I was very pleasantly surprised by their staff! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by almost every employee. Their manager is amazing. He may appear young but he is extremely well informed. Although I didnt have any work done today, I would most certainly consider giving them my business in the future! They have a great team & their staff is very well educated!

Had to get brakes looked at, oil change and battery cleaning. They gave great recommendations of what needed fixed and more importantly what was still in good condition. Cody my service consultant did an excellent job going over each recommended repair. Love that they are able to shuttle me home and pick me up.

Do not go to caliber at all. My husband and I took our new used truck there (haven’t even made the first payment) for some fluid maintenance. Not even 400 miles later my husband is stuck on the side of the road. His engine is destroyed because a bolt “somehow” got in his engine. Caliber won’t own up to it and now we are out 13,000 dollars for a new engine. This place was much better when they were service first. They actually cared. Now they destroy things and find a way to say it’s not their fault one bit. I am a frontline nurse that just wanted to get something nice for my husband and I after the past year and a half and they ruined it. And not after refusing to pay for it when I pick it up to take it to Ford to pay out of my pocket they drained our new battery so I will have to pay for a new one of that as well. Worst company ever. Please never use them.

I took my 2014 F150 to Caliber Auto Care after Planet Ford told me I had to make an appointment to get my vehicle repaired. I had the serpentine belt changed, water pump replaced and coolant systems flushed. They used genuine Motorcraft replacement parts instead of after market parts which I prefer. I was quoted a price any they stuck to it even after they replaced some additional gaskets. Dylan constantly kept me up to date on my vehicle until the repairs were completed. He even showed me the water pump and I had no doubt it needed to be replaced. I will not hesitate to take my vehicle to them in the future.

I had a great experience getting an oil change, tire rotation. Joshua was very nice & professional, the shop also stays cleans because of him! Would recommend this location and to ask for Joshua, every time.

This was my first time here since the name change, and a lot more has changed than just the name. First it was my fault for not finding out how much more time the extra services were going to take, but I feel like before they would have been proactive and given me that information. Anyway 3 hours later my car is finally ready and everything is great except the greasy handprints all over the dash and door of my car. Also, in the past, I really looked forward to the complimentary car wash. Will I be back? Probably. Will I recommend? Maybe, but not as enthusiastically as I have in the past.

I took my vehicle to Caliber Auto Care At Louetta and Ella to get a new battery. My vehicle was taken back into the shop area very quickly, and not many other customers were waiting. After waiting inside for over an hour and a half, I asked an employee what was taking so long. The employee told me they would go find out. Within the next few minutes another employee comes up to me with an ipad to show me recommendations they have for my vehicle. This employee also informs me that my check engine light is on and that they recommend doing a diagnostic. I inform this employee that my check engine light was not on when I brought the vehicle in. They tell me that they will have it checked out. A short time later my vehicle is brought out of the shop with no check engine light on and is ready to go. No one ever gave a reason for the check engine light being on. I have been to this location in the past when it was still Service First and have noticed they try to upsell their customers. I will never step foot in this place again.

I have used Caliber Auto Care for the last four or five years after I had a bad experience with dishonesty at the Honda dealership automotive department. I do all of my maintenance with them because I trust them. They let me know when my car needs an oil change and when the fluids and filters need replacement. They take pictures of my engine and fluid levels and send it to me in a report. In the last three months I have taken my 11 year old car on a three thousand mile road trip and a four thousand mile road trip. Before each trip, Caliber did a road trip check for me. I just returned from the last road trip and my brake lights had gone out toward the end of the trip. I took my car to Caliber today and they replaced the burnt out bulbs and sent me home without charging me for the repair. As a female, I appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of the front office workers and the mechanics. I have always felt like I was treated fairly and they keep my car running smoothly.

I went to the Buick dealership and they quoted me an outrageous price. I worked at a dealership in Utah and knew the repair for fixing my starter would be $700 if they did the work. So I went in and told the, that and they got me pretty close to that price. They were pleasant and kind and even got me a ride. Charles, the shuttle driver was extremely kind and welcoming and I’m so thankful for such a good experience in my first week in Texas.

Awful service. Two hour wait for an oil change WITH an appointment. Every time an update was requested, 10 minutes was the automatic response. Complete disregard for timeliness or customer care. Had the wait time been communicated at the onset of the appointment other arrangements could have been made.

Took it in for AC diagnostic. 6 weeks later, I’m 1000 miles away from home and my AC stopped blowing cold again. They basically told me there wasn’t anything they could do about it and my best bet is to take it somewhere near me and start over. Basically I paid $130 for zero answers and no reliable follow up assistance. Poor quality service IMO.

I’ve visited this location 5 times. In the most recent visit I was returning to get an expensive service done that had been diagnosed by multiple independent mechanics. The service representative, Dylan, received my vehicle and arranged for a shuttle to take me home. Once home, Dylan called and said he has contacted Nissan for the needed part but also wondered if this was covered under a recall. Dylan continued doing research and investigation which led him to a very long phone call with Nissan Corporate where he found that there was a warranty on our vehicle (we purchased used and this was not disclosed to us at purchase). Dylan directed us to contact the closest dealership and get the repair done there as the warranty would cover it and there would be no out of pocket.This business went out of their way to save me money (over $800) on a service that they could have easily done. There was no monetary benefit to Caliber for Dylan to go out of his way, spend his time to help me out. The ultimate benefit to Caliber is they have EARNED a customer for life. Their services are wide ranging and I expect that they will handle my needs exceptionally well.

I visited this location November 2019. The service I went in for was my brakes, they were making a squeaking sound. I informed the desk representative of this and he told me they would take a look and see what the issue was. Eventually he came back to inform me that, yes, the brakes need to me changed but also the rotor would need replacement. I gave permission to complete brakes and rotor (front). This cost me nearly $400.00.Needless to say March 2020 the car began the same issue with the squeaking and this time shimmering when I reach a certain speed. So I had to visit home (Louisiana) and had another place look at it and to my surprise pure disappointment the front rotors WERE NEVER CHANGED, I repeat THE FRONT ROTORS WERE NEVER CHANGED. This is only 3 months after the work was supposedly done. The Rotors were rusted and old no sign that they were changed at all. Oh and by the way I see the name have changed so hopefully the people have changed and no one else will have to go through this. They may feel as though they got away with getting my money and not providing me with the services I paid for, BUT GOD SITS HIGH AND LOOKS LOW HE SEES AND KNOW EVERYTHING AND THEY WILL HAVE TO ANSWER TO HIM.

So far this place has exceeded my expectations on both my gas and diesel truck.

I’m sorry to say, this is not the same top-notch facility as the former, Service First Automotive. There have been lots of small issues that would have never occurred under the previous name.

Their waiting area is nice, they offer great coffee, water and hot chocolate and play area for kids. They give free carwash each time..oh and they actually call you back when they say they will :)

Dude, this is the coolest automotive center in Houston. On Dec 16th at 6pm they are giving a free car to a disabled veteran. Cool man! - Check out the Starbucks machine. It has coffee and hot chocolate. Plus they have iPads to keep the kids busy.

I visited Caliber Auto Care on Feb. 12 for an oil change. The service took over an hour to perform despite only one other customer in the waiting area. I guess the lengthy service time can be attributed to Caliber Auto Care performing a thorough inspection of my vehicle. Thank you for letting me know my tires and wipers are in good shape, that my vehicle could use a new air filter, that the coolant reservoir is low, and that the CV joints appear to be leaking.It would have been nice if someone had bothered to check whether or not the oil drain plug was tight during this prolonged check of my vehicle. Luckily, I noticed a puddle of oil in my garage and found that the drain plug was loose and easily turned using just my fingers.I understand mistakes can happen, but I will not be returning to Caliber Auto Care to perform any of the work they recommended. I do not have confidence in a shop appears to be more concerned with finding additional work to perform on my vehicle than actually performing the requested job competently.

Let’s start with the good- oil change,tire rotation & vehicle inspection were good. Was told it would be 1.5 hours and it took over 3.5 hours. They said we will call you when we finish, nope I had to call them. Get in my vehicle and wheel lock key is no where to be found. Go back inside and they take the vehicle back around for 10 minutes to find it. Guess after a few years of ups and downs it’s time to find a new auto service place.

Incredibly, within one hour I was safely home and my vehicle was at First Service.I go well out of my way to go to this Service First location and I have always been happy with the service.Also they have the best coffee of anyone!

Ill write an in-depth review when I have the time to do so but needless to say there are many other auto repair shops that I would go to first before I would even consider going to Caliber auto care.

Service under Andrews direction has always been outstanding. Technicians do not reset your settings back to their original setting but that is in your owners manual if you dont know how to do it. I have used service service since they opened and have yet to not be totally satisfied with the quality of work and the workmanship.

Been going to this particular Service First Automotive location for quite a long time and keep coming back. You wont find a nicer group of people at every point of contact in the shop. Super clean, spacious waiting room with television, free WiFi, cold water, coffee and charging stations. Kids play area too. Reliable, fast, honest service. Today was extra busy and I needed an inspection, they had my car in and out of there in about 10 minutes or so. Went to pay and the counter people were all with customers and a lady asked if I had gotten an inspection and I said yes. She motioned me towards the door and said Go ahead, its fine. Everyone is busy. Basically I got a free inspection because they were busy. Another reason why I always recommend Service First, and why I keep coming back. You guys ROCK because you truly do care! Thank you.

I used this place for the first time. I did not want to sit in the waiting room for health reasons for myself (and others). They were kind and respected my choice. I was not given any push back. I sat in my chair and did college homework while they did oil change. They were professional. All who worked on my car. The total time from start to when I drove away was 45 min. They reviewed everything. Made sure I understood maintance of my vehicle and there was communication and they were professional. I could tell they were tired. It was getting busy. I was good to see the employees laugh a few times. It would bring their spirits up as if to say we got this. Or.hey just checking on you.Management please acknowledge your workers. They are truly representing you well.

I went to have my Service First to have my State Inspection completed. i didnt realize but my hood was not working at all so the technicians had a bit of work on their hands.... I interacted primarily with Matt on any repairs who always kept me updated on the repairs needed to get my hood working and getting my car in shape in order to pass Inspection. I am VERY impressed with the customer focus and professionalism of Matt and others at Service First. I couldnt have asked for better service. Thanks much Service First and if I have any other issues I will come back.... keep up the great work!

After a faulty repair I was very upset and addressed the issue with the manager.He verified all facts and without hesitation admitted to their mistake.On top of that he went way and beyond to repair my car correctly under warranty.He also took me to work and picked me up as the repair was quite extensive.It is a company that takes great pride in their work and owns up to their mistakes.I highly recommend them and am happy that the issue was resolved amicably and respectfully.

It was close, so I used it for an oil change.Great looking place. Very friendly and see.s to be well informed staff. But the UPSELL is crazy . Tertiary services are silly overpriced.Probably wont go for anything more than a convenient and more informed oil change.

After taking it to two other mechanics that tried to fix issue with AC not working. Brought it to Service Fist and the Rep Dylan Freebold was extremely helpful. His team took the time to diagnose the problem and got the problem fixed. we have been driving the car for about 3 days so far and AC is blowing ICE cold. With the Texas heat being at the peak, having no AC was unbearable. Once there they went thru the whole car and found a few other issues that needed to be addressed. They got it all fixed and so far so good.

This place is great!!! I love coming here for all my parts. Everyone is always friendly and the people that work there seem to really love their jobs. Great customer service!!

Took my vehicle in for a solution to a coolant leak since they had advertised to me, a returning customer, about a free diagnostic. After 1 day I was given an estimate of $4,300 worth of repairs. Employee did not follow up by phone as promised. I showed up the next day and in order to get my keys back I was forced to pay $120. Lesson learned. My business lost. Caveat emptor.

I have spent sometime with Service First and my service advisor Connor Koy getting my lemon fixed. I feel good about my experience and I know that Connor is trustworthy and caring. He insured that I was completely satisfied with the service rendered. I recommend him/Service First highly.

**beware** I paid for a tire rotation. I did not ask for a tire rotation. I asked for an oil change and an inspection. MY TIRES WERE NOT ROTATED. Ive posted this review several times and somehow it stops showing up after a few months. I unsubscribed from their mailing list however I periodically get emails from them. I would not trust this company. The manager called me and asked what it would take to get a better review. I told him to stop scamming people.

Ive been coming to Service First for about 8 years when it first opened. New business name (Caliber) now, so I called up Caliber this afternoon, spoke to a young woman about getting an oil change, tune up. I asked about Saturday morning, she said they dont have any appointments, then we discussed Friday afternoon (today). She said let me speak to one of our advisors about this and can you hold please. A few minutes later another person gets on the line and speaks to me, asking me what it is Im looking for. The guy has no idea who I am and I HATE having to repeat everything all over again and request appointments. Sorry, call me old fashioned and fuddy duddy but I just took this as very unprofessional and kind of a waste of my time. If youre going to put me on hold and tell me youre going to ask one of your advisors about any appointment availability and then expecting me to, for a 2nd time, repeat everything that I was requesting, then... no thank you. Ill take my business elsewhere.

My wife recently passed away at the Texas Medical Center I have been caretaking her for quite some time without driving and now I had to get vehicle out of storage get it inspected registered lots of questions because I just did not know where to start. I talked with Marvin and he answered every question and guided me on how to go about this business at hand and the challenges with this particular vehicle. He was so nice and supportive informative and professional and all that stuff you often dont run across. I would trust this guy to run any business as a representative manager upper manager or even corporate because he possesses all the qualities you want to make a companys mission statement true and authentic!!!

They are prompt in repairs to a high quality. My most recent visit required some pricey repairs. I was given options and able to pick those ones that were the most effective and advice on what to pursue at a later date when I can afford the rest of the repairs.Also I had quite the problem with pollen stuck quite well to the paint. A chore I wasnt looking forward to due to just leaving the hospital after having major surgery. Unknown to me they cleaned the vehicle free of charge with instructions on what to do to further protect the paint.They never fail to impress me with their service and I ask that if you need vehicle service to give them the chance to impress you too.

I went for a state inspection a couple days ago and I was so blown away by the incredible customer service! Everybody goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and when I left one of the employees went out of her way to hold the door for me since I had my daughter with me. Service was prompt and you get a complimentary car wash. We will definitely be returning for any and all are car needs.

These guys might be not be the absolute rock-bottom price youll find for auto repair, but the work they do is legit. Brought my Jurassic Park Jeep TJ in for a new clutch, and Adam was very straight and super nice about everything. Once they took a look at it, their assessment was in total agreement with mine, and they had it done in only one day. My out-the-door cost was not a surprise, matching up almost exactly to the quote. In fact, I saved $100 off the initial quote, because there was one part that didnt need to be replaced. Really glad I brought it to them vs doing it myself, now that I see how great it shifts now. Their hours make it pretty easy to get in and out after work, and the customer waiting area is nicer than probably any that Ive seen. I might could have saved a bit of money shopping around other places, but theres something to be said for dealing with a nice, non-shady shop that will just do it right and move on. #SparedNoExpense

Took my truck there to fix a break pedal issue and they worked with me to explain what was going on with it and how to fix it. Price was fair, definitely cheaper than other places. Roman was the associate I spent most of my time with, he is super personable and explains things well. Even when I was unsure of any aspect of my experience, he made sure things were right for me. They dont come off as condescending like other mechanics around here and they do their best to make sure you leave with the results you want. I want to make sure I give a really great review!I used these guys to help do alignments for both my cars. They did a great job on both my cars. Then I also ask them for help when my engine blew up. They did a great job of evaluating my car giving me a good estimate all for a reasonable price.Later one of my cars had a fuel pump issue. I was able to take it to these guys to get them to fix it. After they fixed it drove it around for a day or so and then it had a problem. Notice that the part was no good. I sent it back to them they were able to take care of everything no issues ans no cost to me.These guys are top notch! Highly recommend anybody looking for a good mechanic! Price might be a little higher but the quality is definitely worth every penny

Myself and my partner had broken down at a nearby petrol station due to a problem with the starter motor on our truck which we had recently purchased. We managed to get to the nearest repair shop which was Service First, however it was near closing time. We were met by Dylan, who after explaining that we had just vacated our accomodation and had no alternative transport, he done everything he could and managed to get us back on the road in no time so we could continue our travels. Crooks are who work here!!! I went in for an inspection and was told that my tires had dry rot?! Took it over to discount tire and was told that my tires didnt have any dry rot. This is not the first time, nor the second, nor the third time they have tried to pull this nonsense on me. They do not do free estimates. One time I had the air filters on my vehicle replaced by the dealer, and when I took my vehicle to Service First, they said both needed to be replaced? This was less than a week after having them replaced! Absolutely sorry service.

Had a great experience getting an oil change, tire rotation and inspection for my VW. Dylan was very nice, the shop is clean with a lot of amenities. Would recommend, every time.
