I have been a loyal customer of Diesel Barbershop since they opened. I also brought my 2 boys there as well. Unfortunately, the last hair cuts both my boys received we bad. The staff did their best to fix the hair cuts between customers for me. I left feedback for the owners on their website, TWICE, with no response. I am not looking for a handout, but it would have been nice for the owners to acknowledge my emails. Attached is a picture of my youngest sons haircut. At the time it was styled and I didnt notice. The next day after he showered, these bangs? I didnt want a bowl cut, but these bangs are way off. Anyone can have an off day, but 2 bad haircuts later and the owners wont even acknowledge my feedback, so unfortunately I am left with no choice but to leave this bad review. It is a shame that after 2 years of being a loyal customer, it has to end like this, I will not be back to Diesel Barbershop.UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner, we had a great conversation about my recent experience, and I am happy to report that I will still be a loyal customer for Diesel Barbershop. Consistently awesome. Great haircut, and beard trim with razor shave. Hannah is great, everybody is professional and courteous! They will definitely take care of you.

I absolutely love this place! Not only are they nice and helpful but you get a drink when you walk in! The vibe in this place is incredible as well: it’s entirely rad movies and cool retro references. I got my hair done by Brook and she is exceptional. She not only spent extra time with me, but offered multiple tips and other customer related topics. Well done Brett! You’ve created a fantastic experience.

Wow is an absolute understatement to the amazing quality that comes out of this shop. From the cool, laid-back atmosphere to the wide variety of awesome music. While all those just sweeten the experience so much more, its the staff that really make this shop the BEST shop in Arizona. My boyfriend gets his haircut regularly from Brooke, she ALWAYS has him looking fresh and clean. Anytime Im in there with him, Im offered a bevarge and she lets me sit by them and Im included in the conversations. Shes funny and easy to get along with. The other girls in there are also friendly and inviting, they all seem very happy to do what they do and it shows in the incredible quality of their work. If youre looking for a place to go, youd be insane not to go see the girls at Diesel!

Hannah has to be one of the best hair dressers Ive ever had. I was visiting from Seattle. It was easy to book an appointment, the atmosphere was clean and enjoyable. Hannah made reccomendations and I was extermely happy with my cut and ear wax. I will definitely be back when I visit Scottsdale again!

The most wonderful shave and grooming experience in Scottsdale. Atmosphere is upbeat, comfortable and place is Spic and Span clean! The staff is amazing - each and everyone. If you want the greatest shave, Emma is the bomb! It is one of my most enjoyable experiences every week. So glad I found them.

Go here and look for the blue hair or ask for Brooke. First time in I told Brooke to just cut my hair and beard however she wanted. Im a first time covid beard grower and a repeat no matter how my hair is cut wife complaint recipient. To my surprise my wife loved my cuts and so now Im not going anywhere else. Super cool environment, supper cool staff. Definitely worth stopping by. Really accommodating and so far really easy to get same day cut requests. Any bad review of Brooke is a GD lie or the keystrokes of a loser.

Not just a haircut...a great experience! From the music to the hot towel to the neck massage! And you have to ask for Evanne, she will become your new best friend after just a short time in her chair. Great conversationalist with a razor sharp wit. Get to Diesel ASAP!!

Went in and had Mak as my stylest! She was professional and friendly and Ill be asking for her next time Im in! The staff are all great. The store has an inviting and retro feel, enough to pull anyone in just to take a look. Highly recommend!

Evanne is my favorite! She really knows her stuff and always knows what to do when I set down. She always remembers. I’m kinda particular with the way I like my hair cut and she never fails. She is sweet, kind, thoughtful and with a little salt and vinegar and very professional. I highly recommend her!!! 👍🏼

Ive used this location 3 times now. The first two visits were satisfying enough, but the 3rd time I was assigned to Jose. Maybe the best haircut Ive ever had. Takes his time. Very personable. Gives you exactly what you want and has great recommendations. I will return for him.

I convinced my husband to get his hair trimmed. He has worn a pony tail for many years and was in need of having it shaped up. The staff at Diesel were welcoming and professional and J did a great job of cleaning up my husbands long hair. He was very pleased with the result and so am I!! We will definitely go back for another trim when needed.

I am not normally the type to write reviews, but I felt that I had to for this place. I had my hair cut by Chad, he was incredibly kind and skillful. I dont usually use much product in my hair but he explained exactly how to use it in a way that I can actually do it myself in the morning.I briefly met the owner and exchanged a laugh. Every person I met was absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough. Ill be back for sure!

We just left Diesel Barbershop off of Thompson Peak Pkwy and are so happy with the experience. We walked in and they were able to take my husband right away. Jacquie and everybody there were so friendly and awesome! My husband had a bad experience previously and so this restored some faith! The atmosphere is also very cool and welcoming! Will definitely be back again and love this place!

Brought my husband in for a full service hair cut, shave, & pampering by Makiah. She did a fantastic job & hubby LOVED the entire experience. The hot towels & massage were a nice touch. We dig the chill atmosphere & decor, and the staff was really nice too! I have already recommended these guys to several friends who said they were pleased with their service as well. Well be back!

Amazing EXPERIENCE and haircut, caring staff with a great owner. I am brand new to Arizona and he took the time to show me some new hiking trails to try. Jacquie showed patience was caring while providing a relaxing spa level experience while being herself an amazing barber. I will be sharing with colleagues at work.

My last haircut was a debacle and left me looking like a cotton ball. I took a chance on a new barbershop and luckily I did because a fiery red head named Brooke worked her magic on my embarrassing hair. I went from wearing a beanie constantly to getting compliments about my hair again. I’ve never had a regular stylist since I never really cared about my hair too much, but after seeing what a good haircut can do for you? Yeah, I found my girl!

I was in the area and noticed this placed opened up. I was greeted warmly and Nadine helped me out. I had never need to a Diesel before, and Nadine told me about the business and the services. They were very caring and inquisitive about how I liked my hair. Nadine did a great job and I will be back again.

Loved the vibe of this new barbershop and the friendly stylist and staff bring it all together. Though (concerningly 😂) youthful my stylist Makiah came through with a great haircut (haven’t had a better one) and fun conversation. She was also very knowledgeable on products that helped my hair look better! I have only done barbershops for years but this is the only place that put it all together: awesome stylist combined with vibe/music, shave, hot towel, hair wash, helpful product advice. Great experience, 5 stars!

Came into this barber shop for the first and got my haircut by Krys, she did an incredible job! I explained the cut I was looking for and she made sure along the way it was exactly what I wanted. The experience here is very great and a really good price too, I’ll definitely be coming back next month.

My boyfriend came here in hopes of finally getting a good haircut (the last place he went gave him a “say no more” meme worthy haircut) and Makiah hooked him up! She cut his hair exactly how he wanted and I just want to gobble him up! The overall experience was great and my boyfriend will definitely be coming back here every month to get his hair cut by Makiah.
