I have had this service for 4 weeks. They picked up our trash the first week, missed the second I called every day the third week to insure pick up and now they missed the fourth. Very dissatisfied with them.
Worse experience with this company, pricing always changes like the stock market only problem it never goes down, you call your account manager and they are useless. After fifteen year I had this dumpster, this new company forced me to cancel my contract at a hefty, hefty price. They also have auto renewal contracts that expire every five years, wow it feel like your dealing with a loan shark. I am disgusted at these people hope they enjoy the last of my money they took from me.

Paid for three months of service on 7/12. Trash can was finally delivered on 7/28 with service scheduled for 7/29. No service received until 8/2. Service was due again on 8/5. No service received. Despite countless calls, several emails, etc. This company has done nothing on time and only seems to come out when I call and complain several times. Wont connect me to a manager, wont call me back when they say they will, wont call me back when I leave voice-mail messages, wont reply to my emails. Absolutely terrible.
Customer service is the worst here in seguin. Really considering switch trash company. The reason I rated it a solid 1 star was due to the fact I was on hold for 15mins or more then I become caller number 1 and they answer and send me straight to a automated machine to leave my number and address, if they will not do their job hire someone who is willing to appreciate their position at this company and make it great!. I have had this service for over a year and havent had any problems with them until now. I was unaware that my prices would go up at all, it went from $67 to over a $100 and when I called and asked about it, the associate I spoke to acted like she didnt care at all. She was cut me off twice and the second I said anything about it, she put my on hold in the middle of talking and when we were done, she said have a good day and cut the line quick. Needless to say, Im going to be looking into other places that hopefully service my area.
Darla’s help in getting my family started on what size we need was great. We needed someone who was experienced and she was. She’s been a world of information for us.

Terrible service. Paid a year in advance. The only way I could get my trash picked up was to call and complain. That finally did no good. Wish i could give them a negative star, but 1 is the lowest that i could go.

Overall the pickup service was good. However the office/clerical/administrative part is dismal. The people in charge of decisions hide behind those who answer the phone. They are not very honest. They have lied continuously regarding picking up our dumpster because we have cancelled our service. Their customer service is a huge joke laughed about industry wide.
We have been customers for years. Our normal Tuesday pickups vary from early Tuesday to very late Wednesday’s. For the past couple months, they occasionally completely miss us. They totally missed us completely the week before the freeze. The week after the freeze, we called 5 times; the day before pickup, and then each day they missed us afterwards. On Thursday, the office told us they would have to submit a work order to pick up our trash. It is Saturday, and it is still not picked up. Service is shabby, and management is totally ineffective.
Darla helped our store by providing us with a dumpster as the previous company did not renewed their lease and left us with no dumpster..Darla was a life saver and provided us with a dumpster within days..great doing business with Darla...kudos to her...

These guys show up about 70% of the time. They have terrible customer service and are a total rip off. Fiance called to complain and they threw the contract in her face. Well the contract includes them picking up the trash! No wonder most of our neighborhood does not use them. Dont make our mistake.

Have had problems from the beginning since I’ve came to my property. By far the worst service! Will not pick up if there are mattresses, large furniture, or any metal. Even if you break it up as small as possible. They will not get out of their truck to move items blocking their way to pick up the dumpster. They make more of a mess then they do cleaning it. If you’re not the main person on account don’t even bother calling they are no help and could careless about anything. I might as well just let my residents throw their trash all over the place. Ive been a customer of Waste Connections for almost a year. They have always been helpful and we have worked out any potential problems that may have arisen. My account manager Darla is awesome. She is always a phone call or email away from answering any of my questions. She is spot on helpful and treats me as family instead of customer. The driver whom I havent met goes out of his way to pick up our dumpster, the dumpster isnt placed in the easiest of locations. This type of personable service is rare nowadays. You dont really want to think of your trash service. Im a property manager here in San Antonio and dont want to call out for a bunch of quotes. I know I can go to Jerrod and tell him what I need and not have to worry if my price is the lowest. Its competitive and I know I dont have to worry about my quality of service. Its always good! I have been a customer for the last few months. I have had no issues with my service. Darla Brown is my customer service rep and she is great. Darla has always been able to answer questions that I had and resolved any issues quickly. I have had no problems getting in contact with her and if I leave a message I get a fast response. My driver has always been on time and dosnt leave a mess like my last service. I am very happy and would highly recommend this company.
Absolutely hands down the worst service I’ve ever received. Two weeks ago an employee of the company came to my house and took both of my containers. I called to find out why and was told it was a mistake. I was told they would be returned the next day. Here I am 2 weeks later and still don’t have my containers back. I’ve called everyday and they always say they’ll call me back. Never once have they called me back. Horrible service!!!
Only had them a month and they’ve already missed trash pick up twice. They only come once a week so if they don’t show up the response is to just wait till the next week and hope they come.

Unfortunately, I have to give one star to review. So many calls from them delaying our service. Missed completely too many times. Price increases every quarter.Called on July 5 to cancel and was told theres a $25 fee to pick up the trash can. What? When I asked how a customer would know about that fee, I was told that customers are informed when they cancel service. Thats pretty slimy. The lady scheduled pick up the container for July 16. Our new disposal company was nice enough to empty it for them. Its still here. Apparently they are trying to penalize folks for choosing to do business with a different company. Now they owe me $25 for storage of their container. Next stop, Better Business Bureau. And prepare to keep a $25 bogus fee off our credit report. Waste Connections is a waste.
Easily one of the worst customer service experiences. Trash is simple, pick it up when you say you will. In 12 weeks our trash was collected TWICE. Multiple calls to the rude customer service team, giving countless reasons it was our fault. Finally promised to come get the garbage on a special pick up by the end of the day, never showed. We finally were able to speak with a local manager who offered a three week credit. I cancelled the service and took the credit, they pick up their can the next day. Never got the credit, and just got a bill for the next quarter. What an embarrassment it must be to have to represent this company.

I have been doing business with Republic for 7 years. I just found out the have been bilking me out of money for years. I am changing service to Waste Connections. They are worlds cheaper than what Republic has been charging me. And what a breathe of fresh air Darla Brown( my rep) has been. In a world where most customer service reps not only don’t care but are often rude, she is just the opposite of that. Thank you, this is rare.

They removed our dumpster at one of our rentals without any notice at all, we have renters their and they informed us the dumpster is gone I called Waste Connection and they said they called and sent a letter and we never got either.
Jerrod helped us out when we werent satisfied with our current hauler. We are definitely happy now and not only did he resolve our problem but he was extremely professional about it! I wish I could give TEN stars!

When we first became customers under Progressive Trash in 2016, it was like a well-oiled machine. Every week, same time, without fail.Then Waste Connections took over. And they are more than happy to take your money but absolutely will not do their job. (Oh, but don’t worry. They’ve already marked in their system that they DID pick up your trash!)Three weeks in a row, they’ve missed us.If you really like spending your money on services you don’t receive, then this is definitely the company for you.If you would actually like to get what you pay for, I suggest literally anyone else.

We have dealt with several dumpster companies. The biggest one in town was actually gangster like with our account. Every time we questioned something they raised the price by 25% even though we had a written contract that wasfor far less than the current monthly charge! Darla Brown and Waste Connections have been very honest with us. They are up front on the pricing and do exactly what they say. All of these companies charge extra fees (fuel adjustment, environmental, etc.) that are of very questionable legality but Darla explains them and apologizes for them.
We had a big job 10 years ago with trash removal and they did a fantastic job! We recently had a smaller job and they were still amazing. Jerry Outterson never lets us down. Hes always very professional and very helpful with everything we need. Holiday Inn Express in Seguin will always use this company for any of our trash needs. Thank you again Jerry!!

After 15 years of service waste management got a new driver and he didn’t want to pick up where pick up had been for 15 years. No one with the company conveyed this to me and we went a month without service. All the while the driver drove past my trash to pick up the neighbors. When I called to get this fixed we were first told it would be and it wasn’t. The next week we were told we had been doing trash wrong for 15 years and nothing would be done to correct it. Called a third time being told they would go out of their way to fix this and yet the driver picked up the neighbors and let me yet again.We have a new company now and saving 40 a month for the same service.

I currently have Waste Connections for garbage service but they have failed to pick up my trash for 3 weeks. No matter how many times I call I am either told the service is on it’s way or that I probably did not place my bin out in time. I place my bin out the night before and leave it out for almost 24 hours so this simply is not the case. I obviously do not recommend Waste Connections to anyone and need another service for my home. After three weeks without garbage collection I am up to my ears in trash!Recommendations to save me from Waste Connections and their poor customer service?

For about a year I didnt have a representative at Waste Connections, so each time I had a problem or issue, I had to call the 1-800 number and go through that every time, which caused a lot of wasted time on both parties due to miscommunication or misunderstanding. Once Robin Barton became my point of contact, my job (with regards to my dumpsters) became a whole lot easier !!!! She is wicked easy to work with, always answers my calls / texts (even on the weekends !), and she lives close to my shopping center so she routinely makes drive bys to check on the dumpsters. I dont think there are many other reps (in any business) that would go out of their way for that kind of customer service. Thats hard to find !The last 2 weeks Ive been quarantined and I let Robin know Id be out of the office. She took it upon herself to check on my dumpster cans while I was out to ensure everything ran smoothly while I was out. I truly appreciate that.I spent 22 years in the U.S. Navy, so I really appreciate good customer service. I also value integrity . I know if I ask Robin to take care of something for me, I DO NOT have to go back and double check to make sure it was done, I know she took care of it. If only all of my vendors were like that, my job would run a whole lot smoother.Robin is a top notch person, she will excel in any endeavor she attempts. Pricing is always wrong. Contract prices are set, but then the contract says they can change the price. When they invoice you, printed under the total it says: Your next invoice may reflect an increase in price in accordance with the terms and conditions of your service agreement. = How Sad Is This?
Our trash service has absolutely tanked since these guys took over for Vaquero. It’s gotten to the point where we can’t rely on service one week to the next. Missed service days. Late service runs. Failure to pick up recyclables, such as neatly stacked cardboard placed next to the recycle can. Last week, Waste Connections sent our neighborhood a letter explaining that trash and recycling service would no longer be provided on Mondays. Instead, recycling would be picked up, effective immediately, on Mondays, and trash on Wednesdays. It’s Tuesday evening, and our recycle can is still sitting at the curb...untouched. Not holding my breath that trash service will be provided tomorrow. Ridiculous. I suspect our neighborhood will be voting to change service providers soon.

This company is the WORST trash pickup you could ever use. Customer service is horrible. For years and years they have come up to the house and picked up . Then they just stop coming. When called, the rep said I was not paying for door to door pickup. Well I have been for all these years because they have been coming and they are expensive. So no notification or anything. So when I asked how much more for the service Ive been getting all these years, Im told well they dont have door to door. What planet is this rep from? Terrible company. will definitely change.
Cancelled my service over 3 weeks ago because the service is horrible and unreliable AND overpriced. Went with another local company that is MUCH cheaper and absolutely wonderful. Waste Connections dumpster is still sitting in my yard because they keep “rescheduling” the pick up date. If I could give negative stars I would give -5 stars. I’ve been lied to since they bought out my previous trash service. Ready to start charging them storage fees!! Or I’m going to drag it out to the highway!!! Ugh! So frustrated!
Waste Connections is always very professional. Darla set us up a business account and we are so thankful for her. We got quotes from a few other places and Waste Connections was cheaper, and more professional. I am very happy with the service we have received.

3 stars because I really cant complain about the pick ups of trash. Every week Waste Connections made it to my residence for trash pick up. Sometimes it was a day or 2 after the scheduled time, most of the time it was exact timing for pick ups. 3 stars due to pricing and the fact that you guys will not pick up your old can. I have called 3 times to schedule the pick up of the trash can and 3 times Ive been stood up. I guess its my can now.. If you want it back, you owe storage fees now. Every month that you leave it at my residence...$200 added to the fee. This is my policy for my property.Your monthly pricing is horrible and is the main reason why I stopped doing business with you. I found a local trash collector that is a fraction of your monthly cost.
Dont waste your time with these people! They could care less about your concerns. I canceled my overpriced service and gave them every opportunity to retain my business and they didnt want it. Been waiting a month for them to pickup their trash can and they send me a bill for 25.00 to pick it up. Still sitting in my front yard. Customer service ignores everything you say. I guess Ill have to bill them for storage of their trash can for a month. AG of Texas should look into this companies business practacies.

We cancelled our service at the end of December (due to poor service, multiple missed pick ups and overall bad communication) and they were supposed to pick up our bins January 4th. That day came and went and I called mid-week the following week. After waiting 45 minutes on hold I finally got a representative only to be told they would have to call me back after they got a new pick up date from dispatch. Never received a call back. I then called again this past Monday - 30 minute hold time to get representative and got the same response that they would have to call me back with a new pick up date. I shared that I never received a call back the first time and that after two weeks, I need to get the pins off the street due to my HOA before I get fined. I asked for a direct line to call and get an actual person without having to wait on hold but she could not give me one. Guess what, never received a call back AND my bins are still here. I never leave these reviews, but this service is horrible for what you pay for and the customer service is just as bad with no follow through.
Waste connection is the best waste company weve had so far! Brian has always been on time and consistent with us. He goes that one extra mile that always leaves us w a smile of satisfaction! I am the office manager for a custom home company called Evolutionary Homes based in/around the San Antonio and Boerne area. We have been using Waste Connections for job site services since the conception of the company. Jerry has also been managing our account since the beginning and we couldnt be happier. I had Waste Connections in Woodcreek and they were great, picked up every week, recycling every other week. However, once I moved 5 miles away into Wimberley, despite weekly assurances that they were coming for trash pick up, they have not. It has now been over 4 weeks since I requested service at my new house.I ended up loading my garbage can into my own truck and driving it into the city recycling and paying to empty my can!This last week, when I called to complain, they assured me they spoke with dispatch and it would be picked up. In fairness, they did credit me 3 weeks for failure to pick up.But, lo and behold, when I got home yesterday, still NO TRASH pickup!!!!!!!!Its gotten almost comical how badly this has been handled/not handled.
I have been with Waste Connections and its predecessors for 25 years. It used to be a very good and reliable trash collection company, but now its service is like the contents of the trash container. It is garbage and stinks. Waste Connections missed my Friday trash pickup twice in April, and despite assurances from two separate customer service agents that the trash would be picked up by Wednesday, my trash was not picked up until the following Friday on the first occurance. We will see how long it takes them to pick up my trash that was missed just this past Friday. It is no wonder they are losing customers to Best and Tiger Trash services, and they are about ready to lose another customer
We have been using Waste Connections with our new medical building, and the service we have received has been outstanding. Waste connections has been very responsive to our needs and goes out of their way to ensure we are being properly cared for. I would highly recommend them for all waste needs.

They did not pick up my trash for a month. I have spent nearly 5 hours total on hold waiting to speak with someone there. Twice I was promised it would be picked up “tomorrow” and it didn’t happen. The lady verified my account is paid through the end of this month, and I have seen the truck drive past my house with the trash can sitting at the end of the driveway...didn’t stop and pick it up. When I called after the 3rd week they offered to credit my account for ONE week...and promised next day pick up, which did not happen. Today when I called I was #19 in line. I waited on hold for 1 hour, 1 minute and was finally caller #1 and a recording came on asking me to leave a message. I told them in the message to come get their can off my property today, they are fired. Ridiculously terrible service. Customer beware. Do not pay this company a penny, if you do it will be a penny wasted. Find another service.
For years weve always had issues with other waste companies being responsive to requests as well as billing issues. We opted to go with Waste Connections a few months ago and I honestly could not be happier. It is truly a pleasure to work with Jerrod and the Waste Connections Team.
We have other dumpster services and horrible service. WC has been awesome. Since Darla has been hired in the Seguin office, which is the office I deal with it had been 110 percent!!
This company offers below acceptable service. Over priced by a 1/3rd of what other companies are capable of delivering. Pick up service is questionable at best. There are no phone calls for non-pick up. Customer service is near impossible to reach. Hold times are extreme, averaging an hour with multiple transfers and even longer wait times. Anti trust laws need to be enforced for companies such as these, when such companies become too big to handle their acquisitions. We need competition to keep businesses honest.

This is by far the poorest waste company we have ever had. It’s become so unreliable that we only get our trash picked up once every two weeks. They don’t offer to reimburse you. No apology only excuses. You pay for what you get, even when it comes to trash.

If I could take away the one star I would...I started having problems with this company not picking up my trash about 6 months ago. I called and spoke with the manager MIKE FLORES (who does not return phone calls). I do not understand how this company got so big with such bad service. No one in the company will take responsibility for the issues. I asked to speak with the regional director his name is CHRIS who is in the AUSTIN office and they said he does not talk with customers but he would email me. That was last Thursday 2/21/19 as of 2/26/19 no email from Chris. I pay in full every month but they do not pick up trash so I wonder if I can get a partial credit back for the week they did not pick up trash.
Worst service! They haven’t picked up my trash in three weeks!!! I have to call them in order to pick it up!!! This time around I was the only one in my street that didn’t have theirs picked up. Horrible company. Will be changing ASAP.Not sure why they made changes, but clearly someone doesn’t know how to manage properly. I detest this service.
Horribly run company. Called to request dumpster service. Took my information, and was told the operations manager would review it. Never heard back. Called a month later, and requested follow up, and was told we were too far outside their service area, but I know of dumpsters in the area holding their logo, 360 degrees around me. They don;t want to offer residential service because they can charge commercial more for the same service. Bottom line.They came in, bought everybody local out, and then stopped serving the area. Im now making it my goal to get the local municipalities to drop their contracts with Waste Connections

The worst company Ive ever had never picked up my trash after the New year told me I was lying and it wasnt out there kept telling me for 3 days after I called in and they kept telling me they pick up my trash and never have did. I dont know what to do. What I want to do is take my trash to there office and drop it off I am so upset. Just the worst. I dont even want to give them one 🌟. I want my money back and my trash gone . So unhappy. Still no trash pick up I just cant believe this company. Once again on the hold with them to ask why they never picked up my trash. They have told me over and over we will make sure it gets picked up .its Ben over two weeks and once again they drove right by and did not take my trash.
