I lived here for about a year and a half. My daughters bike was stolen multiple times. The windows didnt open, I had to prop them open with something. There was mold in my townhome which I contacted the office about it but they refused to do anything. The shower door (which was a sliding door at the time) fell on my daughter while she was taking a shower. The place is horribly kept and I didnt feel safe whatsoever. My stuff was constantly stolen/missing. The air conditioning/heater wouldnt work I would have to buy a heater for the winter time just so my kids and I didnt freeze to death. There was bugs everywhere no matter the season, theyd come from the walls and through the door. Save yourself the trouble and dont move here.
I lived here for about 3 years. Had 3 different owners first owners was good. The maintenance guy at that time, was always fixing everything on time. But the owners was scamming people that wasn’t getting their receipts. The second owners wasn’t fixing nothing and was unorganized. The last && current owners are really good. I wish I didn’t have to depart, they were so helpful. Robin tried move me && my kids into a new apartment. That was remodel until I moved out of state. I just didn’t want to pack twice, so I stayed in my old apartment. But Robin gave me the keys to the new one && I had it until I moved out. Just in case I every wanted to move in it. Anything I needed fixed while I stayed in my apartment the office manager Robin was on it. She is so sweet && went above and beyond to help me with anything. Before I left they was knocking down everything. New everything it is really coming alone I know it’s going to look really nice. If I didn’t have to move out of state I’ll still be there, &’ if I move back I’ll be hitting up Robin. She works really hard to make sure you have everything you need. Them apartments was terrible and dead. Robin and her crew is bringing them back to live. You want regret it now if you move there. I wish she was their from the beginning. They are far out and everything is by the apartments. I loved that when my car broke down I was able to walk anywhere with my kids to get what I need. The bus stop is right in front of the apartments. The apartments has always been quiet since I been living there && safe.
Great met new people and gotta visit with my brother.
Me and my girlfriend moved in recently and the place is very nice. Newly renovated and very comfy flooring with nice paint on the walls to match the trimThe issues Ive had have been very minimal and promptly resolved. The new management take the property and its condition seriously but are also equally courteous and respectful to the tenants.Months before I moved I heard this place had gone downhill and it was but when I heard new management was in I decided to give it a try and it was well worth it! Me and my. Girlfriend both are Very satisfied.
Was basically made to be put on the street after SIGNING MY LEASE because management was too ‘busy’ to notice my unit was leaking from the roof.. I was told I couldn’t move in literally A WEEK before my move in date and they had no sympathy or anything to say for themselves.. why couldn’t I be notified earlier? Do you not check your units before trying to con people into purchasing? I’m so glad I didn’t give this place my money.. I’m waiting on my $100 for a hold fee to be refunded to me.. and based on other people’s reviews, this place is a complete dump and I’m glad this all happened so I wouldn’t have to pay for a trash place of an apartment.. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! IT IS A SCAM!!!
My wife and I moved here almost a year ago and we have been very pleased. We havent had any major issues and any problems we did have were taken care of swiftly. I also really like the neighbors we have. They are are very friendly.
I dont understand all of the negative reviews on here. I have lived here for several years and have never had an issue. The girls in the office are great and the maintenance crew is so helpful. I would 100% refer my friends and family to live here. Its close to west side shopping and all of the downtown entertainment.
Poor maintenance. Nothing gets done in a timely manner.
If you love paint peeling from your walls and ceilings, busted appliances and water damage for the price of a decent apartment on the west side of town this is the place to go. Do not consider living here if you dont like to play games or want to live in an apartment where it takes forever for things to get fixed. The owners are stingy and will not get things fixed in a timely manner. Also, they will try to nickle and dime you for hundreds of extra dollars for no reason. For the price they charge for rent it is easier to go over to the west side of town or near the outskirts of town and get a much nicer apartment.
Seems like everyone I know starts out there time in Springfield in these apartments, although their stays arent long. Easy to understand given some of the other tenants. The staff is great at the main office, but the apartments leave a bit to be desired.
If I could give this place fewer stars than one I would. If you take any advice this year, hear this: DO NOT MOVE IN. They will say whatever it takes to get you to move in and then screw you. The office staff and maintenance is an actual joke. The place is horribly maintained, the work is shoddy, and the people are inattentive. They will continually promise new management and improvements, and they dont come. They dont care about you, the units, or their reputation, obviously. Units smell like weed, old cigarettes, and mold, and the police are here often on disturbances, so if you feel like being unsafe, unhealthy, and frustrated, as well as embarrassed that this is where you live, than this is the place for you.
The new employees who run the place now are very understanding, Im extremely happy with the new staff than the old staff. They were left with the clean up and they are doing the best they can to recover and continue to make the place better
Worst place to live in Springfield! I constantly had issues with neighbors. Had to call cops on multiple occasions due to harassment from random people looking for someone to buy drugs from. The buildings were never cleaned and were always filthy. My average electric bill was about $200! And I would have it set at 76 in the summer and 55 in the winter. The first month I moved in I had fleas and come from a pet free home to begin with. They told me I would be living in a second floor apartment with carpet...then I get told Im in the basement level and it is all hardwood floor that is peeling apart and is dirty and not clean in ANY way. THEN when they move me to another apartment, the carpet was SOPPING wet for over a week! No screens on ANY windows and wouldnt replace them. Broken fridge and stove. Rooms were never repainted and were FILTHY! The bathroom was DISGUSTING and the toilet was broken. THEN after 8 months and summer comes around, I keep fans going all the time to keep air circulating. MOLD begins to grow on ALL of my cabinets AND the walls!!!! It took them 5 days to send someone out to clean it. By then I had done it. It would come back every 7 days. I have been sick for 4 months because of it and they would do NOTHING about it. Once they fired the old manager, he never left a thing on file saying I was having these issues! I lost ALL of my furniture and most of my clothing and my mattress due to the mold and they refused to pay saying that is what insurance is for.DO NOT LIVE HERE! LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE! I REGRET EVER PAYING TO LIVE IN SUCH A WASTE!
Nice apartments to start off when you’re young and the ladies in the office is helpful.
Its ok not a bad place and Im not Charles liers
The bldg manager is lazy and she is never in the office. When she is there she avoids taking calls. So u gotta go in to see what she doing about all the problems your apartment has and she lies just to get you to leave. Apts have no air and she gives the run around about getting it fixed. I believe she is on drugs. She always acting weird. The owners need to get new managers before they get sued
My son just moved from this place. I would give a negative 100 review. My son literally had sewer and feces backed up in his tub on 3 different occasions!!
I love this place. My roommate and I have a town house here and they just got new management and they are always there to listen to a complaint etc. We had our dishwasher break and the maintence was there the next day! I have a cat and they dont have flea issues. Just gotta make sure you dont bring them in etc. If you have a bug problem they bring exterminators now! Very proud of this place. Yes there are a few sketchy people but the workers are revamping this area. Thats why its 4 stars but other than that very proud of this place. Oh they also are letting us paint our place etc.
These are run down. The reason the dumpsters all look like that is because they have bedbugs. The living conditions are awful and they dont respond to fix. ALSO THEIR POOL HASNT OPENED IN YEARS DONT LET THAT SELL YOU ON THE PLACE!!
The apartment complex never had maintenance done, the hallways were dark and dirty. The apartment also had fleas, on multiple occasions when I complained I was told that my dog probably brought them in.Now that I moved out they are trying to harass me for more money. Will NOT be recommending this to anyone, will likely tell people that ANYwhere else although it may cost more will be a better investment then this dump.
Please think twice before moving into this apartment complex. I moved to Springfield for a job, and had a hard time finding a place that accepted two dogs, and this place seemed more than willing, and showed me a decent unit. When I came to move in, they put me in a bottom floor unit, which the ceiling was so low, you felt like you lived in a box. Secondly, I had a normal size couch, nothing big, and it wouldnt fit into the living room because of the bottom floor apartment layout. I called and asked for help, and their response was, Well, some people pull out the windows to move them in, we cant help because its against policy. After two months of living here, the apartment above mine was raided by the SWAT team for having a drug dealer living there. On top of this, the place is infested with fleas. I had two dogs whom I constantly had to treat, and bathe every week, even though they were on flea prevention from the vet. I know others who had dogs in the building complained about the same thing. Furthermore, my AC and heating unit stopped working, so they came in and pulled out the entire ceiling, and left it that way for more than a week. So I was literally staring up into spider webs and the floor above mine. Then, they did not come in and put a new ceiling up, they put up old tiles, and never re-painted. Lastly, overnight, the floor in my apartment split apart. They told me the apartments were pre-fab, and were sealed together like legos, so the floor was coming apart at the joints, AWESOME! Super safe, right? I couldnt wait to get out of there, and actually they found some sucker to move in and take over my lease. Please, please, please, I know it is cheap, but do not move in here. Echoing further statements above, the electricity bill was astronomical. The windows are not energy efficient, and the heating and cooling is from the 70s. My bills were always up in the 100.00s, and Id freeze with the breeze coming in through the windows. Just be smart, and look for other options.
Moved in in January. By June my AC was broke but they couldnt find anything wrong with my AC unit. I had to go buy my own to keep my cat from overheating, apt got up to 90 degrees. Lease states that broken AC is not an emergency, so it didnt matter how much I complained. When the people below me with carpet got a bed bug infestation (so they said) and that they wouldnt fix it because pest control is the lessees problem to fix as per the lease, I gave up. I paid almost 2k to break my lease early (lease states you must pay 3mo rent to break), I was out of there. Left the AC unit for the next poor soul that moved in. Try the apartments on Boysenberry Lane, much, much better!!!!
Great central location but grossly overpriced. Outdated housing. Not the best customer service by any means. Good luck if something breaks. Would recommend looking elsewhere.
Our townhome at this location was spacious enough but our power bill averaged $450 a month. Needless to say its better off getting an actual home for this cost. When I talked to the management about this they said no other people have mentioned it but when I called CWLP they told me the previous tenants and other people from this complex have reported the issue. Other than that I dont really have a problem with the neighbors, most everyone keeps to themselves. The maintenance guys are nice enough, and the office people are willing to work with you if you have reasonable issues. Look at your doors when you move in, lots of them have rotted wood that can easily be kicked in (and youre not on the best side of town). Also being pet friendly the complex is consistently infested with flees. Still treating our pets since we moved out.Edit: the office and maintenance staff that was nice has ALL been let go for some reason. Now the place is run by people who have no idea what their doing.
The apartments are under new management. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
This is literally the worst place you will live. Electric bill started out in the low hundreds all year, then BOOM $425. The front office had no explanation. The people in the apartment above me moved out and left water running and it dripped on my furnace. They never sent anyone out to fix it. If its really cold out, the temp in my apartment doesnt go over 63. Then they turn off all heat in an apartment when no one lives there. So basically Im paying for heat to move up into the empty apartment above me. Dont move here. You will regret it and its horrible. Its always dirty and theyre always trying to nickel and dime you. Rent goes up EVERY year. 660 for a two bedroom in this place is absolutely ridiculous. It constantly smells like weed, people play loud music. its horrible you will regret it if you move here
Went there to view the apartments as they had an open house sign up as well as a sign saying they had a swimming pool. I went there and they were closed for the day. Also their swimming pool has apparently been closed all season. They should not be advertising amenities that they currently do not offer.
Love my apartment, and the ladies in the office are wonderful!
The place is dirty it seems dangerous at night
