I have been searching for a manicurist in Springfield for the last year, and I finally found the best at sky nails. His name is Henry. If you arent satisfied with your manicurist, or your wanting to get your nails done for the first time and just dont know where to go, give sky nails a call and ask for Henry. Not only does he do nails perfectly, he also does pedicures as well. Trust me you wont be disappointed.

The staff are always so friendly & helpful. They always do a fantastic job, even with the complicated requests I sometimes come with!

This was the worst pedicure I ever had paid $45 They did not put any soaking salts in the water I did not get any scrub no foot massage and they did not scrub the bottom of my feet…I literally left and went across the street to the other nail salon and got another pedicure right away because all he basically did was polish my toes The place is clean but don’t be fooled because they have no experience whatsoever I was going to get my nails done as well and had the most freakish odd shape done to them that I had to have him pull them off…this place is super weird and they have no idea what they’re doing because they’re so busy gossiping with each other. Save your money ladies!

Have given this place multiple chances (my mistake) and my service always seems rushed in order to get onto the next person resulting in sloppy inconsistent work. Products used seem to be very cheap as my dip manicures tend to chip and not last very long. I was also told that the color I chose was too light and had to pick a different one which shows the talent level. Not any better than any other mediocre nail salon in Springfield, definitely not high quality.

I wish I could post a picture of my toe that they cut, not on the edge by a cuticle, but the side of my toe. Not only is my big toe cut, but my feet are rough and the polish doesn’t look much better than if a 5 year old did it. Can’t even go somewhere else to get them fixed until my toe heals. Do not recommend.

I think they are awesome very sweet and kind and place was immaculate besides having pedicures2.would definitely take my family members there!!

First time here and not impressed in the slightest. For one the guy didnt want to do my nails in the color I wanted because I didnt want acrylics. And he just botched the nail polish.. Like I understand missing a little part of the nail. But I feel lile this was just lazy.

The nail techs we were rude, the nails were not straight and lasted less than a week.. Never go back or recommend this to anyone

Yesterday I went to see Jason at Rainbow Nails for a manicure and dip nails. He did nothing that I asked for and proceeded to do things his way when asked about his technique he stated im a professional at the end of the visit my nails were acrilic, thick, uneven and my previous long beautiful nails were cut into stubs. After my visit I called to speak with the owner. Left my name and number for Michelle. At that point I decided to give Sky nails a call. Spoke with Bryan on the phone he was very polite and professional and said to come on in and he would fix my nails. When I arrived I spoke with the staff and I explained what happened and what I had previously asked for and this sweet lady (forgive me I dont remember her name) became a miracle worker on these horrible nails. I highly recommend Sky nails to anyone who is searching. Under No circumstance should you see Jason the professional at Rainbow nails. Thank you Sky Nails for taking the time to fix my nails and handling the situation so professionally.

I went there on a Saturday and the next day, Sunday, two nails had already broken off and now it’s been less than a week and I only have two acrylics left. It’s ridiculous. They come off from the simplest things like petting my dog and they’ve chipped very easily. I paid 75$ for them to last 3 weeks not 3 days

Went with my friends daughter, the price was high, the pedicures amazing, however the woman who did my friends daughters nails was rude and did a rushed job even tho we booked appointments. I had a gentleman named Henry and he was amazing. My nails were slightly crooked which no one but me noticed but for the money they should have been done better. Beautiful job by Henry tho. He impressed me. Also the spa is very clean.

After having the worst 3 nail appointments with my former nail tech at Glam I went back to my OG owners of Rainbow Nails and Sky. This salon is professional, efficient, caring and most importantly dedicated to those clients needs. I was so happy to finally get the service Ive grown accustomed to and receive a full set with spa pedicure. The pricing is great. The staff is amazing and the owner is the sweetest, most detailed nail tech Ive ever had. Youve won over a client for years. Ditching the horrible experience from Glam and moving on to Sky/Rainbow for the quality they provide. Thank you so so much! Note: on any day of the week they do not turn down appointments or walk ins. They are run top notch. Glam will not provide this. They turned away a dedicated client and stated no appointments were being taken after the 1st minute of opening and this isnt the first time. Who does that? Also, the owner showed me a potential fungus created from never replacing my set. She saved my nails and made them look better than ever. PLUS shes the one who taught all these artists. Glam cant keep up. Going back to my true salon and not trying that craziness again. 😚

Jason did my nails and he did a really fantastic job. Nicky (excuse the spelling if I’m wrong) is very nice as well. The owner seemed great too! I think I found my new nail place ❤️ Thank you guys! I’m glad I came in.

Horrible place to go to! Looked like the male techs were uneducated. Once we sat down to do our nails, they filed them and then told us we had to leave and come back tomorrow!

Do not come here unless you are super careful with your nails. I went on a Wednesday, and come Friday one already fell off. They brake and fall off super easy. Not impressed.

Tried going here because it’s a closer drive than my normal nail salon, but wayyyyyyy Overpriced. Rude. Long wait time. I had to tell him how I wanted my nails several times and he said( in a very passive aggressive way),” are you happy now?” Like okay? Maybe Try,” does this look okay?” Or is that better?”Only good thing is that my nails turned out good. They stayed on for two weeks.

I’ve been going to Sky Nails for a few months now. Everyone is very nice. Today though I had Kyleah and she did a fantastic job!!! Not only did she do my nails perfectly how I wanted them but she was so fun to talk to. She asked me several times if they were how I liked them and you could tell she took pride in her work. Great job Kyleah!

Im really annoyed with this place for several reasons, one of which is the guy messed up my nails. I had to wait like 15 min, which is fine, but then a woman came to get me, sat me down and told me to keep my fingers dipped in this liquid for 5 min and then shed be back. 15 min passed by and she did not come back. 20 min passed by, I literally started to get up to just leave when some guy came and sat down. I showed him a pic of the style I wanted and had the colors chosen. Towards the end, I saw hes doing a horrible job with the nail polish and not making it look like the pic (not difficult and have had this done elsewhere). I asked to add more nail polish since he was being cheap with it. He got all annoyed. Then started giving me some lecture in a rude voice that I need to explain beforehand what I want. Ummm I literally showed him a pic and if youre in the nail business, you should know how to create the look. Its just like gradient sparkly polish over another color. Apparently I angered it because and he clearly had some issue with me from the beginning because he rushed the job and when he was done, ran away before I had a chance to inspect my nails. I then realized he left nail polish on my skin and did a horrible job filing. I had to ask another guy to remove the nail polish from the sides and ended up just filing myself at home. So ridiculous! Nasty people, never even tried to be nice to me or smile not even once back at me and just very uncomfortable there. Never again.

This is the third time Ive came to this salon and I would not recommend it to anyone! The first time my nails chipped within 3 days with shellac. So I went back to get it fixed. Then today they had me soaking in pure acetone for over an hour. And did not warn me about that kind of wait. One of the workers even scolded me for taking my hands out for less than 5 minutes after being in there for over 45 minutes. I got an apology today. I just dont want others to have to go through what I had to.

She cut my cuticles on both hands. The nails were way overpriced. And they were flat not round. Like I wanted them. Paid way too much Will not go back there again.

I came to this location because of its high reviews. The customer service was good...the work was not. Im from OK & was visiting family. I cracked a nail so I needed a repair & new color. My nails are uneven, splotchy & I left with polish on my cuticles & fingers. They look a child did them.

Absolutely a Great place!And I’m extremely picky person, so I’m happy to say this is the nail salon I’ll definitely be coming back to and refuring friends and family too.Wonderful employees and happy energy all around. We had are nails done by Nikky and she’s simply amazing!!

Absolutely the worse mani/pedi I have EVER had. I didn’t say anything to her but I will NEVER go back. I very seldom treat myself and this was a huge disappointment. Also used tools between customers without cleaning. I am a nurse and this really grossed me out.

I took my 4 year old for a mommy/daughter mani. Of course she was a little hard to work on, but the 2 who had us did an amazing job! Our nails turned out great too :)

I would have rather put negative 5 stars. Me and some friends went into this establishment and they started getting worked on as soon as I sat down I waited a good 10 minutes to get work done and I was finished before they were done and before the one that was even getting their toes painted done the man was acting like he had some more better else to be I sat in the chair for 20 minutes done and while sitting there waiting for my toes to dry he sprayed a solution is charted trying to clean underneath my legs acting like I was bothering him do not go here I go to plenty of nail places and Ive never been treated this way and I never thought I would be disrespected at a nail salon

Friendly nail technicians with quality work!

Ive been going to Brian and Michelle for about 8 years and the service in their nail salons is fantastic! I had gone to their other location until they opened Sky which is closer to me now. Both Sky and Rainbow have a great professional atmosphere, and always make you feel at home.

They were clean, professional, friendly & knowledgeable. I will definitly be coming back next time I am in Springfield! I would highly recommend it :)

They were friendly & did a great mani/pedi! Also, they thoroughly cleaned all the chairs, cabinets, etc while I was there - impressed!

Excellent service

Interior design is great. They were able to fit me in on a busy day without an appt. The nail technician talked me into getting my nails dipped rather than my usual acrylic. He dipped my nails into a container that everyone else had their nails dipped in previously. My finger is now infected. Ive had my nails done with acrylic for 20 years. Never a problem. One session with this dip and I have an infection on my finger. I wo t be doing this again. At least not here. Sorry.

I always get in and out quickly, love the acrylic dip! The owner Brian fixed a few broken nails I had. Enjoyed talking with him.

I had the worst experience I have Ever experienced! The guy was very hateful a.d disrespectful from The start. I noticed my nails were longer than I like, I asked him to cut them down, he just looked at me like I was crazy and continued on. Not even an hour later my gel polish is already PEELING OFF! The women seemed to friendly though. Will not recommend this place not even for my friends dogs!!.

Very spacious - not cramped like a lot of other salons. A ton of color pallets to choose from and a very friendly staff

The staff are pleasant and the place is clean. I go to Tiffany for shellac manicures and she is great - shes fast and my nails always look perfect when shes done.

They do a awesome job. Unless they are busy and your black. No one was available for my appointment. I was then shuffled around to 3 different people. By the time I realized they werent doing what I asked I had been there 2 hours and my nails were hurting and looked worse than when I got there. Of course I was a upset at this point and the manager just kept telling me to be quiet. Then tried leaving my nails nasty and frail. I demanded he do what I asked. He did so very rudely and I had to ice my fingers all night. he finally told me the wax specialist wasnt even there so I couldnt have completed my appointment to begin with. And the most offensive part of all was after being a regular customer to this place I was the only person asked to pay upfront the entire 3 hours I was there. I dont appeaciate racial profiling at places I spend my hard earned money. I hope others do not either.

My nails hurt after going here, never have been in this much pain after getting my nails done. I can not put any pressure on them and they are very on even and my hangnail was in my nail. worst place i have ever been too.

They let me leave like this… went to another salon and they gave me a perfect pedi. Went back to Sky nails and they said they could fix it but I was not comfortable ever letting them touch my feet again after doing this to them. They would not give me refund. Do not go here!!! I also know that the two men take tip money from the women there…heard them talking about it, which makes me uncomfy. I have had good experiences there with Susan, this was done by a male at the salon.

A friend of my daughters went there yesterday. It looked like they painted her toenails in a car traveling at high speed on a gravel road!! Would not give her a refund!
