I dont understand why NTB gets bad reviews. Mind you I take my Chrysler to the Dealer you want to see high prices go there. Anyway a couple years ago I got 4 Goodyear Eagles on it here. Havent had any issues and was out of their fast. Certainly faster than the dealership would be. I got an oil change their today and was out quickly to. They have always been nice to me.

I can see that they truly care about their customers. This is a clean store they could use another mechanic or to there if you know anybody told me to apply for a job because they could use the help. I recommend them I would say its probably a good idea to drop off the car not wait on it

Since you asked me. I have 3 vehicles that gets serviced at NTB. Been going here for years. BUT today I had an APPOINTMENT FOR 2:30 pm. I arrived at 2:15 . Was having tires balanced and rotated. Sat there till 3:48 my car still in parking lot. One mechanic came out and got in car beside mine that came in after me with no appointment and pull inside. I asked for my freaking keys and left. Will not go back,taking my money somewhere else. I was not going to give any stars for this review,but it wont let me post this without at least 1star.

Ive had good and bad experiences here. Most recent negative was that I found my lower control arm bolts to be loose after they did an alignment for me. Ruined the camber/caster kit and allowed the lower control to move freely in the frame. Think thats going to do it for me concerning this business. They will try to make things right but I prefer to have it done right the first time.

The customer service here is not pleasant. I had an appointment at 11am, showed up a little early and got checked in. I was told it would be about an hour and I would be ready to go. A man came in shortly after 11am and said he missed his appointment at 10am; the shop worked on his car before mine and he was gone long before my truck was pulled in the shop. Basically they wanted to put a customers experience who was late to their own appointment over a customer who was here early and still had to wait a VERY long time. I was just getting a tire rotation, oil change, and a patch on a leaky tire. After a long 3 hours I was finally able to leave. Lost most of my Saturday for a lack of customer service. Do not recommend coming here unless you want to sit around most of the day.

The customer service was great in the beginning. It was so, until an older white man returned from lunch and took over. He is not a friendly or courteous individual. I will drive the extra 22 miles to Gastonia to receive the service my money is worth.If the color of my skin affects the service I receive, I think I should take my money to a place where only one color matters, thats green. This is the 21st century. This type of behavior should stay at home, not in public service.To Gastonia it shall be ... Disappointed in Shelby, NC store! 😨😫

Have my front end lined up last week the steering wheel was about 1 inch off I came in there today about 6 and they jumped right on it took care of me super great bunch of guys that work there. I would like to thank Montana for his help super great guy took care of me.....

I made an appointment online for an oil change and was able to get a morning appointment for the next day. I was in and out in under an hour. The staff was nice and friendly. I will probably go back for my next oil change.

I brought my car to NTB in Shelby NC 5/27/2019 to get a new set of tires as I have at this location at least on 8 different occasions for various vehicles. I was called and told I needed new rear brake pads and a new battery which I declined to purchase. I just wanted tires. When I got home I noticed a spot underneath the passenger front tire area that is fresh oil. I called NTB to let them know something wasnt right and I was bringing my car back. I popped my hood before I left and found as the picture shows my oil cap was not on and was sitting on the firewall. I called NTB again to let them know what I found and the man I spoke to denied they did this. My oil had just been changed on 5/21/19 at the NTB location in Gastonia NC and I have driven the car multiple times daily since with nothing leaking on my carport or my car. I checked to make sure I had enough oil to take my car back to NTB put the cap back on the valve cover and then I went back to the Shelby location. When I got there I showed Paul the pictures and the oil all over my car. He adamantly denied that they did this and told me he would clean it up just to be nice. I told him repeatedly this was done here and today as no one else had been under my hood except them. I had him check my oil since I just had it changed with the synthetic oil last week. He claimed I had not lost any oil although the spot in my driveway and the oil all over my engine says I did. No more oil was added to my vehicle. I drove back to Shelby NTB to basically have degreaser sprayed on my car to get a small amount of the oil that was on it washed off and basically be treated like I was lying that they did this. I have been a loyal customer to this location for years and I have never had anything like this happen to me. I am very disappointed at how I was treated for what was I am sure a simple mistake by the employees of Shelby NTB

Worst place to ever get itres done or oil change .. liars and all about money.. they will rip you off at this store and tell you there not responsible for something they did and then charge you full price... I wouldnt have rated it one star even if it were possible to give it none thatd been it ... never been to such a place that customers werent right and not try to make anything right by there mistake ... do not go to!

Really quick service at an affordable rate. My tire came with a warranty and they mounted it in probably less than 20 minutes. The staff was friendly and helped load the tire. The tire was brand new.

Clyde was a life saver... after driving down the road for 1 hour after leaving jiffy lube my truck starting clicking and the oil pressure dropped. 5 minutes before NTB closed I called them and Clyde volunteered to stay late and help us. He showed us exactly what happened (leaking oil all over, completely drained oil) and took the time to write everything up for our records. God bless you! We would have been stranded otherwise. NTB now has my future business.

Over the top customer service...especially on a busy Sunday. Had a complete brake job front and back and oil change...these guys were helpful, knowledgeable, Kept me in the loop the entire duration of service and I could not ask for a more friendly staff. Im not from Shelby I was actually up here traveling so this made the whole experience even better knowing that I can trust these gas to make the necessary repairs to get me back on the road. I would highly recommend NTB in Shelby NC to anyone that needs service work to their vehicle. Great experience all the way around!

Went to get air put in my tires. The woman acted as if she put air in my tires as if I’m stupid. My Jeep will let me know if it needs air as with all modern cars these days. I went to the gas station.. god forbid someone who don’t know any better has a low air pressure.. very selfish and ignorant people work here.

NTB fixed my tire. I had a nail in tire and it was going down . They were very nice. Glad they got to it quickly or it would have been flat soon.

Most places let you bring your own oil you buy and just charge you for the labor not them. They want you to buy there full synthetic for 90 bucks when its cheaper to buy your own and go have it changed somewhere for 10 bucks. All they are is money hungry

So much for saving time by paying someone else to do it. Over an hour for a simple oil change. I could have done it 4 times in that amount of time and I dont have any fancy lifts. Also if you have an oil change on the price list at 1 price but charge extra if a car uses 6 quarts as apposed to 5 quarts you might want to put that on the price list.Example..Oil change....... 19.996 quart oil change....... more than 19.99

They over charged my 17 year old daughter just because she didnt know any better. Bill was over 400.00 when all she needed was new spark plugs. Do no go there uninformed because they will take advantage of you.

Love this place

Just the best place to go to for any type of repairs or maintenance. I feel like the staff always has my safety in mind and never tries to sell me on things I dont need. They also do a great job of explaining what is wrong and why I need a certain repair because I know nothing about cars.

They tried to get as much money out of me as possible. Tried to get me to buy 2 new front tires when I know in fact that I just got them a few months ago, tried to get me to replace a 6 month old battery because it was apparently so bad that my car shouldn’t have been cranking. Took my car to oriellys to have it checked and everything was perfectly fine. Being a single mom with 2 kids and one on the way (had them with me) he sure was not helpful at all, but wanted to get as much money out of me as he could.

Took a 2005 Caravan to have it looked at because it had been running extremely rough and skipping. I dropped the van off and they said they would call when it was ready. When I arrived to pick the van up my bill was right at $1,400. Guess what, the van was running worse than before. I went back up to NTB and informed them that the van was not fixed and in fact was running worse than when I dropped it off. They informed me that I would have to $80 to have a diagnostic performed. These guys are way out of their mind. I am so furious as to be ripped off like I was. I called corporate and they said that there was nothing they could to rectify the situation and that the store has the final say so. What a joke this place is. The store told corporate that I asked for them to replace all injectors and the ignition coil and that is not what I told them. When I dropped the van off I stated to them my van was running extremely bad and I needed it fixed. This is the kind of stuff that makes one’s blood boil.

Rude customer service (I talked to a man named Paul) couldn’t even ask him if my coupon would work on the phone he just kept saying okay okay rushing me off the phone, plus another customer came in asking if they didn’t inspections but he said they don’t but have a inspections sticker on the window

Had something stuck on the side of my tire. Unfortunately it was not patchable, so they replaced it very quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this business!

I had a terrible experience at another local tire store, so I left there and drove straight over to NTB. They not only had the tires I needed in stock, but they IMMEDIATELY pulled my truck in and got to work on it. Clyde was extremely professional and personable as well.I have definitely found the go-to place in Shelby for repairs and tires!

This location is clueless. Will sneak charges in on you. Check your receipt. Also did not know how to put in a simple fuse for cigarette lighter. My first and last time here.

I have tried SEVERAL different NTB locations (Gastonia, Charlotte) and Shelby is by FAR the best. Wallace (Service Manager) is an excellent, no-nonsense guy who strives for excellence, fairness, and honesty. He will get it done RIGHT at the lowest price possible. Many a happy experience here (as happy as a car repair can be, that is).

I went there looking for a tire and they did not have one for my car

One of the few tire places open after 5 on a weekday. Dont take a mower tire there though, even if 4 or 5 of them are sitting around with nothing to do, they aint gonna help you cause their corporate policy is.... havent been back since

Was passing through town and got a flat. They fit me in right away and took good care of me. Manager is awesome, he needs a raise. Highly recommend.

I was on my way out of town and my car began to overheat. Had it towed here. Jason Mattheau Manis was awesome. I called and advised him it was being towed in. He called early the next morning and advised of the finding. It was so nice to deal with a honest and professional gentleman. NTB should be proud to have this excellent employee treating the customer right.

I sent my daughter to get a tire looked at at the TIRE KINGDOM in Shelby NC. We new it was leaking air. A slow leak . I told her it just probably needed a plug. She took the car there and after waiting a while they told her that she had a BIG hole in her tire and she would need a new one. I told her to leave and I would take care of it. I took the car to another place and it took them a little bit to even find the hole.The hole that they found was tiny. It was a very small leak.The piece of metal was this long ------------ and about the thickness of a .05 pencil lead and it was on the tread of the tire. How on earth do these guys lie so easily?? She was no where near having to get a new tire. No big hole either. Needless to say I will never never go here again!!!!! Ladies watch out they will try there best to take advantage of you!!!

Have nothing to complain about. Watched tv, drank their coffee. Excellant service, answered all my questions. It was all good.

Worst experience ever!!!!!!!Checked oil level when I got home and found it to be way over full. Drained about one quart and it was BLACK. They didnt even change the oil, they just added a quart. I took the car back with the quart of dirty oil and they insisted they changed the oil and filter, that with the quart of dirty oil right in front of him. At my insistence they agreed to change oil and filter while I watched. Naturally the oil came out black and they still insisted they changed the oil and filter.My advice is to stay away from NTB Shelby and go to an honest service center.

Friendly and considerate understanding that you dont have all day. They get you in, and get you out. They dont try to up-sale you in any way, they only do what you asked for and or make you and your car safe on the road.

I had an alignment on my truck done here back in November and was told they could not get the camber fully in alignment because I had no adjustment left. Well, today Ihad to spend $1,400 dollars to replace my tires and get the alignment corrected where these yahoos screwed it up. I reviewed the alignment sheet after it was done todau and could not believe how screwed up the alignment had been done by these guys. Do not take your vehicle here for any work as they clearly do not know what they are doing. If I could post negative stars I would do so.

Bought 4 90000 mile tires and a alignment at somewhere around 10000 bolts and nuts loosen up enough to change alignment affecting the toe destroyed my front tires but this isnt thier fault I must have hit a pothole.oh were sorry we can discount you 2 tires but its the same price as the others save your money run from this place maybe you can buy a tire there but get your alignment from a well known place that dont have kids working there with no experience hope this helps

Service was decent but keep in mind they will charge you around 30 bucks for a TPMS rebuild... This isnt even possible on most Ford vehicles as there is no o-ring associated with it and no replaceable batteries. This is a total scam and a charge for doing absolutely nothing.Unless tires are on a great sale stay far away from NTB.

No one spoke to me and I was there for 10 minutes standing at the desk. A man was on the computer so I figured he was busy so I waited and he walked by me and got something to drink and still said nothing to me.

Very Frustrated!!! My last two visits for oil change I asked for air conditioning check. Oil Change Complete, Tires Purchased and Critical Problems Addressed. But NO AIR CONDITIONING Check. Why??? They cant locate the port. 10 minutes after leaving today I pull into an Auto Parts Store and within 5 minutes they have located the port. I am learning quickly There is a diffrence in a Mechanic and a Parts Changer.

My girlfriend has been in there on several occasions, and they have treated her GREAT!!!I would tell anyone needing tires or any other service they provide to go to Tire Kingdom!!Thanks guys.

This location has lost two locking lug nuts and didnt bother to inform me either time. They replaced the set after i called them on it, but did nothing the 2nd incident. Also have taken my truck to get the tires balanced and had to take it to GM to get it done right. Wasted $70.

These guys always give me good service, and seem to try to go above and beyond whenever they can.

Ive been twice and n hated it both times. The first time, the didnt have my oil filter in stock (on a newer Honda). They said it would be an hour. After an hour, the still didnt have it so I left. The second time, my brakes were scrubbing and they said they couldnt find anything wrong. I took it to someone else and one of the pads was worn completely off. Never, ever again.

I had 4 tires installed at this location today. By the time I drove home at least 2 of them are leaking air. I looked around and noticed the new valve stems they installed were damaged and installed wrong. I called they said bring it back in. It would be a 3 hour trip of just driving to do that, so I asked if I can go to another location. Im now sitting in the 74 Matthews location. I was asked to drop it off, I told them I need it to work. So now Im sitting here for an hour waiting to see how many more hours I have to wait until they even look at it. As I see new customers coming in and getting quotes I understand at NTB once you pay your the least important person in the building. That customer service is something that they dont train their employees in or give them the time and resources to do. Edit i have waited 2 hours, and told it will be more. To fix valve stems....The workers in this store are doing the best they can, but it looks like there is only three and a long line of customers.. Its now the next day, 20 hours after I walked in for tires, Im waiting for damaged tire pressure monitor and valve stems to be replaced. 21 hours into my NTB new tire experience now my stomach is upset, and theres no toilet paper in the mens room..... I thought this experience couldnt get worse.....In response to the owner asking me to do the contact us on the ntb website. I already did this during all the hours while I was there sitting and waiting. Havent got a email back.

They did wheel alignment on my Tacoma and its still out of line, Im taking it back today. We will see what happens
