Do not recommend going here. I scheduled three pedicures and one manicure with a full set. I am incredibly disappointed. They cut my skin multiple times and did a sloppy job. They never filed/smoothed out my acrylic nails and the the gel went all over my skin on multiple nails. My nieces pedicure looks like she did it herself. $143 for a terrible job. Will never go here again. I didn’t even let them give me a pedicure. I had to schedule an appointment to get my nails fixed and had to file my girls toe nails so they were straight.

I didnt feel like it was very sanitary. He had me sit in a spot someone had just left and all of her nail dust was on the desk. No cuticle care or hand massage like I saw the ladies doing. I tried a dip polish manicure, it was $50. Large selection of polish and they were able to get me in last minute without too much of a wait.

The nail person was super unfriendly. He pulled the gel off my toe nails and did a horrible job painting. It looks like a child painted my toe nails. My toe nails hurt. I have never had such a horrible pedicure. My first snd last time there. It took so long I just left.

I had my eyebrows waxed she and she used tweezers as well. It hurt as she was doing it and now I have sores on the eyebrow line where she used tweezers. Plus she didnt get the hairs at the end of my eyebrows thats out of place. If I can see him and Im blind she needs glasses. The only thing good about it is they gave me back my money today

I used to really like this place. Not so much anymore. Sloppy, fast manicures. Almost no cuticle trimming or massage. Pedicure was huge disappointment. Nails cut crooked and uneven. Wimpy massage, what there was of it. Prices are up, service is down. Its a bummer.

Walk-in appt was lucky to get, but a week later my fill looks shabby, mis-colored, and lots of lifting on edges.

Brought my friend there surprised her she was real happy made my day.

Terrible experience! I went in for mani/pedi gels and was left bleeding on two toes and one finger from mani/pedi and them clipping chunks of my skin from sides of my nail beds. When I was getting my manicure the worker whom was cleaning my nails put the dirty utensil in the bowl of warm water with my soaking hand. Disgusting, Horrible experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I just took my daughter and her friend to get their nails filled, $86 later I feel like I was ripped off, for a FILL? and my daughters looked like hell, there was even pieces of towel in her polish, and she had a broken nail which I was ok to pay for but they never said that was even in the charges, the one they replaced was huge and not even close to the correct size or matching the other hand! Rude and no explanation of the charges! Shout out to Amber, wish my daughter would have gotten you!

Service was good but my nails started cracking and breaking the very next day. They got me in to get them fixed but within the week my nails starting chipping and breaking, along with my nails.

We always get Amber. She is sweet. There are a lot of techs in there that are snotty. Amber does a real nice job when the others just hurry through. When Amber was doing my husbands toes there was about 8 techs not doing a thing so I went up to pay. They refused to take my money they told her to get up to help me. Such a sad state of affairs. This place has really gone down hill since I first started going there. The only reason I give 4 stars is cause Amber does a good job and she is sweet. Your other techs I would say shape up and be friendly to all customers it would be better for business.

I have been going here for 8 years with my best friend, and this is still the best nail salon in any of the 4 cities I have lived in across the US. I always come here when I am home visiting, and I used to come monthly when I lived in Spokane. The employees are always friendly when you speak with them, and my nails are Beautiful 🥰. Every time! Also if you have any issues with the way they do your nails, all you have to do is ask them specifically for what you would like done differently and they will do it with a smile. I never feel judged for my perfectionist anxious behaviors. Also, the best prices! Just know what you are asking for and if you are unclear, ask in advance. The prices havent changed much over the years and I could not be more satisfied. Thank you for being the best!

Get in quick! Pretty nice nails. Kind of expensive for the selection. It ended up costing me $50 for a fill. I was quoted 35 and then asked for the coffin shape. Apparently coffin shape is $15 extra. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Literally the worst gel manicure of my life. The woman had no idea what she was doing. Totally sloppy and uneven.

I paid $45 plus whatever else they choose to charge for my nails to fall off in FIVE DAYS! It was a very uncomfortable atmosphere and they can’t even shape nails correctly. Don’t bother with this “business”

I have been a regular customer of Famous Nails for years. A couple of weeks ago I went in and asked for a french gel manicure. The NEXT DAY the paint was already chipping off which has never happened before. I was out of town but took pictures of my nails and went back to the shop upon my return to town. The lady told me that I didnt ask for gel nails and that she had only painted them on which is why they didnt last. This is completely untrue. I do gel every time I am there. She repainted them but was very huffy. Then before I left she came over to me and said, Let me make this clear. You did not ask for gel so I will not be doing another re-do for you if this happens again. SO incredibly rude and unprofessional. As I mentioned, I have been going there for years but will never go back and recommend that you do not go either.

Very unhappy with my manicure experience. The instruments and the table were not clean this time. Last time the girl opened a sealed package with a manicure set in front of me but this time they did not even care to wipe the table after a previous customer. Also, the nails turned out uneven and need more coats as you can see through them.

They raised their prices for a pedicure from. $25 to $38. Not worth it in my opinion. They only spend about 30 minutes on the whole pedicure, leg massage could be a lot better and watch out if you get the older lady...she digs at your nail beds. Very painful. Two stars just because they can almost always get you in without an appointment.

I got a manicure from this place and the whole experience was uncomfortable. Was sat down at a dirty station with legit dry cuticle clippings all over and the girl made no effort to clean the space. Not welcoming AT ALL and definitely not what I expected when I just wanted some pampered me time. HELLA EXPENSIVE AND SO NOT WORTH IT. Cause of “COVID” they added a $3 charge to every service and their prices are already through the roof. NEVER EVER AGAIN

The nails are nice. The technician was nice. But they didnt tell me until I was done that it was $50! I have been getting nails done since I was 18 (23 years) and I have never paid over $40!

My friend told me she had a bad experience at famous nails. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I asked for a full set/gel. The older tech seemed confident. I explained the nail shape and length and showed her multiple photos. She managed to shape them close to what I asked but one of my thumbs nails was significantly shorter than the rest. When I pointed that out to her she dismissed my concern and said she will even them out. I explained that I didn’t want her to file them down and would appreciate it if she could redo that nail. She instantly became very angry and started speaking loudly in a language I couldn’t understand. The salon was quiet and she continued to speak in her language and passively slam her drawers and angrily move everything in her way. It took everything in me not to leave. I didn’t understand her behavior. I simply asked her to correct her mistake. They were out of the first two colors I wanted. The application of the color I settled for was terrible. After paying 50$ I got home and needed to fix the shape. Worst experience I’ve ever had in a salon. Beyond unprofessional. 1 out of 10. Do not recommend.

I know with many nail salons it’s hit or miss but I have always received a great pedicure and prompt service here. The staff is nice although not overly friendly or talkative which I kinda like. They have nice colors for nails available and seem to do a great job in terms of a pedicure. Usually the wait isn’t bad but if you call ahead you can get a spot reserved.

I called and made an appointment, I still had to wait 10 minutes ( which I did not mind). After I told the lady again what I wanted (expressed to her over the phone what I needed) she acted like she didnt understand. I wanted an almond shaped nail with a pinkish nude color. The lady told me the only way they could do what I wanted was by picking through 20 or so different powders, none where the color that I wanted. I settled for a sparkly black. The lady who did my nails could not get it to go on evenly and got snappy and rude with me. I suggested she just paint over it with a black color, I was ready to leave. She then gets up and leaves. As I am sitting there with disgusting looking nails, the front desk lady comes over and says they are going to take it off and I need to pick something else. She then tells me the guy who normally does that type of nail quit. Why would you give that as an option if no one there could do it properly? After 5ish minutes my nail lady comes back and starts soaking my fingers. She made my cuticles bleed, and my fingers where dried out from being soaked over and over. I left with a half ass paint job on my nails and each finger is a different shaped oval. After she was done painting my nails she pointed to the nail drying area and said go. I got up to go and grabbed my phone off of the table top, she grabbed my phone out of my hand and pointed again. So I walked over there. She then walked by me and tossed my phone on top of the drying station. She was horribly rude and completely ruined this place for me. Do not take your frustrations out on your paying customers!!

Worst experience ever! The girl who usually does my nails there left, so I was getting my nails done by the lady whose desk is closest to the entrance. The lady nicked all my fingers, shaped them terribly, and did a really bad job painting my nails. There was gel nail polish all over my skin. The nails looked grown out when she was done! I had to fix the nails at home to make them look presentable. She was also super rude, not only to me but also to my mom. Do not recommend. (ZERO stars)

I called around 3pm to ask how busy it was, and whoever answered the phone told that they were not busy at all. I asked if I could come in at 4pm with my 5 y.o. daughter for two pedicures, and possibly a manicure if her attention span could last long enough. The person on the phone told me that was fine, and to come as soon as possible. We arrived around 3:40 (because they had said to come as soon as possible), and were met with a surprise and a oh, youre early. The salon was definitely busy, and the adult sized pedicure chair next to the child sized pedicure chair was occupied by someone who had clearly just been seated there. We waited (very patiently and politely for a 5 y.o.!) until 4:05, when we were brought polish books to choose our colors. After choosing our colors around 4:15, I could tell that it was going to be a while longer. By 4:30, we decided to leave.I understand that businesses get busy quickly and unexpectedly. I also understand that we were waiting for someone who was enjoying themselves, and I chose to bring a child to a salon. However, the reason I elected to bring her here is because they cater to children -- I called ahead with an hours notice to let them know I was coming with a child who would require the child sized seat. I was also told to come as soon as possible, and then spent 45 minutes waiting. While we were waiting, we were offered no other services or compromises.Tldr; An hour of my life that I wont get back, wont be going back again.

Honestly, it is comical how bad this experience was. They were rude. I didnt see one person smile. And the lady doing my nails kept yelling at me to not move. She wasnt even painting my nails and she didnt want me moving. Also, she cut all but two of my toe nails. Again, I really dont know why. All in all, I would not reccomend!

Been here twice. The first time my friend and I went we brought pictures of the shape of acrylics we both wanted and both the ladies who did our manicures messed up the coffin shape pretty severely 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have done better acrylics on myself at home. The women were kinda rude and were definitely rushing and we were sat under the drying light thing for a very small amount of time but we’re being rushed to get out it felt like. The one woman kept coming over to check if they were dry yet and basically said they were fine and like kicked us out in a weird way. They were busy but not that busy. Not good service 1 star for that time. HOWEVER, I went here recently to get acrylics again and got a young man(can’t remember his name, maybe in his 20’s) this time who was superrr chill, laid back and pretty personable. He did an AMAZING job! He paid so much attention to detail, there wasn’t ONE flaw in my nails. And he didn’t take too long at all! They were the best set I’ve gotten in Spokane! He didn’t seem like the type to do nails but man you could tell he enjoys doing it and is very very good at what he does. I wish I could remember his name but I 10/10 recommend him! 5 starts for him mannn.

It took 2hrs to do my nails

My nails were lifting and having major issues prior to going to them I had a friend tell me that they are good place to go and she was right! My nails look great and feel great I highly suggest going there.

I booked a pedicure and manicure for me, my daughter and two friends today. I called at 10 am and asked if they could do four people at 12:30... they said they could and they did! A very relaxing and professional pedicure and manicures. Big therapy chairs to boot! The staff was friendly and gave a wonderful leg and foot massage. I will certainly go again. I recommend them for a quick scheduling.

I have used them for 10 years. The renovations are great since the new owners took over. New equipment, heated towels + More colors to choose from, especially in gels. Ideal location near Trader Joes. I like that they are Vietnamese and although friendly and courteous they do not make constant small talk so you can relax with your own thoughts while being pampered.

Good value and nice service, although some technicians are definitely better and more experienced than others. Gel manicures I have received have always been excellent. Some techs for pedicures arent as thorough with the feet softening aspect of the pedi. But there is a great selection of nail colors; tasteful decor, not kitschy; lots of chairs so quick to get started; and they accept credit for payment, which is not the case at all local nail salons. Like many Asian-owned salons, some of the technicians do not speak English very well (if at all, it seems), but they can communicate well enough. There is a sweet woman -- mom of two college-age sons - that I like to have do my nails. She is attuned to my comfort, double-checks color and other things before proceeding, and smiley (some seem very serious). She does excellent work, and I tip her well!

Called a head a good 2 hour ahead for 3 pedicures. Hard to hear on phone but was told walk ins only and that they should not have any problems servicing us. We arrived at time and was told to wait 15 minutes, which was fine for a walk in. We then were brought back to the chairs and 2 of us were serviced with getting the water ready. 1 of us waited 45 min just to get water started for my feet. Asked a few time why the delay and was not answered or assisted. Poor customer service over all even though they were not fully busy. On the plus side they did get 2 stars because they did a good job on the nails. Wont be coming back.

The 1st two times I went in with the younger techs I got good service but the 3rd time the older Tech did a terrible job I think she may be the manager but Im not sure anyway every nail was a different shape and the big toes didnt match and had splotches. I was amazed that was even acceptable to her my only guess is maybe she should be wearing glasses because she couldnt see it properly, why else would someone do such a bad job? I rarely get pedicures but wanted to treat myself, I was so disappointed. I will not use them again.

Agh I really wanted to like this place. But I was pretty disappointed.Plus: open on Sunday, nice and clean space.The staff is pretty “short” with you, I’m not much of a talker but they were borderline rude a couple times. Which I would have overlooked if their work wasn’t so sloppy.I asked for a super simple design on my ring fingers, both sides came out bad. On one of my ring fingers the nail shape has the weirdest angle and then the worst of all was that while she was filing the under side of my nails, she went waaaay too deep under one of my thumbs. It hurt pretty bad at the time but I thought it would be ok, almost 8 hours later and it still hurts and feels raw.Not worth the $40 for a fill.

Dont waste your money here!! The lady who did my pedicure seemed distracted most of the time. My two daughters both got acrylic nails, the paint job was horrible!! Its been 8 hrs and already the paint on my toes is starting to peel off. Ill never go here again and suggest the same to anyone else

I was in the shop yesterday. New girl from California was working on my nails. I could tell she did not know what she was doing seeing that i have been getting nails done for 20 years. Another costumer came in other workers were rude to her. Than i asked worker to file my nail lower and she threw the nail file at me and told me to do it myself so i tried but it was not my job than she told me Im only getting fill if i got a new set she would do it right. Im very upset right now.

Massage chairs do not work well...you have to keep turning them on. While the place seemed clean and busy, the pedicure was very mediocre and the woman was unfriendly and a bit rude. When I asked her to work on smoothing out the bottom of my feet, she gave me an annoyed look (i.e. Elaine in Seinfelds Nail salon episode).

So I only get my nails done during the summer because my husband is unemployed in the winter (construction worker) and I just can’t afford my bills and nails in the winter. Around Mothers Day or my Birthday (May 25th) I go get a full set to maintain the entire summer because I can use that as a gift ($50) and not worry. So on my birthday I went to this salon where I ended up with a student (a very nice student but still a STUDENT) who applied the acrylic completely wrong, I paid full price like I had a real nail tech and I always tip. The nails lasted 10 days before three came off...10 days. Now I’m left allllllllllll summer with no nails because I can’t do a full set again. This place should have to give people the OPTION to have a student or not, and if you have a student it should be cheaper like the actual nail schools. I probably could have gone there and not spent $50 on just plain clear tips and light pink polish which I think is $35 at every other nail salon in town. Very dissatisfied. Think twice and go someplace that isn’t trying to profit off having students and having customers.

My friend and I went and she got a mani and i got a full set. Overall both our nails looked great besides the fact there was some spots under the polish! yup

Ive been a patron for 20 years or more. They are the best now and their tools are individually in a sterile package. I always ask for Mai, my favorite, but most of them are great!! No bad experiences, ever!!!!

It was my first time there, I had an appointment and the lady was upset idk the reason, so she was doing a pretty bad job with my mani and I told her to stop, I wasnt gonna pay for something bad done, they asked me to pay 10$ for that s#!+ and I refused, so the owner instead of being helpful just told me to leave. Thats the worst place Ive visited.

So alot has changed since my last review was about 10 months ago. They started to not do there job well, the pedicure isnt as good as it used to alot careless and nail polish she put on me was a great color but was clumpy and was missing on the sides. She spent more time looking for something instead of my pedicure...

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! I went to get just a basic manicure while my aunt got her nails done and I saw that they did eyebrows too, mine were looking pretty rough so I thought I’d get them cleaned up. Half way through getting my manicure they make me go back to the eyebrow chair where she tries to paint my nails while the other woman was trying to do my eyebrows (red flag) before I could get any words out, including “what kind of wax do you use?” (Because last time I got my brows waxed I had an allergic reaction to what I assumed was an almond oil) and “PLEASE LEAVE MY BROWS THICK” she pushed my shoulders down, grabbed my head, and pushed it down aggressively as well, then very quickly just started laying wax on me. Everything felt alright but by the time she got to the second eye she had dropped wax on and under my eye and decided to just rip it off!!!! When she showed me the finish product I almost Immediately cried. I have two fine lines of eyebrows that you can barely even see they are so thin and I have naturally very thick eyebrows. Not to mention the next day I woke up with a burn mark (that’s still there) where the wax had been!! I have half a mind to sue!! If I could give this establishment negative stars I would.

Third time coming here and always had a great experience getting a mani/pedi. Im prone to ingrown nails and they take care of them beautifully. Love the massage they give and very nice customer service.

I got my nails done there and they did a completely shitty job! To top it off, they didnt fix it, and made me feel guilty for not tipping. When I complained to the manager, they told me that I shouldnt have tipped if it was so bad, and that Im stuck with ugly nails. Dont ever go here! Theyre terrible and no one speaks English! They have a salon on 57th on the south Hill thats great. Go there!

I am not impressed it they did my nails and they did not even dry properly but that is just my opinion and while the lady was massaging my arm she pounded on it really hard and they where mostly on their phones during it.
