I have only had gel manicures 2 times before this time. I went because I had engagement photos and wanted my nails to look nice.When I left everything seemed fine. People are nice, color was pretty and paint was even. I did notice that there was gel polish on my cuticles but it wasn’t super obvious and I thought would be fine. However, 3 days later and I realize why this is not fine. As my nails have grown, the polish that was on my cuticles is sharp and catches on everything. Out of 10 nails, I have one that is done correctly.Lessons were learned for me. I definitely won’t go back to NK nails. They are so busy and rushed that they don’t take the time to do a good job no matter how friendly they are. But I have learned what to watch for and won’t leave a salon with gel polish on my cuticles again.

I have been there three times now and every time I’m happy. I had ombré dip powder done today based off of a photo and when I left my nails looked just like the photo. Very happy.

Theyve always been able to take me in on a walk-in basis within 15mins. The trade-off is that its rather cramped at each booth but not so bad I avoid it. Excellent prices, experienced technicians and the convenience factor make this my favorite.

Always Too rushed due to how busy, I only went back to use coupon for filling my card with stamps. Didnt get the full value for using all the stamps anyway! They Wouldnt listen to my friends nail complaints, did hers diff than asked, so shes never going back either.

I took my mother inlaw here today and may did my nails and let me tell you she is 👏 amazing and fast and will go to her every 2 weeks from now on...I cant stop looking at my nails they are perfect

Prices are not consistent. I paid $60 today for my nails on the left ($5 up charge for length and $5 for shape) and last time I paid $50 for the ones on the right. Same length and everything. Not sure what that’s about.

Im always happy when I go here. Jackie is phenomenal, and her work is flawless! She made me a thumb nail for months on end after I lost mine, and never charged me in excess for it either.Color selection is unreal and they will match any photo you give to the best of their ability, they also give you a drink with any service over 20$ (wine, champagne, soda, water, teas)Definitely the best place Ive been to in the entire Seattle area, worth the hour drive for me to go back every 2 weeks!

The employees talk to much to each other which is really rude, they need to focus on the customer and not talk to each other. They can do that when they get a break. Im paying for full attention.

Came here on a random encounter without a reservation. They were able to accommodate us very quickly despite being SWAMPED with customers! Every single nail station was booked! But they seated us quickly and in 30 minutes we had BEAUTIFUL nails! Will absolutely come back here again!!

Asked for deluxe treatment and had to keep asking for basic treatment. My lady was super lazy the jet was broken and im not coming back

So me & my girlfriend decided to try this shop since it used to be my shop well we get there 15 mins early and they get us seated then which was nice except we wanted to rainbow so 10 different colors and they wanted to charge us an extra $20 for that which would have made the FILL, $55-60 which is ridiculous so we went with 2 colors, neon pink & green and they charged an extra $5 for the fill, so we paid $40 for an acrylic fill with shellac which is really pricy for nails when we normally pay $30 for a fill elsewhereWell after we left the nail we noticed sooo many mistakes with our nails, like my friends fill only took 15 to 20 mins since her technician would rather watch TV on her phone and my technician took longer to do my fill but there were mistakes with my nails as well like different shapes on a few nailsWe will never ever go back after today

I came in today the lady with purple top is very rude . I didn’t see the small sign in the front and I wa s looking at the color of manicure snd she said to me hey . Sanitize your hand your touching my stuff . Then in almost 80 degrees heat she took my temperature. I fully understand that you don’t have to be rude . Not sure if she’s the owner but I like the guys that used to be in the front fetore I believed they are the owners. I live very closed her but I would go to other places instead . Never coming back here ever again . I also sanitize my hands . I’m a health care worker and also been vaccinated back in February . When you have someone who is very rude it ruin your whole visit . They need someone who have good positive vibe in the front . Been coming to this place for a long time even when we’re in the other place .

I paid $70 for full set with shellac.The price isnt an issue but the quality of the work is.My nails are bubbly and if you get your nails done then you know what that means, they didnt file down the acrylic before the polish so the polish isnt flush which makes it visibly uneven. Its partially my fault because I didnt feel like correcting her mid polish but thats like asking the mailman to close the mailbox, highly rhetorical. Ive gotten my nails done twice here now and unfortunately the first time, they all broke in a week and this time they stuck me with a beginner. I wont be back.

The place reeked of chemicals. And the technician I had gave me a full pedicure with paraffin dip and clay mask, when rubbing the products into my foot she bruised the top of my foot instead of rubbing with the tendon she rubbed against them and left a big bruise. Between that and the headache I got from the wreaking chemicals I will never go back even if you paid me to go back I wouldnt go back. What a waste of 40 bucks.

It depends who you get first time i went they were beautiful this time got a different lady showed a pic and she saw it but i got something completely different oh well guess next Ill choose different the nails arent horrible just not what i thought Id get.

This is a great nail place- they do a great job with mani and pedicures, they also offer wine, beer or tea on the house.

Blown away by the quality of dip nail manicures by Yen. Her attention to detail is unparalleled. Also, my pedicures have been flawless every time!

Ive gone a few times .. trying to give them a chance... they rush you to pick a color. Then push shellac for the upsale... the pedicure was substandard she hardly scrubbed my feet at all then massaged way to hard and left bruses i asked her to stop she was hurting me.. my nail shape awful I asked for stiletto and got very unshapley ones.. it was rushed because they are rushed at some point you start wondering are these women and one man forced workers. The salon is clean the service and rushing is horrible. I should be able to pick my color and style with time... there is no nail tech so forget about the extras.. I will not be going back at all ever again!!! And I dont suggest anyone else does either

I was gifted a pedicure and made an appointment. I called because I was able to come in early and they were able to get me in fast. My feet look great and the service was excellent. They took my temperature before I came in, made me use hand sanitizer and fill out a symptom questionnaire. Everyone had masks on, the place was spotless, and there were people seated safe distances. I wish the price were a little lower, but Im overall very happy with my experience.

Had to come home and finish up my nails we finish them because they were scaly had air bubbles on them. The wrap foil wrap does look nice but the quality of the work has a lot to be desired.

Amazing experience.

I had been coming here for a while after my like 30th visit they finally give me a stamp card. I kept giving chances but they are inconsistent each time my nails were done different and not great considering the price. They dont remember customers even though I always spend quite a bit of money coming in. Its all about quantity not quality. I paid to get shellac removed after breaking 2 nails and being reassured it wouldnt ruin my real nails. Not only did they destroy my nails by improperly scraping my real nails they broke 3 more of my nails and filed the SKIN around my nail so I now have raw cuts around my painfully short nails. I had to cut them and reshape them after paying them to do it. Will NOT be returning!

Very well organized under the circumstances. Everyone must wear a mask and use hand sanitizer before entering. The workers wear masks and face shields. They take your temperature and there are sneeze guards between the chairs. And a great pedicure

Very clean, pedicurist do a great job on my feet. A great value for the price. They even give a complimentary drink while their doing your feet. Highly recommend!

It was my first visit! I will go back. I only got a pedicure but they did a good job. I ran into someone that I knew which made me feel a little more comfortable about not going to my regulars.

I love this nail salon, one of the best nail salons that I have ever been to. Apparently, they are rated a four star nail salon, however I think they should be rated a five star nail salon!

Here now. When I put my name on the list they told me the wait would be “10 minutes”.That was over an hour ago.15 minutes ago they said “just 5 more minutes”. What is time, anyway?I’m here with a friend who wants to stay or else I would have been out of here by now. I can’t imagine a pedicure good enough to make up for this initial impression, but can’t speak to their work yet because I haven’t been seated.

Had a wonderful experience each time Ive gone here. First time was a surprise to me, didnt know they had complementary wine. Nails looked great for weeks. Loved the paraffin dip.

Go to NK on a regular basis. Have always been pleased until today. Lin does a wonderful job with manicure. I had a different tech today for my pedicure. She did a good job but did not say a word just motioned and was rough. Lin was so rushed each coat of polish put on before the last coat dried. Running clients through like cattle not a positive experience, but I will go back.

Hanna does an excellent job on my toes. She knows my issues of ingrown nails, fungus, callus problems and plantar fasciitis.

Lynn was amazing! I went in with a bad experience from a previous nail salon and she was so sweet and very gentle. She helped me pick my color and she fixed everything that was wrong with my nails before. The shaped was redone, she filled the nails and we got a better color. Thank you so much!

Very poor service!! They cut my nails to short and left the bottom of my feet horribly. The lady that did my pedicure was too busy talking to another employee so she did everything fast and ignored me when i told her she was hurting me. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN

I have given this nail salon way too many chances to do great quality on my nails and every time they just dont do a good job. While getting my nails done Ive watched nail techs drop nail polish brush on the floor and continue to paint the patients nails without wiping it off, Ive also seen how rude these nail techs are and how they treat people. I showed the lady the design I wanted and asked if she could do it and she said yes, well it was so not the same. The moral of this nail salon is just very unprofessional and unwelcoming. Ive wasted NOT only my money but also my time that I value to get my nails done the way I want and they just TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE. Every time my nail breaks within 3 DAYS and I just dont have time to go back because Im constantly working! They charge way too much for POOR QUALITY. Please do better

Always open. Doesnt take hours to get a mani/pedi. Nails & toes done @ the same time. Great service & a wide variety of nail colors and types of manicures. Excellent service and having a wine while you get taking care of..fun. Price cant be beat.

My new favorite nail salon. Ive never waited more than 5 minutes, even when it appears to be super busy. I mostly get regular manicures and the quality is always on par. The pay with cash punch card and the beverage service are awesome bonuses!

Wonderful and friendly staff, and even though they’re alwayssss busy, they amniwlwdge you right away and get you in quickly. They do a great job, but lately I feel like I’m not getting my money’s worth. I sit down and am out the door in 20 minutes. I know butts in seats equals money, but I feel rushed, and like they’re doing the bare minimum.

I would never recommend anyone to go here for their nails. This was my worst experience ever at a nail salon and Ive been to many places. I could go into all the details on my terrible experience here but the major issue was basically being publicly shamed for not tipping. I had gone in for a manicure and a pedicure and near the end before I was finished they asked me to pay so I wouldnt ruin my nails (Ive been asked this before so that was fine) I gave them the amount asked in cash. But once they realized I wasnt going to hand over more they said something I didnt understand because I dont speak their language and all the technicians turned and just looked at me. I wasnt finished with my experience, I hadnt decided if I wanted to leave a tip or if I wanted too how much I should leave. After their little shaming, I started to think that even if I did leave a tip at that point they would still shame me for not tipping enough.

My girlfriend got her nails done from there she liked him but they could have did a little bit better but it was a nice relaxing place

I spent years making the circuit among places offering eyebrow and lip waxes, always to spend a ton of money and get my face completely burned and red for DAYS after. NK is something else - I took a gamble one day and advised the technician that my skin is really sensitive to the temperature of the wax. I have never had an issue here with my skin reacting with redness for more than a couple of hours after. I regret not coming here ten years ago! I dont have to make a wax appointment, and usually get service no more than 10 minutes wait.

I love this salon. Come during the week if you dont want to wait though! Its big & usually busy.They offer a complimentary beverage for service over $15 & the massage chairs that you sit in during a pedicure are my favorite. The decor is nice, I like staring off in to the clouds pained on the ceiling!The parking situation at Westwood village sucks overall but that is not the fault of the salon.

Ask for Mary, she does the best job out of any nail tech I’ve met at any salon!

WASTE OF MONEY, FAULTY NAILS, RUDE SERVICE!! Got my nails done here not even a week ago and the day after I got them I woke up to one missing. It came off right where they glue the acrylic to the nail. I was down south so I couldnt get back in right away. A couple days later a second one falls off, I woke up to it gone. I was finally in a position where I could get back in and I had no problem paying to have them fix most nail salons dont fix them unless you come in right away. When I walked in I told the lady about them breaking off and her response to me was thats your problem not ours wow! So she asks what I want done. I want my 2 nails fixed. Now, I had my nails done wonder woman themed for an event and couldnt remember the exact colors used. When she told me to pick out my colors I tried to show her my nails and told her Im not sure what colors they are kind of hoping that since she does nails for a living she would be able to help me find ones that match, instead she says well neither do I. Thats when I decided that as a paying customer who paid good money to have them done I didnt have to put up with such rude customer service! Dont go there its a waste of money!!!

A fabulous salon with skilled workers. In tye same family as your local salon but much much different. Its cleaner bigger nicer they offer more services at reasonable costs. Mary is phenomenal and I wish I could see her more. Cash is the preferred method of payment here so make sure to stop and get cash ;)

I always used to go to NK to get my nails done and they always did a good job. Recently though they have made mistakes or treated me poorly. They care more about making money and getting people in the door then they do with the quality of my nail. Yesterday I went in to give them a last chance and they messed up. My nail polish (which was a good brand) became dented and messed up with simple tasks like grocery shopping. By the time I got home 6/10 nails were messed up and looked awful. I payed $40 and it was a total waste of my time and money. Never going here again.

I go here because the woman who has done my nails for 7years moved to this shop. The owners are nice enough, but dont allow enough time for each appt for a thorough job to be done.... just wish they would slow down to allow for better quality services

Ive been going to NK since they opened. Always great customer service and my spa pedicures are top notch. They just opened a new, larger location a few doors down from their old one. Brand new everything! I feel even more pampered. Visit for yourself and youll see why!

While not luxurious, NK Nails is clean, consistent and does a great job. The employees are friendly, fun and good at what they do. My husband and I go every 2 weeks for for Mani/Pedis. He gets the super deluxe pedicure and I get the Dip/powder gel nails. There is complimentary beer, wine, soda and water 😊. Its always best to make an appointment. They are so busy youll have to wait otherwise.

Ive been here over 30 times literally and every time they have been sour and impolite.My experience today was less than comfortable.Today the nail tech who worked on me was overwhelming and aggressive in attitude and seemed FED UP. She was fuming and overwhelmed. I really dont mind no conversation but everY communication i recieved was abrupt. not nice.and i didnt need it. There was not one time i was treated with good customer service or in a friendly or calm manner.I am kind and calm and a pleasant customer.There are some very good workers here!!!!!but there are so many bad stressful times there that Ive experienced that after this last experience I now know i will never go back.Spend your money somewhere else. :)

My experiences at NK nails is horrible they are over priced and the nails aren’t even good quality my nails are always bumpy. I recently got my nails done there cause it was the last place open and they were VERY busy I waited 30 minutes and there we’re these 3 females 2 were getting there nails done 1 wasn’t the 2 had left cause she had finished she paid for her and the other girls toes so when they came back the girl was done she went to pay for her acrylics but they for 1 tried charging her for her toes and 2 said her acrylics were $50 when a full set is $25 and they sat there and argued. When the nail tech “Mary” said she would redo them the lady had replied she didn’t have time to get them redone cause she had already been there for 2 hours! Mary responded with “if you don’t pay I will chop the nails off” but not once did the lady say she wasn’t gonna pay the $25 the correct amount of a full set! Mary then got security but by the time security got there the lady was already paying the $25. I believe there was racial profiling cause the 3 women were African American but it shouldn’t matter I believe NK nails is over priced and racist! Not to mention my acrylic nail fell off the next day with my real nail!

Literally my go-to nail place now. Vi took care of me and did an amazing job on my acrylics after I showed her a photo of what I wanted! Not only are their prices nice, but their technicians are friendly as well! My bf came with me since we were going to a movie afterwards and they insisted on bringing over a chair so that he could sit next to me. Very nice of them! They have punch cards if you pay in cash and also offer a complimentary drink with a 15$ purchase or more. A great deal!

I left with some nails crooked, uneven, and different lengths and sizes. I would not recommend.

I went in to get my nails done for an event that I was attending and the lady that did my nails did them so fast. They are crooked and bulky. She painted my nails so fast that it doesn’t even look nice. She rushed and you can tell by my nails. If you want your nails to look nice then I suggest getting them done somewhere else. Besides that the prices were fairly nice.

Good work but they dont have colored acrylic.
