues, but I will be returning to this office as soon as those get resolved.

As most I’m sure feel this way a trip to the dentist is always for me something I don’t look forward to and gives me anxiety when I know I’m about to have a procedure done. Today I had to have an abscess tooth pulled that was infected as an emergency after making two trips to the ER. I was not able to be sedated since they were accommodating me in their full schedule. They were amazing. I would have thought this was going to be a terrible experience and very painful but it was completely opposite she was very through and made sure I was comfortable she walked me through every step and made sure I was not in any pain. I didn’t feel anything and it was the most pleasant dental experience of my life and I’m 40. I will go back to her for all my dental work. She had a great assistance who was equally great and the staff is always so pleasant and friendly. They are reasonable in pricing and have excellent hours that work for everyone. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone especially if going to a dentist has been difficult because of a bad experience or gives you lots of anxiety. Thank you so much for taking me in under my condition when you had a full schedule already, for excellent treatment, and being so caring and making this a pleasant experience for me. I will not neglect my teeth anymore because of the fears of the experience and have found a place I can be confident I will get the best treatment without an unpleasant experience anymore.

Their dentists are super nice and I definitely recommend them for basic family dentistry (hence the two stars), however they also list themselves as cosmetic and... I don’t feel that they should.I had a root canal needed in a chipped/broken veneer. The veneer was part of a smile makeover and it was designed to make a canine look like a premolar - very different teeth. The first time, the color was off - meaning the tooth was two colors. The second time; they sent the wrong shaped tooth - but the color was perfect. The third time, I honestly just wanted to be done with it. It’s still a premolar. And now the opposite side of my mouth looks unbalanced. Apparently their lab is completely incompetent, despite my poor dentist talking to them directly multiple times. They badly, badly need to switch labs.I’m going to another dentist who is recognized as a cosmetic dentist by the AACD to fix this.My mistake for trusting them to work on a tooth (and root canals are expensive) that had a cosmetic background. But I trusted them. And gave so many chances. And spent a ton of money.

Everyone is so nice and very good at explaining everything. Teresa cleaned my teeth and was so gentle I never felt any pain. I go see Dr. Madison tomorrow to have an infected tooth extracted. I feel certain everything will be fine after meeting her today.

They lie to you. Say they take your insurance and then AFTER you see the dentist, they reveal that they don’t take your “specific” plan and stick you with a bill for hundreds of dollars. File a complaint with the SC dental board against the dentist that provided your services. This is fraud, unprofessional and unethical.

Cane Bay Dentistry remade a night guard that had become uncomfortable wearing! They totally remade new impressions and made sure it was done right! I was so pleased when they went the extra mile to be sure that the new one would be exactly the right fit and comfortable for me to wear each night! This was proof they really care about the quality of their dental care and stand behind it! I would definitely recommend them!

Great Place! It’s family friendly and professional. Took my teenagers and toddler. My teens thought their exam and cleaning was a smooth and comfortable process. My 4 year old was horrified about going to the dentist and magically the staff made her comfortable and engaged, She likes the dentist now. I loved the fact that I didn’t have to wait. The staff was ready for us at our appointment time.

Sandy is a superb dental hygienist. Very gentle and knowledgeable. I learned far more interesting information from sandy about how dental issues arise and how to address them successfully. The office is nice and they have taken abundant measures for hygiene and cleanliness. Plus, I do not have insurance and they were able to offer me some sort of dental savers plan, which is much appreciated. So far a top notch dental experience as far as traditional cleaning and deep cleaning experiences go

From check in through check out, everyone was AMAZING. We brought our 2 year old in for his first dental appointment and they made him so comfortable. We were worried how he would handle his first appointment but he LOVED it. He was sad when it was time to leave.

My 3 year old daughter and I went to Cane Bay family dentistry for routine cleanings and I was very nervous. My daughter had not done well at previous visits but she did amazingly well this time and I definitely think her hygienist Angel and her dentist Dr.Emmons had a ton to do with that! They were both patient and understanding when she was hesitant and worked so hard to be encouraging and fun with her.Dental care is so important to our family and I really appreciate staff that work hard to help us have a great visit!

I always have a great experience during my dental visits. The staff is always friendly and Dr. Snipes makes sure I am well informed of any issues that may arise before dental work is done and what can happen if dental work is not performed. The office is clean and sanitized which is a plus for me!

The dentist office is very clean and professional. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I’ve had multiple cavities filled and recently had problems with a tooth ache afterwards. The dentistry scheduled me next day and resolved the issue quickly and at no cost to me. They really did care and wanted me better as much as did.In my opinion the dentist’s are rushed from patient to patient. As I’m being worked on the dentists are being told next person is ready and I’m in middle of being worked on. This CAN lead to poor quality work, higher stress on dentist and the patient feels like a # rather than valued patient. I know more patients = more $ but 1 bad experience loses the patient, extended family and anyone who will listen. Quality over quantity...

The hygienist Lisa is excellent at what she does and is very through. Dr Snipes ( I hope thats the right spelling)🤦 is very gentle and a great dentist. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 is the front desk didnt inform me that I have to pay for the follow up on deep cleaning. Since you pay so much for deep cleaning and nobody informed any different I obviously thought it was included until after the procedure I was informed I have to pay for it 😣. Which I was not pleased with but she was nice enough and worked out a payment plan

I am new to the area and needed a place to go to for oral health. I made an appointment and I am always very skeptical of new dentists because of past experiences. I came in the office and was welcomed with smiles and asked if I needed anything. I barely sat down, when the called my name to come back. The dentist assistant and the dentist where amazing and cared about my comfort. I love this place and the people.

All of the staff were extremely nice and very helpful!! They had video games and Legos for kids while you wait. There are 2 TVs in the room, one on the wall and one on the ceiling (nice distraction, especially for kids)! They called our insurance company during our appointment so they can review what is covered with you before you leave and send a follow up email with additional visit information. Definitely recommend!

The Cane Bay Family Dentistry is a Family-oriented practice with hard-working staff. They are kind, friendly and nice. The entire staff should get treated to 1 day or night at La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant at least 1 time every 6 months to a year.

Its always a quick visit when I come in here. The entire staff is always friendly and somehow they never seem to have a bad day. Normally you dread going to the dentist but this place makes it a good experience all around. And they wont destroy your mouth during a teeth cleaning like some other places Ive been to.

Dr. Rivera and his team are the most caring and professional staff ever! After my first cleaning everyone thought I got my teeth whitened because they looked so good. I also had to get a crown and the process was explained and the financial plans they offer are so compassionate. Dr. Rivera himself will personally call me to make sure I have all my needs met. I had a great experience at CB Family Dentistry. Had to bring my child twice in less than a week for follow up and their outstanding service is consistent. The staff is friendly and helpful, the office is clean, almost no wait before being called in and the appointment availability and choices are great. The DMD was fantastic to my child which made procedures go very smooth.

This place is awesome. We just moved to Cane Bay a few months ago and didn’t find a family dentist yet. My 10 yr old came to me last night saying a piece of her tooth cracked off. Called Cane Bay Family Dentistry and they got both my children in today. They were so nice and accommodating. They were great with both my children(one got a cleaning and checkup the other got two teeth pulled). Dr. Snipes was awesome and so was her whole team. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for and awesome dentist. You will not be disappointed.
