The people at the shop are nice, and the place is clean. You can make an appt online and can pay online. These things dont mean much if the quality of the work is not good. I have always taken my car back to the dealership, but I had an issue with my timing chain so I needed to get it repair locally. These guys did a great job, so I came back to have my rear brakes done and my cooling system flushed. Their customer service and quality of work has made me into a loyal customer. I have an Audi, but I will take our Hondas there as well.

We took my husbands car to get the oil changed, and on the way to Atlanta to catch a flight, the exhaust started smoking blue smoke! We took it to a dealership in Atlanta and turns out D&R put TWICE the amount of oil needed for the car! That is insane, I do not know how a car care shop like this does that. They did agree to refund the oil change. I have heard multiple bad things about this place recently and will NOT be going back. They will scam you and hurt your vehicle in the long term. Not professionals, they have no idea what customer service or expert car maintenance is not even down to the simple basics. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The front staff is great here, I was so lucky that they were able to fix my car same-day when the water pump broke and I couldn’t get to work. I’m giving them 3 stars though because my car overheated a week later and had to be towed due to something they fixed. I didn’t get charged for the second repair, but they made me pay for the tow truck which i don’t really think is fair. I’m still anxious that the problem isn’t solved but I’m also very grateful they were even able to help me the first time.

Good fast and friendly. Had to have complete electric steering replacement for 2015fordflex only has 49,000 miles,was sickening.I had a few wont touch it. A leave it a few days and Ill get back to you. Most impressive was$3,000! Wow. Google + D&R= fixed. 1 day in and outand a $1,000 cheaper!!!

I highly recommend D&R tire. They open earlier and stay later than everyone else. Helped me with a special order tire on short notice, were very professional and quick. They even charged less than originally quoted. Will definitely be using again. The owner even text me to see how my experience was......I mean what excellent customer service!

They had my car for a week before starting the repair. Literally a month to fix my car.

I was in a great bind. I dropped my son off for student check in. My truck messed up in the middle of moving him in. I called D& R and they not only let me bring it to them. They also gave me a number to a towing company that came faster than my insurance tower company did. They fixed my truck in a couple of hours and had me back on the road. I love the warm welcome and hospitality that Joey and Ashley showed me. Who by the way both had on cute shoes 😉. Thank you guys for being an honest and giving the diligent service you gave me. My son now has a great shop to take his vehicle to when he is away at school and that is one less thing a college student’s mom has to worry about. Amazing place.

Contacted them by phone about repairs to my daughters car. Her vehicle got towed their due to it overheating. Did a VERY thorough inspection of the car. Their estimated repairs were done in a timely manner and they did an excellent job with the repairs. D & R is my go to place for car service. They will truly work to get to the bottom of any issue you have. My most recent experience was an oil change due to the fact that I couldnt get a timely appt with Hyundai. Plus I also needed a new tire due to a blow out. Prior to this visit, D & R was able to diagnose an issue with my Nissan (2005) that three different Nissan dealerships could not accurately diagnose. It took 3 different visits and process of elimination of what they thought would fix it, before it was accurately diagnosed. The bottom line is that they didnt give up. My Nissan now drives again like a dream.

I was referred to D&R by a family friend, because i had a hard time finding a reputable Volvo Mechanic in The surrounding area. I dropped my vehicle off for a timing belt change, oil leak, water pump, and an alignment. These guys promptly diagnosed the issues, sent me a link to a website with photos documenting everything that was going on, and quoted me a fair price for labor. D&R was able to finish helping me in a timely manner and when my car was finished they offered to take over future repairs on it. It’s so worth it to drive forty-five minutes to have my car repaired and will continue using D&R out in Statesboro, they’ve helped me feel reassured with my car being close to 240,000 miles. Thank you for being reputable D&R, I’ll continue to bring my vehicle in and really can’t see myself taking it anywhere else.

The D&R team took great care with an urgent issue on my daughter’s car. They were so very responsive ... so very considerate and respectful ... so very thorough ... they cared for an urgent issue immediately and returned her car within hours. I Called and asked how much an oil change would be and told them my car takes synthetic blend they told me $39. When it was time to pay the charged me $66, and never informed me they would have to charge me extra. Today was my first time visiting and it’s definitely the last.

I drove over an hour away to look at a used vehicle in Statesboro. Since I couldn’t bring it back to my mechanic to get checked out, I brought it to D and R for a used car inspection. Even though I was a little late, they got it right in, inspected everything and checked the code history. While I waited, the owner was open about what to look for in issues with the vehicle and what I might expect from the dealership. He never made me feel like he was in a hurry or had something better to do, I felt guilty for taking so much of his time! If I lived in the area, they would be getting all of my auto repair business.

Ray and the D&R team are always awesome! They do great work at a great value, and are always very timely and helpful in addressing any of our automotive issues. We couldnt appreciate them more!

I went to get my battery replaced in my Ford Focus here. It ended up being 300 dollars. They were fast and nice about everything, but they didnt have to go so overkill and spend 220 dollars on the replacement battery. I wish they would’ve at least checked with me before putting an extremely expensive battery in it.

They did an amazing job on their end. We dud have a little snag with parts that were ordered for my vehicle that took a little longer to get there and the people they ordered from ended up sending the wrong part but I know the fault wasnt on their end and they made sure to refund me for the part and labor. I would gladly recommend them. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Thanks again guys!!!

D & R did a great job on my car. It was ready in a few days and I really love their system. When you take your car in they do an inspection and then send you a link with pictures and all the issues. Very great to work with and super nice! Highly recommended!

Great service. Made my appointment. Dropped off my car, 45 minutes later got an update on the situation. Nothing was found to be wrong so they didn’t charge me anything. Will be back.

This past Thursday I took my truck to D&R to get my oil changed (as I have done many times before). I then left immediately to drive to Jacksonville. Shortly after I returned to Statesboro (on Saturday), I received a warning light on my dash indicating oil pressure low, stop engine. I then called D&R who would not answer the phone. As it turns out, my truck had been running on 2 quarts (or less) of oil, potentially all the way to Jacksonville and back. All of this occurred because the mechanic at D&R was so incompetent that he didnt screw the oil filter on. The most disgusting part of all of this is that when I talked to them this morning to resolve the problem, the owner, Ray, was willing to do absolutely nothing for me. Wouldnt even reimburse me for the cost of the oil or oil filter. My truck now has a good little bit of valve tap upon start up due to running with almost no oil in it. Brought in for a starter issue. Had starter replaced 3 times in the last 2 months. Tried to tell them there was another problem. They did not listen and the starter they replaced failed. They replaced the starter free of charge after finding a faulty ground led to the starter burnout. Great repairs, just a loss of time because the car had to be towed back for something that could have been caught the first time.

Exceptional staff and services! Every time I have taken my car into D & R they have completed the work needed in a remarkable time frame. They definitely take care of their customers, answer all your questions, explain/help you understand whats wrong, and check up on the statues of the car days after you leave the shop! I called D & R for an estimate to replace the battery in my 2015 mini cooper. I was quoted a price of $100 plus taxes, this price included replacement and programming. I had purchased elsewhere from OReilly parts. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told it would cost ~$140. I told her I had been quoted $100. The guy who quoted the price was sitting there and admitted he had given me the quote. However, she would not honor the quote.I called Critz BMW in Savannah, they quoted me $65 plus taxes for replacement and programming. They even washed and vacuumed my car.Im glad D&R did not honor the quote, I paid less than half of what they wanted and recieved better service and treatment. Ill be driving to Savannah from now on for my auto repairs.

My grandson recently had a problem with my car while traveling to Savannah. The car was towed to D&R and diagnosed with a defective fuel pump assembly. D&R replaced it promptly in a few days and I picked the car up. Unfortunately, the new fuel pump assembly was defective, but D&Rs 12 month warranty covered the cost of replacement at my local repair shop. A D&R person guided me through the warranty process and checked with me several times to make sure everything was handled to my satisfaction. Thank you D&R for your personal service. D & R has consistently shown they are competent, honest, and reasonable. Over the years on a variety of vehicles their service has always been reliable.

D & R performed task I requested in an appropriate amount of time. Staff was friendly and attentive. They did however attempt to charge me $70 dollars to replace a battery terminal. I was informed they bill at 97.00 an hour. They won’t be working on my vehicle at those rates.

I needed someone to change my low beam lights on my car after the nice young man at OReillys said that he wouldnt be able to do it after running into some complications. He suggested D & R to us so we went down there and they agreed to take it that same day although appearing very busy.. I left my car and what seemd but Is exaggerated 10 minutes later they were calling saying it was ready for pickup. Everyone I encountered at the shop was nice, friendly and professional. I was able to get what I needed done in a timely and cost efficient manner. I will definitely be returning with any unforeseen issues with my vehicles in the future!

I was only going to pass through Statesboro on my way to Savannah for business, but a hydroplane trip through the ditch required an alignment and a remount of a tire. D & R was very accommodating in getting me in for an inspection and then very complete on the explanation of what I would need done. I needed to have lower ball joints replaced (normal wear and tear for a vehicle with high miles) and they strongly suggested I have that done. They quoted me the work, but did not insist that I have it done. Due to time constraints and having my guy back home that could do that work, they agreed to set the alignment, fix the tire and get me back on the road.Two things: The price (what I paid and what was estimated for the work I passed on) wasnt cheap, but I didnt find it to be excessive either.If I had decided to have the work done here, I would have done so with complete confidence based on my experience with them.The waiting area is probably the most comfortable and spacious I have ever seen and allowed me a good opportunity to get work done while waiting (a reasonable amount of time).Use these guys. You wont regret it.

I’ve used D & R for years to service my Mercedes, Jeep, and Ford King Ranch. The first thing I’ll mention is that they do an extensive inspection of the vehicle and give you a report about what needs to be done, what will need to be done later, and what is operating as it should. In addition, they provide an estimate for the cost of the repairs. There are no surprises. They do excellent work at a fair price, and their mechanics are all very knowledgeable. I’ve never had anything stump them, even the Mercedes which is a pretty complicated vehicle.In all respects, it is a top-notch operation.Michael M

Came in at 11 am needing a new thermostat installed on my VW and they were able to make an appointment at 2 pm the same day. I got there early and they were able to start early and finish early. Very reasonably priced with quick and reliable works. Definitely recommend!

This is a great place for auto repair / maintenance! The waiting area is very clean and comfortable, with lots of seating and free WiFi. The staff is always able to schedule appointments that worked for my schedule, sometimes even same day. We are a one vehicle household, so its nice to have a car repair place that will transport you after drop-off if needed. They have electronic vehicle health reports which are helpful and easy to understand. Great service, great car care!

Always a great experience. If no one else in town can figure out what’s wrong with your vehicle the owner/ operator (Ray) will. This shop is one of the few places Id trust to work on my Viper. Owner came out to talk to me and go over all of my concerns. They would change all of the fluids, put racing brakes on, and mounted balanced and race aligned the car as well. Always great results and awesome communication. Would always trust them with my other vehicles.

This is the third time Ive taken the car in the last year. The first two I felt were unrelated incidents but this third time was very much related to the expensive AC repair just 3 months ago. I refused the $700 repair because I felt like the it would break again in 3 months.I called to discuss but got only the excuse of.....we cant anticipate what will break after we repair. I wish I could believe that but unfortunately this business lost my trust. I cant spend that kind of money on an AC repsir just to spend more on the AC 3 months later.

With my daughter 4 hours from home and a broke down car, D & R was a life saver!! We took her car to a major dealership and they could not find what the issue was. D & R found the problem in less than an hour. They had the car completely fixed in the time frame promised. Highly recommended, prices were average and not over the top!

We broke down on I-16 two weeks ago. Wrecker got us to D & R just before closing. They said they could not check out car until 11:45 the next day. One if their employees, Taylor, volunteered to stay late to diagnose the problem. They let me know that night that it would take a week to get part and repair. An unexpected repair was needed the day before I was to pick up my car and they could not get the part until a day later than my car was promised. Well, they made a trip to Savannah to get the part so that my car would be ready on time. They went out if their way to help us by picking us up at the hotel and taking us to two car rental places. We were treated like family. They gave us exceptional service and I highly recommend them. Too bad they are not closer for me to use all the time!
