Dapper Dan is an excellent barber! My son and I got some really jacked up haircuts from a previous shop and Dapper Dan took the time to analyze what he’s going to cut and how he’s going to cut it. The results for our haircuts were perfect. Dapper Dan can answer just about any questions you have. I recommend military personnel to come here as well. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m in town again! I guarantee you’ll leave with a satisfied, and confident attitude after your haircut here.

Dans a pro with the clippers and clearly does a good job as you can see from the pictures of me. When you walk in and see his plaques for placing in barber competitions youll understand this guys passionate about what he does. The online booking system makes it easier to plan a haircut so youre not waiting in line behind five other guys. Somehow he is able to time the haircuts just right to where you see the next guy walking in as he wraps up with yours. Make sure to book ahead of time!

I started going to Dapper Dans after my current Barber doubled his prices to $50 plus tip. Dan is the only Barber at this location. When you show up for your appointment, hes ready to cut your hair, no worries about other people, no worries about having to wait in line to get a haircut. He gives great personal quality haircut in a quiet convenient location.

Dan deserves more than 5 stars. He is methodical in the way he cuts hair. You can tell he is a perfectionist, and when it comes to hair he is an artist. I went in for a new style and he nailed my hair and beard. I cant remember the last time I was this impressed with a hair cut. Dans my guy now, I dont care that its a 30min drive from my house (without traffic). Thats how you know its that good, a GREAT haircut is worth whatever. I love how he takes his time not just with the cut but explaining and teaching about hair, the style, and the maintenance. Before he even started cutting I could tell he knows his craft, after they cut I know that he mastered it. I also love that he is appointment only so Im not wasting my day waiting to be seen.

This man could easily be charging $50 for a haircut, instead he charges $25 with exceptional service, very friendly and clean atmosphere, super easy to talk to. Dan broke down my haircut, showed me what others failed to do(something I was very aware of), and how he was going to make it right, which he did. Without a question the best hair cut I’ve ever had, I don’t think I’ll let anyone else ever touch my hair again, thanks Dan, glad I met you!

Dapper Dans is pretty much my ideal barber. He does honest work with great care and consideration. And hes personable. Youll get the idea when you meet him. Hes got a solid routine lined up. Dont expect to walk in and get a cut. Not saying thats a bad thing, just know he books real easy online and youll get a reminder about the appointment on your phone the day before and the day of. Hes great. Give him a try.P.S. There is a wig store next to him. Try not to park in front of him unless youre into twenty mannequin heads staring lifelessly into your soul plotting your death. Prior to moving to Phoenix, I’ve only had my hair cut by two other people; the person who cut my hair for 23 years and the other was a barber shop on Scottsdale. Dan is the truth. I have a hard time finding someone who can actually cut my hair to a style that I like, and from the first time I saw Dan he was able to do that for me. Probably the best fade/cut that Ive ever gotten and the service is top notch. Ive now recommended him to multiple friends of mine who are now regular clients. Dans cuts were so impressive that I now come in for a cut/shave combo and leave happy every time. If youre in Scottsdale or anywhere near and are looking for that old school treatment without all the extra fuss I definitely recommend you make an appointment ASAP.

This guy can cut hair!!! I have been to multiple barbers over the years, some good, some terrible, but Dapper Dan is awesome. He hooked me up with a super clean skin fade side part that is probably the best I have ever had. He is a laid back cat that really takes his time making sure you look your best. Dan was great. Clean neat place. Told him my parameters which barbers and let him do his own thing. A lot of barbers in this area struggle with this but not here. Came out better than I imagined and in less than 35 minutes! Good with conversation, I’m definently coming back.

I’ve had 2 kidney transplants one in 2017 and that one has issues. Often have to go to the bathroom as a result. As I entered into Dan shop for my appointment and asked if I could use the bathroom. His first response was it was not open to the public. He said the same thing two months ago. I thought he didn’t recognize me. When I asked him if there was one nearby he said no. I made a joke that he misinterpreted. I found one across the street. I found it odd he didn’t tell me. He’s just not a nice person. You’ll see that when you meet him. He doesn’t care about his customers. He has no people skills. I was shocked when he would not let me use his bathroom and didn’t offer any help in finding one. Not a good person.
