I really did not like having to make that first phone call to a kind of call center but the person on the other end handled it very well and was very informative. Then when our local Aspen Dental contacted me they were very polite and friendly and made the whole process worth it. When I went for my first appointment they were very thorough and every person I came in contact with was very good at explaining everything. When I got to see the Dentist She was Great! walked me through all my options and set me up to talk cost with them as well. It was all painless! Great place!

Im from New Mexico, and traveled to Sioux City Iowa on business.I had a dental emergency, which could be stressful in any situation.The folks at Aspen dental are professional, efficient and kind. I cant say enough good things about them.They got me in quickly and took care of my issue within an hour on a walk in basis. I was expecting to wait longer.Dr. Clark rocks!!!! She knows her stuff, and I highly recommend her to anyone for their regular dental needs.

Super friendly group of people. The equipment is new and people friendly so minimal pain with x-rays etc. Honest and knowledgeable, and answered all our questions.

This practice is the gold standard of dental care in my opinion. I personally have quite a fear of going to the dentist and that fear has been totally eased by Aspen Dental. From the first visit, I was met with no judgement, caring staff, and an office manager that went above and beyond to explain the cost and payment arrangements with me. Dr. Koh and team are simply fantastic and I highly recommend Aspen to anyone with a fear of dentists.

I walk in to the one at the Commerce building and all the girls know me by name. Its actually pretty nice, because it makes you feel good that they remember you and not just only one of them its like 5 or 6 of them. Very friendly staff. They were able to get me in to the oral surgeon quickly, and I was in a lot of pain so this was very appreciated. After the procedure the oral surgeon changed a couple codes for my services or whatever, and they refunded me some of my money, so that was a very pleasant surprise as well, considering a lot of places probably would have just kept it the same. Only piece of constructive criticism- maybe give wisdom tooth procedure patients the information AFTER the procedure. I was so anxious I know I forgot over half of what the oral surgeon told me before starting the procedure. Some information was in the instructions sent home, but it wasn’t as thorough as everything he had discussed such as when to expect the stitch to come out, dry socket and preventing it, infection, etc. I think I would have been able to focus better afterwards, although I suppose some patients are groggy and not listening afterwards. Very positive experience overall.

The employees were just great, they were careful with making sure that we were safe from the virus. Then they were great at taking care of dealing with my mother and explained everything to her. Genny was very good at explaining the financial part of the visit and very helpful with everything.

Because of Covid 19 my dental plan had to be changed. I paid in full for upper dentures in Sept 2019 and still havent completed the process! Now instead of 4 crowns the dentist told me I need a partial on my lower and the cost is $2400 when I only paid $2100 for my upper denture! Because I had a little bleeding at the gums when they cleaned my teeth the dentist scolded me and told me I need to brush 5x a day! I have always had a positive experience including the teeth removal until yest!

I switched Dentist to Aspen Dental and I had my first appointment yesterday. They checked all me teeth and found some bad fillings, made appointments in 1 week to get them fixed. They also cleaned my teeth to. Fast forward 4 hours later I was eating a taco and one of those fillings fell out, I called Aspen immediately as this has been a troublesome tooth that has been filled 3 times before by a not so go dentist elsewhere...they called me back within 5 minutes, got me in within an hour and fixed my tooth. I AM SO THANKFUL .Tooth pain is the worst and everyone at this office truly cared about me and my mouth issues.. Definitely spreading the word and referring yall to everyone I know.. I just wish I would of used you guys sooner :-)

I went in February of 2019 and the on call dentist was prepping me for a crown. He used his arm to push my jaw open farther than it would normally go despite knowing that I have tmj. The block in my mouth was not even touching my teeth anymore. Since then I have had very severe jaw pain that went from every now and then to constant where i have to take 600-800 mg of Tylenol every 6 hours, use a facial roller to massage my jaw 3 times a day, and get my jaw adjusted by a chiropractor twice a week. I eat mostly soft food, but the pain is still severe. I notified them of this pain within a few weeks and again several times over a few months, and they offered to refund me $500 from what I paid, but that never happened. They made up an excuse months later that my insurance covered all but $500 despite calling them in advance to verify what they would cover. The dentist and dental assistant told me the on call dentist has been known to put his knee on patients for leverage as well, so I’m sure I’m not the only one he has hurt. They’ve done nothing to alleviate my pain or to rectify this situation.Update: I’ve switched to a different dentist who confirmed my jaw was dislocated during the procedure. The disc between the joints was out and my jaw joint has degenerated since. I now have to see a jaw specialist, and they have confirmed this as well. I will have to pay 8K to have this corrected because the on call dentist was unreasonably aggressive with me.

Great staff, very friendly and efficient. My only issue is the actual dentist doesnt always check the patients in the order the staff has prepared them. She just starts on the patient in the first chair she comes to even though others have been waiting much longer. This has happened twice leaving me to wait sometimes 45 minutes to an hour, after the assistant has prepared me the 5 minutes with the doctor. My time is just as valuable as the other patients. Need better organization system for this stage of the visit.

This was the absolute best experience Ive ever had in any medical establishment in my life! All of the staff from receptionist to radiologist to hygienist to dentist to billing. They were all great! They were all so welcoming and engaging.

They are extremely thorough with their diagnosis process and more than willing to help make arrangements in order to pay for the procedures done.Just got my temporary bottom plate. I am extremely pleased with the fit, feel, and the way it looks. They matched it perfectly with my upper plate.Dr. Clark is an amazing dentist. Shes very gentle and makes sure youre completely comfortable before, during, and after the surgery. Very excited to get back there to get my permanent dentures.

Could not have a a better experience from reception to check out. Friendly, helpful, and professional in every aspect. Almost made a trip to the dentist enjoyable. Reasonable cost for service, too.

I was very pleased with my experience, this is my first time in a little over sixteen years being to the dentist I went in for an emergency check up for my wisdom teeth. They were really quick and thorough found out that I have 5 wisdom teeth that need to be removed. Which sucks but they were really friendly and reassuring that everything would be fine, would definitely recommend Aspen dental to anyone.

When i first walked into Aspen Dental all I knew was I had had tooth infected tooth and possibly more problems, because I had not been to dentist in 5 to 10 years and no insurance. So you can imagine I wasnt looking forward to going to the dentist. When I went into Aspen Dental everyone form the office staff to the dentist and dental assistants made me feel very relaxed and comfortable about the whole situation. When I went into the dentist office all the staff was warm and welcoming they made me feel very relaxed. If you’re someone like me that has super busy schedule they are very flexible with your appointments. I will say this it hasnt all been a bed of roses by any means but on the opposite side of that I do not think there is a single person In that office I wouldnt let work on my teeth. Both dentist and some of the office staff have probably saved me form making decisions would not be happy with in the long run. They explained all my options and kept me informed. They saved me form a making couple of mistakes that if they would not have taken the time and had not been honest and upfront about it, it would have cost me more cash in the long run. After my previous experiences at other dentist offices I know I wont be switching dentist offices again. All the staff including the dentists, dental assistants and front office personnel went out of their way to make sure I got the services I needed. They even called the lab and assisted in getting me a custom made bridge due to my special circumstances.If you have any questions about what options are available they will be more than happy to answer them. They do also have financing options available if you are worried about payment for services.

Dr. Clark and her staff were very professional and friendly for our visit. Everything was fully explained and we were seated at the appointed time. I would highly recommend Dr. Clark and her staff for your dental needs.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I like how they all are willing to answer questions and explain what is going on with my treatment. This was just my preliminary appointment to get things going after too long between dentist visits, so actual treatment hasn’t started yet. This place is a joke! Went in for my exam and that went ok. They told me I needed to get cleared from my doctor for my blood pressure which was high (because I’m sitting in a dentist chair!) So I made an appointment with my doctor and got cleared. Only for aspen to call me the morning of my appointment to tell me that my doctor did call to clear me. Now all of the sudden they need me to get a full physical????(the morning of)?????they couldn’t call before that to give me a heads up???? Very unprofessional! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

I am one of those people that avoided the dentist for many years because of bad experiences as a kid and anxiety as an adult. I finally forced myself to go after I couldnt handle some tooth pain. While I didnt get great news and have a few more appointments ahead of me to catch up on years of neglect the staff at Aspen Dental were amazing. They didnt once shame me for not seeing a dentist for so long and made me feel completely at ease the entire time. They care about my feelings and respect my level of comfort. While Im not excited about my appointments ahead I know I am in good hands and will be well taken care of. I cant recommend Aspen Dental enough.

Everyone at Aspen Dental is super nice and friendly. The wait time to be seen is minimal. Theyre always on time. So far Ive had an exam and a filling. It was my first filling ever so I was nervous but the doctor was nice and quick and it was as painless as can be. The only thing I wish they had was the Cavitron ProphyJet. I have some staining in a spot thats difficult to reach, and this device is the only thing that gets it clean.

Staff is great! Very nice and courteous. They are always able to accommodate my schedule. Every time I go in they are very thorough and always making sure Im comfortable! I would highly recommend anybody going here!!

Aspen Dental is Sioux City help my Dad get his smile back. He needed serious dental care and everyone at the office help him feel comfortable. Told my dad he had to have all his teeth pulled out. Then he got false teeth. That didnt fit!!! He went to another dentist and they told him there was nothing wrong with his bottom teeth. (That got pulled) And they had to make him new dentures. Do Not recommend this dentist office.

My experience at my appointment itself was fine. The staff is friendly and I wasnt waiting for very long.However, if you need to be referred to another dentist or an oral surgeon they do not tell you that they will not send any x-rays or other information directly to the person youve been referred to.You have to request that the information is sent to you by mail. I was not told this, and I have to wait to receive my x-rays in the mail before I can go back to the surgeon. Im already under a bit of time crunch and Im not happy with this delay.

Yesterdays visit was my second scheduled appointment at Aspen Dental--Sioux City, and again, I was not disappointed. The staff are pleasant, warm and welcoming and seem to go out of their way to ensure my questions are answered and that I am clear on the plan. At my first appointment last week for an exam, x-rays and a cleaning--I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful attention I was given as well.I was taken back by Jean who performed my x-ray series and explained the purpose of each new positioning of the dental plate. How Wonderful it is when a person so enjoys their job that you feel calm, safe and wiser being around them. She apologized for my discomfort--because the edges on those plates can be a little sharp and she kept me informed with the count-down of how many more X-rays I had to go, which was reassuring.Jean handed me over to Amanda who was at the door waiting for me when my x-rays were completed, and who escorted me to the next station/room where I had my teeth counted and graded by Angela as Amanda recorded the measurements. Dr. Merissa Mastrada, DDS was the Locum Tenens Dentist covering for Dr. Clark that day but you would never have known she was not on staff permanently in this office. She was delightful, gregarious, full of smiles and eager to answer my questions without even a hint of reproach, and was clearly quite knowledgeable about her craft.Yesterdays visit allowed me to finally meet Dr. Grace Clark who is the regular Dentist in the office and again, I was just elated to be in the office. She is a warm and bubbly, yet professional, down-to-earth woman, full of laughter and joy, extremely approachable, very knowledgeable and clearly skilled in her craft of dentistry.My filling placed was absolutely painless, after the tiniest needle was used to numb the area. For a while I began to wonder if the entire office was on Happy pills because, although my appointment yesterday was at 6:00-pm, yes--late in the evening, the entire staff was just as warm and welcoming, pleasant and helpful, and seeming genuinely happy to be in the service of their clients/patients as when I visited in the morning last week.It was very apparent that they all work wonderfully well as a team--dentists with hygienists and technicians, front desk personnel and administrative/office manager--as least this is the appearance from the outside looking in...as it should be.Then--I was presented with the bill--because I do not have dental insurance and there my second shock. The TV-Ads are true! Their prices were amazing with my insurance discount plan. I dont believe Ive ever been happier going to the dentist. Excellent Care and Service at tremendous saving to me for procedures that are a must if you wish to maintain healthy teeth! I will definitely be back--A+ rating from me.So thank you--Jean, Amanda, Angela, Yvette, Jenny, Dr. Mastrada and Dr. Clark (staff I directly interacted with) for facilitating my most amazing visit there, and for running your office with such excellence, that I actually am looking forward to my next visit...and counting the days! I had dentures made at Aspen dental in Sioux City IA and they are terrible. The fit is awful and the partial just falls out. I have worn dentures for over 25 years. These are so cheaply made I am appauled. I was fine with the kindness of the entire staff but apparently their confidence in their dental lab tech is unfounded.I called 4 dental offices and 2 labs in town and the compelling word used by all with regard to their dentures and partials is CHEAPLY MADE.I am on social security and paid a tremdous amount for these dentures. I am so disappointed and frustrated. What does a person like me do now?I certainly wish I had checked into them better before I bought!!

Went to Lilly and was told I need a ton of work. Went to Aspen for a 2nd opinion and found out I didnt need any of what Lilly recommended. What I really need will only cost a few hundred compared to the thousands of dollars Lilly tried to get from me. Theyre honest and do excellent work. The girls in the office are fantastic.

My appointment was for 11:30 The lady told me to be there early because I had some paper work to fill out. I arrived about 20 mins. early. Filled out paper work and waited to see the dentist. It was about 45 min later when I finally got in. I was just about ready to leave. While I was in the waiting room i never seen anyone leave at all. I did see the Dentist walking back and forth in the back several times like she was looking for something to do. Once I got in they seen the tooth that needed to come out. For some reason it would not get numb after 6 shots. So i finally stated that I am leaving and the dentist looked at me and she threw her hands up and said fine and walked out of the room. She did finally come back and say that i should be referred to the oral surgeon Thank God. Then they refer you to one that can see you for like 2 months. I was just the worst felling and treatment that I have ever got from a dentist. I will not take myself or family there ever again

I loved them. I thought the people were super friendly and nice. I felt they were very thorough. The thing that bothered me was they assumed I wasnt coming back . I truly was planning to until they started being cold to me. I was very discouraged.

I had not been to a dentist for many years. Ive had terrible experiences every single time I went to a dentist. I was absolutely terrified when I walked into Aspen, and I soon found I had no reason to feel that one. Not once was I made to feel like I was silly for being scared; everyone was sympathetic and encouraging, and I would definitely recommend them. Thank you!

I have both good things to say about my experience, and bad.First, and mainly, I dislike the railroading business model. I understand why they would choose to do it, but it makes me uncomfortable. I feel like Im getting a guilt trip. I must have heard Wow, you havent been here in a long time 10 times. And yes, it had been over a year, but theres a chiding aspect to it, a pressure, as if youve done something wrong. Also, the phone calls and emails are too much. Again, pressure. I understand why it works, but still, I dislike the high pressure sales feeling about it.However, everyone is incredibly nice and welcoming. The staff there has always been kind and helpful and make you feel as if they know, and care, about you. I havent had one bad experience with any interaction with them, great people.I have some complaints about the work that I had done, and how expensive it was, and how I sort of feel that now, with some perspective, that I might have done things a little differently. I wish someone had talked to me more about my options, about the whys, and included me a bit more in the decision process. I also think that there was some disconnect in treatment when another doctor took over my case. I feel some regret about the state of my mouth and how much money I have spent to get here, which makes me wonder if I did some of the right things.

Service started off well. Friendly & helpful at first, but once I got my permanent set I was ignored. My dentures are already breaking down & havent fit properly almost from the start.
