When I got diagnosed with female hair loss by a dermatologist, I felt frightened and abandoned to figure out the journey on my own. Chimene was a comforting and knowledgeable presence that helped me figure out a plan. I have followed her recommendations and am no longer shedding. I am still early in the journey but look forward to seeing my progress.

My hairdresser at Hair Loss Center of Boston (HLCB) has been my main source of hair health care since 2015. Health for your hair is very, very important. My prior hair care involved perms, boxed hair colors and braids all which were harmful to my hair. Changing to Silk Press and professional hair coloring has made a tremendous change in the growth, beauty and strength of my hair, because I have no plans of seeing any hair loss. With all this covid going on and businesses closed, my hair was in desperate need of attention. The daily stress caused some hair breakage. On top of that I also have psoriasis in my scalp so professional attention was in need. With salons reopening I called a few stylist who worked on my hair through the years and not one of the 3 stylist I contacted returned my call neither did the 4 hair salons.Finally I remembered Chimene. She had done my hair in the past but when I changed jobs my hours made it difficult to see her. I crossed my fingers and reached out via text 6am on a Thurs, she responded in 15 mins, had an opening 3 days later and to my surprise she reached her goal and obtained her hair loss license because hair care is her passion.The scalp detox, oxygen treatment is detailed and effective. I could actually feel my scalp breathe for the first time in months it seems. The hair extension service I used to get had been discontinued but because Chimene is a consummate professional she grandfathered the service for me and did it anyways.I learned as well. I was taught what I eat plays huge factor in not only health but it effects the hair.I left there feeling like a new woman. Also her wig making and styling skills are top notch. I could say so much more but my hand is getting tired...😊

Today was my first time going to Chimene and she really is the best at what she does! She took the time to explain my scalp to me and the importance of not having scalp build up as well as hair loss. I would definitely recommend her. When I got home, my hubby said it was the best he has ever seen my hair and my scalp feels amazing! She will work wonders on your hair and scalp.

I have been going to Carol for the past three years and shes the best. I am very tender headed and I move a lot while being braided but she still does a great job. I went to Carol with very short hair and a patch in the middle but now I have a full head of hair.Every time I do cornrows everyone asks me where I did then from or always tell me how nice they look. Shes very good to me and has helped me a lot in my natural hair journey. Id definitely recommend her.

Well Im from the south and down in the south theirs a lot of talent and competition in the hair industry. I came to MA two years ago and could not find a true hair stylist. I went as far as to cutting all my hair all the way off. I came across EFX Hair hoping to give it another chance at getting my hair done and I was seriously impressed. If you have sebhorreic dermatitis, you need to schedule a scalp detoxification with Chimene. I was diagonesed 2 years ago and my mistake was waiting two years to get rid of the build up. The build up will clog your hair follicles if you do not treat it quickly. Not only will chimene help you externally, but she will try to find the root cause and guide you. I think I will beat my SD with Chimene. She is very smart and friendly, and is right for the job
