Kim is a good barber! She offers basic haircuts like the name implies but she does them very well. Very friendly and sweet. Prices are very reasonable and service is exceptionally fast. Be advised, no credit, only cash, and Venmo. You also have to knock on the door and she will let you in.

Upon coming here, Kim carries an incredibly sweet personality and carries out great conversations until the end of our visit. She is attentive to detail and takes her time making sure you love the cut and also hears you out for what you’re looking for. It was a pleasant experience and I’m glad we came across her business! Would highly recommend

Kim did such a wonderful job. I am very happy with the way it turned out. She was able to fade and cut exactly as I requested. Price is very reasonable and location was easy to find. Knock on the front door and Kim will open. Kim is so nice and personable, very easy to have a nice conversation during the cut. My go to stylist while in Seattle!!

Nice person, good conversation (for me that is very crucial for a good barber) but just ok in hair cut. Price is reasonable but you pay for what you get. 0 waiting on a Sunday morning.

This hidden hair cut salon is on the 2nd floor, above the psychic fortune teller shop.The door is usually closed so youll have to knock on the door. Madam Kim will come down and open the door for you.Mens haircut start at $15Kim does a quality job giving professional haircuts.I keep on coming back because shes super friendly and she cuts my hair how I imagine it to look.Ask her for her opinion and shell give you her honest opinion on what hairstyle makes you most handsome :D

Today was the first time Ive ever gone to this shop and I have to say I absolutely love it. Super friendly, open all week and, I got the haircut I wanted at a reasonable price. The one downside is CASH only. Still a great place and will come back again.

Went here for the first time today. The other reviews are correct. Kim takes her time and pays attention to details. The price is right.

Came here in March and Kim was super friendly and inviting. I told her things to watch out for like my short hairline in the back and my protruding occipital bone. She told me it was great to know and cut it accordingly. She was friendly throughout the haircut and even made some alterations after I said I like my hair parted a certain way. She was accommodating and super patient. Would totally come back again!

The certain kind of shop that no review can truly do justice.The cut was fantastic. Flashed a single pic and within 15 minutes left with a layered cut, full of good conversation, and wishing only that I hadnt put a full hour in the meter.Noteworthy that the shop quarterdecks a psychics parlor, and that entry is only granted by a knock at the fortune tellers door. The place is brightly lit and beautiful on a sunny day, and with the mystic stuff downstairs makes one feel like the ancient world is within their grasp.Dont waste your money or your time (or your hair!) at Rudys or any number of the bougie boutique whatevers in Capitol Hill or downtown or wherever. Kim will fix you up with a cheaper and quicker and better cut in a way cooler location.

The shop has a simple setup. The lady cuts the hair very nicely and is friendly to talk to. The haircut was $14 and she totally deserved a handsome tip!! Overall very good experience. Would definitely go again and recommend others as well.

I have been getting a haircut here for close to 20 years.....she knows how to cut my hair in the way I like it and I can trust the cut to always be right. You have to knock on the door downstairs but dont let that deter you. The price is good too.

I love this place for its basic buzzer based haircuts. Ive been coming here for years. Its a loft sharing a space with a psychic on the ground floor (no kidding). Go up the stairs for your cut. You often have to knock to get in because the front door is locked, the psychic isnt in, and the lady upstairs will only hear you if you knock.

Excellent place! Best cheap hair cut in town. Been going here for years. Mens cuts are currently $12, kids are $8 (+tip). Definitely recommend. A little hard to find you have to go into the lower store (which is a fortune teller / tea shop?) and then upstairs youll find the barber Kim. If the door is locked knock and Kim will let you in.
