Modern Nails is fantastic! The salon is very clean and the staff are all great. Shelia is a master at dip nails and I’ve been seeing her for 2 years! They last for weeks! Plus there is a great selection of colors. Highly recommend this salon! They are very accommodating, but I recommend calling ahead to make sure they can fit you in.

I usually go to a nail salon down the road from here but they were booked solid so I thought Id give this one a try. I just needed a fill with gel polish ($40). First I usually dont use opi on acrylic because it often chips right off. I picked 3 different colors from other brands and they didnt have any of them so I ended up using OPI because they said I could come back if they chip off. Sure enough the very next day they were chipped off. Then all of my nails were lifting only where they were filled and one fully broke off. I went it to give them an opportunity to make it right and they turned me away hence the review. Obviously I will not be returning.

Tiffany and Queen are the best at dipping powder manicures. And I havent had a bad pedi experience here either. wWuld recommend.

Gel manicure, pedicure, waxing, tinting. This salon is modern and clean. The staff was very friendly. The waxing and tinting was great. The pedicure good, but the gel manicure could have been better. I have had ALOT of gel manicures and this was not the best. Today I was missing Market Shop Nails in Destin 10+ years. But I will return to this salon. I am loyal.

Worst nails I have EVER had!! I went here today and spent 1 hour & 45 minutes to leave with the worst nails ever. I tried this place before but decided to try them again.....now I am leaving for California and I have these HORRIBLE nails. I complained and they said to give me a $10 discount—after it cost me $115 to have a mani pedi?? Give me a great this is a horrible salon and they do not know how to do nails!!!

I am very pleased with all the services I have received. I am a regular customer for over 6 months. My nails are done impeccably. I have acrylics and they are beautiful, with gel polish.

I have come this place 2 times now, and I absolutely love it!! Hands down the best place I have been that knows how to deal with ingrown toenails with a painless experience!! Tiffany did my pedicure this second time around and she was amazing!! Everyone is very nice, and super clean place!! I definitely will be a repeat customer!!!

Got nails done once and loved it went back and had a terrible experience I told the guy my nails were too thin compared to the first time that they werent going to last and he insisted they were fine my thumb nail broke a week later and a nail would break every couple days after I came back to get them fixed and they refused to and said they didnt have time even tho I came 5 hours before they closed the owner was very rude also asked if my friend was pregnant when she obviously isnt Im very disappointed because Im not one to complain and I tipped the guy way more than he deserved after this will never come back or recommend very hateful owner

I dropped off my car across the street at the dealer and noticed the nail salon. I told myself new salon? In Scottsdale? Must be a nice place... I have to say Im not impressed at all. I expected a more higher end salon for that area with a little more taste in decor. The name of the salon really threw me off & expected a more modern brand new location. The chairs in the pedicure area doesnt really look new and even the bathroom looks blah... with no taste & style. Doesnt look like a brand new location at all. I wanted a manicure and pedicure done. A male started to do my pedicure and I wasnt impressed at all. Im a mom of 2 under 3yrs and I barely have any htime for myself and I like to go get treated every once in a while and get pampered. I sure didnt feel that. I like to use plain natural nail polish for both hands and toes. They didnt have the 1 I normally use in other places. Prices are pretty high and I received a decent treatment like anywhere else. I ended up getting a pedicure only. I didnt care the way he was painting my toes. I had to tell him to paint the whole nail, even on the sides of my big toes. He did end up adding more polish and made my nail look ugly. No passion for what he was doing. Not planning to go back.

I’ve been here a few times and this time I got my nails done by Tracy. She did an amazing job on my SNS manicure, which lead me to leaving this review. She took her time and I could tell she was paying attention to every detail. I told her what look I was going for and I picked out this one color. She applied one coat and recommended me going with a different color based off of what I was going for. So happy she recommended it because it turned out to be exactly what I wanted. The color I chose was way too sheer and she knew it! I got the coffin shape and she was consistent with each finger. Sometimes what you get is what you pay for... and my manicure was worth every penny.FYI - when I first found this salon on google, I ingnored those negative reviews and gave it a shot. I base my experience mainly off of my nail outcome and the technicians service. (Not off of the bathroom decor).

I just came from this salon - the prices are high but I have always gotten a good pedicure and manicure. Not this time - it was hurried and the least amount of lotion was used. So disappointed. The person who did them acted like he was very disinterested and just wanted to get it over with. I probably won’t go back. I went there because I was stressed and I wanted to relax - pedicure and manicure together took 35 minutes!

The people here are amazing they treat you like family! And I definitely enjoyed the pedicure I got!

Very rude owner tami not only to myself but also to a client of hers. her client had a tube in her throat for breathing I mentioned I quit smoking recently and her response was better keep at it or your going to end up like her and laughed her clients response was I never smoked she then giggled and said just kidding but I felt bad. not to mention my nails were over priced and decent

My best friend suggested we should try this place... We went in for a pedi and I was extremely disappointed with the overall service,especially costumer wise. the lady in the front was very rude & when we left my friend told me that the owner tami asked if I was pregnant when I went to the bathroom and while was paying. Being this location is in Scottsdale I expected more overall.....

I highly recommend Tracy, I’m very picky with my nails and I love how detailed Tracy is when it comes to how the shape and thickness of the sns dipping powder. The last ombré set of nails tracy did literally lasted for 5 weeks. There was not even a single lifting of any Nails even from my job that requires a lot of chemicals and hand washing. The prices are reasonable for that area, prices were discussed before the service was done so I won’t be surprised when it’s time to pay. I believe that communication with your nail tech is important so don’t be afraid to ask anything. The salon is under new ownership too, it truly is a friendly sanitized and cheerful environment from the start to end of your service!!!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED. could have done a better job by myself at home left with cuts on multiple fingers and nails looked like pistachios and were super uneven. very rude lady made me feel uncomfortable and judged kept making rude comments.. i was trying to keep friendly conversation but she obviously wasnt interested will NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I am leaving for NZ today and went to get a SNS Powder mani here before my flight. I selected a really fun bright, orange/salmon color. They brought out this HORRIBLE dark, purple / maroon powder and I said “that’s not the color”. To which TWO of the people working their replied “oh, yes it is. It changes color when it dries.”I said “I get my nails done every two weeks with a powder dip - I’ve never seen that!”They insisted.3 nails in I said “ok — so at some point, this maroon color turns bright orange??”He said “yes, you’ll see, just wait!”Long story short, I walked out with HIDEOUS dark maroon nails which I now have to fix in the Houston airport during my layover on my way to NZ.I should have insisted they bring out another color - but I didn’t think they would PURPOSELY ruin my nails! Lesson learned - I will never, ever go here again.

I just do my nails in this place! Very clean organized and Tammy is the one who does this beautiful job in my hands! I love and recommend! I asked her to do Brazilian style, because I like very clean nails withoutCuticles and she always sticks! All the girls who do their nails are wonderful! The service is very good!
