Pro Nails by Julie is definitely the go to nail salon in Scottsdale. They always make time for you, even if you dont have an appointment. They are usually always busy so be patient but they do stick to their word and take you very quickly. Highly Recommended with GREAT PRICES. Its such a big salon with great customer service and music.

I go here all of the time because its nearby. Ive had really great experiences with Helen. She did my nails beautifully, shaped perfectly, and probably the best dip powder Ive ever had. Ive also had the opposite experience, where my nails were uneven, crooked, and some shorter than others. Pedicures always look great, no issues. It just depends on the technician you have. However, I will say, if you point out a flaw to them while they are working, they will try to fix it. So if you see an issue, call it out, use your voice, and youll be fine. As far as the salon goes, its very clean, beautiful, well-kept, and I will go back.

I’ve been going to Pro Nails by Julie for almost 3 years. I always see Tina who is amazing and Jeff is also great! Julie is so friendly to me and recognizes me by name. They’ve accommodated my bridal parties twice for both weddings and all my girls enjoyed their experience. My fave place by far!

Fabulous!!!I visited to purchase some gift cards for my staff at one of my stores. Julie is the sweetest. I drove from Chandler the next time I needed some pampering! The spa is just beautiful and so relaxing. I was so happy when I left.And the staff was so thankful for their treats.

Awful experience. I came to this salon today for a gel manicure. I wanted a special design. I saw pictures of this design online on the website and liked what I saw. When I called to make the appointment I specified I wanted that same design. The man on the phone stated it was no problem. I came in today and was assigned to someone who had no idea how to do designs. It was not his fault. I should’ve been put with someone who knew what they were doing, especially when I specified it via phone. I asked for someone else, and Julie said no. I asked what other designs I could get from my tech, she said NOTHING because he doesn’t do designs. I also showed the picture when I sat down and Julie said it was no problem. Then she stated I need to make an appointment with Ana if I wanted a design, but again, I clearly specified that via phone when I made the appointment 3 days in advance. I ended up leaving the salon after being there for 2 hours, with cuts on my fingers and a very poor design. Julie took my payment and offered nothing and did not apologize for the mistake or the experience. She did not say a word. Extremely poor service and Julie was extremely rude.

Stay away. I went in for a simple fill; as a new customer. “Men”, My nail tech, was in such a hurry, 8 out of my 10 fingers now has a cut near the cuticle. They are so thick at the bottom they are lifting like crazy. I’ve had acrylics for 20 years; worst experience yet. That’s what I get for “cheating” on my regular tech and trying to find somewhere near work. NEVER AGAIN!

It depends what technician you get. Sometimes they are great but there are lot of technicians that don’t know how to complete a dip manicure without ripping your skin off. I left with almost all my fingers bleeding and stinging and this isn’t the first time this has happened. I try different techs and when I find someone I like I either can’t make an appointment with them or they have left the company. It’s clear that their isn’t a consistent training. When you do get a good tech, there’s nothing to complain about. The salon is nice and clean and the ladies are always nice.

Always professional and friendly. This is my go to place to get my nails done, and they are always super accommodating to what I want to do. Julie runs a great place here!

Horrible experience. Stay away. Total rip off.My friend called weeks in advance to get heart nails. Once she got there, she was paired with someone who didn’t actually know how to actually do the nails and even though she asked multiple times to get the person who knows how the do it, the manager refused to provide her with the right person and still charged the full price without hesitation.The only reason we went was to get the specific design and they failed to care at all about their customers. They just took the money.Overall this was a really horrible experience- and I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone.

This is a decent salon but beware of who your tech is. There are a few that are good but some that are not! There also seems to always be some drama between the owner and the girls that work there which makes it awkward sometimes. My favorite girl who used to do my nails (Moon) is no longer there and I recently found Ana who is great compared to some of the other girls. I will be back to see her again and I loved how my nails turned out last time with her.

Loc did my nails and I got exactly what I asked for. he also chatted enough to make me feel welcome but not overwhelmed, which is important to an introvert like me. 5/5 will come back

First time here and I loved it! My husband and I did the paraffin pedicure and it was so nice. Everything was so clean and sanitary. She sloughed off SO much dead skin from our feet it was so gross but satisfying. Can’t wait to come back!

Ive been going here since I moved close by in Oct. The quality is top notch usually. It has a different feel then a normal nail salon has and everyone is friendly. They seem in a hurry most of the time even with not a lot of people why I put 4stars. The price is a notch over average. Even with that I would reccomend to try them out.

Not only is this place really clean and beautiful, but Taylor does the best nails. I got an SNS and she was nice, helpful, and just did a fantastic job. She also does my mother’s nails which is where I got the recommendation. Great place :)

I just got my nails done by Taylor there. She did an amazing job. I have never had a better french tip gel manicure (pictured are my real nails with a painted french tip!). She also was very friendly and easy to talk to. The owner came over and asked how I was doing which made the experience even more special. I really enjoyed my experience here and will be returning.

I had to go somewhere else to get my acrylics done properly. I tried to come back to this place after my nails wouldn’t dry, they told me it takes 4 hours. Yes 4 hours!!! Like what??!

I had a great experience here! I called to make an appointment the week of the 24th and they were right on time waiting for me to be seated. The service I received was A+ from start to finish. My nails were shaped well, the massage was fantastic, and the width of the French tip was perfect. I could not be happier with my pedicure and will definitely be a regular here. Love this place! This used to be my regular salon until I moved away a couple years ago and I just happened to be in the area today, so I decided to stop. What a great surprise to see they moved into a much larger and nicer space next door. Same great service and such good work.

Went for my birthday and it was very disappointing. Asked for a very simple black coffin nail with my moons clear. Menu said 45$ fine a lil extra I wasnt worried. First thing. Didnt do any step to prep my nails at all but file the tops. Second wanted to talk to her co-workers more thank do my nails. Which would have been been fine if, she didnt botch them and drill the side of my nail away cause she kept looking away. When I tried to politely ask her to fix it, she blame my fingers for being crooked. Fine whatever I tried to be nice and deal. She was nice,but impatient as well. I just still dont understand how it was $75!?!?! II tipped because its a service,but I regret it and now Im stuck in them still😩

My mother & I went here to get our nails done & we had an up&down experience. My nail tech was super nice but Hers was not. So I feel it depends on who you get, that ensures friendly service or not. They were both confused on pricing and I ended paying more than what I was originally told. But my mom loved her gel manicure & I liked my acrylic until it came time for them to come off. I realized my tech filed my thumb nail all the way to the skin & without saying anything, she just went a head and put the acrylic all over so it would hang on to the nail parts still left. Hoping this was by accident but it hurts now. My mom does still like hers. And gel is better for you! Their massage chairs are super nice. Wish they scrubbed our feet better during the pedicures. But again, just an up&down experience.

Horrible. Theyll tell you they have appointment openings, book you an appointment, then when you get there there is zero communication. Theyll sit you in a chair and leave you for 20+ minutes without telling you what is going on or who will be helping you. Very unprofessional. I sat in a chair with my feet soaking for 20 minutes past my appointment and my feet were pruny, then got up and left. The only communication I got was a Sorry while I was one foot out the door. Never coming back. Dont trust any appointment that you make.

This nail salon is clean and has a lot of pedi station chairs. I’ve never had to wait. They are really nice and welcoming. I’ve had a great pedicure and a so so pedicure. Try them out! They’re much better than the last place I went to.

THIS PLACE IS LIKE A VACATION FOR YOUR HANDS AND FEET. I tried Pro Nails by Julie about a year ago, and was hesitant due to previous experiences with other nail salons. From the minute I stepped foot in the door, I was beyond pleased with the service and the treatment I received. I went in for a pedicure just to treat myself and I have been doing so regularly ever since. I am a total convert. I went again today and had to finally write a review.Recently, Julie opened her new and expanded salon and just when I thought I couldnt enjoy this place more, the new salon is even more relaxing and peaceful (and beautiful), plus Julie always has plants and flowers everywhere. Not only that, but I dont ever go in there feeling like I am choking on fumes. The overall experience is so pleasant. I usually get either the Deluxe or the Paraffin pedicures because I have issues with my heels and each time I leave with my feet feeling and looking AMAZING. I frequently request the same person, but over the past year I have had a number of different ladies work on me and they have all been good. Maya and Minh are always delightful and very helpful, and its so great that you can just sit back in a massage chair and relax knowing that someone is going to make you feel WONDERFUL. Highly, highly recommend!

Disrespectful. Argumentative. Expensive for poor quality. Doesnt not listen to the customers needs, ignores and argues. Told my friend to calm down when the technician was the one yelling. Culturally inappropriate. Said Youre friend smokes?!! What does she drink beer, too?! Immature. Will never return.

Unfortunately my fist experience with this salon was not great! However once Julie was aware how unhappy I was she returned my money and has encouraged me to come back to get them completely redone on her. She has excellent customer service and values her customers!

My favorite place for a pedicure! Gorgeous and spacious inside, without the fumes. All the ladies are so nice and the color selection is fantastic. My last trip here totally decalloused my heels and they were soft as a babys bottom. I love it. It gets busy here, so if you dont want to feel rushed at all, come on one of their slower times or days.

Not only is their work impeccable and precise, but we have never encounted a more sanitary environment, more personable staff, and such comparable prices. The quality of their work is unmatched, and they genuinely seem happy and interested in each customer. We make the drive out from Fountain Hills each time because they are completely worth it! :)

Im just going to try to keep this as short as possible...I went to this place and apparently Kim did my nails. She was extremely rough and it was obvious she was in a hurry. She cut 3 of my fingers. 2 healed right away but my thumb got infected and didn’t heal for about a week and a half.Despite being overcharged and sore in my fingers from how rough she was, I still tipped her. I did this because I am in the beauty industry and I would never try to cheat someone from their work and talent however, after a couple hours my fingers were in so much pain I was the one who felt cheated.I was charged 65 dollars for the most simple nail job. I have always gotten my nails done the same way for no more than 45 (not including tip). Had she done a good job I would have let her overcharge me with no problem but that was not the case.The reason I know she was in a hurry is because she showed it In her work, and she didn’t even thank me for tipping her. She took the money and left the salon right after. I was obviously her last client for the day and she gave me the worst nail experience of my life.I wasn’t going to write a review but once my finger got infected I just felt the need to.Do not let a nail technician at this location touch your hands if they seem to be in a hurry. Trust me the infection and pain is not worth it.

This was my second visit & Nie was my mail tech. She did an A M A Z I N G job! I shall be back to see her again. Great service, very comfy and spacious.

Edit: I gave them another chance, and it was not good. I had limited time and called to ask if they could fit me in. They said it was no problem. When I got there, everyone was busy. The owner left me sitting with my fingers in a sandwich bag filled with acetone for over 25 minutes, so my skin turned grey. No one even acknowledged my existence beyond that. I eventually flagged her down and told her I had to leave. She did a botch job removing my existing dip manicure. She basically got the color off and left it lumpy. I was on my way to work. :( While waiting, I heard her tell no less than five other people that they could see them immediately, even though there were clearly no techs available.Service was okay. Technician was not friendly and spent almost the entirety of thd time complaining to the tech next to her and resisted all attempts at conversation. This was not a fun, relaxing, or even an enjoyable experience. Ive been here in the past (before they expanded) and had a pleasant experience. Id think this was maybe an off-day for this particular tech, but my daughter was with me (it was supposed to be a special day), and her tech wasnt much better. There was also a woman getting a pedicure at the same time who called them out for unsanitary conditions at the station (using old Emery boards, trying to use a grater on calluses, and something with the water and/or basin liner). I could forgive a lot of my experience if the tech had at least done a good job, but the results were only okay looking, and my gel nails began lifting way early. They also filed our nails after setting the polish and then didnt even rinse off our fingers, so underneath our nails was just packed with the fillings. Really gross feeling. Not sure Ill be back.

I give her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, but not the business. I brought my daughter here to get her nails done because It is a birthday gift to her and first time getting nails done. The nail tech gave her a complimentary design on one nail. Very sweet. Guy at desk charged me $65, even though I told him what the lady told me to tell him. He’s abruptly told me, “it’s $65”. I assumed it was right, but after having Talked to several people about what I had paid, yes, I paid way too much for gel nails, I’m feeling taken advantage of. I thought that was a little steep, not like she got a massage in a massage chair along with it. Also, Don’t ever get your eyebrows or lip waxed there. Lady was waxing my lip area and waxed my face too, I clearly only wanted lip and eyebrow wax. On top of it she burnt the hell out me. Told her twice wax was too hot! My eyebrows were a nightmare. She obviously didn’t know what she was doing they just made her do my eyebrows probably so they could take my money they didn’t care who did it, or whether or not she was qualified to. I didn’t want to wait so when I said it’s ok I’ll go somewhere else, they quickly grabbed some random tech to take care of my lip/eyebrow wax. I ended up with uneven overly waxed eyebrows and my lip and FACE being waxed. In all fairness this eyebrow situation happened a year ago. I mention it because I had avoided this place for a year now, but thought it wouldn’t hurt to give the nails a chance. Nails were great, but what they charge I feel is way above and beyond for gel acrylic nails. I will never go back again, never will I refer anyone to them, at least not without the advice on what you will be spending. I will especially not recommend getting any waxing done there. I guess maybe because of its location being in Scottsdale they can most certainly get away with marking it up so high. Thumbs 👎 on price and waxing, thumbs up 👍 on the gel nails and Nail techs. They should last 14 days we shall see, if not I will be sure to follow up with a review.

If you want it done quickly and you dont care about quality this is your place. I got gels done and they are thick and lumpy. The lady filed the edges of the gels rather than applying polish well. My cuticles look rough. My toenails are sore in a couple of spots due to incorrect trimming of edges. I wouldnt go here again. There are other, better, options for the price.

Horrible job on French full set, in less than 1 week they are already trying to fall off & huge air bubbles

I got rushed through a pedicure that was mediocre at best. No callous removal, no buffing, no scrub, and the massage which was advertised as 8 minutes, was A) not a massage but just slapping lotion on me and B) just 2 minutes (yes, I timed it). I basically left with new polish after spending more than $60.

Terrible service! The nail techs clearly don’t know how to use SNS powder. They complain when paying customers ask for their advise and expertise on how the color will look after it dries. They also rush through the service and care more about volume and making money than customer service. If the nail tech makes a mistake and it takes time to correct, they blame the customer and make comments such as “we don’t make money on you”.

Ive been here 4 times and had a different nail techs, since I dont make an appointment. Each time my nails were perfect and I was very happy with my SNS manicure and my pedicure. The prices are reasonable, especially for what youre getting. The salon is very nice and clean and everyone is friendly. I highly recommended them.

I don’t recommend this place at all I came with my boyfriend both of us we came to do manicure and I wanted to mani and pedi since I was 20 years I make my pedicure and I never have a problem till I came to this place horrible I have one of my nail curve and usually I ask them to file a little bit more an they keep changing girls on me I waited about 20 min until someone came to help me and when ask her pls file my nail she said I’m not goin to do that what kind a service is this this is for doing pedicure I was a shock then she call someone else to do my manicure and I had to wait till she gets done to the other client by that my boyfriend finish to do his pedicure and meanwhile nobody start to do even my manicure which was a regular mani and pedi horrible place he and up waiting for me 1hr he left home and came back to pick me up never again

My nail technician was fantastic! She was friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job. However, the woman running the shop was extremely rude. My nails didnt get to dry for more than 15-20 seconds before she told me to get out of the chair to pay. My friend and I were appalled at her rudeness and will not be going back because of the terrible management. Save your money and go somewhere where they allow you nails to actually dry.

I will never go back to this place on the phone they told me it would be $40 for SNS nails I get there and she says she is going to have to put a new set of nails on because they will melt off and it would actually be $50... I have Ben getting fake nails put on for 5 years and never had someone say that. After going back and forth with her she agrees to leave them on and then goes on to tell me it will be $5 extra to fix my one broken nail confused I asked her why so much because every other time I’ve gone it’s been $2-3 to fix one nail she said because I have long nails she will have to reshape them, fair enough and i tell her that’s fine. After she said that they would already be charging me $5 I said might as well put on a whole new set for an extra $5 and then all the sudden she changes the price from $50 to $60. I just told her to fix the nails and not worry about it. I walk out of there she cut my fingers up because she wasn’t looking when she filed my nails, my pinky(the finger with the broke nail) is way longer than my other nails and a completely different shape, and she got SNS all over the inside of my nails and didn’t even file it down.

This salon is a few steps from my work, hence why i go here because of convenience. My first time here was amazing because I get a certain design that only one nail tech is super good at which is Minh. He is amazing and very friendly. The next few times Ive tried to get my nails done solely by him he wasnt able to do them, therefore putting me to another nail tech that barely said 2 words for me and took almost 2 hours to do my nails. She did more of a wider nail that isnt my favorite but I can live with it. From now on I will only go here for Minh. I recommend anyone though for a pedicure as I love it and is still strong after 2 weeks.

The reason that I gave them 3 stars is because you cannot include the tip when you pay with card, I didnt like the smell of chemicals due to the artificial nails. However, my manicurist was nice and without rush.
