Man I don’t even know where to start with how insanely impressed I am with the service, professionalism and expertise I just experienced at Clark’s this afternoon. Juan and Greg are the most accommodating and informative mechanics I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with about car troubles.I came in for a simple oil change and was informed that my turbo was leaking ( I was aware of this and already had an appointment set up at another shop ) and with that Clark’s quoted me 800 + dollars less than the other spot that I was originally looking at! Fixed it in a few hours and even showed me bits and pieces of the process along the way. On top of all that they showed me pictures of trouble areas and spots that needed attention. Answered literally every question I had about the pictures and let me know the level of importance for each thing that was brought up!In the end these two went above and beyond to help me out and solidified Clark’s as my new go to spot!

1st time there, impressed. Faster and cheaper than similar shops in my area. My total cost was exactly as quoted. Did my wheel alignment in less than an hour. Other shops asked me to come by next week

This was by far the worst service Ive ever experienced anywhere!! My car sat for 3 days being told oh we will get to it, finally work started, I didnt receive a quote, they started the work before running the price by me, I had to call multiple times to even get any sort of answer and had to pry a price out of Justin. When I showed up at the store my car was still on the rack, the technician told Justin, that he was putting the inner and outer tie rod ends on and would be done. I requested an alignment as well so I doubt that service was done. I will now have to go elsewhere to double check my specs. Also when I told Justin I would like to pay I presented a coupon and was told that he wouldnt honor it because the services that I had done arent what they cover on the coupon. I let him know that I had inner and outer tie rods put on along with a ball joint control arm and CV Axle.He then proceeded to say that I supplied my own parts and I had to remind him that the CV axle was out of Seattle from Oriellys that I had to find myself! He walked out to the technician and grumbled that I was trying to get work for cheap!!! What a horrible place!UPDATE: went to tirerama to have them look at the alignment that was supposed to be done by Clarks, picture below shows that when the inner and outer tie rods were put on they decided they wouldnt do an alignment, cars steering wheel started to pull left and right at highway speed and outer sidewall is now balled on front and rear tires due to toe being so far out of spec. Technician at tirerama said rear toe bar bolts werent even tightened causing my toe on the rear to change going around corners and bumps.

Rudy got my freshly swapped engine tuned and timed and installed my new exhaust! It’s beautiful, sounds terrific, and was worth every penny. Their financing/lease option was very helpful, especially in times like these. I’m fortunate that they offered that as well as the quality service. They were all professional, straight to the point, and knowledgeable. Being someone who knows about mechanic work, they were honest and upfront without any BS and I appreciate that more than most.

My husband brought my vehicle in for a brake issue, and to install rear sway bars. My brake issue was not fixed they still make a noise, my brakes are soft. And my front sway bars were loosened to the point that it really was not safe to drive. We informed them before hand that way were making a trip this summer and needed it running. Charged us over $200 to have nothing fixed and for my front sway bars to be loosened to the point that they were almost falling off. After taking it o somebody else to get what we asked Clarks to fix in the first place my vehicle runs great! So dissatisfied with our service and will not be back to the North side Clarks again!

Honestly this was my first time coming in and I just wanna say that the whole team was awesome, friendly attitude and it didn’t even take long despite the intense heat these guys have to work in, I loved the job they did on my car when I got the summer maintenance package it drove so much smoother, the manager should be very proud of the hard work these fellas do especially in this heat

Took my car in to have them look at the A/c and when I got up there to pick up the car after hours the window was left down and no keys to be found in it.. and I called them on the next business day to talk to them about it and they still havent found my keys and they never got back in touch with me on it..

I had a very good experience with this facility they were professional and knowledgeable they did not try to nickel and dime you which i truly appreciate and reasonably priced. I would give them a 5 star but ill wait and see how they are the next automotive repair, if they follow through with that same service ill be back to change it to a 5. Thank you guys. I could not have asked for more. They were friendly and explained everything about the inspection of my vehicle. I am from Arizona and I get my oil changed here at least once a year while in Spokane visiting family. I Was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I would recommend them highly.

Such a great vibe here and its really nice being able to hop right into their newly acquired lube and oil change spot next door. Super fast tire rotations even though they were quite busy on the mechanics side, they slid me right in. Brought in my own oil and filter and received no issues at all with doing that! So I went to go get my oil changed and they said I had a oil leakage and my struts where bad and that it would cost me $1000.00. I live all the way out in Cheney so I figured they where lying to me because they knew I wasn’t going to come back regularly. Turns out they where lying to me because I set up an appointment with Dave’s Auto in Cheney and they said my struts looked fine and my oil leakage was very minimal. Don’t go here! It’s a scam. They just want to take your money.

I went to the oil change part of Clarks automotive, and from when I got there to when I left was an hour a half wait. First thing I noticed it seemed like there was only 2 people working, and I was the 5th car in line. Once I was in the bay finally, the interaction was minimal. Only to really inform me that they were out of oil filters for my vehicle and it will be a wait until they arrive. After about 15-20 mins, the filters arrived. They then asked me to start my car which I know is normal of course for about 5 seconds and they asked me to turn it off because they had no oil in my car! This whole experience was completely ridiculous while I had my kids in the car screaming and crying and they didnt seem like they cared about any of it. Also quite expensive for the poor service that I received.

Call to get a quote for some repair work done to my van and they rudely flat out told me no they didnt even want to touch my vehicle. Will never take anything to them ever.

These guys are friendly and honest. They always make me feel like there on my side and not just after my money. Ive been to big name mechanics in Spokane who pressure me into services that I dont know anything about, but Clarks has never tried to take advantage of me or my lack of mechanical knowledge in anyway. They sometimes take a while, but its because they have a steady flow of customers that trust them as much as I do.

I love this place! Its the only place I take any if our cars. They tell me whats really wrong with it and fix it. If theres nothing wrong with it they tell me its fine and send me on my way. I wont go anywhere else!

Over the decades of going to all kinds of different mechanics around Spokane and Washington state, theyre easily in my top 5 all time. They are very honest and over the top helpful. It was making me feel bad for all extra help that didnt even need to be included. Lol. But sure makes you feel better after leaving, knowing theres still people going that extra mile just because they truly care. The mechanics will talk into extreme depth if you let them. Highly recommended.

I took my Forrester to get brakes done. They went above and beyond what I expected. Ive had mechanics treat me badly thinking I know nothing because Im female. I walked in and the owner was the one who talked to me. They treat you good and take care of your car. They found 2 other problems and fixed it at little to no cost. I am thankful that they were one of my choices to try out. They sent us away with more info on our car than our dealer gave us. They dont leave you in the dark about the repairs. They took us to show us in person what was wrong and so we thought that was amazing. When we left we questioned the brakes and they took it back in to find a bubble. But the way they handled it was even better than weve ever seen. This mechanic is trustworthy and their work is top quality. We took another car (Z3 Roadster) to them because we trust them with the clutch problem we had. We just bit off more than we could chew at the time because the problem was definitely spendy due to being a sports car. I still think we found an amazing place to take our cars. We will continue to be a customer here.

Had you do a pre buy check on a vehicle and was told it was in perfect condition only to find out after spending 4200 that it will need a new transmission. So now Im out the original 4400 i spent on it and the 4200 on repairs I paid the shop. I thought planned parenthood was the only business allowed to do abortions.

Well i got a Groupon for a summer special where they were supposedly doing an oil change, car inspection, and an ac service for 99. My ac worked when I brought it in they kept it over 6 hours and I get it back and now my ac is not working. I have used them before and didnt have any trouble. I didnt get the inspection and what needed to be done. Im upset that now they want 600 to fix an ac that was working before I took it there I just know u are suppose to get it service every year so thats why I did it. I wouldnt get the summer special especially if your ac is working.

Ladies beware!! I took my car in to get my power window fixed and they destroyed my car! My power window wasnt working and they said they could easily fix it in a day. After my car was held overnight and the entirety of the following day they called saying they were unable to fix it stating it was a ground fault but the window would role down, just not up. My fiance was a mechanic in the military and said it didnt sound right so he took over, not only were they lying to me, a woman, but once he called them on their BS they started waving fees and offering discounts once he was talking, but they were totally fine trying to charge me simply because i dont know cars. When my fiance and I arrived the door was still entirely apart and had to wait over an hr for them to assemble it. They gave us the keys and tried to hurry us out, but my fiance opened the door and couldnt believe the damage they did to my car. the inside door panel is cracked and a piece is completely broken off. additionally screws are missing and it no longer properly attaches to the car door. If all of that was not bad enough the power window still does not operate. When my fiance asked why it was broken and not properly reinstalled one mechanic just walked away while another said they dont remember what it looked like when I brought it it and sometimes these things happen. My fiance will be going back to speak with the owner if he is unable to refund and/or resolve we will file a legal claim with the city clerk. Photos will be posted after legal issue is resolved. Avoid these womanizing crooks at all costs!

It took them 18 days to put a new transmission in my car. While I spent over $700 for a rental vehicle. They eventually did a very good job.

Got my car in the same day. Great Customer service and great mechanics.

I paid for them to do brakes and an alignment had to bring it back the next day because brakes were put on wrong. Alignment is still not right truck still pulls and the front tires are cambered out too far. They went through my possessions in my truck. I had the ac ac fi a couple days before taking it to them and it was leaking when I got it back all ng with spark plug wires being pulled loose. There was no reason to go under the hood when everything I asked them to do was at the wheels!!

Chris and Ro took great care of my truck. Even fixing something I didnt know was wrong, and for no charge! Great price on my tires and amazing service.

I was quoted in person (not printed caused I trusted his word as he stood in front of me) $35 for refilling my R-134 along with the green dye too in it so when it stopped blowing cold air in the next few days again theyd be able to find the small leak. But when it was done being filled I was charged $120! I can buy a can of dyed R-134 @ Wal-Mart for $35. I went to them because it was the same price and I was going to go back to have them fix the leak later. I did NOT go back though because if they lied about the quote the first time who knows how much it could change the next time!

Have used Clarks since I moved to Spokane Valley a couple a years ago. Have been very satisfied with their honest excellent service at both of their locations. I will continue to go to Clarks for all of my trucks needs. Keep up the good work.

Went in with a car i had been working on myself, didnt chastise me, took me seriously, didnt doubt my mechanic ability (even as a young female) and diagnosed my timing problem within 1 hour of me leaving. Great prices and the owner and manager are so beyond helpful. Thank you Clarks for being an all around great place. Even fixed my friends timing chain a few months earlier for an amazing price!

They are partnered with Snows Auto and it shows. I brought my car in twice for two leaking tires. The first time, they found a nail, patched it, and filled my tire to 56 (it should have been filled to 35 max). The second time I brought it in, they said the tire had a loose valve and then filled the tire to 54 (again, it should have been filled to 35 max). Two days later, the tire was flat again. I brought it elsewhere and they found a nail! Snows and Clarks are dishonest, crooked businesses. Definitely do not recommend.

I love that this is a Locally Owned business. I found them on Groupon while looking for a Reasonably priced Synthetic Oil Change and that was just the beginning!!I told my bestie about him... She has now had about 5 major issues fixed by these guys. They have done GREAT work in a very timely fashion. The owner understands what life can be like sometimes. They have even worked with her financially (and they already have the lowest prices)!!!!The Reason WHY only 4 stars... :( :(I tried to get my car in for a Diagnostic here.. The Mechanic never showed up. They didnt call me to cancel or anything, so I drove my broken car up there with my 3 yr child to find out... Unless I wanted to leave it for who knew how long (This was a Thursday) they couldnt do it. The person wasnt the most.... Understanding of why it was an issue. No phone call (As offered) later that day or even the next saying the mechanic was Back in town. Nothing. So Sadly... I took it elsewhere and got screwed. Im STILL trying to get it back up to par.Sooooo.. That being said - take your car HERE so its done right AND youre supporting a Local Family here in Our community!!!!

Went here to do an Uber Eats inspection since you didnt have to make an appointment. They told me my front tire tread was under the legal limit. I came home and did the test with a quarter and had my husband look at my tread and it seemed fine and legal. Decided to make an appointment at my normal mechanic shop for another opinion, my tires are perfectly fine and not only have legal tread, but are gonna last me for a while. Dont waste your time, go to Lloyds on the South Hill instead.

They didnt have the time today though.Im your neighbor, and thought you would be convienent. I actually went to Payfair and 30 bucks for dismounting two tires, then mounting and balancing two tires.Responding to Chris:More than twice the price I paid at Pay Fair.S&L 12.50 per tire. HillyardJudd Lee valley 11.00 per tire ( but had a long line today)Schwab was a bit cheaper but they do a safety check on stuff. They were pretty busy too.Let me say that you guys have the customer service and friendliness part down though.

I went to this location to get my van Lyft certified. They were super quick and friendly. They had the inspection done in less than 20 minutes. This was a huge surprise, as I was expecting at least an hour or more. Thanks guys.

Made an appointment for 9am Monday morning to get a safety inspection done. I arrive at 8:15 and tell clerk that I have a 9am appointment. He said that he couldn’t because it is tire season. Told me he could get me in Thursday. I am pretty sure that it will still be “tire season” on Thursday. What’s the use of having an appointment if they are going to deny you the service?

The staff was nice and understanding and very apologetic about their mess up, until they realized they lost a valve stem to my tires and then said it was missing on arrival....my tire held air and had no missing sensor prior to having them touch my vehicle. Now they have limited conversation with me and are very unwilling to help me. They left me with tires kn the wrong r oh ms and a missing valve stem sensor that holds the air in my tire😡

Wouldnt advise going there, or get 2nd opinion. They did not know how to work on my Subaru and could have cost my granddaughter her life. Was a horrid experience and the work that was done, $1251, probably didnt need to be done at all! Will never return! Please, if you go there get another honest opinion.

This place changed my oil,and included was filling all fluids. Well,they supposedly did change oil,however my washer fluid was not filled!! I would have stayed to have them do it,but I had another place to be and it was really busy. I was not happy about it!! They seemed to rush through my car once they drove it in. Yet it took quite awhile to start the job. I wont recommend this place based on my experience here!!!

Without even checking our car they quoted us around $1000.00 just by describing them whats going with our car.Got second opinion and only spend around $250.00. Went to OReilly and got a better service for less $.

Took my Honda Civic Type R in to get the transmission fluid changed. After having the car up on the rack looking for the place to refill the transmission fluid, they said they couldnt find it and couldnt finish the job. I took the car home and the next time I went to drive it noticed that something was now leaking from under the car. I took it back to them and they all insisted that they had not done anything to the car that would have caused the leak. Well I took it to another garage to find the leak. They found a plate had been removed and found that a o-ring used to seal the plate had been destroyed while reinstalling the plate. I will never do business with them again, they are liars and dont stand behind their work or take responsibility for their actions....think long and hard before letting them work on your car...they lied once,they can do it again!!!

I use to believe these guys and TRUST THEM but after 2 times and spending almost $1800 bucks my truck keeps leaking oil I dont even have 500 miles on the repairs and I just looked and my oil leak is back. First time they told me it was my intake gaskets and my cat needed to be replaced (I had that done at dave smith prior for $934.00) but they told me thats what it was... So I said go ahead they fix it and said no oil leak we drove it 20 miles and nothing... 3 or 4 months later I saw a few spots on the ground and it returned, I took it back and they said it was my oil pan, valve cover, oil filter housing, and my coolant temperature reader I said fix it they did... Once more $800 get the truck back and it wouldnt stay at operating temp it wouldnt get above 100 degrees and I had no heat... Went back they fixed it... They told me and GUARANTEE ME the oil leak is gone I had the tech drive my truck for a WHOLE week and he said it was gone... Now its back and Im sick of this they get 3 star cause they have been friendly to me and kept me in the loop but the work effort sucks and so does the craftsmanship both times it was in I ask more than once if it was the rearmain seal and they said no it was dry and looked perfect and I said okay thank you... I will be calling in the morning to see what can be done if not I will be going to the BBB...

I went here for my Lyft & Uber inspections. As far as I know they are the only ones doing Lyft inspections. The cost was very reasonable and even though they said they were raising the charge, it still seemed reasonable to me. The guys at the counter were friendly and efficient. Even though you cant make appointments for these inspections I didnt have to wait for long.
