ZERO stars... tried to take advantage of a stranded woman with 2 kids. Wanted $268 for a new battery, then went down to $238... all while the AAA cost for AAA members is $169.99, the same with all AAA contractors... and the battery that was bad was under a 5 year warranty from the dealer. They gave her a jump and we drove the car to the dealer to get a new replacement battery for free including install... tried calling the three times, but their phone # is out of service... Hmmmm... needless to say, I filed a comaint against them with AAA.

I used to work there drivers are great and on time owners are always willing to help drivers anyway possible great place to work

I have had the unfortunate business of being towed a number of times in the last few months. Dunivins has been the best service that I have recieved. Francisco C arrived earlier than expected and was very kind in all our interactions. Though being towed is rarely a good time, it was a pleasant experience. Thank you for your help. :)

Matt showed up for a scheduled tow from San Juan to Lake Forest and was very professional. Helped handle the paperwork and made the process very manageable.

Triple A, said they would pick my son up driving my car knowing he was not the member. Dunivans got there and refused the job. When I complained to Dunivans they said they had no record of the job.

Dunivins towing in San Juan Capistrano was absolutely terrible. I notified AAA what kind of car I had and this was the company they sent. After an hour he arrived and came out of his car and told me my small van was too tall to go on his flat bed. He told me there was a 12 limit on height on the freeway and his bed was 5 tall ( no way it was 5 tall ). I replied my van is under 7 tall so there should be no problem. He then replied back to me saying my antenna makes my van too tall. I again replied that I can take it off right now no problem. Then he just kept telling me its not possible and I need to call AAA back. After Dunivins takes off I had to wait another 2.5 hours for another tow truck when it was 95 degrees and my car wouldnt start. True garbage company with terrible employees.

I requested a battery replacement through AAA and Dunivins is the company that took the call. I was promptly contacted by the driver, Mahdi, who let me know hed be at my location in 10 minutes. Talk about on the ball! Mahdi wore a mask and gloves and maintained social distancing, and was an absolute pleasure to chat with while he replaced my battery. He completed the work quickly and efficiently and let me know that I could contact him again if I had any problems. Great guy and great service!

OWNER IS INDEPENDENT RECOVERY AND THEIR PRACTICES ARE THE WORST TOW YARD I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! THEY DONT EVEN LISTEN TO THE POLICE ABOUT WHAT THEY CAN AND CANT CHARGE! DO NOT GO HERE AS THEY ROLD ME THEY ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS ANYWAY

Kia performed my AAA service call and was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had with a technician. He tested my battery, replaced it and made sure I was satisfied with everything. Excellent job!!

Supposed to replace battery with warranty according to there test battery is fine even though I just left Allen cadillac dealer with a print out that said battery is Dead!! & the battery NOT starting the tech from dunavins says hes got another call & he left!!!Real helpful!! So after waiting for 3hrs I have to get it towed through 3A once again to dealer for same issue in 3 days due to Dunivins miserable service....

My car broke down and this company went above and beyond making sure my car got home safely and quickly!

The ETA was approximately 1 hour from the time I called AAA. The Dunivin’s Diver showed up a lot earlier so I only had to wait 20 minutes. The Driver was polite, professional, efficient and extremely quick (just like he said). The ride in the truck was comfortable and air conditioned and about 10 bucks cheaper than an Uber.

Wonderful service. Our service person was knowledgeable and very helpful. My daughter’s car battery died for the second time in less than a week and he spent enough time checking everything out and discovered that the battery we were using for her car was too small. After jumping our car and leaving to another call, our car died again and we were stranded in an empty parking lot and by now it was 11 pm. He instructed us to drive home in my car and leave my daughters car there and later returned to tow her car to our mechanic. This kept us safe and saved us wait time and I really appreciate this kind of service. He went the extra mile, literally!!!Thank you Dunivins towing!!! You’ve saved us a number of other times through the years 💝

Shame on them. I dont know how anyone affiliated with this underbelly of automotive services can sleep at night. The slight exception would be the captain of this sinking ship of ethics, a gentleman i presume to be the owner. This individual was slightly less vicious when giving me all the bad news and newly presented requirements now demanded for the release of a vehicle that cost less than the purchase price only 5 days prior.A pox upon your family sir. My car was towed to their yard and I had to drive down from Oxnard which is in Ventura County 2+ hour drive on a rainy Sunday right before Christmas. I called their office and spoke with Erin and informed her that I was on my way but based on the traffic and weather conditions I wasn’t gonna make it before 6pm. I asked her if she would be able to wait for me to get there and she with no hesitation she said she’d wait until about 630. She could of easily told me no they close at 6pm and to wait until the next day to retrieve my vehicle, but out of the kindness of her heart she stayed just for me. I arrived around 610 and Erin was waiting as promised. Thank you again Erin at Dunivan’s Tow Truck Towing Service for going above and beyond and providing top notch customer service!

Wow! The tow driver accidentally damaged my hood prop. The owner quickly resolved it and immediately reimbursed me for the damages. Truly a painless experience! These guys are top notch.

I’ve had a few experiences with this towing service through my AAA membership, and about 75% of the time they’re not really helpful. They try to do the job as quickly as they can, while offering a quick fix but not an actual solution. Today was different.I was assisted by a technician named Noel, an incredibly friendly and super accommodating man who enabled me to feel like I was actually 100% confident in what was going on and what was wrong with my car and its battery.He assisted me with the core problem, resolved it, then continued to offer advice and insight on how to fix or maintain other little mishaps with my on-its-last-leg Honda Civic lol.Definitely the sweetest, nicest, most professional employee I’ve ever encountered through this company.Noel is fantastic! Please recognize how much of a great worker he is! Completely went above and beyond any expectations. Thank you, Noel!

Called via AAA. Saeed (sp?) was prompt and friendly, clean and helpful. Did a great job checking not only my battery but also alternator, no attitude about not being prepared to replace right then, just great experience all around.

This is the 2nd time I had Dunivins come out through Triple AAA. Unfortunately I have had bad luck with flat tires this year, their service tech Matt was awesome. He came out on Thanksgiving and changed my tire in a downpour. He had a great attitude and he is the same guy that came out a couple months ago to help me out. Matt has excellent customer skills and I really appreciated him coming out on a holiday and was there in 20 minutes to help out.

This company takes advantage of disabled people I will never use or recommend this fake business! There drivers will test your battery and tell you it’s bad when my battery was dead from my lights being left on not a bad cell like they said. They put a new battery in and it wasn’t till night that I noticed my lights were on and that’s why it died. They should not be diagnosing electrical problems there not qualified.

Only thing they done is lie to you and make you pay more parking fee

You guys are garbage. This is the second time you failed to provide adequate service. I needed your service back in October and it took over 6 hours for your tow to arrive. The excuse was a dispatch error that noone delegated between shifts. This time around i have waited nearly 2 hours, again dispatch error. I called AAA to report, in their records it showed a status, arrived, unable to locate so they closed it, this is UNACCEPTABLE, if you are unable to locate the client in need, why would you not call them? Isnt that why you take our contact information down in the first place? If i could give you 0 stars, I would. If you have AAA and they say Dunivins is your tow provider, REQUEST for a different company.

I had called for a tow from this place on a Sunday morning for a car that I had just bought the day prior. I was taling it to an auto mechanic in San Juan Capistano. The tow driver (53, black hair, caucasian, tattoo on the back of his neck) told me that the auto shop wasnt trustworthy, that they would steal from vehicle given how rare and valuable it is. I foolishly listened and that same tow truck driver had my vehicle towed so that he could acquire it. He attempted to take the car I had just bought. If you want more details I will gladly share but the driver attempted to get the vehicle o had just bought which in the end didnt work out but to my knowledge he is still employed there at this same repossession cente . Do yourself a favor when transporting your vehicle and go with any other company.

AAA called them to replace my battery, they said the arrived but never showed. Had to call them and they said they didnt have my battery and supposedly were on line with AAA to let them know but didnt. Dont use them they suck.

Rude receptionist, I could feel the attitude through the the phone. Professionalism did not exist. Id choose another towing company rather than deal with the attitude. On top of that she said the wait was 3-4 hours right off the bat without even checking. Save your money and your time and look elsewhere for towing.

Had my battery replaced through AAA and the new guy reversed the jump cables and destroyed my car. Going on week 3 of my car being in the shop as a result of these goof balls and they didnt even authorize my repair order. Not cool.

I called to get a copy of an invoice and they wanted to charge me $45.00!! Seriously $45.00 for a piece of paper. Seems a bit much. I could feel the attitude through the phone!

Can’t speak for others, my driver Ish, based on his name tag did a great job for me. I have a very low car and he was exceptionally careful loading and unloading the car and this was on Christmas morning.

Called AAA for a replacement battery, and Dunivins was called out to help me out. Their employee didnt have the right type of battery, so he had to jump start my car so I can follow him to the shop for a new battery. In the middle of the caravan from San Clemente to San Juan Capistrano, I got a call from the employee telling me that his boss told him that I wasnt allowed to come to the shop... So they left me stranded! Uh... thanks? They shouldnt be AAA certified if you ask me.

If i had the option to put no start I would! I had my car towed becuase I got in an accident and I was at the hospital when I called in to ask what the price would be to take out my car and they were very rude over the phone 2 different people answered and gave me 2 different office hours & 2 different prices. I thought that was weird so I had my dad go over to ask about hours & prices and they also gave him different information! I go over the next day to pick up my car as soon as I walk in the front desk lady sits there with her back to her customers and she couldnt even say hello and when I said something after waiting there for 10 minutes she says what car in a very rude manner, I ask her a question she looks at me and turns around doesnt respond. Not to mention the office smelled like weed she looked like she was on drugs. I decide to speak with her manager since shes not giving me much answers and the owner basically says go back to her she will answer you not helpful at all was very rude as well. She wouldnt release my car because my DL was with the highway patrol although I had a release form w/o ID from the officer. So I had to go back to the highway patrol office and have them give them a call so they can release my car. I take my car out and there was missing items from my car my compartments where all open and everything was taken out and thrown on the floor my registration papers where taken out and thrown on the floor. WORST TOWING PLACE EVER!! VERY RUDE AND IF YOUR CAR GOES IT WILL COEM OUT WITH MISSING ITEMS!

The worst towing experience of my life by Dan Hinkle. I needed to get my son’s car towed from Saddleback College to an approved AAA service station. He was driving around with no oil, zero, bone dry, and the car was probably a mile or so from completely seizing up. I filled the car with oil only to find there was a severe leak. That is when I called AAA and AAA called Dunivin’s to the rescue. It was approximately 8:30 when I called and AAA said the towing service would be there by 9:30 but most likely 9:15. At 9:30 I called AAA and they told me the towing service was in Dana Point, we were in Mission Viejo probably a 15 minute drive from Dana Point. They tried calling the driver but he did not respond. AAA called me back at 9:40PM and said they were working diligently to tract down the missing tow truck driver. Still no response! At 9:55 I decided to drive the car to the nearest Cadillac dealership and risk blowing up the engine. I got to the dealership, dropped off the car and on the way back AAA contacted me to tell me the driver from Dunivins never responded. Dunivins sucks don’t ever use this service, they have the worst customer care and their drivers are non-responsive.

Avoid these folks at all costs.I had to have my car towed there. They pulled everything out of my glove box and stole a hundred dollars, my cell phone connector and more disturbingly two freshly cut keys to my house. Also I now am missing a hub cap. They are crooks!
