Great Experience working with Nevins. Specifically, Vanessa was extremely helpful in coordinating a new lease, answering all of our questions, and providing information for the apartment. In addition, Matt did a great job with the online room layouts and dimensions. Their electronic systems made all the paperwork extremely easy. I would highly recommend working with Nevins Real Estate Management.

Please either switch internet service providers, or re-negotiate a contract with them, their prices for upgrading to a decent plan on top of what is likely part of my rent is awful. Even for other properties in the area they offer double the speeds for the same price.Switching to a 1 star review after they charged $50 for carpet cleaning after I had the carpet cleaning company send them the receipt for my $100 carpet cleaning bill. They also charged an additional $170 cleaning fee. They also conveniently say at the bottom of the security deposit letter that theyre unable to comment on security deposits by phone, email, or even by walking in. Theyre only able to respond by letter, and they will be getting one from me.Absolutely unacceptable behavior, do not do business with Nevins.

Nevins Real Estate really is the best management company in State College! Ive rented with continental and arpm in the past and they were HORRIBLE!!! Nevins really does care about their tenants and the customer service there is excellent! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Thanks Nevins!!!

I lived at Park Lane Apartments and I truly enjoyed it! They have great management staff who actually help you when you are having any issues and a great maintenance staff that shows up when you call. I highly recommend renting from Nevins Real Estate Management

I lived at The Lofts on Bellaire Ave for 1 year. Cool, spacious apartment as described. Friendly, relaxed staff. They usually asked me if it was OK to perform maintenance at a given date and time, which I really appreciated, especially during COVID. They even reduced rent by $60/month for a few months during COVID without me asking, which is unheard of for any other landlord/REM. Any questions/inquiries would be promptly answered. Never had any major issues. As far as landlords go, Nevins is one of the fairest in State College.

Lived in Cedar Lofts for 3 years. Never had any problems with management, they were always reasonably quick to fix any issues that came up. Plus they didnt steal our security deposit for no reason like a lot of places apparently do.

A refreshing change from my “landlord/REM” from last year. Extremely nice staff. Constant text message updates on maintenance, parking, snow removal so there are no surprises. They also were very understanding when I informed them ahead of time my rent for the month would be a few days late because I am in the process of switching banks. Thank you, Angelique! Hopefully they take over more properties from some of the other companies in town as I am genuinely surprised by the quality of the apartments and service at Nevins.

In State College, its rare to find a rental company that actually cares about their residents. Ive rented from five different companies in my four years here and Nevins is only one of two Id recommend. Their properties are reasonably priced. Last year when we had an issue with a different rental company (Continental) would charge us outrageous amounts to fix issues from their end. Not with this company. They are very quick to resolve any issue you have. In fact, their staff has saved us several hundred dollars alerting us of code violations (cups on the lawn) before we were fined by the borough. As a four-year resident of Penn State, Id highly recommend renting from Nevins.

The folks over at NREM are extremely unhelpful with regards to questions and issues. The staff all around seems as though they dont care. The billing and rent payment system is riddled with issues. These issues have been ongoing for months now and still no fix. Resident privacy is not highly regarded as maintenance and staff will enter without warning at times. I once woke up to a man changing my door knob early in the morning. I was forced to go to class with my door wide open for anyone to take my things. A little warning would suffice. I know in the state of PA there is not requirement for your landlord to notify you prior to entry so expect that to happen a lot if you have a semi decent place. The staff treat my place as a show room in the fall and spring which is incredibly obnoxious. I dont know how, or when, they found my apartment to show it off. In the end, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for an apartment and avoid the stress and headaches from Nevins Real Estate Management.

Staff was always friendly to me and no bogus damage charges at the end of the lease. Would definitely rent from again.

After living in some of the new buildings around Penn State, we have found the best home in The Lofts. Not only are your neighbors kind, but the management alone is worth the 5 star review. Our move in process was incredibly easy and the management met every hiccup with amazing service and kind maintenance. They’re extemely prompt and you can tell Nevins is full of people that genuinely care about their residents. It’s so warming to know the leasing office on a first name basis. They really allow you to feel comfortable in your apartment and encourage that you make it feel like your own. I can’t say enough great things about the apartment, their willingness to help and the kindness they address you with.If you’re looking for a home away from home and helpful management then you will find all the happiness we have in our process here at Nevins!

I really hated living at Waupelani Lofts. I could hear everything that was going on in the apartment above me. At night, while in bed, you could hear the neighbors using the bathroom and every step and word they uttered.I thought management was horrible. They took ridiculously long to fix any issues with the apartment.Save yourself from these guys. There are many great places to rent from in State College. Nevins is not one of them.

Ive only lived in Townview, but the apartments are decent especially given how low rent is. Nevins management is very accommodating too: They were able to help me sort out an auto-billing cycle problem on my end that was costing me hundreds of dollars in late fees with absolutely no hassle. The support and repair staff are also very prompt and efficient. Definitely the most positive relationship Ive had with realtors in State College.

The staff is extremely rude. I had a question about my bill and the lady who answered my question went back and forth with me about why I had a charge and proceeded to yell at me for it. It was a simple question about a small charge but she made it into a big deal. Safe to say I will find someone else to answer my questions throughout the year.

Do not do business with this Management. It was the worst experience ever. They dont give you back your security deposit and they do not care about your privacy. They gave multiple excuses and maintenance always walked in whenever they pleased. Plus the manager Robert is really rude.

Got a fantastic apartment right in town from them. Much friendlier than GN.

4th year living with Nevins and never had any issues! Very relaxed people and easy to work out rent payments with. Maintenance has always been kind and knocked first. Out of the 3 places I have rented with in state college nevins has definitely been the best. Any maintenance requests have been taken care in 1-2 days tops. Would suggest at the Towneview apartments!

Cedar Lofts East set a new standard for terrible housing. Always had problems and they never got fixed. Constantly charged for things that I ultimately did not need to pay for. Very shady billing and business in general.

They dont what has been asked of them even with their written approval

Never again will I rent from the realtor. Horrible communication with anyone and were completely useless if I needed something. Unprofessional and uncaring.
