I waited some time for the apartment to be cleaned and ready prior to move in. There were several maintenance concerns at the time I moved in. Due to COVID and probably short staffing, it was difficult to get some things addressed right away. After talking with the property management company, they’re working hard to accommodate me. I have mobility issues and a service dog to assist me with those. I initially thought I had applied for a second or first floor unit. I found out it was on the third floor and tried to make it work but my conditions are making it harder than I expected. The staff is doing their best to help during a very stressful time. I was able to move into a second floor apartment that worked out better for me. Maintenance has been working hard to catch up.
These apartments and hallways are filled with black mold and roaches. They never would have a professional exterminator come in and anything they have to fix they do the bare minimum. Constant water leaking down walls into apartment and hallways. This place should be torn down. The hallways have puddles 90% of the time. Homeless people sleep in the hallways and under the stairs. Neighbors are mostly addicts. Sad place to live.
My Boys and I moved into this property and have nothing but great things to say about the transition. There were very minor technical problems that the maintenance staff corrected same day, which is a blessing. The Management, Melanie and Sally have been very patient, responsive and helpful to all my requests. The area itself is a little dated, but quaint and I barely hear my neighbors. I really appreciate the help and attentive workmanship of the maintenance staff and management.
We lived on the third floor. We didnt have any problems with management or maintenance. The apartment manager, Sally, is an awesome person. Our problem was our neighbors under us decided that we couldnt walk on the our floor any time day or night. Always banging on their ceiling every time we walked across our floor. Calling the attending manager complaining many times. They called one of their police buddies (no report mentioned of someone coming to the apartment at that time) on us one time (6 p.m.) because my handicap daughter accidentally dropped a bag of potatoes on the floor. I dont think they were used to living in an apartment building. They caused us so much anxiety that we had to leave. I am sure thats what happened to the last tenants too. I have never had a problem living under anyone. Never had a problem, before them, living over anyone. Its a fact of life in an apartment building if you live under someone.
I lived here for 8 years and Ive had my disagreements with the management, Ive had my differences with maintenance. But all in all its not a bad place to live. I never had any gas stolen. And I never got robed. I enjoyed my time there.
Back when I was living there, the management was much more responsive than most places, but the maintenance aspect was a disaster. My partner and I were living in a base level 1 bed apartment, and the bedroom had a very serious mold issue. It took quite a bit of time for the problem to have been taken care of, mostly (from what I gather) because of higher up maintenance stalling things. When it was finally taken care of, it was actually pretty great! They finally got management at the building itself (not just at the Chardonnay) which was a strong need.
I lived there for a year and a half and my apartment was burglarized by maintenance. Im a photographer and maintenance man stole all my camera equipment and management did nothing about that or the other 3 times my apartment was broke into. Dont move in here its full of losers manafement sucks
The maintenance guys can and will walk into your apartment without notice or knocking they barged in on my girfriend in the shower and when we asked them to knock next time or please call they screamed in our face and made life hell till we moved by trying to get my car towed not accepting my checks and harrasing phone calls weekly I advise anyone to be cautious
