At the beginning of April we received a factory recall notice for our 2006 Ford Fusion requiring us to take our car to a Ford dealer to replace the braking system master cylinder. The letter indicated this was a serious issue that should not be delayed because there was a known risk that the master cylinder would fail and potentially result in an accident. So we called Planet Ford Humble where we bought the car to set up a service appointment. They investigated the availability of the replacement parts and informed us that it could be months before they could obtain the required parts. We were requested to call back in a month or simply bring the car in and let it sit there until the parts came in. OK ... thats not gonna work. So we then called Planet Ford Spring who confirmed the parts were available but they could not give us a service appointment for nearly two weeks. Well, thats not great but at least we can move forward. So we set an appointment date and confirmed with the service rep that he could get the parts. He put us on hold and returned to confirm that the parts were available. They would need two days to complete the recall work. We called the day before the service appointment and were told they had the parts. Great. So we brought the car in, again got confirmation that they had the parts and left the car with them. We called back in two days and were told they needed a third day. (They never called us.) We called on the third day and were told that the parts were not available and that we should come and pick up our car and wait for the parts to come in and schedule an appointment at that time. This is simply unprofessional treatment of the customer. A total disregard for the customers time and money. Disrespect at its core. The service department manager should be fired and a customer centric professional should be engaged. And if that is not possible, this service department should absolutely go out of business. There has to be a better Ford service department in Houston. I for one will begin my online search and I will drive to the dealership that truly cares about its service customers.

If I could give them a -5 I would. This service department is the absolute worse I have ever dealt with. I purchased a new limited 2020 Explorer in May 2020. Within the first three months it was on a flatbread being towed to the service department. It has been taken in 5 times in one year for recalls and warranty issues. That’s not my biggest issue. My problem is the customer service I receive from the service reps. Jessica needs to find a new occupation dealing with customers that don’t keep text messages and notes to refer back to when she continues to lie. Especially the ones promising to call at 8 am with status and I finally called at 11 am to find out why she had not called. The messages telling me my vehicle was finally ready only for me to show up and be told that they didn’t complete all the warranty work and I would need to bring it back. Literally if lightning hit this vehicle and it burned to the ground I would celebrate because I no longer have to deal with Jessica and Planet Fords service department.

I Sent my 08 Ford Mustang GT in for A/C work and after a week they said they found the issue and made the repairs. I drove it off the lot and not an hour later this same issue I sent it in for was happening again so I brought it back. This time they gave me a loaner while my car was being looked at. After 3 weeks they finally decide my AC compressor needed replacing since it was the only non ford part due to the first shop that couldnt fix my car replaced it. Why does it take 3 weeks to finally say you need all Ford parts for a proper diagnosis when you could have said that day one. 2 weeks later I finally email upper management complaining whats the update on my car since they havent told me anything in weeks. All of a sudden the part that was relayed to me as in stock apparently took 2 weeks to ship and showed up the day upper management finally got onto the service department. They finally say my car is working again so I take it off the lot again and after 3 hours of driving it the SAME issue is happening yet again. 5 weeks in total and around $1600 in repairs on parts that DIDNT fix my issue. I do not reccomend Planet Ford Service department because apparently a 2008 Ford Mustang Gt is to complicated to fix.

Called this morning about an ongoing issue with Jerky drivability that I had not had the time to address until today. While the entire service staff at this dealership is great, I had the pleasure of dealing with Jessica when I called this morning and asked about scheduling the maintenance needed on the drive shaft to correct the issue.Jessica was a delight to speak to on the phone, she was up beat and has a great sense of humor all while being extremely knowledgeable about what was going on with my truck. Jessica was able to get me in sameday this morning and had me out the door completed in about an hour as promised.If you need anything from Randall Reed Fords service department in Spring, Jessica is your go to girl!

For being such a high profile sales force their service stinks. Currently just to get a quote is a week at best, no loaners, Even Under warranty. And then expect 2-3 months to get work done, while they have your car sitting on their property. Cant get it and return when they do work as then you are out of order. So guess who could be driving your car while it sits!!!

A very Professional Service Advisor, Dave, set a date for me to bring my vehicle in for a Recall. Dave made sure my time was set to correspond with Shuttle Drivers returning from early morning drop offs of the people going to work. I was driven to my Home, along with 3 other passengers, in a vehicle with 6 separate seats, vehicle had been wiped down and cleaned from last shuttle run. Dave had told me going in that service would be 2-3 days to accomplish needed repairs. 2nd day I did in fact receive a phone call that my vehicle had been repaired and Vehicle Inspection completed. I asked at that time if it would be possible for my vehicle to be ran through their car wash. Bought my 2015 explorer sport there in March. Everything was great. Great salesman. Vehicle started leaking inside from a rain storm last Friday, October 9th. Had two to three inches of water in the passenger floor board. They finally diagnosed it as clogged sunroof drains today, 6 days later. I had a scheduled appointment Tuesday the 13th and it still took that long. First Lady in the service dept was really rude and said they wouldnt be able to look at it for 10 days. I told her I had an appointment already and she told me another service person could help me. I asked the new service person if someone could at least vacuum the standing water for me. She said yes.. They did not even bother to vacuum the water out. Its been just sitting in the front floor board for 6 days. So I go back today after they quote me $829.30 for the repair and I said no thanks. I brought it to my mechanic and he made the repair in less than 10 minutes and charged me a fee of $20. I called the service person and the phone just kept ringing so I called the salesman and he gave me the service managers number. I have called him 4 times in the last 4 hours with no answer or return call.Update after a weekHavent heard anything regarding there poor service. In my mind they could care less about customer service. Guess I will be going elsewhere when I buy new vehicles.

The service advisor, Chris who was assigned to my car after the person who was initially assigned left was great. He kept me updated on my car and got it fixed quickly along with J.C. Shultis the Service Drive Manager who went above and beyond my expectations to help me as well after having my car there for 4 days and not being looked at. I appreciate everything from both of them and will recommend this place for anything that needs to be done on your Ford. Ill be back too.

Although both the sales and body shop have historically been great the service department lacks customer service and compassion.My car was towed Monday night. On Tuesday they called to confirm they had it but had not gotten to it yet. When I asked for an estimated time I was told a few days. I called to check on the status Friday and was told that not only had it not even been assigned a technician but also I mean I told you it would be a few days. Who is able to have their car taken for a week with no end in sight?There were no calls/updates unless I called. Each time was as if I were bothering them.In the end I had my car towed somewhere else and its been worked on (within the hour of arriving.)

I am completely satisfied with the service I received from the service center. I spoke with Jess a few times over the phone and she offered nothing but friendly service and patience and informative answers to my questions. I also met the tech who did the work on my Ford Fiesta and drove home feeling safe knowing my car is back in order. Thank goodness for warranties. My repair was covered at no cost out of my pocket. Look forward to working with them in the future.

My boyfriend bought me a 2018 mustang on February 28 2020 from Planet Ford. At the time of purchase there where issues with the vehicle. They made a i owe you ticket for the vehicle. I took the vehicle back and at the time of taking it there where some more issues. I expressed those issues to the service gentleman. He assured me everything was fixed but told me the new issues i spoke of where noticed during there inspection. Now it’s 6/26/20 and my car is back in the shop and the previous issues have been diagnosed and fixed. This is ridiculous that i had to take my vehicle to another ford dealership. They have accessed the issue and taken care of it and have been very helpful. If you want great service experience do not go to PLANET FORD. They will do a rush job and not take care of your vehicle. Now when it comes to the sale team there great but not the service.

Honestly Pablo is who you want to work with. I purchased a 2020 Ford F-150 this year and I started off with the ABSOLUTE worst experience. My sales guy was horrendous and no one wanted to acknowledge the problems. Pablo in service has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for me. I will continue to take my vehicles here but only to him. He communicates well and answers any and all my questions. He is super friendly and definitely deserves a promotion.

I have made the mistake of using Plant Fords Service Center 3 times now. I will never use them again. The first time was when my car was hit by a pizza delivery guy and needed a new front fender. They installed the fender just fine but they shorted out the electrical system and it took 3 weeks to get the car back. Then when I picked it up the radio didnt work and unknown to me all the lights on the dash, drivers door controls and the steering wheel controls (cruise, radio, etc) didnt work. They fixed the radio right away as I noticed it when I started the car but they never fixed the lights and denied any responsibility for them.The next time I took my car to them was just this summer when the A/C wasnt working properly. They charged me $600 to replace a control module. The repair seemed to work for all of two weeks. But again they had the car just sitting on the lot well over a week before diagnosing the issue and then look almost another week to fix it. But of course they hadnt truely fixed anything. They simply replaced a module that wasnt problem anyway as the issue came right back.They seem to engage in the RnR method of repair. Meaning they just remove and replace things until the problem eventually goes away or you get tired of them having your car for longer then you have it.But, since the problem had not been fixed I took it back to them. And again, after 5 days of sitting on their lot I finally get someone to answer the phone to talk to me about the issue. And what do I get, I get the oh, the technician just finished diagnosing the car standard line of BS and get told there is a new leak in a line by the compressor and a different control module inside the dash is bad so it will be $1000.00 to fix it.Really? This place reaks of violations of the TxDTPA. I would not recommend even my worst enemy to go to this place.

I cant in good conscience give this place a 5 star rating.Ill start with the good. Crystal Pate is an excellent service advisor. She is honest, straightforward, and when other reps have either made bad promises about when to come in, or saying that loaner cars are at least a 3 week wait, she has fulfilled 100% of her commitments to me. Cannot recommend her enough.Now the bad. One visit, I was told that a repair would be under warranty by my advisor, but it ended up costing me over $1500 instead. More recently, I was told to bring my vehicle in on a Saturday morning at 6:30am because Saturdays are first come, first serve. Spoiler alert: they arent. Crystal saved the day for me and scheduled an appointment with a loaner vehicle. Just this week, I had to have something repaired under warranty and I called in and talked to someone there who told me their fleet of loaners was booked up for at least 3 weeks, took my number and said hed call me when he could schedule the service. Later that day, I called Crystal and had an appointment for 2 weeks later (not 3+) and today my vehicles repair was completed.Too many bad experiences for a 5 star rating, but I would go back in a second for Crystals service.

I made an appointment to have the DEATH WOBBLE fixed on my 2017 F-250. I was asked Monday to bring it in Wednesday, leave it over night and they would fix it Thursday or Friday. When I arrived the lady told me that these parts were not available, and would not be for sometime but i was welcome to make another appoint somewhere else.I made the appointment, drove an hour there, and had to drive an hour back to NOT get my truck fixed. all it would have taken was a phone call to save me Two and a half hours. Not impressed with the lack of service or that ladies attitude.i will take my business elsewhere!!! that includes the Buying of My next vehicle. thanks but no thanks

My F150 needed an alignment. My first thought was to take it to a FORD dealership. Makes sense, right? Well I called Planet Ford to ask about pricing and warranty. The price was what a typical alignment usually cost. I then asked how long the warranty was for and I was told 1 day. I had to ask him again because that didnt make any sense. They are a FORD dealership but they dont warranty their work?!?!? Blew my mind! Went next door to Firestone and got an alignment for the same price WITH a 12 MONTH WARRANTY. SMH....

Ive never had a problem with this service department until this year. I bought a new F150 in 2018 and recently had a leaking sunroof. I first got a new sunroof assembly in February from this dealership because of the water leak. They basically dismantled my trucks interior, while leaving several wires exposed from my center console, and leaving the consoles power outlets non-functional. My sunroof now doesnt leak, but also doesnt open all the way and got stuck in the open position until I turned the truck off and back on.The first time in the shop, I had to retrieve my truck after hours from the service department due to my work schedule, and even though I was told I could pick it up after hours, nobody dropped my keys off to the front desk as they said they would, so had to leave that day without my truck.The next day, I had to call twice to make sure my keys were available for pick up after hours. Tried to schedule another appointment for them to fix my console power outlets, and I get a call the day before my appointment telling me there are no loaner vehicles available and that there may be one the following week.I rescheduled, and Im now hoping my appointment doesnt get canceled and that my repairs are done properly.I will never buy another Ford, and if I could, I would use another Ford dealership. Because my aftermarket features were done by planet Ford, I am stuck using this dealership for repairs.

We scheduled an appointment a few days ahead to get a recall addressed and to do a general diagnostic. No work was done on day one, and then I was told it would take several days as different departments would have to work on the car. Even after telling the service counselor we were now under a time crunch, no additional effort was made to try and expedite the work. From the explanations, the service counselor had no sway to influence, nor interest in helping influence, the machine (aka the dispatcher) to help us. Although the warranty work was done, we now have to take the car elsewhere to finish the work. It felt like they have gotten too big to provide personalized customer care.

Purchased over 180K worth of vehicles last year from this dealership and have had nothing but issues dealing with the service department. Everything that has been damaged on the vehicles were covered under the Ford warranty but the technicians never fixed the issues the correct way. Three times I have been here for my sun roof not closing once’s it’s open but now they are saying the sun roof isn’t damaged after it sat here for 7 days untouched. They just don’t want to mess with the sun roof anymore. My wife’s a/c stopped working in her SUV and after 2 weeks we got the car back and the A/C still didn’t work. Had to turn around and give them the car back for another week. Buy a ford somewhere else. Also, when I got my truck back it had bird poop on the seat

I went to Randalls Reed Planet Ford Humble to have my vehicle serviced, (oil change, tires rotated, cabin and engine air filter changed). I get my car back drive home and notice that there is a screw on my floor on the passenger side. I called the dealership ask to speak with the service manager and I made an appointment to bring my car back to have them show me where the screw was left off and of course to fix it. INSTEAD, of Todd the service manager doing as I asked allowing for me to see my vehicle being repaired he parks it behind a wall and by the time I walk around to my vehicle it is Miraculously FIXED. No pictures taken of what was supposedly fix, it was just fixed. PLEASE BE REALLY CAREFUL WITH DEALING WITH THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Called Randall Reid service two weeks ago and described that my 2017 F250 has a very violent front end shake (AKA Death rattle!) This can cause a driver to lose control and flip the vehicle. The service adviser informed me that I was not alone and that their dealership had ordered 1400 sets of front end dampeners because Ford was aware of the problem. So I show up for my appointment two weeks later and the service adviser tells me it will take 3 days to look at my truck and that the parts are still not in (on back order). I have a small business and have provided Ford trucks to my employees. I guess more people have to die from this issue to make it an emergency- (should be a recall).I forgot to mention that I scheduled a person to pick me up, that I pull a travel trailer and was planning to go out of town this weekend. I left very disappointed with my truck. I will try another dealership and see if they give me the run around as well! Time to think about GMC or Chevy.

Ford is an amazing brand that stands be hind their product. Unfortunately, their name is at the mercy of surrounding dealerships that can tarnish the experience. In my case, I just wanted to be one who received what was promised. My service advisor on both service dates either lied or just has no communication skills in trying to keep the customer aware of the status. The first visit I was told that my truck would be ready @ noon I had to wait until6:30 P.M. to be told that I needed to bring it back because the part was not available and it would take (2) weeks. Two weeks later upon arrival of the part, I brought the truck in on Friday morning @ 9:30 as requested. I was told that the truck would be ready in (2) hours and no later than noon. I called @ 2:30 and spoke to another service advisor requesting the status of my vehicle and was told that I would get a call within 30 minutes well that did not happen. I called again @ 5:30 to hear all the excuses and apologies of how busy they were, but that my vehicle is just now being finished. Again, I know that businesses get tied up and have unpreventable circumstances, but lack of communication is terrible customer service

He has outstanding customer service, He went behind to help us, but best of all he cared and wanted to see us happy. We drove the truck home and are very happy. I also own a Lexus, Mercedes SL550, Honda, Nissan, and a Hyundai, Im in the market for a Bentley Flying Spur, and a diesel truck, anything but Ford.. I have and maintain a lot of cars.Ive been trying to get my wifes Ford Explorer serviced there for around 3 weeks. I have been on hold for you now for 16 minutes and 47 seconds and have spoke to Crystal who seemed irritated with me when I explained that I need to speak to you, but put me through to Pablo. I did my best to explain to Crystal that my communicating with you would prevent me from lodging a formal complaint with Ford. I explained to Pablo that I needed to speak to you and Im back on hold. 19 min 55 seconds. No one will take a message for you or put a phone call to you. Your service department cannot be reached by phone and will not return a phone call. How can anyone possibly think this is functional communication compatible with doing business? 22 min 24 seconds now on hold.We dropped our car off on approx 12/6/19 for a recall and some basic repairs. We were on our way out on vacation and did not need the car for the next ten days. After a few days, we received a call, while in Hawaii, explaining that we needed a few front end repairs, and mototr mounts. He gave me a cost on the front end repairs, but indicated he would have to call me again to inform me how much the mounts would cost. I authorized the repairs that he could inform me of the cost, and chose to wait until I heard back from him to make a decision on the mounts. He did not return my call to inform me how much motor mounts cost. I did get a message that the Explorer is repaired and the total costs. I tried for 2-3 days to reach Pable on his cell, his private line, and the dealer 800 number leaving messages to discover which repairs had been completed and did it include the motor mounts.I have been on hold for you now for 29 minutes and 38 seconds and no one will pick up to leave you a message.I arranged for my son to pick up the car in our absence and discovered after I returned to Texas that the engine mounts were not repaired. I tried to reach Pablo by leaving messages for several days, calling through to desk, cell and direct. I explained to a guy on 12/23 that Ive been leaving him messages and he explained he was due back from lunch and he would personally ask him to call me back. I called his cell phone on 12/23/19 at least 6 times in 15 minute intervals until he finally answered it. He said he would have to call me back to inform me what it would take to repair the motor mounts. and guess what. He did not return the phone call.I have now been on hold for you for 36 minutes 30 seconds and I am extremely confident that I am the source of humor for a staff watching the line blink on and off.Well, here we are. Im still trying to spend good American money at Planet Ford, but they are just too busy to accept it. I had my car there for nearly a week. What else can I do?C.C. I bring my Ford Explorer 2019 to check it at the service department on planet Ford spring I had some issue air condition it wasn’t working well . We scheduled appointment and after a day I got the report.I been told that two pieces need to be replace. We bought the two prices and I asked them to change it they told me this is not the issue with your car and they told me if you need to find out what’s wrong with your car we need to run your car on the test again and charge you again.They try to take advantage over me and I believe they are doing this with everybody I don’t recommend this company to any one the employees very rude as well the managers .👎👎👎👎

Go to Planet Ford 45 and see Bill Lynch. I have purchased 5 vehicles over the past 4 years with 3 of them being from Planet Ford 45. My most recent purchase was a 2016 Ford Mustang GT. I love the car and the entire sales experience at Planet Ford 45. I found the whole Planet Ford team from sales, to accessories and finance to be very professional and helpful.I do want to personally thank my salesman, Bill Lynch. In one word, AWESOME! He is friendly, knowledgeable about all vehicles and efficient with the process. Bill didnt push any one vehicle model. He gave me sound advice and helped me to determine the best vehicle for my needs and budget. He contacted me after the sale to see if he could help me in any way.My advice is to go to Planet Ford on I45 and see Bill Lynch. I will definitely do that on all my new or used vehicle purchases.

I already sang their praises when I got my new Escape. But now!!! My mothers 2002 (yes, it was that old) ranger finally gave out yesterday.I called Terrance and he got her set up with financing, even went and picked her up from her house! All of the people that work there were very friendly and more than willing to help with any questions I may have had. Eric Cooper is the salesman that took care of all my questions and was extremely patient. Eric and I discussed many different vehicles within a two-week period, and when I finally made my purchase I was very happy not only with the vehicle but the price of the vehicle was amazing. Worst service shop ever. Called Monday to schedule a service. Provided a diagnostic code. Told me they were booked solid. I said id take it to another dealership he said come in first thing Wednesday at 6:30 a.m and they would take care of it of it that day.Drop off truck first thing Wednesday, didnt hear from them all day. Called them up at 3pm and my rep said they hadnt even looked at it.

My experience at Planet Ford 45 was unreal. I’ve been to many car dealerships in my life and have never had had a car purchase run that smooth. I wasn’t pressured into a vehicle even once. Never rushed. The sales associate, Myles Arceneaux, has to be the most professional sales associate I have ever dealt with at a dealership. Very knowledgeable and extremely patient. I went in for one car and hours later, ended up choosing a different car.Once I made my choice on the car, Myles must’ve put up a good fight for me In the managers’ office because once the manager, Vada I believe, came out to speak with me regarding price, she was very easy going, professional, and open to negotiate. Myles made sure to find and apply every incentive they had and that I was eligible for. I usually go into dealerships with my guard up as they tend to try their hardest to get the highest price possible on a vehicle. That doesn’t apply here. Great price.The finance office is where I expected the problems to arise. I felt the sales experience was too easy and had to be a front. It, to my surprise, the issues never came. The finance manager, Chad Jennings, went through every add on available in detail and what add one were necessary. I had a few hundred questions as I’ve had bad experiences with add one and getting misinformation when signing on. He had this desk sized tablet where all of the details were laid out in front of me. Everything about the finance experience was transparent. No hidden fees. No pressure. As soon as we were done after closing time due to me taking my time choosing s vehicle, Myles was still sitting in the waiting area to ensure everything went smoothly for me. My wife and I walked out of the dealership still in question about what exactly happened. No arguing or hard negotiations. The whole experience was unreal. I have already recommended multiple associates and coworkers to go to Myles and Planet Ford 45. Not sure if they went but, I will definitely be a returning customer just because of the level of buying experience.

Great experience overall, in and out in 3.5 hrs (which is a very solid number for a new vehicle purchase). Not too much trouble negotiating the price to what we were looking for, literally made a better deal than anywhere else in the US (I looked extensively before making the 1.5 hr trip), very happy customers! When time comes for another vehicle purchase, we will keep Planet Ford Spring in mind.

I just purchased my second 2018 Ford vehicle and the experience was great. Being a large volume dealership did not take away from the personal one on one buying experience. Dave Webb and Dave Sherman (sales and finance) were super nice and did not try to blow sunshi..... well you know what I mean. I was able to do a majority of the paperwork remotely so the in house time was drastically reduced. If I could, I would trade in my truck and drive off with my 3rd vehicle (truck) from Planet Ford in Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke to the service department two weeks ago to bring one of my Explorers in for recall service on rear suspension toe links. This was scheduled for this morning at 6:30am, and I called yesterday to confirm. When we brought it in this morning we were told that the parts were available. Wasted 30 miles round trip on gas, and my wifes and my time.This is my wifes Explorer and I bought an Explorer from Planet Ford last June. I would expect more, or at least a call. Now I have to check back on my own to see when parts might be in, nobody offered to call me when parts are in stock. Very disappointed.
