Did not have an appointment for pedicure but was told when I got there, someone be with you in just a minute, told me what chair to take. Some techs sitting over in manicure section talking, others working, some finishing up with other customers, 45 minutes later, another customer walks in, goes to a chair, in 2 minutes someone is there to do her pedicure. I put my shoes back on and as I am leaving the lady at the front says I am so sorry, I explained that i had been waiting 45 minutes, the other customer walked in and got immediate service. She said well she had an appointment, I said I know I didnt but it didnt seem to be a problem when I got here and the ones sitting around talking had ample time to do my pedicure before other customer got here. This used to be my go to place but in the past few months, their service, friendliness and quality has gone down hill. I wont be going back.

Unless you have an appt you will wait for a while but its worth it. They do a great job and they are funny. I go every 2 weeks.

I had a good experience except for the fact I had an appointment at 5:30 and I wasn’t seen until 6:25 other than that it was great!! The lady doing my nails was very nice and she did a great job!! Definitely recommend!!!👍

I love it here my second time coming and I live an hour away,, and tony is the best,.it’s worth coming here and getting your nails done !

I wanted to love this place, being that I was referred by someone. However, I had to “coach” the nail tech Kevin on how to paint ALL of my nail (including the sides). He tried to convince me my “design wouldn’t look good on short, square nails”.I was there 2hrs & only got my nails done, when I intended to get a mani and pedi, but I couldn’t wait any longer. Also, I paid $60 when all I got was an overlay with one finger design. Nice ambiance, but they’re overpriced & a little too opinionated for my liking.

I went today and had an appointment with my sister at 12:30 and we waited 45 minutes. I got mine done and it wasn’t what I asked for and my sister was seen 30 minutes after. Even though we had an appointment people were walking in with no appointment and getting seen before us.

I and 3 friends went to this business to get our nails done; 2 fill ins and 2 full sets. I asked if they had time to do 4? “Yes we do.” We all entered, picked out colors, waited to be told where to be seated. 3 were seated. I was not. The female at the door had an attitude from the time she opened the door to the time she gave direction to pick out a color. I stood to the side with my color as directed for 10 minutes while others walked around, all while nobody gave direction to me, asked if I was ready, or acknowledge my presence. I decided to leave. After I left one of the females doing a friends nails said “rude.” Excuse me?! All I did was get tired of waiting for a service and told my daughter I would see her at home, left. The next time you choose to open your mouth about a customer you need to remember A-that we all came together. B-that they’re going to repeat what you said. C-you just lost 4 customers. Will never go back to this place. It’s overpriced anyway!

I’ve had my nails done three times. The first time was great. The next two times the job looked sloppy. I just do not understand doing a sloppy job. My pedicure was a waste. Horrible nail polish job. Will go elsewhere.

Seems I am always commenting on someones Gorgeous Nails..then they tell me they go to Gorgeous Nails.. so I tried them today and Jenny did the most beautiful job i-will-be-back!!Clean and Friendly Salon!!

They take appointments and never have any problems with my nails breaking or any fungus!

Called them to set up a nail appointment and the receptionist confirmed it for me. I go in at 11am just to be seated for 40 minutes. the receptionist needs to stop lying through the phone. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! bad time management and organization at the front desk.

Beautiful shop! The shop is always nice and clean. The technicians are friendly. The prices are reasonable. They are fast and you can get an appointment!

Pedicure was good and so was the massage chair.

Was good at first but this place is going downhill with service. On a few occasions, there clearly have not been enough people working with very long wait times. New people are being brought in that do not have the same quality of work. Im quite disappointed because I wouldve given this 5 stars several months ago. The inside is decorated nicely though. Some techs spend too much time on their mobile devices though.

They get really busy so they tend to try to rush on their work to get people out quicker... not the experience I was looking forward to.

God a classic pedicure and gel polish manicure. During the pedicure she scrubbed so hard the bottom of my foot is raw. And during the manicure she cut so far back on my cuticle that I bled for over 5 minutes. She didnt cover the entire nail with polish and flooded my cuticle line with polish also. After paying 65 dollars I expected a little better than what I got.

They did a pretty good job, had a reservation but still waited a while. Front desk associate could be nicer and more approachable

When I first started going there the service was good. They were never really friendly or talkative but I paid it no mind. I have had my nail break at least 4 times over the year. I still went there. Well around the summer their work begin to slack off. Eyebrows were not even or nails. One day after I got my nails done one begin to split and because I have things to do I didnt go back the very next day. It eventually split all the way across. They do not like to use their gel. I went to get it fixed and had to deal with a very shocking nasty attitude from the guy who is Jennys partner. He tried to yank and throw my hand around. He told me to stick my hand back in the UV light knowing it burns for a few seconds. Then tried to charge me when the nail was not even with the other one. I gave them so many chances and to be treated like that was not cool. I will not be going back. They dont even do designs so they are not worth ignoring the attitude. I cant post the pictures of how it looked when he finished but it was not fixed correctly.

Appointments are very recommended due to many walkins and to insure a good service. I absolutely love jenny she did my nails just like i want them i recommend!

Been going there almost a year for nails and pedi. Well today was the second time I we t for pedi a d was told both times no wait can come now. 1st time was told waited 40 minutes today after 30 min I got up and left. When I did get them done they did a great job however when being told no wait come now and I show up and have to wait 30 plus minutes it gets old

Let me start off by saying this .... ITS A WASTE OF MONEY. Last 3 times I’ve been there they’ve messed something up. I just had my very last visit with them and they made 1 nail bigger than the other. They rush and do not take their time. And don’t make sure everything is right. And for pedicures with gel...$72 is crazy for toes. Don’t recommend anyone going there for anything. Terrible experiences. Unfortunate now I have to hunt for a good nail salon AGAIN

Have been going to Gorgeous for some time now, best service I have gotten in the Smithfield area. My nails at 4 weeks still look just was well as the day I have them done. On my way there now!!!

If you’re someone of color, you’re gonna have to sit a long time, even if you have an appointment.I made an appt for 11:30 and walked out at 12:30 when I realized that walk ins were getting serviced before me.I had my feet soaking in water for a whole hour, when they realized I was walking out a guy approached me and told me he could do my pedi I told him “no the person on chair #1 is already being serviced and she just got here” he said she had appt at 12 and I immediately told him I had one at 11:30 (I got there before 11:30) and I wasn’t the only Hispanic waiting, there were more ladies sitting there with soaked feet.And I’m not the only one who realized this, others in there were making comments about it, that’s when I took a minute to observe and noticed that 3 people who had walked in after me were already being serviced. Appointments are useless!!!!Oh and did I forget to mention that their receptionist made them aware multiple times that I had an appointment, and she kept checking in with me telling me she had already reminded them and that I would be next. I give her credit for trying, it was totally out of her hands. -thanks Jenny!
