Ive been a mechanic for 15 years. So Ive always done my own work. If there was a shop that I had to take my car to this particular tune tech on Monroe would be the one that I would go to. There was a guy there that was really good at tuning carburetors with their gas analyzer machine but he retired. Occasionally on the weekends they have hot rod car meets and once a year they have their Dyno day. Thats where you get to dyno your car for free. Very trustworthy shop. And thats hard to find.

I took my old Chevy van in with a number of issues during the holiday season. They must have worked on it around the clock because it was done quickly and very professionally. They stayed in touch with me to keep me up to date on the progress of the repairs. Because it’s a van much of the work had to be done on the motor from the inside of the van. When it was returned to me it was cleaner than when I left it. Highly recommend these guys.

Why five stars? Because I gave the shop a nearly impossible task and they delivered on time and on budget. I bought a 47 year old RV full of issues and had it delivered to the shop, asked them to check it over for a 3000 mile trip, and gave them five days to do it. They not only picked it apart as requested, they got it fixed and ready by closing time on Friday. I just finished the trip from Spokane to Florida, and it runs better than when I picked it up. Great job, highly recommended if you want honest, no nonsense service.

As a bit of a “car guy” tune tech seemed like a great place to do business at first. They were confident that they would be able to fix my 60 series Landcruiser and it’s aftermarket fuel injection system. They installed a “new computer” and replaced an injector on on my Downey Off-Road system and returned the vehicle “running” far too rich with no IAC motor or TPS hooked up in order to allow it to run only on the MAF. I took the car home, fixed the few sensors and found that it was still running too rich so I went and snagged the same computer out of a junkyard truck and the truck ran perfectly after that. To tune techs credit, they did redo and organize some wiring that the previous owner had poorly done and for that I’m thankful. That said, I was charged $1200 to have a car back that ran horribly. I was told that the car needed 5k in work from there but that I could take it home. Then a junkyard computer fixed all of the issues and I had to chase down a refund for the “remanufactured” computer from tune tech. All in all, I was very displeased with their customer service as a whole. Unfortunately for these guys, I do know a good bit about cars and I rarely take my rig anywhere. I can only imagine how much money tune tech is raking in from people who don’t understand cars and need their car to work. I realize that the job I brought in was unique and not necessarily routine maintenance but when you have a forward control jeep out front mixed in with a grip of nice hot rods, I expected better. I will definitely take my money elsewhere from here on out when I need to.

Tune Tech is the only repair shop I go to. Ive had costly repairs and cheap repairs with them, and I know they are honest with me. Once they spent at least 2 hours diagnosing an oil leak, discovered it was in a bad spot and would require removing the engine to get to it, which would be thousands in labor alone, recommended that I not do it due to the age of my car, and didnt charge me a dime. They are fair, honest, and excellent at what they do.

This shop has saved my day so many times now. The environment is so friendly and work they do is top notch! Anymore whenever anyone I know mentions a car issue I tell them that tune tech is the place. I will never ever take my car any where else, I even have a key chain! I will tell anyone and everyone, if youre unsure of where to take your automobile, if your unsure of whats wrong with your vehicle, if you want the best service and people that will help you take it to Tune Tech!

Ive used Tune-Tech to get my car through emissions testing for about six years now. Theyre knowledgeable and do good work, and theyll even drive your car over to get it through emissions again to guarantee success when theyre done in the garage. And best of all, when youre done and you drive away, new and surprise problems dont start to appear with your car. They do good work, and honest work at that.

I came in and literally spent 5 minutes to have them stop what they were doing just to fix my flat tire. They were very kind and profesional and definately knew what they were doing. This last visit was no exception: I had a last minute change of plans and called short notice to bring my car in for an oil change. Not only did Tune Tech accommodate my needs and took care of the service on the same day, they also discovered (and repaired) a tire that had a nail in it, keeping me from experiencing a soon-to-be flat tire on the road! My wife went in for a check up, regarding her air conditioning system in her new car. And unfortunately we received some bad news about it. But an employee named Dennis saw how upset she was after hearing the news, and he completely changed her mood in a moment! It was Dennis’s Opinion, that since he gave her bad news, and it only took him 15 mins to check her car out, that it was fair to just waive the $65.00 charge for the inspection he performed. I have an older car that needed the timing adjusted and decided to take it into tune tech. After working with my car, they said they couldnt completely get it set right due to either my distributor or the ignition module being bad. The ignition module is brand new so I new it wasnt that. Jade informed that it would be $260 for the part/labor. After leaving the shop my car ran worse than when I brought it in and barely made it home due do it wanting to die. I took my car in to have the distributor checked by another shop and said there was nothing wrong with it. I plan to never go there and would not refer anyone else there. I wasted $196. Because it runs worse than what it did, I have to take it into another shop and spend more money to get it fixed right. Truly disappointed.

Jade & Ryan are Super good people. Honor & integrity means something to this shop.I trust them to work on my Vehicles and they always stand behind their work.

This Tune Tech has never cheated me, never been dishonest with me, and never tried to push additional repairs. I have worked with the same employees for years. When I drop off my car they offer to drive me home and pick me up when it is ready. The work I had done yesterday costed 25% less than the estimate I was given. They change way to much I needed Ignition control module change spark plugs and a coil and they try to charge me almost $1200 just to do that and it would take two hours to get done or less don’t ever go there please I take my car somewhere else and i only payed 500 and the they was done in less than two hours and I’m car drive just like I first got it

They worked my old suntan got running like a champ say little spendyier than most shops. But the price = equals the quality they do always will take my rigs heat to fixed all the time

Good honest mechanic. Treated my fuel injected 454 suburban really well. Manager is really nice and knows his stuff. Clean shop with fast service. When our woody wagon broke down the friday before a holiday weekend they still got it done by noon the following tuesday.

As I former mechanic, this review aggravates me to type. I had to have my fuel tank replaced on my Corolla due to having a crack at the bottom. Im new to the area, so I was recommended tune tech by the employer of a family member. My issue isnt with the work that was done, as the job seemed like it went off without a hitch. My problem is with their dishonest billing practice. I got a quote from Jade who told me $1521 would be my total with a Toyota tank without changing the pump. I didnt have a choice so I bit the bullet. After picking my car up I checked the invoice. Again, former me mechanic. Im used to how certain shops run things so I disected the bill. At the bottom, hidden with the taxes, I see an absurd $60 shop fee. Im used to shops trying to swindle people out of 5-10 dollars to make up for fluid use. Thats bad enough. If you have to top off a customers car with brake fluid or something, charge THEM not me. Then, the icing on the cake, the back if the receipt said If youre happy with our service tell your friends, if not, tell us. Thats not how it works. I most certainly would tell people if I was happy with my experience, but since I am not, I will still tell people. Its bad enough that honest shops get a bad reputation due to shops screwing people over. Its sad that this only furthers that stereotype. I wonder if that $60 fee is added to everyones ticket or just mine since they knew I had no choice but to get it done?

Jade was amazing, helped me out a ton! Tunetech did a complete engine rebuild on my 95 Talon TSI and did it in a very reasonable amount of time. Runs amazing and would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

My husband and I are from Libby Mt and we broke down in our Winnebago in Spokane turns out it was the carburetor. Jade and his team were amazing did a great rebuild on the carb. Got us back on the road to Nevada! :) They got us in that day and had the carb done within a couple hours! Great job guys!!

I have never been to this company, yet they are spamming me with emails for a vehicle I do not own. I also do not even live in Spokane. Given this information it is likely that they sell and reuse customer private information. My recommendation is to avoid going here and giving them any sort of private information.

Got fed up with a car dealership taking advantage of their loyal customers so went to Tune Tech after they came highly recommended by friend. A local dodge dealership quoted me $1000 to attempted to determine the problem......... Price tag at Tune Tech ZERO. They actually worked to diagnose and determine the problem vs just soley relaying on what the error code tells you. Shop manager was friendly and helpful!

I have had a check engine light and high idle problem in my old truck for 5 years that I couldnt track down to save my life. Save automotive recommended Jade at tunetech on monroe. They told me he can work on anything from 1900 and up.He and his crew took a day tracking down my issue and called me with cost and solution, as well as pointing out several other things I was not aware of.I would recommend anyone with an older vehicle to go to him and his crew. His team was fast and polite about the repair. Avoid this place. Took my f150 in to have the plugs changed out. They had to drill out 4 of them (I was expecting that) and change out the catalytic converter. Almost $3000 bucks. Which wouldve been fine, except they also forgot to put about 3 quarts of oil in my rig after changing the oil out as well. I didnt check it immediately, drove it for about 1500 miles and now my engine is on its way out as a result. When I brought it back to them, I was ultimately told to check my oil more often.Thanks Tune Tech!Edit: Read the invoice you attached there again boss. From your own invoice “LOF-6 QUART - 3000 MILE SERVICE: LUBE OIL FILTER-6 QUARTINCLUDES OIL AND FILTER. LUBRICATE ALL GREASE FITTINGS. CHECK AND FILL FLUID LEVELS.” Thats atleast part of the problem I was referring to. 6 quarts is already low.

SAY WHATProblem #1, they replaced a bad Vaccum line with a Fuel Line, not a good idea, it was wrapped up underthe trottle body causing car to Idle way to high 1600 rpm.Fuel line collapses under vaccum YA - THINKProblem #2,They said they replaced the gasket for the intake, no they did not. bolts were still untouched.They charged me 42.00 usd for a 13.00 dollar connector and bent the pins putting on the connector for thethrottle body sensor.Oh They left a shop rag ontop of the exhaust behind the engine, after I got home with the car. I openedhood to inspect and check the engine compartment area. Good thing I did or the shop rag would havecaught on fire, hmmmmmm, shaddy work, lets work real fast and turn a profit, hmmmmm.I told them I had replaced the sparks plugs, a week or 2 prior.They replaced them anyways, and the wires and coil.So did they test drive the car after they fixed it ??? No they did not.WOW....So I Took my car to the Mechanic that is ASE certified that I have known for 30yrs.He looked at the repairs they did, and he said, I was totally taken to the Cleaners.Then he explained to me what they did to my car . And he said they should have had there Certificationsrevoked and recertify there certifications.Thats the nice way of saying it you dont want to hear the exact phrases he used.My best friend and Certified ASE Mechanic that owns his own business and is great at what he does best.He repaired my car buy putting a new catalytic converter on ther car, and then repairing the mistakes thatTune-Tech made, repairing the bent pins in the trhottle body connector and rplacing the Fuel Line hosethey used for Vaccum line with the proper type of hose.And then road tested the car for any other problems...Tune-Tech. Shoddy work quality and overpriced. I went behind them and found quite a few things that were done poorly. The service manager is a good guy but I am afraid he has at least one tech that does the bare minimum to get by. I definitely wasted my money at this place.
