This place is beautiful for tractor trailer access...Delivered a 1950 Studebaker pickup to its new owner. If I lived in South Bend, I certainly would give serious consideration to storing my own cars here.

We went there to pick up a U-haul rental. I was mixed up on some of my directions, but the gentlemen there were super helpful and kind. And the U-haul worked as expected and got the job done. Great!

We went there to rent a U-haul for a local move from one campus location to another. Have no experience with the self-storage side of the business. The location is relatively close to the Notre Dame campus, easy to find and easy to work with. The manager was extremely nice and very helpful. The truck was ready and functioned as it should have. We originally planned to get it before the office opened at 9:00 a.m., so went through the process of downloading the app and creating a login so that we could get the truck and be on our way earlier in the day. The app was a complete disaster. We got stuck on the screen that said we had to turn on the phones location service in order to proceed further, even though the GPS was already on. Despite multiple reloads, logging out and logging back in, etc, we were unable to make it work. We had to wait for the office to open and then go in and complete the registration in person. In addition, we were told we had to return the truck with a full tank of gas, so even though we only drove it 8 mi we filled it up before bringing it back. It took 4 gallons of gas, at $3 a gallon. When we got back the manager told us that if we drove that few miles we really didnt need to top it off at all. I asked if he would then wave the mileage fee of $0.79 a mile, in exchange for the gift of $12 of gas that we gave him. He would not do that. So overall the experience was useful in that it got us the move we needed and the truck worked fine, but there were some negatives.

Sunday hours are wrong. Lead me to pay an extra day for a uhaul when I tried to return a day early. Tried explaining this and asked if I could still return it the day it was due (it was 5:50 PM - they close at 6 PM), but was told no.

Hands down the best storage facility around! Clean, well lit, reasonable prices and a friendly helpful staff. I wont go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

I don’t have a lot of good things to say about this storage place because of the staff, there was a particular person that I couldn’t believe the way I was talked to, I felt as I was inconveniencing her, it’s a shame that some people don’t realize there attitude affects business and I wouldn’t store my vehicle there ever again!
