I have been so nervous to make an appt with a new dentist, I’ve had bad experiences in the past and it has made me worried to try again. From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly, Patricia did my X-rays and was so personable and professional. Dr. Worstham was my dentist and made me feel instantly comfortable, she has a thoughtful laid back presence that helped put me at ease. The scheduling was simple and efficient. I wish I would have found North Seattle Dental years ago, I can’t wait to begin my dental plan!

Dr. Worstman is by far the most compassionate, caring and gentle dentist I have ever been treated by. As a person with PTSD who used to experience dentophobia I can attest that Dr. Worstman and her team go way above and beyond in ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience. She has always taken great care of my family and friends I have sent over the years as well, and has helped them overcome their anxiety and achieve great dental health.

I did not have a good feeling about this place after my first visit. I felt that they were more concerned about getting me in for various procedures so they can bill my insurance rather than care for my oral health.I was a new patient last year and I went in for an exam and cleaning. I also had pain in my front teeth. The dentist examined, and stated that my bottom teeth were pushing against my front - he said he could fix that and started to use a harsh buffer on the back of my front teeth and buffed away tooth to relieve the pressure and pain. He didnt ask or advise me what he was doing - just did it (his fix was not included in insurance and I had to pay $100 out of pocket). He also wanted to know what type of insurance I had as needed to probably get braces to take care of the pain in the front teeth as they were out of alignment. He also stated that I needed to replace two teeth implants, and I needed fillings for two cavities. They provided an estimate for the cavities and wanted to schedule a follow-up to talk about the other work I needed done.I went to another dentist and got a second opinion. Turns out I do not have any cavities and I do not need braces. The second opinion dentist recommended a mouth guard to help with the front teeth pain and also stated I just needed to replace the crowns on my implants.Im glad I got a second opinion because I will not have to go through needless procedures that I will pay out of pocket for.

Just had my first visit there, and my first impression is beyond 5 stars. Theyre 100% pros. This office is legit. Ive never felt so relaxed and well cared for at a dentist office. Im 49 and wish I found this place 4 decades ago.

This dental office is friendly, comfortable, and modern. The dentists and their team are detail-oriented and thorough. The little touches made such a difference: the instruments and water are warmed, there are televisions and headphones for your personal use, and they even provide sunglasses to protect your eyes from the overhead lights during the procedures. I had a pleasant experience!

It was a pleasure visiting you recently and I appreciate your attention to all the ways you attended to your practice. The waiting room is a successful area for an entry. The staff is uniformly pleasant and attentive. I ask many questions and they are respectfully answered. Dr. Worstman is entirely professional and charming, a reassuring dentist to turn to.I do have discomfort with the printed plan for future treatment and billing.Brandi patiently reviewed it all in a follow-up call. Wow, best dental experience Ive ever had. I am really impressed with every aspect of this office. Scheduling has been easy and pleasant. The office is a nice building that is convenient to get to and park at. I came in for a consult and was converted into a regular patient because everything was so well done. Ive never laughed so much while getting a filling done. Dr. Worstman was kind, always explained procedures and tools to me, and took the time to answer my questions. I never felt rushed into the things or pressured. Overall, wonderful experience.

Going to the dentist has always been hard for me, even when Im just getting my teeth cleaned. Joanne has such a gentle touch and goes out of her way to make it a less stressful experience. Everyone I have meet here has been fabulous and I am so happy to have found this practice!

I had the same dentist for well over 40 years and he took care of me and my entire family, but then he retired! I went 4 years without going to the dentist, a combination of being in mourning (lol) over losing my dentist and changing careers and just not getting back to the dentist chair. I then met Dr. Pickel at a non-medical event and found out he was a dentist and practiced in Northgate and I needed a dentist so I started out with him. I met his wife earlier too and they are nice, gracious, quality people and I didnt think I could ever replace my original dentist but Dr. Pickel and his staff are pleasing me very much! They have great technology, tools, skills, systems, administration, and dental care that Im very pleased with. My wife and daughter (the only one still in the home, the other 7 are moved out) will be going to Dr. Pickel also. I have had two visits so far and two more scheduled and Im just very pleased with what they offer and how they offer it!

Ive had enough crowns done to know this crown prep was thorough, efficient, and that new scanning tool for the lab was amazing. Dr. Pickel is the best with giving the numbing injections - hardly felt it; hes also quite the perfectionist with his work :) All the staff are the nicest people youll ever meet.

I cant say i have ever liked going to the dentist before. I have always tolerated it well, but Dr. Pickel is awesome and now i actually look forward to the dentist. I enjoy chatting with him. His practice seems more technologically advanced than any dentist Ive ever been to before. He is always good about checking pain levels when doing work and even my kids like going to the dentist. Also all the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Im very picky about my dentist and I love Smith. I live in the suburbs but I am willing to drive all the way into the city to see him. Thats how great of a dentist he is. He is very gentle yet does a good job. Even when he gives shots he does a massage or something and it hardly hurts. He cares for his patience and does an excellent job. I would say his equipment is advanced however the building looks a little more outdated. I highly recommend him. The only thing is scheduling an appt is hard since he is so well liked and popular.

I am an utter dentalphobe, and Dr. Worstman is the perfect dentist for me. I struggle to maintain my necessary treatments due to fear, and tend to go to the dentist only when I am having an issue, and Dr. Worstman always accepts me back with the same kind demeanor and gentle approach. Her office is absolutely rocking the COVID-19 safety measures, so that fear was alleviated as well. I cant recommend her and her staff highly enough.

Weve been going to Dr. Worstman for years. She has a gentle touch and a great sense of humor! And Patty, my regular hygienist, is lovely, and really good at what she does. I found this dental office on the web. It’s close to my house and had good reviews. I feel so fortunate to have found them. Dr Worstman is thorough, caring, professional but also very warm and friendly. I loved my hygienist, sorry I forgot her name, but she was great and I was very pleased with her work. She was gentle and always concerned about my well being. The office staff are wonderful. They are so friendly and helpful. I feel like we’ve been friends forever and it was only my second visit. Lynn is a gem and a joy to chat with. Also met brandy today and she’s a real sweetie too.

Dr. Worstman is such a sweet, and caring dentist. I was having problems with an abscess in my gums and it was when COVID-19 was going on so I was scared. But I was able to call her and she gave me great advice over the phone and texted with me every day until I felt better. She also said she would meet me at the office at my convenience to take a look at it. If this isn’t above and beyond I don’t know what is! Thank you so much! Definitely recommend!

I had terrible experience. I checked many times with front desk and they said the cleaning is fully covered and I don’t have to pay out of my pocket. She 100% confirmed with me so I trusted her, but when I saw my bill I was surprised they were asking me for $400. I call them and their excuse was MISINFORMATION. Now I have to pay $400 because of their misinformation. I fully trusted them but what they are doing to me is same as scam.

Was very relieved not to have incurred a $75 fee for being so late for my appt today. - Believe this is the first time I have been more than a few minutes late. - It was very supportive that Brandy was so supportive of my exhilaration for an amazing Canasta lesson that went 45 minutes overtime!

I absolutely loved my experience at North Seattle Dental! I am new to the Seattle area and I was nervous about finding a dentist I loved as much as the one from my hometown. This place exceeded my expectations (and they even gave me free customized chapstick that tastes and feels amazing!)First of all, the office is easy to find, plenty of parking and right next to I5. The facility is beautiful and well maintained and you can tell the staff takes pride in what they do.Everyone was very friendly and I felt welcomed right away. They took X-rays and provided me lots of information on what the were doing, why they were checking for certain things and they showed me lots of pictures of my teeth. They had TV screens where they could show me images of my x-rays, photos of the inside of my mouth- the works! They even made some jokes about the cable channels you can watch if you have a long procedure sitting in the chair (it was true!)Dr. Pickel was very friendly, funny and provided me with a lot of background on the data they needed to collect. His entire philosophy about dental care was amazing- looking to prevent any issues from occurring by establishing a baseline and monitoring changes. I was very impressed with the speed, professional attitude of the staff and quality of the exam.This is my first visit (routine cleaning) and I definitely plan to go back! Highly recommend!

The whole family has been patients at North Seattle Dental with Dr. Pickell 5 or 6 years. He has coordinated with the kids orthodontist for follow up dental work, including an unusual tooth condition that required specialist referrals. My experience was awesome the staff are great and my dentist explained everything to Me so I could understand my treatment plan. The waiting room is very comfortable. My only wish is that the office would be sent free.

The staff are all nice people who do their best to make our visit pleasant. I’ve had problems that every DDS dx’d as ‘probable bite issues’. He gave me a different Dx + showed me the visual evidence. This led to a different treatment plan & the final solution I was looking for. I recommend him highly.

I love Dr. Worstman! Ive had a lot of dental work done over my lifetime and Ive always had a little bit of pain that Ive come to accept as part of the process. I recently moved to Seattle and needed to get a filling. When I went in to get the procedure done I was expecting to feel the same usual mild pain I always felt. I didnt feel a thing! Nothing! Dr. P. takes good care of me and works to prevent my anxiety with no shame directed my way, even though I feel like a wimp. The office staff are friendly and know me by name. The staff are super keen on monitoring my health issues, medications, procedures and how they affect my dental health. This makes me feel well taken care of. Also, Ive had several after-hours and weekend emergencies over the years with direct access to the doctor. I really love this team!

Dr. Pickel was amazingly quick to accomodate an emergency situation on two different occasions this past year. I have been seeing him loyally for over 20 years and am more than happy to recommend him to anyone - and have referred at least 10 new patients over the years.

I called this morning about pain I was experiencing following the work of an out of town dentist and Dr. Pickel’s staff arranged for me to see him within the hour. At the office everyone was pleasant and efficient and in short order I was in the chair and Dr. Pickel was looking at the X-ray his assistant Emily had taken when I arrived. He set to work dealing with the problem and in a few minutes all was well. Dr. Pickel was patient and detailed as he answered all my questions and invited me to call with any future questions or problems. It was a relief to be in such good hands from start to finish. Dr. Leah Fein and her assistants consistently crack me up while doing top-notch work. Its hard to laugh with all that stuff in your mouth, so I have been assiduously cultivating self-control during my visits. Additionally, they are painless. Thats right, painless. During my last filling, I felt only a single, light prick the whole time. Not even the annoying pressure afterwards. They are like magical dental fairies waving wands above your head until everything is right again.

It was the most thorough and gentle dental exam and cleaning I have ever had - very satisfied. I wish I had found this practice years ago.

I am completely pleased with all aspects of North Seattle Dental: handling of insurance (not an easy task), genuine friendliness of all the personnel, comprehensive assessment of work needed, along with a recommended prioritized schedule, and, especially, the exceptional dentistry!(except maybe the small, albeit free, parking spaces in the buildings garage)
