Love empire nails! Jack and Kathy are so great to us and do such an amazing job! We recommend them to everyone

I got simple coffin shaped acrylics with gel polish. The woman doing my nails was complaining the whole time saying that what I wanted was really hard to do. When she was done my nails looked horrible and she charged me $60!

I showed up early and they took me early. Tom is wonderful. He did my pedicure and my manicure.I suggest not going after an 8hr work day...☺

I had a deluxe pedicure with considerable work on my very dry callouses and regular polish plus acrylic fingernail fills and gel polish. Jack did an excellent job on both and found me a beautiful color polish and added sparkles on two nails. The cost was $77. I would definitely return if I returned to the area and needed such services.

Rude front desk man and the nail salon is poorly staffed. Would not recommend!

Tom did an excellent job on my nails. He really took his time and was very professional - he even picked out a beautiful color for me. I got my nails done for my wedding and everyone was amazed by how nice they look! I appreciate his help in making me look my best for my big day!

Unfortunately my nail tech was 15 to 20 minutes late for my appointment. There was no apology made by the owner or technician. The manicure was also not well done. The polish was clumpy, uneven, and I had a lot of extra polish on my skin around the nails. Not worth the price or inconvenience.... My friend and I will not be returning.

Took a chance on walking in to get an acrylic fill. Waited 5 min and a young man was available. He did a very fast and good job and helped with color. Very satisfied.I would definitely go back again.

Initially I was very pleased with my visit to Empire Nails. I was able to get an appointment before I went to work after I realized the nail salon I usually go to in Cottonwood would be closed for the next 2 weeks gone on vacation (I would have known this if I hadnt pryed ALL 10 nails off a full month after my last fill)The man who did my full set of acrylic nails was very friendly, we talked the whole time and I felt very comfortable with him. I asked for his opinion on colors and he showed me a color he thought would look good with the accent color I wanted. Very friendly! I even thought I had found a back up shop 5 minutes from work to go to when I couldnt make it back to Cottonwood in time due to working late shifts.Less than 24 hours later I had a nail break when I picked up a gallon of water at work. I called and explained to the woman who answered that I had broken a nail and I could feel that another nail waa lifting. She asked who did my nails I told her it was Jack. She told me to come in the next day and he would fix them for me. Again he was nice when I walked in the door and sat down. I showed him the broken nail, pointed out the nail that I felt lifting and I told him I would pay to have more acrylic put on the nails because they were too thin and my job has me doing a lot of hard work with my hands; lifting and opening boxes and everything else that comes with working a retail job. I also asked if they had time to do a pedicure. He told me he would check with the man who answers the phone about the pedicure. He told me my nails were fine with the amount of acrylic on them and he would make them thicker when I come back for a fill. I pointed out which finger I could feel lifting, he wiggled it, picked at the edges and told me it wasnt lifting. I disagreed with him so again he picked at it and told me it wasnt lifting and he didnt need to do anything to it. He then started fixing the nail without ever asking the other man about the pedicure. He applied the tip and acrylic and got out his light to dry the acrylic ( I have never had any other nail tech do this for acrylic nails in all the years I have had my nails done at several shops because I have moved around a lot the past few years but whatever, Ill just let him do his thing) well he sets his light right on the wet acrylic and immediately acts annoyed with me and tries to reshape it with his finger. When that didnt work out so well for him he again expressed his annoyance with the situation.As my polish is drying two more ladies come in for their appointments the had just made for pedicures, he tells me oh, we dont have time to do your pedicure he did not ask me if I would like to wait or come back or make an appointment. I knew then that I wouldnt ever step foot in that shop again and just thought I would leave it at that and be very glad to see my normal guy at Cindys Nails in two weeks.I had the set done on Thursday, broke a nail on Friday, went back on Saturday the earlier this evening (Tuesday) I put my hand into the pocket of my pants and that nail that was lifting snapped off again just under the tip. I made a trip to Sedona on my day off so he could have a chance to fix it and keep a satisfied customer. That didnt seem to matter to him and now that I have a second broken nail in less than a week I decided it was time to write a review and hopefully save you your time, gas returning to their shop for repairs and most importantly your money.

Employees was very nice, I would have liked someone to great me or at least say Hello when I walked in, even if u are busy. They did a great job, n I would definitely go back. ☺

I don’t ordinarily leave bad reviews, but this one deserves it. I walked in to a salon empty except for one person getting a pedicure. Three men were working and all 3 ignored me for a couple of minutes - it was silent in there and I may as well have been invisible. Finally when the one at the front desk spoke to me around the apple he was eating, he told me that they couldn’t see me because another customer had an appointment beginning a half hour later. The attitude was negative and weird. I’ll never be back. Can’t report on what kind of work they do (and with the vibe, I’m glad I didn’t let any of them touch my body anyway, even if it was just my hands & feet. Energy transfers.)

Well since I was forced to find a new place in Sedona do have my pedicure and manicure I gave Empire Nails a try all based on the good reviews I read. And I have to agreed to those that had offer them 5 stars. The place was awesome clean, friendly, efficient and I did get the best pedicure and manicure ever. Thank You Kathie for taking a new customer last minute and Lee for such a good job, well done including my challenge ingrown nails. I must mentioned the massage I got was too the best... got out of Empire Nails prettier, happy and feeling honored by a great local business. Again thank You Empire Nails, I hope every one that read this review will give you too a try.

My nail guy was great. I had a pedicure and it was awesome. The only complaint is that it was quite warm in there but otherwise they were great.

We called ahead for an appointment for 4 pedicures. We arrived for our pedicures, picked out colors, and sat down. They only had two techs for four pedis. The massage chairs were weak, and two of them were not working at all. The two techs switched back and forth between us. I got the deluxe pedicure which the menu said was $36. It was supposed to include a massage and leg exfoliation. It was the quickest pedicure ever. All four of us (two got gel polish) were done in an hour. When we went to pay, I was charged $45. I said that wasnt correct, and the owner acted as if he had no idea what the prices were. Apparently they can charge you whatever price they feel is fair regardless of the menu. definitely would NOT recommend.

I highly recommend Empire Nails. I just had a gel manicure and pedicure AND eyebrows! All of them top notch😍 I will definitely be coming back to this spot.

Needed a last-minute gel manicure and regular pedicure. I popped in and had the best nail service Ive had done in a very long time! Tom was excellent!! I highly recommend him! Next time Im back in the Sedona area I will definitely be coming back here to have my nails done!

Horrible manicure experience. Probably the worst. Was talked into doing their powder stuff instead of gel which I originally wanted . Was told it will last 2 months. And it’s better for my nails. Doesn’t chip. And it’s not acrylic. Well it was none of that. My nails chipped the next day. After a week today three of them fell and the health of nails is worst than ever. Also the lady, Kathy, was not even skilled to do it. She messed up two nails right then which she apologized and blamed she “forgot” the steps. And after me asking she offered a reduced price.

I got acrylics with French tips. Probably the best looking manicure I have ever gotten! Kathy was very friendly and an intelligent conversationalist. She took her time and was very conscientious about making my nails look good, even though I was a walk-in.

ASK FOR TOM! He does a great job, is pleasant and quiet. I have been getting gel polish on my nails and toes for over a year. Again, ASK FOR TOM, he sterilizes his tools!

Booked four pedis and was assured on the phone they could do all four at the same time. They only had two nail techs, water was lukewarm, the pedi chairs were junky and didnt work. This was a no-frills pedi with no option to upgrade. Worse yet - they only take cash. I am honestly surprised they remain in business.

Just arrived in town with the ugliest nails! They were broken and unworthy of vacation. Tom helped make them BEAUTIFUL! Not only that but he gave the BEST pedicure! He wasn’t afraid to put effort into getting my farm feet ready for the pool side and my legs feels great after the leg rub. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. They were a very busy when I arrived but made sure to get me in quickly.

Gel chipped after 1 week and was poorly done to begin with, uneven polish and bumps within layers.

We were here vacationing and chose Empire Nails based on the Yelp reviews.My daughter and I both had pedis and both were extremely pleased with the service, cleanliness and overall attention we received by the 2 gentlemen that took care of us. I received the absolute BEST foot and leg massage of my 55 years! Highly recommend and the price is right as well!

Worst pedicure ever. The manicurist injured my foot. The front desk attendant was incredibly rude. She increased the posted price to that of a French pedicure even though that is not what I received. She was barking orders at customers creating a very unwelcome and stressful environment. The prices are higher than the California Bay Area. I will never return to this place.

I wouldnt go here if it was the last nail salon in Arizona. Ive had nothing but terrible experiences at this place. The owner is a female who has the worst temperament and manner. She couldnt care less about her clients and is incredibly rude to new customers. I watched her ridicule a girl coming in who thought she had an appointment. My experiences with her have been awful but Ive returned a few times out of desperation. She ripped all the skin under my eyebrows when waxing so much so that the skin peeled off and they were red raw for days. I never waxed again at this place and strongly recommend against doing it. She obviously doesnt want new business and doesnt care at all about customer service and evidently her services arent good either. Stay away!!!

I walked in and Jack was able to take me right away. Most excellent mani/pedi!! My eyebrows were a nightmare but Kathy not only made them perfect, she also showed me how to manage them. She took her time with me, I felt very welcomed here! Go here, trust me! Very knowledgeable and professional.

Went in today and was very disappointed. The woman at the front desk was particularly rude, not only to me but another couple that came in too. The nail tech was snippy and disrespectful to new clientele. I asked a simple question, if she could not use the glue on tips on me and she asked me to leave. Then, another client of this womans came up attacking me, telling me she is the best nail tech in sedona and I HAD to get my nails done here because no one in town will do what I was asking. This client pinned me in the corner harassing me, and not one staff member cared . stay away from this place, not only have I been treated this way myself, many locals I know have warned me. You have been warned.

Worst pedicure and service ive ever had. They were very rude..the pedicure was awful. They insisted i pay cash even though they had a card machine..which i refused. Oh and the guy cut my nails so short that i look like i have nothing but nubs now. The water was cold. They didnt have any music playing. Ive had a better pedicure from my 5 year old niece rubbing my feet. I would literally rather have edward scissorhands give me a pedicure than this place.

Aweful! Set an appointment for 11:30am went in and sat there for about 20 minutes. Then if it couldn’t get any worse I was told what I wanted was impossible to do and they weren’t even busy at all! I don’t recommend this place what so ever ! Older white guy at front desk was very very rude as well!

We were turned away from another nail place initially and we were taken immediately by Empire Nails. Jack was amazing did a beautiful French gel mani and pedi on me. Also squeezed in a pedi for my boyfriend. Very happy with the esthetic and customer service. Thank you again Jack, you were wonderful!!!!!!!

Highly dissatisfied with their customer service as well as display with pricing. Their massage chairs didn’t work and the water was barely warm. The gentleman that did my pedi was very good, but everyone else in the shop including who appeared to be the owner was very unpleasant to talk to and made me feel like I was an inconvenience being there. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The massage chair was out of order and they didnt let me know to offer one that worked and charged the same. Also the man used hot water and when I said something he didnt stop....I had to pull away. He didnt use cuticle lotion and upon doing the heels he kep going up by my ankle n it hurt several time I had to pull away.....It was the worse pedicure I have ever had. They didnt offer a discount for the chair being out of order or any of the other issues. Terrible place I will never go back!

Tourists from Georgia. My husband and I walked in this place before 5pm, not impressive at all. No one acknowledged us, everyone looked at us, but no one said a word! We chose to leave, we certainly dont want anyone to provide services to us that dont want to.
