I liked the meridian a lot. There were some maintenance problems that were handled. But, overall a nice and good priced apartment complex! Would recommend!
My stay at the Meridian was overall a decent experience. I had no complaints until I had to rely on maintenance and management to solve a leaking issue (where the ceiling tile above the shower collapsed a few times, once on the back of my head). After a few weeks and many failed attempts by maintenance, it was only then that management called in a plumber--to which the plumber solved the issue within two hours. The only compensation given to me and my roommates was $20 gift cards each for our inconveniences.
Thank you to the Meridian staff for your impeccable service, and making sure that our speedy move in was a success!
Living at the Meridian thus far has been a great experience. Our apartment is up to date and very nice inside. Its not like most college apartments where you can tell they have been lived in before. Would recommend living here!
I love the Meridian and recommend it to all my friends. It’s a great community and it’s nice that it’s downtown. I don’t think there’s anywhere else I’d rather live
This place is awesome! If i could live anywhere in the whole entire world even if money wasnt a problem, I would pick the meridian 100% of the time! Imagine a mix between a beach front penthouse suite and a Beverly hills mansion. I love this place more than all of the places!
I enjoy living here. It’s close to campus and downtown. The only downside is that the white loop isn’t working so I have a long walk to classes
Such a great place! Perfect price for a college student in State College!
I received advertisement email from them through Penn State email. This probably means they paid Penn State to buy our email addresses for advertisement. Simply for this reason, I do not recommend!
This place is one of the best downtown. I was really happy with my stay here. Great apartment, complex right on the white loop, office staff very friendly. Unlike most places that will tow cars 24/7, the Meridian actually is very reasonable and will leave a note on a car in one of their un-leased parking spots for you to move it. Good luck finding another complex that does that.
My son likes his apartment here
Customer service is sub par, you need to provide your own lighting, you have to pay for almost everything on top of rent. Very happy to not live there anymore. I wouldve given a 0/5 but I am not able to.
The internet here is absolutely horrible. Every show or movie I try to stream looks like a power point presentation.
I have not lived in Meridian, but Ive dealt with their leasing office when trying to re-rent an apartment.Process itself is nerve-wrecking due to many variables, deadlines and uncertainty however my experience was quite pleasant thanks to Samantha D. who was an absolute star throughout this whole ordeal. Not only is Samantha kind, and helpful beyond her scope of duties, she is also very knowledgeable. In a situation where she wasn’t sure, she researched answers to my questions to make sure I get accurate information and got back to me on every single one in a timely manner. The 5 star rating is for Samantha’s superb customer service skills. Thank you!
The Meridian is a great place to live in State College as a student. Its a short walk downtown and theres a Cata stop right outside of Building 3 which is extremely convenient. Its also far enough off campus to come back to after a night out and not worry about constant noise all night.Anytime I had a problem, (whether it was a burnt out light bulb or a broken lock/hinge on my door) there was always someone whod show up and fix it almost immediately - even after hours.Everyone Ive ever dealt with that works at the Meridian made my stay away from home much easier!
Absolutely awful. Not only is it a bad location where you have to cross the busiest street in SC to leave the premises, but the way I was treated at the meridian was absolutely awful. During the summer (while I was living there) the maintenance staff came into my apartment a total of 7 TIMES, to do renovations, such as to replace parts in the bathroom. This is a breech of privacy and I was not okay with this at all. Also, they kick you out of the apartment August 1st (WAY too early imo because I paid for the whole month of August) so why could they not do the renovations during this time? Honestly hated living here. Do not recommend.
Ive entered into several leases with the Meridian and always received prompt and courteous responses from the leasing agents.
Look elsewhere for downtown living. If you intend on getting to class in the morning via the White Loop, youll be dissapointed to find out that its usually already full when it arrives at the Meridian bus stop. Fire alarms frequently go off (for up to an hour at a time) at horrible times. We had a 2am fire alarm on a Tuesday evening that lasted for 45 minutes. The noise is unbearable. Hallways are incredibly loud on the weekends and elevators are typically sticky with beer come Monday.
Worst place to live. location is terrible, and the white loop is always full when it arrives at the stop. the landlords are rude and inconsiderate. theyre nice at first, until after you sign the lease. then they treat you any way that they please. ive heard horror stories about the landlords moving students into more expensive rooms, even after theyve signed the lease. they do verbal agreements over the phone, which are totally illegal. they attempt to force you into rooms that you didnt sign the lease for, just so that they can fill their spaces. terrible, shady business.
The Meridian is my second home and I love it!
Nicer than average apartments, but the location is pretty bad and the price is a bit expensive.
ARPM is obviously evil and conducts price gouging, but the apartment is in itself pretty decent.
