I went to get a full set today and the lady doing my nails was extremely rough with my hands and cut one of my fingers. my nail design i wanted was extremely simple but somehow she made it look like a child did them.

Kim did a fantastic job!!! She was friendly and made sure I liked my nails as she was doing them. I just got a a full set done with french tip. I also got some waxing. She was nice and distracted me while waxing since it doesnt feel great 😂😂. The other staff were friendly. My boyfriend got a pedicure and said she was friendly and professional. Will definitely be going back more often.

I accidentally cut my big toes to short prior to my suprises pedicure my gf took me too. (my dude did a great job on my short nails)The assigned professional to me must have been busy elsewhere, I sat waiting with feet in water and gf 1/2 done before I was even started. There were at least 3 workers not appearing to be busy but walking about.Not knowing when Id be started left me a little miffed. Customer service could have been more genuine over all.

My nails look good however the gentleman/owner and the reception staff are not friendly and the massage for my pedicure lasted about 30 seconds

Al is amazing, the owner seems like he hovers over his employees as they work. Rushing them.Making an appointment is useless, Ive waited up to 50 minutes after my appointment time twice.

I normally dont get my eyebrows or anything waxed. I did in my 20’s but not so much anymore. I am getting married in 2 days and at the last minute I decided to go have my eyebrows and lip waxed. My normal salon didnt have an appt for yesterday so I looked elsewhere and ended up at Soak. They were very busy. This was not a covid low staff situation - every station had people working. So I wait for 30 min (not complaining since i didnt have an appt) i finally get put in a dirty recliner in a back room. I wait another 15 min in that chair. The woman finally flys in the door says “lay back” and starts cutting up paper strips. Never introduced herself. Then she started. It was extremely painful first of all. She was not gentle in the slightest (maybe i am spoiled from having good waxers in the past) the lady even made a comment about how red my face was getting. I even had tears in my eyes because it hurt so bad. Normal waxing is just uncomfortable but this hurt. As im leaving the receptionist literally said “oh my goodness are you having an allergic reaction” I said “i hope not, i never have before” anyways. The redness ended up going away. When i got home i had to clean the excess wax off of my face that she has left there. I even had cotton ball stuck to some of it! So i kept feeling something was off but i thought maybe its just because its so smooth that it feels weird. We are traveling for our wedding so we have been on the road since i left that appt. not a whole lot of mirror time until this morning. SHE DID A TERRIBLE JOB! I still have straw eye brow hairs between my eyes and my lip is like not waxed at all… and i am not like an overly hairy person either, i just like to keep things smooth. So much for getting waxed before my wedding! I will not go back! I am thanking god I got my nails done the night before at Dao Nails - im mad at myself for not thinking of the waxing that might.

Took my granddaughters for there 5th bday we made a appt. And when we arrived they said we didnt tell them we had 2 kids. I said yes we did. 2 adults and 2 children. Well we had to wait 45 more mins with 2, 5 yr olds.When we finally got ready to sit down. The timing of the girls was way off of me and my DIL.so the girls were already starting to act up. Being in there for almost 3 hours was ridiculous. I was not happy. I spent over 120 dollars and the girls polish lasted about 1 hour. I wont be going back.

It was very noticeable that the guy had no idea what he was doing. Tore at my toes with the clippers. Then followed the lead of the woman next to him because he didnt know what to do. Water was cold, he didnt scrub, and his nail polish application was terrible. Worst pedi ive gotten in my 33 years.

The place is nice, but the nail technician that worked on me was horrible. He did a great job on my feet, but my nails... It’s only been a week and I have a nail that broke off, my cuticles look horrible. I had to tell him how to file and style my nails more than once. It’s the worse experience I’ve had so far here in Springfield

If I could give it 0 stars I would!! She redid my acrylics 5 times!!! AND IT WAS STILL MESSED UP!!!! Poor customer service, they were talking trash about me and the people that were around me! I was supposed to get matte and she messed it up sooo bad! IM NEVER EVER GOING BACK!!!!!

The ladies who did my mani/pedi were awesome!!! Very nice and very easy to work with! I didnt know exact colors/design I wanted and they were awesome about me taking my time. Then, I changed my mind before she started my toe colors and she was so awesome about it! I love my mani/pedi!

Super bad My friend got blue for her toes in a Pedicure and She messed them up walking over to the dryer and the lady said she’d fix them. She comes back over and layers on a stripe of polish that looks horrible. Also they didn’t put top coats on them

Our appointment was for 5:15. We were not called back until 6:20 and then waited another 10 minutes before anyone came to us. My daughters bookbag was on the floor and the chair next to her leaked and soaked her bag ruining a book and journal. It was a frustrating appointment and we received no apology. We will not be back.

First time here. Brought my friend here for her birthday, and we both got pedis. They did a marvelous job! The facility was clean, spacious, and lovely. Both Jen and Liz were so sweet and professional. Would definitely recommend and plan to come back again.

This place is really hit and miss. I’ve been going here for years and sometimes my shellac manicure lasts for 2 months and sometimes it lasts only a few days before peeling, and chipping off, which is really irritating when you spend 30 dollars to get your nails done only to have it chip and peel 2 days later, especially when they say it should last a month. It’s a nice place and they get you in quickly even when they’re swamped.

Made an appointment 3 days in advance with ellie. Was on time. Told them I had an appt with ellie upon check in and when they tried to have another male employee do my nails i repeated I had an appt with ellie and when they tried to have another female employee do my nails I said AGAIN I have an appt with ellie. Someone who came in after me went to ellie. They asked again who I was waiting for and I stated ellie for a 10:45 appt by this time it is 11:15 and they forced me to go with an older female employee who did a terrible job. The dip nails were pitted and she messed up the thumb and tried to fix it but then gave up. They charged me for an appt they DID NOT honor and charged me more than I normally pay with ellie. When I stated I wanted a refund they said they voided the transaction. The owner sent me a pic of their computer screen saying it was voided. But it was NEVER voided. After many angry phone calls to the owners and repeatedly being told it was voided. I had to take extra time to go to the bank for a fraudulent charge. The owners of Soak are crooks and liars. The nails all look horrible unless you get one of two employees that take pride and care in their work. The rest are worthless. The owners are rude and unprofessional. There are soooooo many nail places in Springfield...I would recommend going elsewhere!

Just got my acrylics filled here. This is my first time here and fourth time getting my nails done and I think they did a great job. They looked perfect and they really paid attention to detail and got me exactly what I wanted.

I recently went to Soak to get a simple manicure regular polish. I sat down and she started to file my nails done as if I were getting acrylics then when I stopped her she just started painting over my nails which had just been filled and had dust all over them without any previous care. Now after the fact they look as if I had had them a week because my cuticals had not been pushed back they also now have bumps from the filing. Overall I will never come back.

I heard lots of good things about this place so I decided to get my nails filled here. I’ve had acrylics for over 2 years. Got them done here they looked amazing then 3 days later a whole nail just popped right off. Of course I’ve had nails pop off before or brake but never 3 days after I had gotten them filled. Also around that same time my gel polish started to lift & peel off in a large chunk so I didn’t have any polish on my nails. I went back to have them fix it & they fixed it for free which was nice but the guy that put on the new nail was REALLY heavy on the acrylic powder gel stuff & my nail looked awful & huge!!! I ended up losing all my nails by the end of that week from them popping off. I decided to go back & get a different tech just to see if it would happen again. I’ve had these on for a little over 4 days & one completely just popped off. I really like the salon & the friendly nail techs but wouldn’t recommend this place for acrylic nails or gel.

My wife and family could talked me into getting a pedicure and what a great time we had. The people here are so nice my feet never looked so good. The polish on my wifes feet are still there for months later just like the day they were first put on.

I have mixed feelings so I will share both of my experiences.Lets start with the pedicure. I had Tom who was an older gentleman who didnt speak a lot of English but literally the best pedicure Ive ever had in my life. He was kind and I got the tired feet and legs package and he spent 20 minutes massaging my legs and it was amazing! Not only was a massage great, but the pedicure itself was pretty good. He always made sure I was comfortable and he work really hard on my calluses until he was satisfied. Not to say that I have terrible feet but Im a runner and work on my feet and you get some bad calluses sometimes. I would definitely go back for a pedicure because again, it was amazing!Now on to the manicure.. The manicure was subpar. The nail tech was a younger woman. Ive had many manicures and pedicures and Im very particular about how theyre done. I feel like if they use the electric nail file on my nails take off nail polish, that thats super lazy and damaging to my nails which are already thin and brittle from acrylics. Not only did she use an electric nail file to take off my nail polish, but also to remove my cuticles which was painful. And again, I have thin nails so using an electric nail file on them is also painful. Other than that, she didnt do any work on my nails except nail polish. I wanted to try the day so I got that for the first time which I would do again just not here. Then the guy next to her told her that the color that she was using needed three dips because it came out spotty if she didnt. They argued about it. She asked me what I thought, and I told her that whatever she thought was necessary because Ive never done it before. So angrily she did three dips and then was unhappy with the final outcome and again use the electric nail file to shave down the Polish until she was satisfied. There was no lotion or massage. I was never asked to wash my hands or anything.I always tip but really Tom was the only one that deserve that. Id go back for a pedicure, but find somewhere else for a manicure. Which means I probably wont go back because I like to get both done in the same day. Unfortunate.

I really love my toe nails after doing spa pedicure here. Look at them, so clean and beautiful. They got real artists here who can give incredibly beautiful design. The color is so shiny and I can’t find any cuticle left around the toe nails. The salon is large and quiet, the thing that attract me here is their salon smells so fresh, not like other salons with heavy acetone smell.  The staffs are friendly and of course, very professional. I always feel relax when coming here and feel confident to get whatever service because I believe in their job. This salon is recommended.

When I pointed out that the color on my shellac nails did not match the sample I chose, I was told oh the sample must be faded. No apology or offer to fix it. My manicurist also cut my cuticles to the point where two different fingers were bleeding. I will not be back.

Both my husband and I went to get pedicures together. I love the color I chose but they dont really give your feet the attention they need. I told the tech what I needed and he kept asking which type of pedicure I wanted. I know what I want when I go in so why do you ask me 3 times the same question.

So I went to this salon about 8 days ago. My best friend and I had just gotten done with an art show and decided to use the extra money we got to get our nails done. The people weren’t rude but they were very quiet. When I showed the lady what I wanted she didn’t seem to understand it, then when I asked her if she was going to do the shape I wanted she laughed. All of my nails were uneven and poorly done. There were bubbles and dips everywhere in the polish. I can absolutely say I won’t return

I got a French manicure. It looks great! I recently moved to Springfield and have been hoping to find a good nail spa. This is the one that I will be going to! I had a good experience here and look forward to my weekly manicures with Soak Nails.

Its hard for me to say enough about my good friends a Soak Nails. To start, the people who work here are so friendly. Also, the quality of their work is really good. Im always happy with how my nails look when I leave and early chipping is rare. They do a particularly thorough job with pedicures.Ill come back again!!

Was disappointed in my nails. He got them done quickly but after looking closely at then Im different light they are very uneven with dips in them. Just passing through town so unable to go back and have them fixed.

Walked in for nails and a pedicure and walked out in less than 2 hrs. Very polite, wonderful job, attention to detail!! Would highly recommend them.

Mary did a wonderful job on my manicure. Shes skillful, friendly, has good customer service. The place is clean and well decorated... One of the best around here!

It’s my first time in Soak. I just got simple manicure “regular polish” done two days ago & now my nail polish starts chipping. usually when I do the regular manicure it lasts five to seven days!!!

My nails came out really well and the counter staff is friendly but the girl who did them did not speak much English so she barely spoke to me. Also, this place uses a drill on natural nails and uses the same file from person to person. I know this is a common practice but it seems like an easy way to get an infection in a tiny cut. They did a good job but I wont be going back.

My nails ended up coming out fine, but at check out, they told me the wrong amount after they had swiped my card, so I just counted it as my tip. But after checking my bank account later, they charged me over $30 more than what my total should have been. Even though they did a good job on my nails, I will probably be taking my business elsewhere after all this.

With so many great reviews i decided to try it myself. I had a manicure and pedicure done and it was awesome. This is my new go to nail spot. Cant wait to go back and get spoiled.

This place used to be my go to until today. Their service has just gone downhill. The woman working on my nails didnt understand what I was saying. I told her I wanted a point and she gave me coffin. When I corrected her she gave me the thinnest, most misshapened nails Ive ever seen. Ive been having issues with them giving me the shape Ive wanted since my first appointment. The only decent employee Ive had is Jan. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT ANYTHING SPECIFIC. Plus, they charged me more than usual.

Got a mani pedi with my friend. Since we were not paying for anything special we got minimal service. They didnt even smooth out the tops of my nails during the manicure or do the massaging. Worst manicure Ive ever had. The guy also didnt use the scrub brush to get the dead skin off my feet. Will not be going back. Oh and my nails were uneven to boot. I filed them when I got home to make them even.

Paid extra for acrylic nails only for them to pop off 2 days later. When I called and asked to speak with the owner about the situation, I was hung up on. I called back for a second time telling them what had happened and was told by the owner, they would call me back. I never received the call. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I got the classic mani/pedi last weekend for my bridal shower. I opted for regular nail polish instead of the shellac. They did a wonderful job! I was especially pleased by the pedi, it was the most relaxing and best pedi Ive ever had! I definitely plan to go back soon.

Best mani/pedi in Springfield, without a doubt. Conveniently located on the west side, the atmosphere is very pleasant & clean, technicians are friendly, and the prices are super reasonable. Why would you go anywhere else?
