They were very busy and I didn’t have an appointment so I expected a bit of a wait, but was pleasantly surprised with quick service and excellent quality. I had shellac removed (really appreciate they soaked it instead of sanding it off) and new coat put on. Looks fantastic!

My go to nail place in Seattle 😀 Manicures and pedicures are the best on the hill. They “schedule” appointments but squeeze appointments in so you might need a little extra time. They’re awesome though!

They were very unorganized. They had 3 different people working on my nails. My nail broke in a matter of hours and this set was for my wedding. (Now I’m in a whole different state unable to go back for them to fix their mistake) I let them know that these were for my wedding and they charged me so much just because of it. I spent $140 on every thing and I gave them a $40 tip for nails that didn’t even last 2 hours.

My co worker and I went down on our lunch and we did the $30 dollar shellac manicure. First of all, it was quick, they were sweet and professional. They give you a hand and back massage both about 1.5 minutes each and then you are on your way. I live in the area so I will definitely go back again.

They have the most unique shellac here. I got mood polish that changed colors: it was white when warm and blue when cold. They had a few other cool options I havent found anywhere else. You get an awesome back massage too. Knocking one star off because somehow my cuticles are tore up on every visit despite the nicest staff in town.

I have done my nails here for over a year! People who work there are really professional and nice. They have so many options for the gel colors too! Unfortunately I am moving out from Seattle soon, and this nail salon is definitely gonna be one of my favorite places I am gonna miss!

I went here because I didn’t have time to go to my regular spot. The second I left I realized that the nails were crooked and not the same length. On my way home (1 block away) I also noticed that the top layer started peeling off.A week later none of my nails had the top layer on them, which caused two of them to break and ruin my own nails.Even worse, they charged me $105 for nails that lasted less than a week.

I wasn’t initially going to post anything but it’s now two days after my appointment and I’m still bothered by my experience. I went here because my normal place was closed. I made an appointment and then was ditched for nearly 35 minutes. I almost wanted to remove the wraps on my fingers and just leave but I didn’t want to be that guy. My nails were fine. Bumpy from the dip and some dip was on my skin because it was rushed, but the nails looked fine. My big issue was that after my card was swiped for an already higher priced dip manicure, my technician told me she was going to add on an additional $5 because my nails were long. They’re just my regular nails and I can’t believe someone would play me like that. I’m not going back.

Was visiting Seattle and was able to get in short notice. Clean, staff friendly, may have to wait a few minutes but they work fast and efficiently. Great service and pricing would definitely return next time Im in Seattle! A bit hard to find if using GPS its on Pike Street on the same side as At&t. Theres free parking in Harvard market if you can find it.

They always treat me well, and if I show up without a crowd waiting Im out ASAP. Though I rarely do color, when I do it lasts well. I feel lucky to have them only a block away from home. FYI, I normally only get a basic manipedi with no color.

I used to really like this place. They did a great job, priced fairly, and were friendly. The last three times have been really bad. I wont be coming back. Ive noticed that they will tell everyone that walks in that they can get them in right away. They will start you with your service but then leave you for awhile while they go juggle others. They put my feet in water and then didnt come back for another 30 minutes. I ended up just getting a polish change instead of a full pedicure. I wanted to get my dip powder removed and would have gotten a manicure with dip but they left me sitting there with foil for so long, I told them to just take it off. It took two hours to get a polish change and have SNS dip removed. Appointments mean nothing here. Expect to spend hours here, have several people rush the job on you and they rotate from person to person. There are better places in the area. Id go elsewhere.

I’ve always had an amazing experience here. The service is very fast and the pedicures are always thorough. The ladies are wonderful and I go here about two or three times a month so I know the service is consistently great.

I’ve been salon hopping for a while since I moved here but when I found this place it became my go to salon. Every woman here is sweet as can be, patient and lovely at their job. I refuse to get my acrylics done anywhere else. Oh and a plus, the main lady who spent acrylics is a wonderful Pisces and I love that. 10/10 love em

Love this place . The hairdresser is a total pro and very careful to listen to exactly what I want. She has been doing my cut and color for 5 years, and I totally trust her.

I called up the place and checked for an appointment for waxing appointments. They told me it was available and scheduled me for the mentioned time. However, when I reached the place I realised that they were busy with other clients and I had to wait until they were finished. After that once I was set for waxing I realized they use the satin strips instead of waxing strips. The lady assigned to me said it was good enough however, it wasnt. My whole skin had turned red and when I asked her to do it more carefully as my skin was almost red and burnt from the hot wax and harsh pulling she still kept going at the same pace. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone for waxing.

Asked for manicure and pedicure.. the girl who cut my cuticles was a pro! Best ever! Everything else sucked, they didnt even buff my nails to make them shiny I think they were trying to get to the next customer as fast as possible..

This place is absolutely amazing. When I went in for a fill my nail were completely trashed and the tech took wonderful care of me and totally fixed my nails and left them gorgeous. They wont up charge you for random little things without telling you like some other salons. If it says $20 on the price board, youll be charged $20. Overall Im extremely impressed and this will be my go-to spot from now on.

By far the cleanest nail salon I have ever been to. I called on a Sunday and was able to get right in. Pedicure and Shellac Nails that turned out beautiful. Thank you Vivian and Mai for taking such good care of me! The neck and shoulder massage at the end was a great treat! If I get back that way I would love to visit again.

I came here with a friend this week after having a good experience here last year. However my recent visit here was hands down the worst salon experience I have ever had. There are a few reviews here that mention racism and I have to agree.My friend called ahead to make us appointments. It was a weekday evening so the place was very understandably busy. They didnt honor my appointment whatsoever, and by the time I finally left I had waited over an hour and a half.As I waited, I watched them help multiple women (of perhaps a different appearance than my friend and I) who were walk ins and had come 15-30 minutes after me. I tried to be patient but after an hour I texted a friend to delay our dinner plans but decided, with their suggestion, to just get our nails done another time. My friend and I were very polite in saying we were headed out and were hoping to finish getting my Friends polish off as they had already started.The technician, completely red and angry, proceeded to slowly and angrily work on my friends polish. She was clearly angry we were leaving and they were losing sales, but took it out on my friend. She made snarky comments about how my friends previous nails were poorly done and that her nails were so weak. She then went on a rant about how I should just leave and come back tomorrow but my friend should finish getting her nails done without me. People in the salon, including her coworkers, were clearly uncomfortable and trying to avoid eye contact. She ended up charging my friend a full $10 for polish removal even though she did a horrible job that left my friend with crooked flaking nails.Oh and at one point, when I was still contemplating leaving, this same technician came up to me and ran her hand up and down my thigh and said just wait a few more minutes okay! Completely inappropriate.Basically, my friend and I came for our prescheduled appointments which were not honored, and I waited over an hour and half of watching them help several women of a lighter skinned ethnicity who came in after us as walk ins. They then were rude, angry, and snapped at us when we decided to leave. Save your hard earned cash and support a business with better customer service and less racial discrimination.

Okay so Im really bummed to have to write this review and give a one star rating for a few reasons.1 - I got a mani pedi here on my first trip to Seattle when I was deciding to move here or not and was SO HAPPY with my experience. This was in June 2016.2 - Once I did move here, I went there regularly and was consistently very happy with my experience, both the quality of the work + customer service. I regularly referred my friends and family there, singing their praises.3 - I felt their pricing was on point (on the higher side, but lets face it were in Seattle) and it was reasonable enough to justify the great experiences I had there.Now for the unfortunate news...Im really sad to say that things have changed at LA Nails. I went back about 8 months ago and left feeling tricked and with a multitude of bad feelings.They neglected to communicate theyd risen prices across the board significantly ($8-10/service) all their posted prices did not show that, neither was I told of the change until the end when I was given my bill. I chalked this up to a one-time bad experience, and although unhappy, I was willing to consider going back some time in the future.I finally decided to give them another try yesterday. Let me tell you, I wouldnt be spending time writing this review if the experience wasnt as horrible as it was. WOW it was just so messed up. I have to say my pedicurist was a sweetie and she did a great job, was nice and kind and I have nothing bad to say about her - HOWEVER I was lied to about the price by the woman who runs the shop. I asked how much it would cost for a gel pedi and she said $35, which I felt alright about. She charged me $43 and told me I had asked how much a different service was (which was not true).If that was the only issue, I would have been slightly miffed but could have let it go. But heres the real banger.I got a SLS dip manicure for the first time ever. The woman who did it was the most unpleasant, mean, and to be completely frank treated me in the most offensive way Ive ever experienced. Here I am paying $45 +tip to get my nails done and she was straight up mean to me. I went out of my way to be friendly and nice to here, asking her questions about herself + kids, and she was just nasty to me! This is a woman who has done my toes and nails numerous times before and I have always tipped them over 20% and been sweet and kind to all of them. I was blown away by how horribly she acted and felt honestly hurt by the way I was treated for a service that all together cost over $100.LA Nails, I hope you read this and take the feedback and use it constructively. I can say that after being a loyal customer for over 3 years, I will NEVER ever give you business again.

Weve been customers for at least 7 years and have ALWAYS been satisfied with all aspects of our visits.Lately though, our pedicures have not lasted more than 10 days or so. Usually, even after 4-5 weeks our feet look great.Not sure if the polish is outdated or what...but we did notice that its taking less time to actually file and buff the toenails.We take great care if our feet and get pedicures for the pampering.Gonna speak to management and give it another try, as they have always done a satisfactory job.

Women in here were extremely nice! They completely SAVED ME!! Went to a different nail place called Ocean Nails and Spa did a terrible job, literally left the acrylic still on one of my nails and at 7 she said we closed and stopped in the middle! Awhh! So I called La Nails and they made my whole week! My nails were beautiful, careful, and respectful fixed. Women told me dont worry you are safe here. Thank you a 1000 times. Now, I finally found a quality nail shop downtown to get my nails done. Thank you again, for speed and care of my nails!

I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews but LA Nails was the closest nail salon to my air BnB. I got there at the perfect time, only waited about 5 minutes and got my pedicure started. I got a basic mani pedi, but their attention to detail was amazing! Shortly after another lady started my manicure while I was getting my pedicure. It was one of the best nail salon experiences Ive had! And very convenient to have both done at the same time!

Average to below average nail experience. Got a Gel manicure. 3 days later the gel on my thumb literally popped off. They are never staffed appropriately and quote incorrect times so you dont walk out. I was told 5 min for a manicure and 30 min later finally got sat. There are limited places in Capitol Hill for a manicure but I do NOT recommend this place. I never leave poor reviews but overall not impressed.

So far, this is the best manicure Ive had in Seattle. the staff here have been very nice and helpful each time Ive gone, and they were welcoming for a set of manicures and pedicures about 1 hour before close.

Very rude stuff! No costumer proper service. I got my sides waxed she left had me leave with hair lines and when i asked to correct it/even it out she said i had to pay extra. She did not clean my face before waxing!!!!!!!! Horriiiiiibbbbblllllleeeeeeeeee i wish i could just sue them!!!!

The folks working here were kind enough but they spent too much time chatting and laughing with each other. I’m not so insecure as to worry about what they were taking about, however, in my experience if one is engaged in conversation it’s difficult to focus on the work at hand. I wasn’t asked how I wanted my nails buffed and when I did ask it seemed I was maybe misunderstood. My nails don’t look much better after than before but my pocket is down $60.Advice: spend less time chatting with each other and more time engaging with the customers. I personally don’t mind your conversing with colleagues, work should be fun. But be respectful to others who don’t speak your language it could be uncomfortable for some to be part of a conversation they don’t understand, especially when it detracts from the quality of work being done.

I called in for a fill was told it would be 25 ended up paying 50!!! Way tooooo overpriced for just a fill and considering she was done in 40 min . Should fool your customers like that . Not to mention I didn’t get what I wanted . I picked two colors she only used one ?!?!when I asked her why she isn’t using both as I explained she was getting mad and angry . Didn’t feel comfortable .I gave a second star cause she did like the shape and she was fast but charging me double was not ok

I was told a fill would be $25 and at the end was charged $50. Definitely felt cheated & stated this was not what I was told.. they took off $5. I would not go here again and wouldnt suggest it to my friends. Basically a super rushed job & now when I look at my nails I just think of this awful experience.

I liked that they give you different pedicures to choose from. I went with the most expensive one because it listed that it comes with a hot pumice stone foot massage. They gave me a paraffin wax (which was great but that was for the less expensive pedicure) and never gave me the hot pumice stone foot massage. When it came time to pay they charged me for the most expensive pedicure. When I pointed out that I didnt get the pumice stone massage, they said they dont do that and they said I got the paraffin wax. I pointed out that the paraffin wax was included in the cheaper pedicure and that the most expensive pedicure came with the stone massage. They kept telling me that it didnt and they were looking over the description and kept saying where do you see that? All four ladies working there gathered around me while I showed them exactly where it listed that in the description. Their reaction was, Oh my God. No we dont do that. Oh my God. So sorry. I was like no one has ever pointed that out to you? Im not sure how they could not know what is included in their services. Its listed at every single station. And in the end they refused to charge me for anything less than the most expensive pedicure. I wont be going back.

Just had my first mani/pedi here and thoroughly enjoyed my experience! They were kind, fast and talented!

Waited 10 minuets with my feet in cold water before I had someone work on me. And that is only after I said something. Then she was really fast with the work. And had the nerve to ask for a tip. I was a server for 5 years and I always tip even if you don’t deserve one. But I’m sorry no. And a white lady car in after me asked for a pedicure and got worked on at least 5 minuets before me. So there is definitely some other issues here other than bad service. Won’t be coming back again.

Went in for a non-acrylic hard gel removal which requires being filed down and doesnt react to acetone and ended up having to fight the lady to keep her from trying to rip them off and she wasted 20 minutes trying to soak them. Kept telling me to trust her as she attempted to pop one off when I could feel it ripping my nail. Used a rough grit dremel and didnt work up to a finer grit as sure got closer to my natural nail and left the tips so torn up and uneven I immediately bought a file and clippers from the Bartels upstairs to even them out. Its the worst nail experience Ive had to date and wont be going back, which sucks since I live fairly close. The only get two stars because at least I left with nails and I didnt bleed. They might work for other stuff but at least this tech had no idea what she was doing around non-acrylic hard gel

Plce was clean, every chair had a customer in and everybody seemed satisfied, i do recommend calling and scheduling an appointment apposed to just walking in.. i called in and made an appointment for a full set of nails and a pedi, altho they had me scheduled for a mani & pedi so i was only able to get my pedi and was asked to come back on the following monday for a fuul set of nails.. needless to say i never made it back

What a wonderful service! Quick, professional, to the point. My nails were done in one hour - flat. The shop offers a one hour free parking validation and sticks to its word, valuing a customers time and money.There was no cacophony of a TV and a music. That is right: I do not go to a nail salon and spa to listen to two different types of music at the same time. La Nails is well aware of that, and plays only soft calming music.As far as my nails are concerned, they were fine for about four weeks with the gel mani I selected. In Las Vegas, NV a gel mani lasts solid six weeks, but thats Vegas, baby!La Nails has a professional staff, soothing and caring. Their outfits are also up to par, as is their approach to every client, be it a man, woman or a transgender client.We love La Nails!

I used to come herel all the time. Today I came and had to wait for about 30 minuets with my feet in cold water. The girl who did my pedicure was so untrained. I kept telling her “it’s ok you can dig harder in my toes it doesn’t hurt me” but her hands were so untrained it felt so uncomfortable. My toes are still not clean, i had to clean it more at home myself. What a waste of $30. Also I felt very discriminated because many white women came after me and they all got served faster.
