Ok gym for the price, but they need to replace some of the weights, renew the gym in general. You feel you entered a 1980 era

I wasn’t sure about this gym because of the reviews. However it’s very spacious and has a lot to offer. And the workers there were so nice.

The gym itself is very big with all the equipment I would ever need. They also gave me a quick tour of the place upon sign-up.The cancellation process is also very smooth. I went in to cancel the membership and filled a form. I somehow got charged a fee 4 months after the cancellation, but I called and the manager refunded me the money.

This gym stole my money DURING A PANDEMIC and has nasty employees with bad attitudes. Ive never had someone in customer service speak to me so poorly. Not to mention I only went to this gym out of convenience (location) - its run down and dirty. I would say you get what you pay for, but actually you get ripped off and still get less!

Great gym to work out at.

Great equipment, even better staff. A private cardio area; working sauna; locker room and showers; tanning; weight training in abundance. In fact, one of the few gyms out there still stacking dumbbells up to 120lbs. An all encompassing gym. But above all, the staff supports the facility with their professionalism and kindness. 5 stars!

I just got a membership today. I had a membership with LA Fitness, I love both gyms! LA is has larger community but this gym is local to me and very affordable! Im surprised with the great service as well!

Love this gym! Close to my house, friendly and amazing staff, Great woman’s section! And the new personal trainers @prolifters have changed my Life! Giving me more motivation, strength and good positive energy! Highly recommend!!!

Been working here and using the facilities for my own fitness journey for 6 years!! The community vibes in the classes are second-to-none, and the amenities are fantastic.

Be VERY CAREFUL. With this Gym. They are fraudulent. I signed up under the belief that it was a month to month thing with NO CONTRACT. I went twice and stopped going and they kept reaching out with a bill, I explained my position and asked them to cancel they said they cant cancel until I settle the outstanding bill. My intention is to let the bill fun for 20 years then well see each other in court. BIG BIG FRAUD. BEWARE!!!!

Absolutely frustrating and not human-- during the whole COVID-19 issue, this organization not only continues billing, but has no phone access so one can call to cancel. Their freeze policy is a two month minimum, and the cancellation has a 30 day minimum as well. I have been billed three times for a gym I CANT USE! They are taking advantage of regular people in a global crisis, when we should be coming together, for a few bucks. Absolutely disgusting and inappropriate behavior, a lack of decency. I dont even know what to do, as I continued getting billed (even the annual fee), and cant get a hold of them. Shameful!

I was a member here for years, near a decade. I liked it better when it was a Golds gym. The air conditioning has always sucked, the WiFi has always sucked, the place has always been filthy, and the employees seem to be more rude than they use to from what I hear. I’m having a really difficult time rejoining...but I need a place close by...

Clean, friendly. Facilities machines and weights in good order. Free parking.

Ive been going here regularly for about four months. It has some flaws such as the weights not being cleaned daily, but it has everything that you would need to follow one of the popular programs such as 531, NSuns, etc... I am looking into other gyms, but this one is sufficient enough to provide one with whatever workout program they choose to follow.

This gym is very good for people looking for a cheap, no nonsense gym, considering it is only $25/month or $12.5 of you can find a friend to join along on your membership. Personal training is expensive. Cleanliness and hygiene is about average plus being in the basement makes it dingy and stuffy at least not to my taste. Overall gym is good, they have all the machines placed in a very large area. They have many interesting group classes which are included in the membership.

Horrible new member experienceCharged a sign up fee that was never mentioned.Refused to honor their prices listed online.Staff members refuse to take responsibility for the extra, random charges.When I told I refuse to pay charges not included in contract I was threatened with them breaking my contract.Employee (Tyra) refused to communicate or supply supervisor name. Horrendous service. Expect to be treated with rudeness from staff.Besides the above, cleanliness is a serious issue at the gym. New members beware!

Use to be open 24 hours, but not anymore. Also, the overall feel is starting to be as a fitness gym. The newer equipment is geared more toward moving your own body weight. Not what I signed up for but its not too bad.

Pretty good gym. I come here when I’m in town on business. The only major downside is that all the machines make this weird, pointless sway motion that I still can’t get used to.

LOVE LOVE this Gym. LOVE the Zumba class on Tuesday nights but really wish they would limit the class size on it. It is one of the most popular classes and gets wicked full fast, 95% of the time it is always OVER full and thats a fire hazard and someone can get hurt. One of these days someone is gonna get kicked or hit and hurt. Please limit the class size because I always get there half hr before hand and get in line to be up front. People shouldnt be allowed to show up after class has started and jump up front almost knocking me over!

The only reason I still go to this gym is that its so close to my apartment and also its 24 hours. The equipment is old and not updated, rarely cleaned by both staff and gym users. The staff are rude and rarely there to help. I even tried the personal training, my trainer seemed more interested in talking to other people in the gym than helping me reach my goals, also I had to remind him to check my progress, it felt like he didnt even care. Even my roommate who had a concussion and couldnt work out they were rude to!Just all around bad experience, I think you can get a better deal for a lot less money.

Staying at a hotel next door and wanted to use the gym while here on business. I was happy to pay, but their policy is only to allow Massachusetts residents to use the gym. Ok, dont take my money.

Ive been with this gym for 7 years and they still have no problem nickle and diming me on my way out. I only stuck with it for its decent location and one decent class I liked. Other than that, the place is not that clean and the staff is rude and unattentive.

Rude staff, thats as far as i made it.I called ahead of time and verified that they offer a free trial, then went in and gave the guy at the front desk my ID and he checked the system and it went like this:Him: Have you been here before?Me: Well, when it was Golds gym I have (I had a membership from 3-4 years before)Him: Its the same ownership, thats why I asked! (in an accusatory tone) It shows Im the system that youve been here before!Me: Yes, I was here when it was Golds gym (not knowing what he was getting at)Him: Thats why I asked! It says youve been here before!Me: Ok (still not knowing what he was getting at)Him: Thats what I cant give you a pass!Me: Ok, what are the membership rates, and do you do month to monthHim: $29 a month and you pay first and last, and a $49 feeThat was it. No offer for a tour, no mention of how the gym improved since I was there no attempt to get be as a customer whatsoever. He acted like I was trying to scam them - how was I supposed to know that it was the same ownership and I couldnt get a new member pass?!Time to keep gym shopping

I like the Yoga and Spin class. WhenI first started going there I was able to workoutIn the regular exercise room, now its pack likeSardine. They need to expand the space.

The fitness meets my minimal needs, but my car got towed when I was parking there to use their service. I dont like to worry about my car getting tow while I work out, so I am not going back.

First, this place is a dump.The middle aged woman with the short gray hair who cleans the place in the morning is the rudest woman Ive ever met. She constantly walks into the mens locker room in the morning while were getting changed without so much as announcing herself and asking if its ok to enter. She just looks at you while your pants are down and numbly asks, are you changing? Then if you have the nerve to tell her shes acting inappropriately, she and her daughter will gang up on you while youre working out to tell you how rude YOU are! Outrageous. Canceled my membership because of these two ignoramuses.

Its got all the basics at a very decent rate - free weights, Hammer Strength, other decent machines, and the cardio stuff; showers are there and lockers.

Poor customer service, rude staff!If you ever had a membership when it was Golds gym don’t bother going to buy a pass for a day, they won’t sell it to you because it’s against their rules...I guess they don’t want your business if you’ve already previously used their gym.

If you want to get the straight dope on this gym, look up Golds Gym at the same address...but guess what, you wont be able to find it since the owner first closed it temporarily, which made Yelp delete that listing. Im guessing that either the national Golds Gym got wind of the massive amount of complaints this place was getting which hurts their national rep, and/or the owner thinks hes being clever by evading all the nasty reviews that his lousy business got while under the GG banner.In a nutshell: somewhat decent facility full of wannabe frat boy types hogging the squat racks but absymal service (nasty, rude, unhelpful staff) and deliberately CRIMINAL billing practices---if you are silly enough to sign up then be sure to use a Walmart refillable credit card that you can simply toss should you ever cancel your membership, or these crooks will deliberately continue to auto-charge you monthly AFTER you have gone through all the required steps to cancel. Basically you will need to pay a lawyer a hundred bucks or so to send them a cease and desist letter as well as cancel your credit card. (To be fair, a lot of the national chain gyms employ this shady business practice as well---thats why I tell my friends to just save themselves the hassle and go join a YMCA instead, which is a non-profit not a collection of evil, money-grubbing sociopaths.)

So disgusting not even funny. The place is like a dungeon and smells so bad. They only have 6 ellipticals. The cardio area is crammed in like an after thought. Tons of meat heads doing weights. The employee on duty was sleeping when I got there. The bathroom/locker room/showers are so nasty. There was a pool of standing water in both toilet stalls and the showers looked like they hadnt been cleaned in a year.

Passable, barely. And a boiler room operation. Watch your credit card!

Worst gym I have ever seen. It smells terrible, the staff is racist as hell, and just plain rude. I was from another golds location and unaware of the travel pass needed to go to another location. So I try to walk in and the lazy Puerto Rican oaf just said your not from here. You cant lift. Im like really I drove quite some time to be here. Nope denied. Dont EVER!!!!!! go here
