Great staff. I lived in the St. Nick for over three years. Its moderately priced and a nice location. Upon leaving i made sure the apartment was clean and received 90% of my security deposit back, which was fair. They are fair and not sketchy at all like some posters have said. Though it is true Kit doesnt return phonecalls he is still a nice guy.

Been renting from them for almost a year, theyre very nice and apartments are very tidy and fresh looking. They have good maintenance and excellent customer service.

DO NOT MOVE HERE I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE. If your a hour late on rent 40 dollars no grace period at all they dont care. Some of the most sketchiest people i have ever encountered in my life. I honestly believe 90 percent of the staff is on drugs. I cant wait till my lease is up. 0 stars for this place.

Worst place to stay,rent is due promptly on the 1st no grace period. And kit- supposedly the manager will NEVER return your phone call. I have lived here for two years I have called him maybe 3x and I have never received a call back. the staff is extremely sketchy. NOT AT ALL A GOOD PLACE FOR STUDENTS!!Update- So I rented here from August 2015 to August 2017. When my lease was on the verge of being up I started getting calls from the main office, I think the lady’s name was hope or faith or something like that. I was paying $420 when I had the student discount. When I graduated I started paying $445.. so anyways I started getting letters and voicemails saying I’m paying the wrong amount on rent and that I should be paying $500... and they only started calling me in July 2017.. I informed her that she was wrong and that nobody else I knew was paying that much for a 1 bedroom in that complex which I knew because several people from UIS were living there. She insisted that they were paying that and that I’m the only one paying $445. And when I informed her the mistake was on her end and not on me, she called the police on me. I called Kit to tell him about his employee never received a phone call back or even an apology. I was able to move out at the end of my lease but not with out hope being spiteful. She went back through my payment history and charged late fees for my rent if I didn’t pay promptly on the first.

The worst rental experience no grace even if you been there over a year. Not allowed to contact landlord but the person in the office power trips with constant threats of starting the eviction process even after multiple attempts to work things out. They also expect you to pay an attorney fee if they start the eviction process that never would and should not begin if tenant pays rent with late fee.

Bad all around!! Do not rent from them crack heads they will say you didnt pay when u know for a fact you did on time. Super Slum lords...

Can’t get a hold of a real person, not resolving a complaint, Staff are often discourteous and sometimes downright rude. Do not move here. If you share your concerns all they can answer is we are sorry, but we cannot do anything about it. Before you commit to a lease think twice or suffer for length of your stay.

Didn’t have consistent hot water for 6 months, company didn’t care and lied repeatedly about fixing it, I have picture proof and messages of uninhabitable Living situation they put me in they falsify cleaning charges when you move out even though they broke lease agreement by not fixing broken water systems they treat you terrible and not like a tenant
