I called Mavis Tires & Brakes to schedule an oil change and was told I could come into the shop anytime. I was pleasantly surprised since it was a Sunday and most automotive services are not open on the weekends. Aside from my making sure my oil was fine, the receptionist informed me of other issues that I may need to check on to make sure my vehicle was in working order. I am very appreciative of how thorough the staff at this company is in making sure my vehicle is fine. I would not hesitate to come here again for me service needs.

Mavis Tire in Shelby, NC is an awesome shop! All the employees are helpful, and genuinely care about the work they do. As a female, I have felt respected and like a valued customer since day one! We had a crazy situation, in which someone slashed all four of our tires during the night at a hotel and Mavis tires & brakes was open on Sunday of all times, and they gave us a price that seriously no other place could even compare with. They owed us nothing, yet gave us everything!!! The work was done very quickly and very professionally, on top of complete customer service and satisfaction!!! Im not sure if Ill be in this area and need their services again, but if I do, then Mavis is definitely the place Im going!!!!! They just made me loyal for good!

Guys at Mavis have always been a great group to deal with. From 3 years ago when I lived in Shelby to today when I was visiting from Charlotte. Had a problem, called them, they worked me on, were very honest, minimal charge and on my way. Great doing business with them today as it was when I lived there. Thanks yall!!

I have taken both my husbands car and my own here and they always go above and beyond! They are always so respectful of my time as I usually take my car in on my lunch break and they even have taken me home and picked me up when I was getting some more time consuming work done on the cars! Two weeks ago I had a tire failure while visiting Myrtle Beach, SC. I went to one of the Mavis locations in the Myrtle Beach area. Turns out, my old tires were, just that, old (installed on a Ford PU truck I had bought two weeks earlier, good tread, but originally installed in 2008). I wound up getting new tires at the Mavis Tire at the beach. On the way home the next day, once I reached a highway that I could travel at 65+ MPH, the tires began to bounce. Two week later I discovered there was a Mavis store in Shelby, NC, not too far from my home in SC. Doc and the staff at the Shelby store took care of my problem, replacing two of the four original tires from the beach, balancing all four tires, and checked for any mechanical issues. They charged nothing for their service. Docs only concern was making me a satisfied Mavis customer, which he did quite successfully. I appreciate so much their service, courtesy, and positive attitude. I will definitely return to them for any future needs.

Prices are pretty good here. Not too expensive. You should definitely check them out!

No more shaking,,,new tires had a balance problem and they worked on them but eventually they just ended up replacing them with new ones again. Car rides nice a smooth now. The guys for the time you spent to correct the problem

Stopped in when car began hesitating, mechanic checked it immediately and found problem. They gave me the cost including labor before I left. I took a cab home, was only home 30 mins when they called and said my vehicle was ready. The charge was as they quoted, no added surprises. I would recommend this business.

I have been here multiple times and they always do a great job, my favorite thing about them is their honesty, twice now I have been told I didnt need something I thought I did, even after telling them I thought I would need it lol, most places would just say yeah we had to change that and actually not do it and pocket the extra money.
