Ive been getting Brazilian waxes for years. Done hard and soft waxing. This was the BEST wax experience. Near painless! My wax only took 13 minutes. Megan did an amazing job and I immediately rebooked with her and bought the monthly membership.

They do AMAZING waxing services here. I wish they had a monthly membership like my other places I’ve gone to, but they’re very good, clean, funny, and educational so I choose to still come here and buy the packages! Im so sorry oh my god I dont know why I cant remember!) but regardless I had an amazing time! I havent been waxed in a year, Ive put off my grooming habits because of covid. In addition, keeping it real, as a black woman I am always nervous to attend a predominantly white business that services mostly white persons & no ppl of color on staff because my hair is different. I’ve never had a full face wax before but I’m pretty sure this isn’t what my my face should look like 3 days after. I’ve taken good care of my skin since my appointment but I’ve broken out so badly and there is a large scab on my face. I have NEVER had acne, especially this bad.

This was my first ever Brazilian wax and Ive been avoiding ever getting one because I was terrified of the pain, well Megan did an AMAZING job putting me at ease and it was not at all as painful as I thought it would be! I am very happy with the service and will definitely be returning!

Today was exceptional as I got some really great and specific advice from Becca on some makeup items, which I appreciated so much! She made a list and told me where to go and who to ask for even :)

This review is regarding encounters with Alexus from Lunchbox WaxWithin 5 seconds of being on the phone this individual raised their voice in order to dominate the conversation and was extremely rude and dismissive over a simple inquiry. I was basically talked over and out of the phone and turned down for service.I have a screenshot I can provide of a total of 1 minute spent on the phone being dismissed.This individual provided service once before (2 weeks ago - lips and chin) and immediately upon entering the room questioned my motive for wanting to wax these areas and repeated this questioning to a point of making me feel ashamed and uncomfortable for wanting the service done. Then continued to emphasize that it would hurt and that I would never want to be waxed in these areas again, and low and behold they turned me down today for service.For a wax salon to be located on Lincoln & Scottsdale, it should not be hiring such low caliber individuals that exhibit such sexist and homophobic behavior. I work in the luxury service industry and I would not expect this kind of service ANYWHERE in town but especially not in this city.The other recent negative reviews from former clients are clearly an accurate reflection of the degradation of management of this place. The quality of this brand has gone down tremendously since it’s inception and I feel embarrassed for the founder, Debi Lane.Unfortunately, I would never recommend this company to a friend and will in fact be letting people know to stay far away. The ACLU will be notified of this encounter immediately.

My experience at Lunchbox Wax was very nice. The technician and trainee were both very professional and always made sure I felt comfortable. Having her explain the process to the trainee as she went along also give me a better understanding of the procedure. If need be I would be willing to be a model again in the future. It was definitely a 5 star experience!

The only possible con I can think of is limited parking at this location. The place itself was very clean, super welcoming and modern. When I filled out the paperwork, it asked what pronoun I preferred, which I thought was really cool. My waxologist was Lexi, who was amazing and made me feel super comfortable because it was my first time getting waxed. She was honest and walked me through everything. I’ll definitely be coming back!
