It wasn’t busy. I came in on a tuesday afternoon and there were only two other clients there when I came in and one left a few minutes later. I asked for a shellac french manicure. I asked for the pink and white but she just gave me clear I think. She was in a rush but there was only one other customer in there other than me. I had to point out some parts where she didnt paint the French tip well like in the corners. I also had to file it down to make it more even when I got home. The prices are reasonable and The manicure looks fine if you dont look too close but I wish she could’ve taken her time more and paid attention to the details instead of rushing.UPDATE:I went back and another lady did my nails and she did very well! The color is not what I expected compared to the sample but Im still happy with the results and the attention to detail she had while doing my nails.
If you are looking for a great pedicure at a reasonable price, go to Lilys ask for Mary. If you have hard working hands, and want them cleaned up, ask for Mary. There are two other women who do excellent manicures, and pedicures. This is a family owned place. All types of customers: men, women, old young. Great!
They were so gentle and kind! I got their acrylic nails and they look so good!! 5 star deserved!! 🤩
My husband and I go regularly for pedicures. When youre older you need help keeping those toenails cut and healthy. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. Prices are very affordable. One sitting and we have happy feet!
GREAT JOB, BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS 👍 LOVE IT AND THE HELP,,👌
Excellent mani-pedi today (as always).
AMAZING JOB!
Ive been getting my nails done for 20 yrs. From Florida to Vermont to New Hampshire to Idaho and others. This salon is so professional and detailed from beginning to end! The buffing after a fill is top of the line QUALITY!! Not a spot missed and used (I think) 5 buffer tools for different areas and finer course tool for the last one. The last tool was like a whisper on the nail! So delicate! He did fabulous work! And if youve ever had a nail tech that doesnt do nice thin nails ... they end up thick and not at all natural looking, you know what I mean! I hate when nail techs dont thin out the fills! This was perfect! Then he had another lady paint my nails and apply the diamonds ... one per finger. And she was just as delicate and detailed as he was. They knew I was from out of town and wouldnt be back monthly, but still they were completely detailed and professional with their work. Couldnt be more pleased! Only complaint I have... of there is a complaint at all to make... is that they dont do design work. Which is fine... just wanted to do something fun since I dont get design work where I live so was looking forward to having something fun for the upcoming December holiday season. So if that is the worst thing they do... is no designing... then anyone should be happy to go here and have them do quality work on their nails!
One star well deserved! I was in today for a regular manicure. I was the very first customer arrived. There were three nail staff and the male owner in the store. I immediately got the service upon my arrival. The lady who worked with me was very patient and careful at the beginning, until the fourth customer walked in, she started to get panic! She was trying to have the male owner paint my nails instead! I refused considering he doesnt have any training or license to do so!!!! She started to become impatient with me and finished my nails in an EXTREME RUSH then jumped to her next customer. I would be fine with that if she could do a good job. Unfortunately, she painted my nails (both hands) very roughly. The polish has been painted on my flesh and hangnails! Totally unacceptable. While I was sitting there to get the nails dry, the male owner walked over and turned off the fan, told me that my nails were good to go! I stood up and washed my hands and discovered my nails were barely dry! Three of them were damaged after I wiped my hands. The male owner blamed everything on me stating that I was not supposed to wash my hands at all! Then one of his staff talked to him in Vietnamese, he was very UPSET that he had to re-paint my vanished nails. I was embarrassed by his negative attitude towards me in front of other customers there! With that attitude, he re-painted my nails with grudge! The results I got was worse than I could imagine.THANKS FOR RUINING MY DAY! Never come back again!
I used to enjoy coming here. My co-worker brought me here in 2013 and it was so busy and flourishing. I know that over time theyve had staff loss/turnover, but the service has suffered too. Was getting my nails dipped the last few times by the wife/co-owner. Shes usually does my nails and really well, but this last time she let her husband do my nails-2.5hrs later and no check-in from her, they looked horrible!I was so disappointed. I came back another day and she fixed them, but the energy has changed. I will no longer be spending my money here. If Im a loyal client, treat me as such.
Lily Nails is the absolute best!! They will take care of you from the moment you call or walk in the door. They provide excellent manicures, fills, pedicures and waxing. You are greeted with kindness the moment you call or walk in door!! Always the best!
Great neighborhood nail & waxing salon. They really do an awesome job. I appreciate their attention to detail.
This is a great place! Very reasonable prices, pleasant, clean, relaxing environment, excellant sterilization practices, easy & free on-street parking, quite a neighborly vibe, and exceptionally friendly owners and staff who work hard to accommodate all walk-ins and appts. Very diverse clientele, old to young, all backgrounds, and consistently a few fellas who have discovered how nice it is to get a good pedicure!Personally I am a semi-monthly regular who primarily gets pedicures but also comes here with my adult kids or friends a few times a year for a fun weekend treat.
Just needs new chairs and bring up to date
Great local n as il salon. Been coming here for years
Love this place and Ive have been going for years! No other place I have tried has been better. Very very happy here.
My first and LAST experience at Lily Nails was worse than awful. I went in to get a full set and a pedicure with shilac. $$$ Not only did they rush the whole process, the quality of the job done was horrendous! My $90 full set didnt even last two days! Had multiple broken nails with more on the way of breaking off.. I go in and ask for a refund bc I didnt want them touching my nails again. Waste of time, for the same place to fix them right?! The older man that did the job then proceeded yelling at me, calling me a liar and then only refunded me $20! I dont recommend anyone spend their hard earned money at Lily Nails shop!
Every time Kim does my gel manicure it lasts for more than a month without breaking or piling
They do great work. Nails and waxing. Looses a star because it hasnt been updated in a while. That also keeps the prices low.
It was a great experience for my mother
My go-to nail shop! Always do a great job.
I really liked it here. Although its not the nicest looking spot, the staff greeted me right away and I was able to be serviced within minutes even with a few other clients already in.
Very Nice, quiet, friendly environment. 9year costumer.
I have gone here several times always hoping for a better experience...Its the place I go if I have not planned to get my mani done at my normal salon (May Salon on Eastlake Ave in SLU- they are FANTASTIC!!!). Going to lilly nail I know I will walk in, ask for a gel manicure and the very rude male owner ushers me over to pick a color and wait (for the record Im fine waiting but he always says 5 minutes and its more like 30). The really young nice girl always does a great job. She takes care with cutting cuticles, filing rough edges and painting to make sure the mani lasts. The other women in there seem like they hate their jobs; they rush with the cuticles (I have left bleeding at least twice), and paint in a hurry. 3 weeks ago the young lady did my manicure and they still looked beautiful. I went in 2 days ago because I wanted a different color, The older woman sat down to do my nails and roughly started cutting haphazardly, then she painted very unevenly- the color is much darker in the middle of my nail than on the edges, put oil on my fingers and sent me home (total time 19 minutes). Im 2 days into my gel manicure and my thumbs are peeling, the polish is chipped off the ends of 6 of my fingers and I still have red paint on my cuticles. $26+tip is too much for this place. May Salon charges $20 and you get a GREAT massage, great service and a mani that will last you weeks...Not to mention they are nice and actually make you feel welcomed.side note-the male owner often sits in the massaging pedicure chairs, playing a very loud video game on his phone while his worker bees are busy serving customers. its really rude and horribly disruptive.if I could give you zero starts I would.
A day after my jell manicure i washed my hands and it all came off and the man did it and he always messes up and 1 week later i got a ingrone nail and i did not cut my nails at all
The owner is the worst ever! He is impolite in such a way of having no manner to guests at all.By the way, I like Ms.Ly’s work. If it is not because of her, I would never come back
Just ok service. I live nearby and have been there several times. On the door it states they are open until 7:30 on Monday-Saturday. Today I walked in at 6:30, only wanting shellac removal. The whole staff was sitting in the corner of the room, and the man who I think is the owner said to come back tomorrow. I asked if they are closing early now and he said I have a meeting. It was a blunt and a bit impolite. The open sign should have been turned off and the door locked.
Treat yourself to an affordable luxury
Great and inexpensive place for nails
Great service. Nails lasted a long time.
I love them.
Great experience
Very unprofessional and rude people! They should not be in the service industry!
Great service!
