Best Waste is the “B E S T” !!!!They have been our collection company for 3.5 years. Recycle as soon as it was available. Excellent service is their minimum! Today.... Two flat tires to start the day - 2 hours behind schedule. The crew was hustling, smiling and upbeat. I’ve seen them get stuck items from an emptied can, pick up small items that were dropped on the ground, the driver will get out of the cab and really hustle to help his crew get multiple cans from both sides of the street. A week ago the recycle driver was alone I watched him jog from cab to can to cab before our house and at our house. When I met him to get my empty can I asked about being by himself..... no complaining, no pretense, basically “I’m doing my job. Then I watched him do the same jogging and hustle at the next three houses and out of site! Did I mention that Best Waste is the “BEST” !!!!GOOD MANAGEMENT MAKES GOOD COMPANIES!

I recently started service with Best Waste. The reason I decided to go with best was out neighborhood had a clean up day in November 2020. They provided dumpsters, personal and actually helped people unload their items into the waste removal trucks. In the 15 years I have lived in this neighborhood this was the best organized dumpster clean up day we had. One of their employees asked me if I would consider using their services that day and I agreed to start in January. The trash can was dripped of in a reasonable amount of time, the collection started as agreed and this morning the Best representative who asked me if I would consider using their services was collecting the bin he smiled and said thanks for choosing best.

Great people great service! During this crazy winter weather we have had they have kept us in the loop through email about when to expect service. I miss read the email telling me to have my cans out on Saturday for pickup and didnt have them at the curb. I heard the truck coming by and when I looked out the window one of the drivers was running up my driveway to grab my can. Thanks for going out of your way guys!

This company is the best trash service Ive ever used and Ive been around a good while. Professional from top to bottom. Trash cans are always returned to the proper position and there is no loose ends. Every time weve had extra bags they are picked up by hand. No need to look anywhere else because they are the BEST.

Since we transferred our service to this company last year we have received a far superior customer experience. They always show up as scheduled and do a great job!!

We use Best for our home trash pick up and recycling. They are always on time and put the receptacles back in place with the lids clised.

Awful and rude customer service when I called. Acted like I was ruining her day by bothering to call and pay my bill.

Called their number several times to sign up for service but phone was busy. Went ahead and signed with Tiger

I should have listened to the reviews, they sure like to complain the trash can is to heavy. I can drag it 100yds but they can’t move it 5yds, get out of here. They also owe me reimbursement from canceled service but they never gave me my money back. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else.

I dont have a problem with their service. However I hate their actual trash can 🙄... Its so unbalanced its not funny, Im so tired of hitting my heals. The can never wants to stay on its wheels, no matter how heavy/lite it is, it tips back to its upright position. I know that sounds so silly. But its something that makes me want to cancel my service.

Edit: The workers that pick up the trash are great, but the way their customer service staff speaks to customers is garbage. Especially Cheryl. Every time I have talked with her, she seems annoyed I am even calling in. She is very short and slams the phone down when she hangs up. Even before you can get a word out. Not friendly at all.

Best Waste was scheduled to pick up on Wednesday 6 AM. At that time it was raining. They did not pick up. Instead they falsely stated that my waste was not out. They lied. They refused to come back to pick up. They would not credit me for their lack of service. When I called back asking for a credit they said no credit was due. When I asked to talk to the owner they refused to have him call me and they refused to give me his phone number. Instead they hung up on me. When I called back they hung up on me again.

Folks the is the contractor to use for trash removal! They are always respectful and never leave a mess! This is one bill my wife looks forward to paying. Well worth the money.

Service is great! Wish they had automatic withdraw however. Oh well, it is great service and decently priced. Thank you.

Can’t beat the level of service and attentiveness you get with this company. Ditch the corporate empires and use a local company that will meet your needs and schedule!

I have been a customer for years and because Im out of town a lot I also have very little trash. I just paid my last bill in July and the owner had my can picked up yesterday.

Never had a problem. Guys dont fling my trash cans around. I have been through 4 companies out here and they have been the best. Hands down.

We have had service with Best Waste for about 8 months now and so far its been great! They pick up in our neighborhood every Monday for trash and every other Monday for recycle. They even pick up on most holidays so service isnt delayed! The only complaint I think I would have is the recycle being picked up bi-weekly since we have 6 people in the house we generate alot of recyclable material.

Great Prices& Service, and the Best Customer Service Ive experienced (after talking with 2 other companies.) I switched to Best a few years ago when the other companies were charging a gas fee which would be changed every 3 months. Best had NO gas fee and it was the least expensive. Last Jan. I moved and when I notified them of the new address, they had a container out to me (in the country) within a couple days. For the next 2 months were had 3-5 extra containers (boxes/packing materials) out on the curb and they always took all of them without any extra charges. They are a Family Owned and Operated Local company and I think that is also important.

Absolutely the Best waste company ever! The Office staff are wonderful and accommodating. The service workers always wave and have even picked up the trash the neighbor dog got into over night.

So far I have had nothing but a great experience! Everyone from the guys picking up in the morning to the reps on the phone have been stellar more then helpful respectful and just all around professional. Very very satisfied and can’t see that changing anytime soon.

Garbage collection is awesome! The way the staff speaks to the customers is garbage!

I believe you guys come out to the country part of La Vernia. We have trash services but would absolutley love to use a recycling service!! If pick up from homes in a rural area is not ideal, then a drop of facility in town would be absolutely great. Something like a dumpster for separated recyclables. Glass, paper, plastic etc.So far I collect and take to my parents in town when they are home but an implemented area in town to take recycling would be perfect. Just a hopeful suggestion.

Switched to Best Waste recently. Did not pick up my recycle bin twice. The second time I called and spoke with owner. Owner told me his driver said my bin was not at the road. Told the owner that was not true and I insisted they pick up my trash as they agreed, or I would switch services. Owner told me to go ahead and switch. Which I did. Their bins sat up at the road for 3 days so I finally moved them back onto my property. Without the courtesy of a telephone call, Best waste employees came onto my property, with no body home, and walked around until they found the bins. They are lucky my son was not home! Anyway, they picked up the trash after all! Unprofessional ownership reflected in the attitudes of the employees. Best is WORST.

So far the best in Canyon Lake area. Cant wait for recycling pick up.

I met the guys with a cold drink today only to find out there was only one man today. Doing an awesome job in 100 degree heat by himself!!

I knew their service was excellent but I cannot believe what I just saw. Cold and wet outside but the Best Waste man ran my can half way back to the house on his way to check the neighbors who had neglected to put his an on the curb. Who does that anymore? Thank you for briefly transporting me back to the customer service of my youth....

CAROL has no respect for customers she talks to you horrible and when you are having a discussion about your bill or service she gives you attitude then she puts you on hold with out even letting you know just to transfer you with I guess the owner. I really hope shes not a part of this company and they can just get rid of her. She has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!! And this is why it makes the company look bad, dont get me wrong prices are great but the customer service sucks, and in order to get more customers the person on the other line needs to know how to have that type of personality and once again CAROL DOES NOT HAVE IT.

Switching to Best Waste from MD Services (they pissed me off for the last time after 12 years loyalty--it was a billing issue) today. I got a live nice lady on the phone so they are leaps & bounds ahead of MD Services (who never answered the phone, and were always rude.) I give 5 stars based on my interaction on the phone.My next door neighbor recommended Best Waste for La Verna, TX so I am going with them.

Matt westergardI had service with them while living by seguin. When I moved out of the area I called to cancel my service. They came To get the cans and dumped my trash in my yard and took the cans. Leaving the trash everywhere. Why?? Ive always paid my bill and didn’t damage any of their property. I find this out when I get a bill from my landlord for cleaning it all up. I called my old neighbor to see if it actually happened and she told me she watched them do it.

I called and cancelled by service because I moved out of the area. I was not told that I had a balance or I would have paid it right then. Now I get a collection letter from a collection agency for $13.86. No one ever called me to let me know that I had a balance, no one ever sent me a notice that I owed a balance. They are lacking in customer service for sure!

The receptionist is very rude and has an ugly attitude. Sad to say. Wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone.

Super quick and they make sure to get everything! Only down fall is i only get pick ups 1 day a week.

We use them for commercial roll-offs, trash pick up at our office and our home, our job site pickups are on time, their pricing is competitive and they communicate very well, would def. refer to a friend, co-worker or family member.

This company has terrible customer service! I was a new customer they bought my service from another company they didnt notify me just sent me a bill, changed my pick up date with no notice and then refused to pick up my trash when I called the same day. Cancelled service and they can pick the can up next day. Very disappointed in this company.
