Made the mistake of trusting Mini Storage Depot while on a tight budget. Their software inadvertently charges more than what is in the contract. Left a message about their software issues, and havent got a response yet. Will be cancelling my unit by the end of the week.Update***Got call from front desk clerk. Also found out I was also being charged an extra $9 for insurance, even though I submitted documentation that the unit would be insured through my house insurance. That extra $24 Mini Storage depot withdrawn from my bank triggered a fee of $37. So $61 in unnecessary fees so far, and I have only been there a week! July 26 start date.

Theyre raising your rates after a year and they are expensive already

Monthly rent was just increased, but it is still one of the nicest storage places near by.

Had RV in storage for 3 years under camera surveillance...then in oast month RV vandalized...& conviently the cameras were NOR ON MY CAMPER

I work for Move Eaze as a driver and mover. Its nice working at a storage facility that has the room for bigger box trucks to move around. That allows for my team to work more efficiently and thats appreciated from both my team and the customers that we work with who have inventory in storage.

My husband has a unit out there and when it snowed a few days ago he got stuck cause it was not plowed and then the gate was acting up and wouldnt let him in so not only did he get stuck in the gate would not let him in but we also had to pay to have someone pull him out. But otherwise its been good.

Needed short term storage for my long distance move. The whole office was nothing but professional and courteous working with me during social distancing. Even got a follow up call about my unit being unlocked and making sure I knew about it (which I did, we were making multiple trips that day). Would recommend them 100% Thank you

I love that the storage facility is right off the freeway, it makes it very conveniently located. I recently relocated to South Bend and needed a couple storage units. I picked Mini Storage Depot because their rates where very competitive and their customer service was outstanding. The gals in the office were so kind, professional and helpful! They gave me great suggestions as far as things to do locally and were very accommodating. Last minute on Saturday, I needed an additional storage unit and Mary was quick and amazing. Thank you!

I wish I can give this place a no star rating. I requested a storage unit online on May 16, 2019 and needed to move storage bins on May 24, 2019. I have not received any type of communication from this business except for the automatic services giving me a confirmation number. The email address for this business does not work. I receive emails that my messages were kicked back to me. I have called this establishment more than enough times to verify our confirmation number and storage unit. I do not recommend this place. Unprofessional follow-up. Not reliable. Will be contacting the better business bureau for a complaint.

The gate always opens easily and the storage units are clean and their doors open easily. When I had a problem with a lock not opening when I hadnt opened it for five years, the staff person tried several different methods to open the lock or cut it off by hand before summoning someone to cut it off with a grinder. The facility also sells locks and storage boxes for a reasonable price.

I needed a storage unit in the South Bend area, and found this one was a good location for me. The manager set me up with a good deal, was very friendly and helpful. She was transparent with company policy and expectations. I was able to rent my unit quickly and without any issues. I only needed it for a couple months, but was glad that I went with this company.

Mini Storage Depot has been great. They have a very secure location that is fenced in with coded gate access and a 24 hour video surveillance system. Mary has been excellent to work with.

Nice units, but they can be quite pushy when calling or attempting to collect a late payment. They also dont accept partial payments of any kind.
