This is the worst most unprofessional place to go. The two front desk agents are rude lazy and would not help at all. It started with them changing my appointment because my appointment was too late for them. And knowing my appointment was going to take a little longer they did not want to stay passed closing time. Ok understood I changed my appointment left work early got a point at work for leaving early, but since my face is swollen and I’m in pain I decided it was worth it. I’ve never been so wrong in my life!!! I showed up at 4:10pm 20min before my appointment I got attitude from the beginning from the lady at the front. She said I had delta and my insurance card didn’t have that information and I needed to call and figure it out myself. I stepped out called delta the agent that answered the call asked why the front desk staff didn’t call I told him she instructed me to do it because she didn’t have the number and it’s my insurance not hers. He gave me the information I needed and said with my Id number that she can pull up all my information, and should not have any trouble getting me in now. I went back in she said that she was unable to get me in because she doesn’t know what my insurance covers. This is after the insurance agent just said that the only thing she needs is my Id number and all my information would pop up. He instructed if she had trouble to call him. She refused to help and told me she can reschedule me but will not be seeing me. By this time it’s almost 5pm. So I lost 2 hours of work so I lost out on my paycheck I got a point at work and my face is still swollen and I’m still in a ton of pain. All because the front desk staff is absolutely too lazy to do their jobs if you ask me. my sister is a dental assistant and knows all the rules. They have insurance numbers because she calls them all the time to make it a fast process for patients, and regardless calls insurance herself for all new patients. Too bad she lives 8 hours away so I can’t go to her. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone.

Ive never seen this level of incompetence in my life. The 3 woman sitting at front desk-totally miserable. The one that made my appointment told me10am and gave me card with date and time on it. I went in early today because I knew there would be paperwork. She said your appointment was at 9, I said no, it says on the card you gave me 10. She said let me see it. I gave it to her and she didnt even apologize for her incompetence and basically calling me the liar. 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment another miserable employee came to take me back. While she was taking my blood pressure and photos of my teeth, the dentist was pacing back and forth in the hall looking at me like I was wasting his time. Unprofessional and incompetent. Of course that explains why the people under him are the way they are. So,She said she was going to take x-rays, but I said no, Im leaving, as I was leaving the other lady said isnt she getting x-ray, she said no. I went to my car and called my insurance company to tell them what procedures was done (blood pressure and photos), my agent put it in her notes so when they send info to insurance company they will send me list of what they claim they did to make sure they dont charge for services they didnt perform. Other reviews state that they have done that and they also overcharge patients for the part they are supposed to pay.,

Id give a 0 if it were possible. I was sent there with a broken molar 6 months ago 2 months ago they pulled all my upper and 3 lower then put in these horrible non-fitting dentures that the dentist ground all of the back teeth off of, they have no fronts above the teeth to hold them in glue doesnt work and Ive lost 46 lbs I have to go to work to live but they are only open during the hours most people have to work (NO SATURDAYS) Id go anywhere else if I were you. A barnyard vet would be preferable

Called last night and had an appointment the next morning because my crown fell off (work done by another dentist). Friendly front office and professional back office staff. Excellent Dentist and super nice. This is not my first time at this dentist office and they provide great customer service consistently.

It was the waiting time. I had an appointment at 2:30 PM they did not call me until 4:01 PM that’s is a whole hour and a half. It was crazy. What was crazy I waited, because I really needed to see a dentist I was in pain. I definitely switched my dental office elsewhere. And the ladies in the front man they were just rude and bad vibes going in there. I should of left the minute that happened.

This place is a joke. The front desk women are not pleasant at all. Not even a hello, how are you. Just paying with cash or do you have insurance. Take my information. Do X-rays, dentist sees me. Says oh awhile since last cleaning. Pokes around and says deep cleaning. Then the grumpy front desk chick comes and say. What you need will be 750. Im all oh ok $7.50. Shes all no $750.00. Thats with insurance covering 50% what a joke. $1,500 for a deep cleaning. Im sure theres cheaper and better dentist offices out there. Online said a deep cleaning should be around $117.00 with insurance. They mark their prices sky high. Do yourself a favor and find another dentist office.

The so called dentist didnt even have the time to come look at me, even though the office was empty and I had to drive in from Fallon. Do yourself a favor and dont go here. Also everything that others said about the front desk staff is absolutely true they were rude, unprofessional and couldnt even spell my name right.

The girl in the back office was so pleasant and helpful. Which is unfortunate, because by the time I got back to her I felt so unwelcome by the front desk. The front desk girls are so unprofessional. Especially the one who had fingernails that were 6” long. They act so disgusted with every question you ask them. They treated me and other patients as if we were completely bothering them by having to even deal with us. Employers need to really monitor the front office staff in any business. The front office sets the tone for a patients entire visit and forms patient opinions of the entire office. If the doctors don’t take the time to hire a good front office, they could be the best doctor in the entire world but the front office staff can make them seem terrible. The front office should be exceptionally pleasant and welcoming. Especially in the medical field, people are sick and not feeling well for the most part, and to be treated so poorly is so so sad.

Just dont. I needed my xrays sent to me for my wisdom teeth and it took an hour for them to email them to the surgeon office (toward the end they would just hang up on me and the office) just so they could be the wrong patients teeth. They were not mine! The ones they sent had missing teeth i dont have any missing. The office called them and they said well those are the ones we have and hungup!!!!! I had to pay for my xrays to be done again. They were extremely unprofessional. I will not be back.

Western Dental didnt abide by the contract they had with Delta Dental, screwing me over $1500 and sending it over to collections while refusing to acknowledge the letters sent by Delta Dental to reimburse my overpayments and to abide by the EOB that was sent to their office. It almost feels like this corporation is being run by the mafia with the accountant yelling at me to pay up and the office dodging all of Delta Dentals calls, emails, and faxes. I have a feeling they overcharge customers who dont know better... I personally wasnt aware of these charges till my insurance agents brought it to my attention. These guys are crooks and find loopholes to overcharge their customers as much as they want. Please put them out of business, they dont belong in America.

Kind and comfortable cant ask for more from a dentist

They keep rescheduling my appointments for ortho, sometimes twice in a row. If I knew that was going to happen I would have never come here. Of course they got my money now so what do they care?

I had called a week ago to set up an appointment whoever I talked to on the phone told me they took my medicaid. So today when I get there they tell me that they take blue cross medicaid not anthem which is what I have. On the phone I verified my insurance number. So now I still have a painful hole in my filling and no one to help. Dont go here. They will also give you incorrect information over the phone.

My own personal experience with getting a root canal at this location was top notch. Dr. Martin and his assistant were both very professional, attentive and worked well together as a team. They started my root canal and shot multiple x-rays to evaluate their treatment in-progress, finishing relatively quickly and I was out the door. I was initially apprehensive about my visit because of previous dental experiences but I can honestly say this was the most stress-free dental treatment I have ever had in my life. Its easy for me to be critical but they did an outstanding job. Its been a few months since my visit and I am happily satisfied. I would recommend this clinic to friends & family.

I called on Saturday, 8/17/2020 for an emergency extraction of one of my molar teeth that has rotted down to the nerve. The call taker was a nice foreign lady who helped me book an appointment and told me that this dentistry accepted the medicaid that I have, after I had searched for 3 days prior for a dentist that accepted medicaid. My appointment was booked for the 17th, and I waited.I arrived for my emergency extraction, I went through the doors and to the front desk, gave my information and then was told that they no longer accept medicaid at the time. I am in blistering pain, and the only reason I can stand to type this is because of a hydrocodone my neighbor gave me when they saw me crying up my driveway.I have never felt so betrayed and lied to in my entire life.

Been coming here for 8 years or so. The girls in the front office are very unprofessional. They actually wanted to give me an estimate by Me pointing to witch tooth I thought I needed filled! In the front lobby! without seeing the dentist.😂 Ridiculous!! Not sure what’s going on but definitely low class no class service.

My experience today at Western dental on E. Prater and East McCarran was absolutely amazing. The entire staff was truly professional, friendly, educated, and knew exactly what they were doing. The Orthodontists/Dentists were 2nd to none in their skills. Im having major work done on my teeth and they are going to make sure it gets done right the 1st time. The receptionists at the front desk were able to answer every question I had, and was able to adjust my appointment to an earlier time at my request. A team of true professionals. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to take care of my specific needs. The work was great quality and faster thanexpected. The anesthesia worked quickly and I had very little residual pain. My friends recommended them and I would highly recommend this office.

I have a trade with another dentist through my job but they dont take care of wisdom teeth. I went to Western Dental because I had heard that they are very understanding with payment options. I got an appointment in 4 days from when I called I went in for an exam and they agreed my wisdom teeth needed to be removed. They said the oral surgeon only comes once a month to do tooth extractions and that the next week he was coming. I went in and we took care of the financial part very quickly. I then got taken back and was given shots to numb my mouth and I sat there another 40 minutes until the oral surgeon came. He had nice bedside manner and was quick, another 20 minutes and all 4 of my wisdom teeth had been extracted.Overall everyone in the office was courteous and I was attended to very quickly. I was happy with my care there.

I showed up at 9:40 am for my 10:00 am appointment on 5/13/19. There was only one other person in the waiting room, and I waited until 11:10 am before walking out. The women at the desk were polite, but clearly this was typical for them. When I asked to reschedule because it had been over an hour the responded Oh sure! with no sign of understanding that waiting that long is absolutely ridiculous. Especially as a first time patient. Today I received a text that says our records indicate that you missed your appointment. That really made me mad. Their records should indicate that I sat there for an hour and a half and no one cared.

Working on fixing an exposed bone that keeps wanting to come out of my gums but the Doc is doing a fantastic job and is a patient man who is easy going and a great guy. Hes working very well with me independently.The beautiful ladies at the front desk are professional and super helpful.Not gonna lie. I reckon ive been avoiding the dentist all my life because it gives me anxiety and when i come here its a breeze. An appointment was made after a visit last month. Within an hour they called and says that they dont have the impression ready. The point in having an appointment is to schedule and plan what to do do such as taking a day off from work. It is of course a common practice that they will bill a patient once they miss an apppintment. So are they paying the patient for making them miss work because of them. Also, they billed us twice for a contract that was established and signed. Upon talking to them, they are very rude and the reasoning is very unprofessional. PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!

The staff is nice but the general dentistry dentist is very rude! The process to get a referral to a dental surgeon is ridiculous! I have a huge hole in my tooth from a filling coming out and the nerve is exposed and it’s been 2 weeks and they still haven’t sent the referral to the oral surgeon. They still haven’t sent anything to the insurance company so they can’t approve anything. This place is terrible

Well, it looks like Covid 19 has managed to make an otherwise good into an incompetent establishment. Recently, I changed my dental insurance and called in nearly two weeks ago to make appointments for my entire family since it has been nearly 18 months since my last checkup. I was told at the time that they do accept my insurance. My appointments were for the 7th and 8th of July. About 24 hours prior to my appointment on the 7th (6th July), they called to say that they didnt accept my insurance. I proceeded to tell them to cancel all of my appointments. Anyway, today the 8th of July, I received a call from them inquiring as to why I didnt show up for my appointments yesterday? Is this frustration or what? Fortunately for me, I took down the names of the receptionist and manager for just such incompetence.

From the very beginning I was scared to death to go back to the dentist. I had many bad experiences one being when I was a young teenager with 4 impacted wisdom teeth. Had to be the most painful experience Ive ever had in my life. In fact the last visit I had the dental hygienist had a fight with the dentist and physically pushed away from me as he was drilling my tooth. I feel I have enough for a great best selling book with the experiences Ive had in the dentists office.Well it was many years later and there I was a 65 year old senior citizen wishing for help because all my teeth were falling out at a rapid pace. In fact 1 week after I had my x-rays done another tooth had fallen out as I waited for my turn to get tooth extractions, and approval from my insurance company as the preparation stage was continuing. As I was recooperating from the removal of my 5 remaining teeth and multiple broken ones under my gums that were infected (about 25 I think), I was fitted with the dentures. Theresa had sculpted them especially for me telling me she was going to make sure they were ready for my 65th birthday later that month. The staff was startled to see what I looked like when the dentures were applied. I had a perfect set of real teeth. In fact they all stood looking at them at every angle. I was just as amazed to see my new teeth (dentures as everyone calls them) and momentarily forgot about the dental tooth removal procedure I had just received. She gave me a list of things I could do or not do and told me to come back whenever I had problems or had to refit the dentures because of gum shrinkage or other factors. Each time I went back Theresa treated me like I was one of the family and always greeted me with a friendly smile making me feel relaxed and not tensed. (A miracle considering how I felt when I first entered the Western Dental front doors.)I have one procedure left and to tell the truth I feel a little sad not being able to go back to say hi. To me I felt they had saved my life, because I had sunk to the lowest depression I had ever had in my life and now I could smile again and feel like a real person again. So whatever youre paying her is not enough for the incredible job she does doing her job and making patients feel safe and at home.Thank you Theress

This office would not give an estimate of charges for a tooth extraction prior to incurring charges. I have had teeth pulled before, and have never had pain like that before. The dentist must have scraped the tooth next to the broken tooth that was pulled.

Worst experience ever when 4 yrs later I get a collections notice for over $1000 when I paid everything every visit.... this place is a joke, also was told she would be done with her braces a year sooner than it actually did. I cannot even begin to express the gratitude I have for Dr. Martin. He made obtaining dentures possible for me when every other dentist would look at my X-rays and tell me I needed an oral surgeon. He did all the the work himself without putting me through much pain at all. He is without a doubt my favorite dentist and I will continue to go to him for many years to come. His staff are some of the best and most professional Ive come across lately ( and I have had many visits and consultations prior to their service, I would stay as far away from Absolute dental as possible unless you like the pressure tactics most normally associated with purchasing a car.). A special shout out to Greta for helping me with my AFLAC claims process. Michael, Jamie, Sal and sweet Jasmine are all amazing and I would highly recommend this place for any dental needs!

At first, I was pleased to get a four oclock appointment on a Friday to get a lost filling repaired. I even took time off work to come in 30 minuets early after receiving a call requesting I do so. However, after the courteous staff x-rayed me, I was escorted to the front of the office. I was confused but thought, Oh they just want me to pay first. Then I was asked when I wanted to schedule my next appointment. Dr. Husbands then told me he refused to do my filling that day because he wanted to go home. The dirty floors of the office were somewhat unsettling, but I was truly shocked that a medical professional could show such disregard for my well being. Dr. Husbands could care less that he put me at risk by sending me out of the office with a lost filling and a gaping hole in my tooth! Not only did he waste my time, but also my only chance to have my filling repaired before the weekend. I have never been so hurt and shocked by a doctors total lack of ethics. Avoid this place at all costs!

Honestly I do not recommend this office at all.They have horrible customer service. The one in sparks is the worse the manager that works there makes you feel bad and wont even listen to what you have to say. When you also call the 1800 number they talk over you when you are trying explain to them what is wrong! On top of that they tell you one thing on the 1800 number and another in person.I had to go to a different dentist to get another opinion due to them trying to put crowns on first instead of my braces! Also turned out to be that they didnt finish the job with me and I paid every single time I was going. They ended up sending me a letter just now that Im in collection do to me not paying them back in 2017. When I called i had one helpful guy who looked into the account and told me my act went on audit in September of 2017 and I had a balance due of $0.0. So here I am now trying to see whats going on and have been on hold transfer back to back and get no help! Every thing i had done at western dental had to get re done With another dental office because it was not done correctly. I would never recommend this office at all. Or this place for ur teeth to get work done. Horrible customer service and they will try to charge you more money years later.

They only get 1 star because the receptionists were friendly. On my day off I went to an appointment as a new patient. Called ahead and gave them my insurance information so everything would be ready to go.I filled out the paperwork and waited an hour. I finally went up to the desk to see what the holdup was, she came back and told me they were *almost* ready for me.Appointments are reservations to be seen at a certain time, which I was not. Western Dental was a waste of my time and gas.I highly recommend staying away from this dental office.

I recently had a crown done at Western Dental. I walked in there on a set of drumsticks meaning Im a big chicken when it comes to the dentist. Dr. Martin made me feel so relaxed by reminding me that dental practices have come a long way since I was a kid and that the only thing they can never change is the shots to numb my mouth. He took his time and was very knowledged of my teeth. I really appreciated the general concern he took to make sure I was ok threw out my procedure. He was right after I was numb it was a cake walk. Im not sure if this one visit will undue years of being dentists scared but its a great start. Thank you so much. I look forward to my next visit.

They get the job done, but be vigilant the desk staff can lose your appointment. Dentures need anchoring so get in early & save your lower Canines. Many issues, many unecessary appointments where Dr. looked in my mouth & said ok set another appointment. So be sure to have an itinerary/plan.

I recently went to Western Dental for an exam with unfortunate news about my teeth that I needed multiple work done and it was going to be quite costly more than I could afford all at once. Western Dental set me up with a great payment plan that I will be able to comfortably afford and be able to pay off in a good amount of time. They were very flexible. I went back two weeks later to have 3 root canals and 4 crown worked/put on my four front teeth. I was there for quite a while due to all the work I needed to have done, usually thats a dreadful time having to be sitting in a dentist chair for hours but I have to say Dr. Husbands and Dental assistant Maria made it very comfortable for me. They were very professional and gentle and are a great team. I will recommend them to anyone looking for dental care and plan to stay with Western Dental for the rest of my dental care. This office of western dental will not provide any after hours assistance to their patients. They will not even speak to their patients if you call the after hours emergency line, nothing more than leaving it to an answering service. Extremely poor services, go anywhere other than western dental.

The doctor told me that he would not help me because he had to leave early since it was a Friday and he didnt want to help. My Insurance was billed for services that were never rendered. I would go any where else but here!

Worst ortho in town Most bad experience for my son---They allowed his teeth to lose enamel with the braces they put on without informing me.. His front teeth were so bad had had to have 5 multiple crowns (I had done at another office) The enamel also has come off the bottom teeth also (he is partly to blame for drinking soda) but the dentist there never informed me that he needed a cleaning right away or his teeth would get damaged. I was getting him regular cleanings and exams. This office does not pay attention to their clients needs. They owe me money back from all the cash I gave them upfront over four thousand....Of course they have not given me back any cash
