I found out about varnish on Instagram and immediately had to book an appointment because they’re such amazing artists. Kim was so sweet she walked me through the whole process of a lash lift as it was my first time and my lashes turned out amazing. I booked an appointment for my brows the same day. I am super excited for my upcoming appointment for my nails with Emily. I can’t say enough about how amazing the staff is and how friendly they are especially me being a new client and not knowing how each process worked.

These ladies are wonderful!Emily and Kim are fantastic and this little nail studio is simply sensational!I got a full set of Apres Gel X here with a nail design by Emily said she was diligent about the details. I couldnt be happier with my nails! I also had the CBD pedicure with Kim and it was so relaxing. My feet feel so much better now and my toes area looking super cute! I think Ill get toe nail art next time. I highly recommend this for your go to for natural and artificial nails! They offer a vast variety of nail art, hand painted and bling! Kim also offers lash and brow services which I also have made appointments for already 😍

Varnish is the only nail salon I will let near these hands for the rest of my life, they are truly skilled at nail art and committed to providing the highest quality experience they can offer! Kim is always transparent about what services work best for me and understands what nail shape I need although I don’t have the words to describe it!!! The aesthetics of the space are just as beautiful as your mani will be and Kim, Emily and Mai are the most welcoming team around. Mai and Kim are extremely professional and go the extra mile for their clients. I booked a manicure with Mai for my upcoming elopement only to have the appointment rescheduled due to building access issues that were not the fault of Mai or Varnish. I communicated with Mai that I was willing to wait for maintenance to resolve the issue but unfortunately that was not an option due to it being a Sunday. She worked with Kim to get me in the very next day. It meant a lot to me that they were flexible, understanding, and willing to accommodate me even if their schedules were crazy.Kim did an amazing job on my manicure. I showed her a few reference photos and she worked with me to come up with something that I loved. She asked my feedback multiple times to ensure I loved the shape, colors, and overall design. She is very much a perfectionist and reviewed the shape/size of my nails and the corresponding design against each other, making sure they matched and were cohesive. I will definitely visit Varnish again in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing manicure from a talented and superstar staff!

I choose my salons based on product, price, quality, and most importantly, the ability to connect with my nail tech (I mean after all, we essentially are holding hands for 45 minutes.)The women at Varnish dance the kind of fine line between professionalism, and comfortability with their clients that you can only experience with locally owned shops. Always walk out feeling pretty AF.Cbd Pedicures, full sets of gels, or just a basic mani, doesnt matter, its all good. All the artists are great and creative with nail designs and its a clean and welcoming space.

I loved this salon & my review is specifically for the extension nail options. While they looked really good, they all started popping off the very next day. I will note that they offered to fix it and attach more but after I lost 4 in one day I just gave up & wasn’t interested. These were worse than the press on nails you can get at target which was super disappointing considering a full set wasn’t necessarily cheap.Their nail art on NATURAL nails though is killer & truly good work. I just wish the extensions lasted :/

Although I only got a pedicure the time I went to Varnish, I have been a witness to their incredibly gifted nail art on my lovely friends and I can say with 100% certainty that my roomies and I will be going to these ladies with all of our nail needs!Big pandemic plus- they are very socially safe, wear masks the whole time, and have the limit to two customers per block of time. (It may have changed to one, but when I went ~a month ago it was two)I have only met Kim and Emily, but they were both extremely sweet, friendly, professional, and dedicated to giving you an exquisite experience.The nail art is sublime to put it lightly. I’m so happy I found varnish! The spot is clean and hidden and adorable and very easy to find in sodo. The ladies who own this spot are so talented with nail art and nails trends you feel like you are definitely getting exactly what you want. They are also very welcoming, the moment I first showed up we were chatting like old friends. They are great. You’ll look like an Instagram goal the moment you leave with your nails on point! I died my brows and the next day its not there. When I tried to contact they were not nice. They were not professional at all.
