My mother had an appointment today and the office attempted to cancel her appointment 10 min before the schedule time, she was almost there when she got the call. Then in took over 2 hours for an unprofessional doctor to see her. Dr. Victoria Calvelage, not sure why she became a doctor if she is not going to have empathy towards her patients. She treated my mother extremely poorly and did not do anything for her. If not sure what to do, she should ask foe help. I hope she gets additional training on how to treat humans, we do not go to doctor because we feel great. We go to the doctor because we are sick and is job your job to figure out what is wrong and what can you do to make your patients feel better.
The doctor here took my husbands symptoms lightly and prescribed him gas pills... eventually we went to a different doctor - he has Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Thanks for the gas pills! I think your doctors need some more education and a sense of urgency because she completely wasted our time, which he apparently doesnt have much of.
Ive tried 3 days in a row to talk to DR PETERSON,( I know shes not a real DR. yet ), I need to find out my results of an MRI I had on 6/24, NO RESPOND. I once a had a perfect Dr @ that clinic, but now its a game to them that are there now, HOW SAD THAT THE MEDICAL FIELD HAS TURNED.Still waiting for a pain script ( July 16th), No Response.
Dont go here if youre in serious pain, they wont do anything for you... Doctor ignored and dismissed my back pain, so I went to another doctor turns out I had a herniated f-ing disc in my spine and needed surgery, worst doctors office ever
Doctors outstanding, lab outstanding, front desk staff terrible, slovenly, appear to just be looking at pictures on the phone all the time…very unprofessional.
Never seem to get anywhere with my visits. I liked they have in house lab but other tests are so hard to get scheduled. Had to be the one to make all the calls between doc and facility so everyone got what they needed...then Cigna refused to approve tests due to lack of info from doc. Not my job. Going to a new doc that seems to care more.
Tried to call 4 times in 4 days and was left on hold the entire time no one even picked up. Does anyone even work here? Like hello I need to book appointments do you want my money or not?
These people really take their time with patients calling with issues. Trying to set up as many appointments as possible to get as much unnecessary info repeated to them to suck up as much $$$ as possible before you get your same antibiotic prescription or tests done. A JOKE.
Complete joke of a practice! Went in with chronic back pain. Was written a prescription for over the counter medication I was already taking. I was referred to another clinic for an MRI that can’t see me for 2+ weeks. Any one who answers the phones in this place shouldn’t be allowed to serve customers as they do not care for anyone at all.If you value your health stay away from these hacks!
Its very difficult to get a hold on the office! When you go for your appointment some nurses gets on your nerves, very laid-back!!!!!Very unhelpful!!!
Was turned away from service due to their theatric policies of needing a mask on. They don’t care about health. Wouldn’t recommend coming here.
I had the pleasure to work with Zach Clay and I was very impressed and improved! He was open, honest, direct, empathetic, understanding, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend anyone that would benefit from his services to him.
I had a wonderful experience at his clinic today. I came in panicking due to sudden hearing loss. The staff at the front desk were incredibly compassionate, quick to understand that I was worried and needed immediate assistance. They were able to get me a doctor almost immediately who calmly assessed my situation, reassured me, and treated my issue. I walked out with my hearing intact and eager to share my positive experience. Thank you!
First time in this office. Came in today to be looked at for a rash that had appeared on my skin. The first doctor was touching it without gloves even after I said it hurt when the rash came in contact with anything. She said she thinks it looks like shingles but is “is not good at rashes” so had a second doctor come in. The second doctor looked at it and touched it without gloves, asked if I have been outside at all and when I replied yes, she said it was a reaction to poison ivy. I told them I don’t think that’s possible because I don’t come in to contact with plants or anything. I am just outside to go from my apartment to work or to other establishments but they said just take prednisone and see if it helps. No tests or labs done at all. I asked if it could be bacterial but that was just brushed off. I’m concerned that one doctor thought it could be shingles but that nothing was done further to see. Also, I kept trying to ask the front desk staff how much it costs just to do an office visit but they weren’t able to tell me the price which is interesting because every other facility is able to tell you the price of an office visit. Slightly worried about the bill I’m going to be receiving. There is no reason why they shouldn’t be able to disclose that information
READ TIL END. THIS IS IMPORTANT IF YOU HAVE ONGOING HEALTH ISSUES THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED.This is a great place to go to for a routine check up or if you are very apparently sick and need immediate attention; HOWEVER, this is a terrible place to go if you have ongoing, subtle issues that need to be addressed. I came here and told the doctor what was going on. Im a 28 year old woman that stopped getting her periods, had hot flashes, SEVERE migraines and moderate anxiety/depression. I specifically expressed that I wanted to get to the bottom of my health issues, not just take medication to deal with the symptoms. They asked me a bunch of questions - all pointing to something going wrong with my hormones which was obvious to me but apparently not obvious enough to them to do lab tests. They gave me a pregnancy test, it came out negative and that was that. They did prescribe something for me to take when I felt a migraine coming on but I wanted to know why I was getting them, not just put a bandaid on the issue.***I ended up going to another doctor a few weeks later and they tested my hormones right away. It turns out I have Hashimotos disease (I told NOAH that I have a family history of thyroid issues). It also turns out that at 28 years year old my ovaries are failing and Im heading into MENOPAUSE.These are both important things for me to know, obviously, and are crucial to figuring out how to get healthy again. All it took was some blood tests. Going here was, unfortunately, a great waste of my time and insurance.
I have been using the counseling service for grief counseling after the death of my husband. My counselor has helped me a great deal. They are wonderful.
I highly recommend that you make an appointment with Dr. Ashley DyerNever make an appointment with the doctors assistants Since they dont know anything about your clinical record. so if you make an appointment with someone I recommend this doctor is a wonderful doctor she finds you the right specialists for the problem you have of illness. In addition this place has very good facilities it is very clean and above all there is payment plan and discounts my experience with noah clinic. It is one of the best unfortunately today I attended the assistant of the doctor I did not like how he treated me. I left the clinic and asked for another appointment with my Dr. Asley Dyer is the Best Doctor♥️
Ive been coming here since May. Very easy to get appointments, doctors have been very helpful, compassionate and effective. Dr Chuang is wonderful and efficient. The only con, would be the very long hold times to get a representative on the phone line, but even that is just minor inconvenience.
This clinic is great. Very clean and very friendly staff. Overall a great experience and I will return next time I need something.
2nd updated review....I reviewed this medical practice about a month ago, giving it only one star, see below review. However, since then I was referred to a new Noah physician, Dr. Liang, he is amazingly patient and thorough with his evaluation. I trust his medical judgement and recommendations. I feel comfortable knowing that he values his responsibility as a physician and takes the time to discuss various options to maximize your health concerns. He is in my opinion, one of the best physicians Ive met in a very long time. The staff seem friendly enough when you arrive and the process is comfortable and quick. Kudos to the nurse and front desk lady with the beautiful braids. Trust me, smiles go a long way ladies, even under your mask I can tell youre smiling. Thank you for that and all of your help1st one star review....Very unprofessional.... I dont understand why design a patient portal for patients to communicate with staff physicians or members if they never read the messages. Below are several attempts I made to discuss prescribed medications that I was not familiar with and had questions about.Patient Customer Service Request Message List04/07/2020 10:11 AMCustomer Service: BillingNot yet read by staffSamar Mahmoud El-Sharkawy, PA03/31/2020 02:35 PMAppointment Request (HM)Not yet read by staffSamar Mahmoud El-Sharkawy, PA03/31/2020 02:34 PMAppointment Request (HM)Not yet read by staffPatient Customer Service Request Message List03/31/2020 02:13 PMWhy hasnt anyone gotten back to me?Not yet read by staffSamar Mahmoud El-Sharkawy, PA03/25/2020 05:17 PMPrescription QuestionNot yet read by staff
Dr. Crooks has been my primary care provider for several months and hes very diligent. I have many medical issues which makes me a needy patient, however Dr. Crooks and his staff have always treated me with great respect. If my PCP is not available Ill see Dr. Houston who is extremely kind and understanding. Ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes to seen by any of my doctors.
I generally like the place I realize this is a clinic with new Doctors so you get comfortable with one then their gone. I have been waiting 2 weeks for a follow on thing not done, because everytime I order my scripts it says waiting Dr approval. So while waiting I got sick swollen clams sore throat fever. The Dr yesterday only talked about my back ordered films gave me muscle relaxer. Never addressing my current sickness this morning my throat is raging still feverish chills fever looks like urgent care for me. Very unhappy
By far the worst medical office I’ve ever been to, my family and I have had terrible experiences here. The front desk team won’t answer the phone (or you’ll be on hold for hours), they do not even return phone calls. Doctors don’t seem to know what they’re doing and they won’t give you your own medical information!!Avoid this office!!!
Dr Burbach is my hero and other medical staffs are so professional and sincere too.
Decent medical service, good luck getting your medical records! They are able to take up to 30 days on these requests.
I have a great experience at this facility. The staff from the front desk to the medical assistants, lab technicians, and most important my doctor are great! my doctor makes me feel comfortable and always is concerned with my care and recommends all possible treatments without sounding pushy. I get to see one doctor for my whole family which gives me assurance to know that I will be treated as a person not a number. Thank you!
Poor environment. Checked in and sat there for another 50 minutes watching people who came in after me go in before me. Went to front desk and they said they were sorry and made an excuse when the fact is the person who checked me in didnt really check me in. After I was seen I was told someone would be back with my referrals and walk me out. I waited 45 minutes and had to go out and get someone. My referrals were sitting on the printer and MA who I was dealing with was just sitting there. As soon as I finish my next appointment that follows up some issues I will be going elsewhere. Terrible atmosphere and service.
Dr. Wagner has been such an amaizing doctor while i was pregnant and know with my babygirl.
The worst patient service. They don’t return phone calls. Don’t answer phone calls. No one wants to do there job during business hours. Then where your persistent they want to try. This is not patient care this is patient neglect. I switched my entire family over to this doctor and we will not remain patients. They let automotive systems and 3rd party appointment setters handle all the leg work possible to fit in more patients, paperwork whatever it may be. This is NOT patient care. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
No doctors and nurses Adams really needs another math class even the pharmacist and insurance was so tired of her not able to count they changed my doctors office. 1 tablet three times daily for ten days is not 12 after her doing it several times and putting me in the hospital over it good luck to her patients.
Impossible to reach anyone at this place. Humana has the same problem, does not return calls. They have screwed up my prescriptions 3 times in sequence.
Worst experience I have ever had with a therapist. The therapist I went to for help lied to me about his intentions. He repeated confidential information about me without my permission and he lied to a public official about my situation to get what he wanted. He has made it difficult for me to ever trust a therapist again. My family is taking legal action now, but we want to warn others DO NOT go to NOAH Heuser clinic thinking these people are your friends. They violate medical ethics and the law and they may harm you as they did me. Stay safe, go somewhere else.
This facility was great- I didnt have a doctor in AZ as a transplant and I went in to get back on my thyroid medicine. They were awesome about getting me right back on my previous dosage until my blood tests come back with my TSH levels. I’m a huge baby about blood draws and warned them that I’m an embarrassing fainter. They laid me down and drew from my hand instead of my arm- painless and no fainting! That’s a miracle in my book! Nothing but a good experience.
Terrible experience. You may wonder why, then I am giving them a 5 star review.Okay well the parking is good, they have a nutritionists, doctors, and phlebotomists all in one easy convenient suit. I dont want my absolutely terrible experience to deter anyone reading this from at least giving NOAH a shot. Now about my experience. Well a little about me. I have recently got out of a terribly abusive marriage. I had to leave everything behind to get me and my infant son out of that situation. I have no money, no vehicle, and no job. I sleep on the floor at my friends place and walk everywhere I need to go. It took me weeks of careful planning to go to this location, which I was kind of pressured into going when I called to make an appointment at a closer NOAH office. I found someone to watch my son. I negotiated transportation. I got all the stars to align so I could get in and see a doctor as I want to get myself healthy enough to gain employment and handle being a single parent. Well it wasnt easy to navigate downtown Scottsdale but I was able to get there and find where I needed to go. I checked in and learned I needed to switch my primary care physician for my insurance over and give the reference number from the insurance at check-in before I could be seen. Something I would have appreciated knowing ahead of time. Live and learn. I was able to get everything sorted out. Finally get into see the doctor. The doctor kept dismissing the things that are hindering me the most and focusing on what I consider secondary concerns but after much polite persistence on my part the doctor ordered some blood work. I also agreed to meet with the nutritionist even though I met with a nutritionist every 3 months. Some of you know this routine. I eat well, exercise daily but it was really pushed that I should meet with their nutritionist. She was nice and a lovely person. We had a nice conversation but I feel I just wasted her time since there wasnt anything new she could to offer me.Now that visit wasnt ideal but it wasnt terrible. The terrible part is still coming. Hang in there, or dont. Its entirely up to you.So the test results come back and everything is normal but they say the doctor wants me to come back in for more tests. I try and obtain a copy of the results but I am not able to get them, I have to get them when I come in. Panicked slightly as to why I would need more test if everything is normal. I go ahead and schedule a second appointment with the same doctor at the same location but I dont have a lot of time to plan like I did the first appointment. I was unable to find someone to watch my baby, my LO has to come along luckily I am able to find a ride for me and my LO.I get everything together and leave 1hour and 15 minutes early to get to my appointment knowing it will take 40minutes to get there. Well we end up in traffic as there was an accident. Okay I have to explain something here. When I first met my ex husband, a drunk driver plowed into me. It was a bad accident and I had suffered anxiety getting into vehicles ever since. I usually can deal with my anxiety but knowing the accident was the reason for the delay literally made me sick to my stomach. My poor little one was also getting car sick. Fun times. We have to detour run into several issues and by the time I make it to the clinic, I have to pull myself together, unstrap and care for my car sick baby and get inside now 5 minutes late. I have to stand in line for another 7-10 minutes. By the time I go to check in the doctor refused to see me. Back to the car for a long terrible ride to my friends place. I figure must not be so urgent if the doctor turns me away. I dont plan on going back as it isnt an experience I want to relive. Now this was all just my personal experience, but it is more about my current circumstances than about the office itself. So I wouldnt discourage you from checking them out.And if you are in similar circumstances, remember life isnt so bad. Find joy everyday; one day at a time.
The Scottsdale Heuser Family Medical center is amazing. They have the best medical doctors, nurses and staff in the valley. They truly care about their patients and go above and beyond in providing exceptional health care services. I would absolutely recommend this medical center.
Dr James is amazing with my daughter. Sweet and informative. Glad I chose her to be my daughters dr. Will be back as soon as I get insurance figured out.
Been going to Heuser Family Practice for many years.. have always had great luck with the residents. New staff has been courteous and have always had my health concerns dealt with in a professional and caring manner.
Long story short. My insurance no longer contracts with my MD that i had for over 15 years. I’ve searched around, and met another MD last year for my care, and it was the worse experience. I checked with my insurance, and decided to give this place a try. It’s non-profit and i was aware it was a possibility to see a new Physcian which i don’t mind at all; in fact, i prefer a new MD over the older ones because they can last longer as my Physician. Well, the process was great. Got appt. within a week of calling. Walk in, and was called back before completing my new patient paperwork (fast writer), and shortly after my doctor came in and went over my complete medial history. She explained everything to me, new medical guidelines and my diet. She was awesome. Completed my labs before walking out. In total i was there maybe an hour for a preventative checkup, and labs. It would normally take me an hour just to see my previous MD. The only reason they have 4 stars because i didn’t know of the patient portal. I haven’t been called back regarding my labs, and i the assistant didn’t have the room properly cleaned out. The used paper was still on the exam table. Overall, they are friendly, fast, through and trustworthy.
It a great place i like it n it is close to were i live n the staff there are real helpful n really nice
Have had excellent experiences here! Both mental health and medical docs!
Shame on me for not looking at the Reviews before choosing this place as my primary care doctor. I have been here multiple times and still can not get call back with my test results. That to me is ridiculous. Im in the healthcare field and see patients and the daily and I would never reccomend this place. I truly hope honor health can figure out better patient care at this facility. Getting my records and moving on.
DO NOT go here. They billed me for services they didnt provide. The regional manager told me they would take care of it, which they did not, and now they wont return my calls. Inexperienced, unprofessional, not affordable...never returning. Expect to see a different doctor (med student) at each visit.
The front office staff of this practice have to be the rudest individuals I have encountered. There is no need for anyone to be this maligned and rude. Stray clear from this office.
Poor response times and high doctor turnover. Save yourself the trouble and find another primary care
Had an excellent experience at this facility
Staff really cares!
Everyone is amazing in this practice
