This dental office is excellent! Everyone who works here is professional & responsive. They are very busy but they do their best to get you the appointments that you need. Dr. Prakash is very knowledgeable and his techs are all great. I highly recommend Shannon, shes done all my cleanings and she was very skilled and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable!

Dr. Prakash is very kind and always makes me feel comfortable. He takes the time to explain what he is seeing and doing which puts my mind at ease.He provides excellent care and even sends a personal follow up to make sure that everything is going well.Mary and Julie are also so welcoming and make coming to the dentist easy.

A lifetime of brittle teeth led to multiple root canals, then extractions and implants and crowns and re-crowns, I have spend probably more than 100 hours in dental chairs over my life. For the past 20 years I have been going to this clinic every 6 months for, at minimum, a cleaning. At the end of 2020 the practice has passed to the third owner Ive seen, in succession. I do not tolerate mediocre dentistry because Im just tired of going in every other year for fixes, and Ive had a few poor dentists.Dr. Prakash, the latest owner, is a SUPERIOR dentist. He carefully dealt with my gold crown replacement, it fit perfectly, with no in-mouth adjustment! The man enjoys his work, and he listens and provides options and his staff really seems to like him. Julie at the front desk is all over it, an especially top-notch communicator. My crown could not be better, the bite perfect. My highest recommendation.

My experience at Fresh Smile Dental is hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Prakash is extremely detail oriented and spent extra time to make sure my teeth were clean and that everything was in order (one of the bondings that attach to my retainer had come loose and he spent an extra 30 mins reattaching it then and there). He was patient and took the the time to explain what he was doing and why (e.g interpreting X-rays), provide advice (e.g. highlight specific areas to focus on brushing), and answer my questions. Throughout my visit, he also made sure I was comfortable and sought feedback to ensure everything was alright. Finally, he seems to treat his staff like family, which creates a really positive environment to be in. 10/10 will come back. This was a perfect experience.

Dr.Zhang is very knowledgable and helpful. She does care about her patients and give us followup calls. Her skills are also excellent and I never felt painful even during deep cleaning. Most importantly, they never recommend unnecessary services to the patients and helped to save their money. I highly recommend this dentist. She is really awesome! BTW, they have private parking on the Capitol Hill!!

I’ve started to come to Dr Zhang since last year and the experience has been amazing. I got a crown for a broken tooth and it’s working perfectly! The receptionist is super nice and Sarah, who cleaned my teeth, is very gentle and caring.

I have always had a fear of the dentist - a phobia, really. This is the first time, I completely trust a dentist and feel little trepidation going to an appointment. Dr. Zhang, is gentle, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and efficient.

This is the best dental clinic I have been to so far. The environment is so comforting and the staff are super careful with your teeth. They care more than you do. And if you only speak Chinese, this is the place to go! Dr Maggie speaks fluent Chinese.

Ive been a patient since Dr. Zhangs office opened and am very happy with the level of professional and friendly service provided to me. Dr Zhang is one of the best dentists that Ive ever had and she fully explains your options, each procedures and makes sure you are comfortable during any procedures. Highly recommend this office especially to those of us that are a bit anxious about having dental work done.BTW, the office also offers oral appliance for patients with sleep apnea. I got mine and helped a lot with my sleep quality.

I normally do serious research before making important decisions, as an investor. A dentist is super critical and deserve my efforts. The reasons why I recommend Dr. Zhang are below: a) solid and comprehensive academic background: medical degree in a top Chinese medical university, PhD here in the United States, and professional Dental Medicine Doctorate from UPenn. She has a bigger picture and wider knowledge when solving your dental issues when needed. b) Great reviews from my interviews with her patients and my personal experiences echo too. Specifically, Dr. Zhang is professional, experienced, and caring - trying her best to help; c) If your medical English is actually at the primary-school level like mine is and your mother tongue is Mandarin, youll have a better experience here.

All the staff here are so friendly. They make your visit so comfortable. And the Doctor is a Chinese, make it easier for you if you are not familiar with the dental terms like me.

I dont believe the majority of these reviews are authentic. I went in for a filling on a chipped front tooth to find my other side of my tooth chipped when I left. The tooth Dr. Zheng filled is now slightly crooked from applying too much filament to the back of the tooth and polishing only the front. I know these issues are only cosmetic and can be fixed by a dentist with more skill in this area but its still so frustrating. In order to get this fixed now I would have to open a medical malpractice claim, go into battle with my insurance company or shell out thousands of dollars to get it fixed. Do yourself a favor and shop around before getting any work done, especially if it is as visible as mine.

I’ve had issues with getting a hold of anybody at their office, but Dr. Zhang has been very helpful in getting back to me after all my attempts to reach them. I appreciate that she took the time to reach out to me even though I have almost given up. Thank you!

Everyone, all of the staff, are very professional. My hygienist was great, careful not to totally destroy my gums like some do, but also good about doing a thorough job cleaning! Dr. Maggie was great, very personable, easy to talk with, knowledgable and friendly. Would definitely recommend this practice for anyone looking for a dentist.

Fantastic Experience at Fresh Smile! When I was younger, I had very traumatic dental experiences which led me to avoiding the dentist into adulthood. Dr. Zhang and my hygienist, Melissa, are warm and caring and genuinely concerned about me and me dental health. I have been going for almost 6 years and I am to the point where I am starting to look forward to a visit.

I have my wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Zhang. I was worried about the pain but it turned out to be a great experience. So far so good with the office now being owned/run by Dr. Maggie, vs. Dr. Felix Marcial (who I thought was excellent). I walked into to my 6-month cleaning telling the hygienist and Dr. Maggie that after this visit I would probably see a dentist near where I live (Ballard) vs. trekking across town to Capitol Hill. When I moved away from Capitol Hill in 2005 I kept visiting Dr. Marcial because of his excellent work. Well, Dr. Maggie won me over and Im going to keep making the trip and give it a go with her.

Ive been a patient of this office since I moved to Seattle in 2011. Dr. Maggie truly care about my oral health. She took time to explain all dental needs. No upsale for whitening or any other procedures. The treatment plan was also explained clearly.I am so happy that when Dr. Marcial sold his practice that Dr. Maggie retained the previous staffs including my hygienist. Dr. Maggie is very professional and kind. I recommend this practice with no reservations at all.

I went for a cleaning & evaluation this morning, and was impressed by the skill & attention to detail of everyone here. The front desk staff took the time to research & explain my insurance to me and create a plan that fit my budget. The hygienist and xray tech magically did their jobs without any of the painful jabs Ive had to suffer through at other dentists offices. And Dr. Zhang was great at listening to all my concerns and helping me prioritize solutions.I especially appreciate that they stayed focused on my health instead of my wallet. Im used to other dentists trying to sell me on the latest fad in expensive, needless cosmetics, or trying to do procedures that would be safer with a specialist, but they didnt hassle me with any of those things here. Dr. Zhangs professionalism & responsibility are a breath of fresh air.

I was seen in a relatively timely manner (within about 15 minutes of my appointment time), and I was done with my x-rays and cleaning within less than an hour of showing up.
