VERY RUDE!!!! Lady who was working on my nails was very aggressive and rude! My friend was cut badly by the same lady because she was in a constant rush! Mu friend and I got the same thing done and I was charged 8$ more for no reason. When I asked the lady at the front counter she ignored me. Do not waste your time here. Horrible experience!

My mani/pedi was amazing the first time I went so I decided to come back. TIA is the most unprofessional nail tech I’ve ever met me. I asked her to shape my nail differently and she said “have you seen your nails? Your nails are flat.” She also refused to fix a nail I said was too wide. And then the lady who replaced her (because we had enough of each other) told me to get my nails done before I go on vacation. I am not on vacation. Will NEVER be back.

Ive only been twice but, both times the service was awesome. My only wish would be that they have a couple of more workers in the evening.

Lucky Nails does nails right! I love them! They are a family owned and operated salon centrally located in Baton Rouge. They are always kind and do a professional job.

I came to this place because of the reviews so I was surprised that once I got there the service was HORRIBLE!! My nail tech seemed to be about 16 years old and I’m sure didn’t even have a cosmetologist license. She was rushing, handling me extremely aggressive, very rude, and then became verbally aggressive once I said I do not like my nail job. The person who did my pedicure burned me with the water, the stones, and then the towel was so hot it felt as if it scorched my leg. I WILL NEVER return to this place again !!!!

We LOVE Lucky Nails! The manicurists are so nice and give really good hand/foot massages. Came here for my grandmothers 91st birthday and had a ball :)

OVERRATED. I visited because of the ratings and they are overrated based on the service. A friend of mine and I went in for pedicures. My provider skipped around, did some things just to one foot and didnt do a very good job sloughing and really rushed through that process. Then she rubbed my legs so hard I had bruising the next day!! The hot stones were a joke - again only used one on one leg. The first one she just placed under my foot and it was too hot to rest my foot on even after two minutes. Polish job was decent. We went at 5:15 pm, by the time I went to bed my legs and feet were super scaly and dry - NOT what you expect after paying for an upgraded pedicure. The only reason my feet and legs look any kind of decent was because I put on body butter and foot lotion with socks overnight. They were very cordial and nice, but Im not sure Ill be back. My friend said her chair didnt have a massager and she also agreed that our pedicures would rate a C or B minus at best.

They are always friendly, does an awesome job on your pedicure and of course is very popular for the dip nails. This is my second time getting the dip and I love it, lasted a month.

Great Experience and affordable pricing

Love it! Theres usually a long wait when they first open on the weekends, but if you go in the afternoon they are usually pretty quick. Ive been getting the dip nails done there for some time and my nails look great every time. I love that I can go 4 to 5 weeks in between getting my nails done, and they will still look great!

Love this place! Ive never had a bad experience with them, even after I broke one of my nails through the center of the bed, they treated it with care and didnt hurt my finger. I would recommend Lucky Nails to anyone and everyone and if you have to wait it is worth the wait!!!!

I love the dip!!! What I didnt like was how they jerk your hand around and the unevenness of my nails. I asked could she fix it and she said oh look good. On my first visit I was treated wonderfully. The staff was great. When I went back in three weeks it was different. The lady who did my nails was not pleasant she jerk my hand around and she did not lotion my hands at the end of my session. The first time I went i was in uniform which showed where I work and my position (NP) . This time I went I was in my workout clothes, and I guess I didnt look like I have money so I was treated a different way . So for that Im not going back . There should never be a stereotype. Me and one other black women were both at a lost of words on how we were treated vs the white women. Everyone should be treated the same no matter what they look like . PERIOD !!! IF YOU DONT WANT CERTAIN PEOPLE COMING IN JUST DO US A FAVOR AND PUT A SIGN ON THE DOOR . my money will not everrrrrrr go there again!!! #rude

First time here and I enjoyed it. I got a pedicure which, to me, was reasonably price. I was not rushed. Only two cons which were when I walked in, there was a smell and they kept asking if i wanted my finger nails done and made comments to me about how short they are. Overall, good experience. I would come back.

This place is over rated, my experience was horrible, as a previous rater stated, they profile their customers, there were lots of .....in there at the time I went, and I observe the selective customer service aswell, the African Americans were treated totally different than the others that were in there at the time, everytime a certain group of people would exit the exit greeting was “Thank You mammm” when a African American was finish with their services being rendered, when they would exit, it was a “PURE SILENCE “ the nail tech that done my nails was a very small, petite lady that was throwing the nail items around as if she was tired, ready to go, and digested with her job, she tried to apply lotion to my hands at the end of a shellac set and the nail tech next her screamed “nooo” that just lets me know that the tech that was doing my nails were not knowledgeable, This was the worst nail service experience that I have had in all my years of nail pampering.This clearly is a racist spot and I would never spend a dime there or advise any other potential customer to go there. HORRIBLE Service, I only went there to give them a try being that my nail salon of 17 years was booked and I was headed to an event . Do not spend your dollars with a group of people that can be so unprofessional.

Loved this place. Great customer service and the work is top quality. I havent had my nails done in many years and felt I needed a little pick me up. I googled them and decided to try it out because of the great reviews and I was definitely impressed. Paula did my SNS manicure and I have admired my nails each day since. Cant wait to go back.

My friend told me about this nail salon and I will never go anywhere else! I love their customer service, huge color selection, and their work even more. I get the SNS dip powder. It’s a bit more expensive but it lasts for weeks to a month. I get compliments on my nails all the time. Shelia is my favorite. She does really good eyebrows too. The only down side is that they’re usually really busy, even during the week, but that’s because they’re the best in town.

Very nice employees, but my nail polish lasted 2 days and I was not hard on my hands. Not to mention it was full of bubbles and didnt cover my entire nail. They may be great at other services, but I would avoid getting my nails painted there again.

So...I decided to come here after reading all of the good reviews, but I am going to be honest. The best nail salon IMO was M&M nails on Bluebonnet, but they are closed now, and it has been a scavenger hunt trying to find a good salon. I went in for a Shellac mani, but the nail tech did a rush job. I wont be coming back. Anyone knows where they do great nails please let a sista know!!!

The wait was kind of long, but I had the day free so it did not bother me. I loved the massaging chair and spa pedicure. They soak your feet with minerals from the dead sea, massaged and lotioned your feet and calves with hot stones then wrapped your feet with hot towels. My feet were throughly pampered, soft, and smooth. The staff is very friendly. The environment is very relaxing. I went weeks ago and my pedicure still looks good. Really enjoyed my experience and will visit again.

I honestly dont care how well they do nails, the customer service is HORRIBLE! Waited an hour and 20 mins here! Leaving without my nails done! After an hour I ask how much longer the wait was, she tells me that only one tech knows how to do a full acrylic set! So I wait 20 more minutes! Still no nails! Wouldnt go back here if it was life or death! Thanks for wasting my time

I wanted a pedicure and acrylic nails. I haven’t been able to find anyone who does a good job. I called a few places in the area, some didnt even announce the name of their salon, just...Hello. Others were just rude, til I came across Lucky Nails. The kind welcoming voice told me I could come in now, Ive heard that before and waited over an hour. When I arrived, I was welcomed, brought straight to a Pedi relaxing chair. The sweet girl asked if I liked what she was going, yes, it was the best Pedi Ive ever had. My acrylic nail was gorgeous, they have lasted 4 weeks. Im going back tomorrow for both. The people are so sweet, prices are great, service and their talent is amazing.

Really, really used to love this place! Before my experience today, I didnt believe the negative reviews posted on here as I had always had pleasant experiences at Lucky Nails. But after my experience today, I will not be back.Today around 1:00 PM, a friend and I went to get our nails done. After picking our colors and sitting down, I told the woman 3 times that I wanted the dip powder and a manicure to clean up around my cuticles/push them back etc. She started doing the dip first which I thought was weird, but thought ok well maybe shes going to do the manicure part after. No big deal.Before I could even get out of my mouth that I wanted my nails square shaped, she went to town filing down my nails way shorter and rounder than I wanted. As she continued, she was extremely rough and VERY rushed. She TORE up my cuticles with the drill. I pulled my hand back several times because she knicked me. She then told me let me know when its hot. When she was finishing the dip she was quite literally picking up my hand and throwing it in front of the fan. Then she says, Done.I then explained to her that I wanted a manicure too, which made her mad. She started telling me that was only for Gel Nails. I explained to her that I told her 3 separate times I wanted a manicure and thought shed do it last. She goes and gets another woman who rudely tells me its going to be $5. I said the money wasnt a big deal at all that I wanted it done. The second woman (Who I assume is the Owner/Manager) now takes over and goes to get the supplies.While she is going to get the supplies, I am examining my nails because my cuticles are red, swollen, torn up, and feel like they have fever. I politely tell the 2nd woman that I am unhappy with the services because of the condition of my cuticles. I show them to her and SHE TELLS ME THAT I MUSTVE CAME IN THERE LIKE THAT!!? Really?! I told her I did not come in here like this and that her girl was extremely rushed and hurt me several times.She continued to deny it and scoffed at me. She then started talking about me to the other women in Vietnamese. No, I do not speak Vietnamese but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to read body language and pick up on key words. Her tone, facial expressions, and the other Vietnamese women staring at me said it all.I was then given a half ass manicure (the massage is usually my favorite part), charged full price, given no apology, and blamed for the workers mistakes.Before exiting, I not so politely told the woman to read her Google reviews because I was not the only person complaining about roughness and being rushed.NOTHING ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS RELAXING. Spend your money elsewhere.

Customer service was horrible, I went there for a pedicure and need a overlay over my two big toes. The overlay was so blotched and was unevenly shaped. I returned to have them fixed and the owner give me 8 and said they were busy... returned two week later to get a full set and was overcharged and was told they couldnt polish my twos because I had said that she blotched my toes. I was embarrassed and I will never return there.

The people were nice enough but I was very disappointed in my nails. I got gel nails and a manicure but the person doing did not remove most of my cuticles and made hang nails but did not clean them up. So my nails are not even fully covered. The shape of my nails are uneven and the shellac is bumpy with bubbles. She reapplied before it dried so the polish is uneven as well. Even though I kept asking the woman to redo certain nails she ignored me. Im very disappointed so Ill stick to my regular place.

I love this place. I only strayed away because they have a long wait when you catch them at the wrong time. Today was perfect! When I walked in 4 people were walking out so I had the whole place to myself for 15 minutes! I got a pedi and mani with SNS on my nails. I also got an eyebrow waxing and I love it!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this place on an early Tuesday afternoon lol.

I started getting SNS nails 8 weeks ago and my nails have grown tremendously !! The service is outstanding. Only nail salon I will go to in baton rouge, LA.

After telling the workers i was there for a mani and pedi they told me have a seat and wait. There was two customers and two employees. Instead of letting me wait in the pedicure chairs and allow for my feet to soak, they had me waiting in the waiting area. They were worried about the tv and gossiping more than doing their work. I waited for a long time before being served. They do not know how to handle a crowd.
