Weve been very happy with Tiger Rock Sugar Land for introducing our 4 year old to martial arts. The instructors are always extremely enthusiastic and energetic. I dont know how they do it! Our son loves it and looks forward to every class.

My family has been with tiger rock since 1994 and we have continued to benefit from the life skills and self defense training through today.

Their gym made the short list. The director reached out to me personally to invite me to see and experience a class and that sealed the deal for me. Being an adult I was worried about how I would feel in their teen/adult classes. It was a professional class. I dont know what I was expecting or worried about, now that I think back.I signed up for lessons near the end of February just before this era of COVID-19 began, so I did attend some classes in person at the academy. I was initially worried about how this was going to transfer over online. Among the three other hobbies I do, they by and large blew everyone else out of the park with their ability to adapt their business. I feel I get as much attention as I did at the gym (if not more now). If I am struggling with something or want a more in depth explanation there is always someone available to answer my questions.I have seen their precautionary measures firsthand and I am impressed.Tiger Rock has pushed me physically and given me milestones to work towards. I joined because I want to be continually pushed outside my comfort zone. What I didnt realize I would also get is a sense of stability and reliability, which is so important these days. When we all are trying to find the new normal, Tiger Rock has made their classes so easily accessible whether you want to go in person or do them online. They stand behind their word and they are solution oriented.This is a hobby that has required me to exercise discipline and commitment. They make you feel like an extended family member and help you in any way they can. You just need to ask.What I appreciate about their staff is their directness and professionalism.

Great place to start for beginners and the instructor are really great. Enrolled my nephew today and hope it works well for him!!

I used to take classes here with my son. The instructors were awesome. They made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a grown up in a class mixed with children. They did not treat me like a chaperone. I felt like a student learning from great instructors. Great bonding experience for me and my son. Thanks Tiger Rock!

Great place to train. The instructors are very skilled but are able to make the lessons entertaining. It is a great environment for kids to learn in as well. Myself and my family have trained here for some time now. I would recommend this academy and Tiger Rock in general to anyone looking to seriously develop their martial arts abilities.

Lovely place for kids.a bit expensive but i guess all that facilities and super friendly environment they provide its all worthy. Best thing about tiger rock that they teach great deal of discipline without any forceful action.TIGER ROCK rocks👍.

My two teenage daughters and I have been training here for several years and thoroughly enjoy it. The workouts are always changing, are challenging and fun. Great care is put into scaling the workouts for all types of individuals from the beginner to the more experienced making it a good fit for families. The comradery between the students, parents and instructors is strong which definitely adds to the experience.

All three of my kids enjoyed went to Tiger Rock to learn the basics. They had a good time, and got basic self defense knowledge. It was good exercise and fun at a reasonable price. Are they black belts now? Of course not, but they know enough that they could take it up again if they ever want to.Recommended for beginners. I dont know about the upper level training because we didnt get that far.

Incredible academy. The instructors are funny, nice, and well trained and my fellow classmates are positive, skilled, and supportive. Everyday I walk into class, I learn something new and it leads on to preparation for our Belt Exams or Tournaments. Would recommend anytime!!!

Ive trained here for the past 2 years as an adult and I love it. This is a lifelong sport for me. Amazing instructors, clean facility, and great classes. Ive learned so much about self defense and feel more confident in my abilities to defend myself.

This place changed my life and now I enjoy being social thanks to them

My kid has been going here for over 2 years now, instructors have been great and lessons are fun for kids but is becoming expensive for everything, I was shocked to see tshirt charged 30$, Is it really that expensive? I am thinking of it again looking at expenses, hope it reaches management and they consider charges
