This was my first time using them to service our geothermal unit. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly professional and helpful. The technician they sent to my house (DeAndre) was awesome. Seriously. He seemed to be a master of his craft. It’s hard to find that in any service anymore, so it was a nice change of pace. Not sure if everyone else has had the same experience with them, but we will definitely be using them going forward. Oh, and their semi-annual service contracts are loaded with benefits if you’re the kind of person who takes good care of their equipment.

Reference my Rental Property Condo in Virginia Beach, I have to say Atlantic Shores Heating and Cooling hit all the marks. Quality product (Trane), responsive, good value, and engaged with the customer. After working through several bids with different Heating and Air companies in VA BCH, Atlantic Shores hit every mark! a third of the companies were non- responsive, some were just flippin crazy with their pricing, even for lessor equipment, others seemed disorganized. Hal Nystrom from ASH&C was great from the start. I myself knowing a little about AC systems, he talked to me technically about my concerns offering me additional insight on the job. He always responded to my calls without delay. Atlantic Shores was on-time for both the estimate process and in the installation. Workmanship was excellent and my tenant is happy with heat. I needed to replace my fairly ancient gas water heater and hired Atlantic Shores to provide and install the new unit. Parts of the job were kind of challenging due to some creative vent work the previous owner of my home had installed on the old unit. The Atlantic Shores installers stuck with the job and made the mods needed to ensure my new unit was properly vented and safe. They also noticed that a water line from the unit did not have a cutoff valve installed, so they went ahead and installed one for me at no extra charge. I really appreciated their extra effort to make sure my new unit was installed 100% correctly.

Atlantic Shores comes highly recommended, but I would steer everyone I can to a different company.I had them come out to my house for an estimate on getting duct work installed as it had to be removed for repairs years ago. Although the tech was on time and very polite, it seemed he did not want to take on the job, and verbally quoted us $10,000 for a one story 1,500 square foot house.This was the 3rd company that I had called out for an estimate, as repairs were being paid for by a 3rd party; and they required at least 3 estimates.I informed the tech that the price wasnt an issue (even though both other companies had quoted me roughly $3,500 less for the same job)I was informed I would receive an official estimate the same day, which I did not expect to happen, but have still not received one after multiple days.I called to inquire when I can expect to receive the official estimate, and let the same tech know that it was needed asap, he sounded almost surprised to hear from me and informed me that he would get it completed and sent to me that same day.... I still never received it.Now I am forced to call out yet another company for an estimate, pushing back on when I can finally have AC in this brutal heat.

We hired Atlantic Shores to replace our entire system (new gas furnace, new AC unit, new ductwork, added Remi Halo and blow in insulation in attic). We just signed up with Atlantic Shores Heating & Cooling. Initially, we called to have our HVAC system checked out to make sure it is running efficiently. We also bought a new programmable thermostat and asked if they could do the installation. We had it installed, however, the unit was faulty so they came back to install the replacement unit. All three visits were done by their technician, DeAndre Mitchell. He was so professional, kind, and patient. He did such an amazing job both on the install and the system check. Quality staff but poor follow-up. Our experience with technician Dylan and sales consultant Hal was pleasant. They were both very polite, professional and explained the problem and options well. Got an immediate quote for repair of a failed compressor, but we have an old unit so we also requested a quote to replace the unit. Was told on Tuesday morning that Id have a quote same day. Didntreceive it so I followed up on Wednesday to verify my email address. Still never received the quote even though I did receive the survey invitations via email. Contacted another local company that came out on Friday afternoon and I had a reasonable quote for replacement within half an hour.

I had Dylan Scott come out to repair my house/fuel line, after gas company turned off gas due to leaks. He showed up early in the window of time they provided, I could track how far out he was to arriving, and he made the repairs in under the time he quoted. On a cold night, I couldn’t have survived another night without heat. The price was reasonable, the staff was great, and I have heat restored.

It’s a blessing to be able to get something I have wanted for years. A Heating and Cooling Unit for my home. Atlantic Shores Heating and Cooling out Suffolk delivered. The guys from this company are the best at their jobs. Hal, Thomas, Will and Art, I thank you for installing my system, answering all my questions, being respectful of my home by cleaning up and even the quiet and polite conversations while going about their duty. They removed items from the attic that were further back than I knew about and placed them outside for me. After completing the installation job, they explained how the system worked in detail. They could have left at this point but Thomas politely asked me if I needed the window units removed. I had three, I am grateful for those air conditioners, they served it’s purpose but it was time for a new move. I almost cried because I would have had to wait a while to have them removed. They worked as a team to remove the units and one window there was an issue, but they worked it out for me. I am very pleased from the initial visit up until they pulled out of the yard. A job well done and appreciated. I recommend this company with out hesitation.

My heat pump blew air with a stale smell, especially after a two-week trip. Wonder why. The company sent a technician to find out a dirty outdoor air exchange chamber with insects and mold. He cleaned the chamber and there is a residual cleaner smell from the indoor vents. This gives me confidence that the stale air was from the same dirty location before. The company was very professional and the technician was very helpful to make me understand the root problem for the stale smell. I highly recommend the service of this company.

Atlantic Shores was recommended by Lowe’s to have our HVAC assessed due to sweating duct work. Hal was prompt and extremely helpful. We did not actually need our system replaced, but will definitely use them when that time comes. Not only did they answer all our questions but also made suggestions on what to do about the issues ie our dryer ventilation duct work was close by and Hal checked to make sure it was vented properly.

Back storyJune 1, this year I had a new heating and cooling system installed by Atlantic Shores, due the other unit was old and we made repeated costly repairs.Atlantic came in and did an awesome job!!!Fast forward to 20 minutes ago, my thermostat was blank and after viewing a lot of videos on YouTube I realized that my unit needed someone more knowledgeable than I.So I contacted Atlantic on their FB page thinking I would hear back tomorrow; not these guys. I got a response in no time at all and the advice they me to correct the issue worked and yep you guessed back in action!!Thanx Atlantic.

The technician arrived on time on a Saturday morning to clean my ducts. The technician did some repair work on the ducts avoiding some costly repairs in the future free of charge.Biggest thing is I took a technician’s advice after a free estimate and had the RGF Reme Halo LED air purifier installed and this has made a big difference in my breathing since I suffer from emphysema. They also took care of having the warranty registered with manufacturer.Very satisfied with the price and service and I am somebody that’s hard to impress.

The technician came out at the time he said which was after hours between 10-11pm. I initially called around 7pm and was very grateful that the tech called back within a half hour. My a/c went out when it was 90 plus outside that evening. He was very professional and courteous and had my a/c back up and running within a half hour. Atlantic Shores are my new to-go-to people. My old contractor didn’t even have an emergency call back number.

I am very happy with my mini split 2 ton unit. It is very economical, my electric bill has dropped an average of 60 dollars a month and it is very quiet. It replaced 2 window units in my garage it is the best money that I have spent in long time. Thank you Atlantic Shores for a job well done!

We had new HVAC installed by Atlantic Shores a few years ago and the install was a good experience. Now selling home and home inspector raised question about a piece of flex duct that appeared to not be connected to anything. My call to Atlantic Shores was promptly responded to by a visit by Hal Nystrom within a few hours and he confirmed it was just a section of the old flex duct. He removed it from crawl space and shortly after he left I received a report from company to present to buyers showing that it was taken care of. I had a preconceived concern that it would take days to get someone to come out to look at the situation and was amazed at their quick response to this! I can’t thank these folks enough for their super quick response time which allowed me to keep the selling process moving forward without delay.

I required an unscheduled emergency repair on a nearly 100 degree day. Atlantic Shores made it out within an hour of my call. Less than 15 minutes later the techinician, Gary, had corrected the units problem and my house was cooling. Gary was very courteous and professional and obviously knowledgeable. He explained everything to me. I will definitely call Atlantic Shores for all of my heating and cooling needs.

The reason for my call to ASHC was b/c rats had gotten into our duct work and we needed to get it cleaned/sanitized so that we could use our heat again. We live in a fairly secluded neighborhood and we are surrounded by protected wetlands so creatures and critters are a regular over here. We had been without heat for 2 months while we had various consultations and made phone calls to figure out the right path. My initial experience/consultation with ASHC was completely FUBARd by another internal associate of the higher ranks (VP status). After the initial consultation it took 4 days to get a quote and I only got it after Id called the office to have him send it to me. Im not used to having to chase people to GIVE them business. Then when I called the VP associate to schedule an appointment I was told to call back the next day b/c he wasnt in front of his calendar and he was at another appointment at the time. Well another 3 days passed and I had to call the office again in which I was then told that Im supposed to call the office for appointments anyway. NICE!Please keep in mind that by this time I was frustrated with the level of customer service and Id called other companies. Out of the 8 others I called 5 of them didnt clean ducts and the others couldnt get us in until end of January. So back to ASHC. We got an appointment set up and I couldnt wait for the day so we could get some heat back in our lives and the smell out! Well, service day came and it was discovered by Will Foegelle (lead installer who is awesomely thorough and cool headed!) that the main services that needed to get heat back on and smell out could not be done b/c VP associate failed to check the flex lines so he would have seen that the rats had chewed through just about all of our flex lines. In addition, Will and his team didnt show up with one of the main components to provide the service b/c VP associate failed to put it in the proposal! To say that I was at my highest levels of pisstivity at this point would be an understatement!Fast forward after Id made a very irate call to the office Will informed me that his supervisor Josh Hawkins was on his way to my home.Josh was the super hero of the day! His elite customer service skills and verbiage was spot on in handling this very FUBARd situation and his only goal was to earn my business back and make sure I was satisfied at the end of it. Josh hit all of the right buttons when dealing with a FUBARd (in case I didnt make it clear that it was) situation. He acknowledged my issues and concerns, he patiently listened to me, he wasnt condescending and he didnt try to avoid, defend and make excuses for but instead owned up to it and dug in to get it fixed! Despite the fact that NONE of this was on him. Josh, Will and the team went ABOVE and BEYOND to rectify this situation and we now have clean sanitized heat! And the awful pet shop smell is gone! If I ever do business with ASHC again I will only ask for Josh/Will! I could never thank you guys enough for what you did and how you handled the situation.Sincerely!

We recently had a new HVAC unit installed by Atlantic Shores Heating and Cooling and could not be happier. The gentlemen that came to install our new unit were friendly, professional and courteous. They explained everything they were going to do, reviewed everything with me once they were done, and made sure to test the unit to be sure it was working properly before they left. They answered any and all of my questions and even went so far as to say they would be happy to come back and review everything with my husband if he had any questions or concerns as he was not home they day they did the new install. My husband was equally impressed with the gentleman that initially came to repair our older unit - even though he had the misfortune of delivering the news that we may want to consider getting a new unit! He explained all of our options and answered all of our many questions. After doing some research on my own, we decided that a new unit was our best option. Wow!!! Called 3 heating and cooling places before I called Atlantic Shores Heating and Cooling and let me just say this, impressive!! No one could come out on the same day, Atlantic Shores did, no one quoted me a fair reasonable price for a consultation, Atlantic Shores did, and when they arrived within the hour of me calling, I was over the moon!! They sent a technician by the name of Dylan and my AC was back up and running within 30 mins and I didnt feel I was raked over the coals. Not only did he fix my problem in a timely and professional manner, he also educated me on proper maintenance and made me feel secure in knowing my AC was fixed. He did such a fantastic job, I also hired this company to continue with my yearly maintenance. When my AC broke last night, I actually cried, because Im a hardworking single mother and I was so nervous having someone come look at my unit. I was worried about being blindsided by an unreasonable quote. Well I worried for nothing. Fair, competitive pricing!
