This facility is a breath of fresh air compared to other storage facilities that Ive used. Here, you will find nice clean storage units, primarily indoor air-conditioned units, but there are also outside, drive-up units. The inside units are easily accessed via large elevators,, using the large flatbed carts provided by the facility. The air-conditioning is wonderful, also, the inside has music piped in, which is much nicer than you would think. Their prices are great, even less expensive than most non air-conditioned, run-down facilities such as Self Storage. Finally, the best amenity that they provide is, upon moving in, they will let you use their moving truck for free, with simply a $50 deposit. You get the first 20 miles for free, and the cost beyond 20 miles is 79c per additional mile.

I posted a complaint about Scottsdale Self Storage around last May. I am posting again because I wanted to advise the readers that my complaint became moot at the end of my contract. I had been told that I would be able to store my vehicle for less than a month at a greatly reduced rate. There was a limit to the time period which I would have been able to store the truck which was a close shave, but still doable. The person I talked to first, Mike, had made the arrangement with me, and later in the deal, when I was dealing with someone else, they said I would not be able to do that. The glitch was that there would be nobody in the office when I checked out my truck, even though I would have it out before the end of the month. It was due to a Memorial day holiday thing. I called back and got Mike on the phone on another date, and he assured me that the original deal would work, which it did. Mike has always been helpful to us and he has a great businessmans imagination, thinks on his feet well, and tries his best to bring forth a happy customer. So this is to notify the readers that my original complaint is retracted, and all is well between us and Scottsdale Self Storage. Thank you Mike for your help today as well.

I love this company…I have stored with them over the past three years…just recently relocated to the facility off of Pima and Thomas…it is an immaculate facility..so nice and clean and I was VERY pleased to see Michael is the manager…I was already familiar with him from a previous location…he is truly amazing! Always looks out for his customers and will go above and beyond…all around great guy and a great manager! I don’t see myself ever storing anywhere else! Five stars times two!! #YouRockMichael

Just not flexible, nice but I don’t think they understand true customer service. Giving water when it’s consistently 110+ is a given but opening a door 5 minutes early when the building is opened at 2 hours prior is a simple act of kindness & professionalism. Sometimes it’s not a bad thing to bend a “rule” especially when your business still operates. He was there, in the office & wouldn’t allow me access 5 minute early for “security.” I wouldn’t have written this if 2 ladies didn’t pull around me & entered a code which got them in. I could’ve followed them in but I didn’t, I stayed out until 8am. Greet location but hours are awful and they are NOT flexible. Again, they’re polite but lack true customer service

Employees took time to make sure we rented the correct sized unit. Several carts were available for transferring our furniture between the storage unit and our truck. The business is easily accessed off Loop 101.

Here I am sitting in my car to pick up a 130pm reservation for a truck in 100 degree weather and you dont have the decency to call ahead to say your office will be closed until 210pm. I have a carpet cleaning reservation at 2pm. But no, Ive got to figure it out. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. All you had to do was have someone there to give the keys!Update, she was you know....hanging out in her car till I decided to walk over and ask if she knew anything....turns out it was her!....luckily I did not need to wait.Clean facility, good storage space, not so good employee.

I moved I last year and .Elaina moved me in. She was great and never even flinched when a problem arose, she could handle it and it was always fixed before the end of the day! She was respectful and cared genuinely for her customers . The only problem I had was when she told me my rate wouldnt increase for a long time this was a major fact leading to my decision to rent here .5 months later I had a huge increase already. I was truly twisted about this because Covid had already came into effect at this point and I was financially delipitated. Upset when I called her, I expressed my feelings and was unable to move again at that point. She took resposibility and she got permission to increase my unit only a small percentage . I was so grateful! She was so awesome.Unfortunately that no increase in a long time fact was not true and sure enough my next increase was huge. The place is new with security cameras all over, if they are functional I dont know but it looks good, its clean, air controlled and for the most part the staff is great.The negatives: The hours at this property are horrible, 8 am-6:45 pm and closed all major holidays ! NO ACCESS TO YOUR PROPERTY AFTER 6:45 PM EVER OR ON NATIONAL HOLIDAYS. THE LIGHTS SHUT OFF CONTINUOUSLY WHILE YOUR TRYING TO ORGANIZE YOUR UNIT AND USUALLY YOUR STUCK IN THE VERY BACK AND ON TOP OR IN BETWEEN FURNITURE AND HAVE TO SOMEHOW SAFELY MAKE IT OUT TO THE HALLWAY TO TRIP THE SENSOR AGAIN. LIGHTS ARE ALWAYS OFF IN THE HALLWAY WHEN YOU GET OFF THE ELEVATOR TO YOUR UNIT. VERY DANGEROUS. DOLLIES ARE PARKED RIGHT OUTSIDE ELEVATOR YOU HAVE TO AVOID THOSE AND MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE HALLWAY WHERE THE SENSOR IS AND WAVE YOUR ARMS UNTIL THE LIGHT GOES BACK ON!I called in immediately as to why this increase was so high and I wanted to know why I was lead to believe the increase would be much longer than every 5 or 6 months and was told by someone else, a manager, that he had to keep up with the surrounding storage facility rates.I disagreed because the hours are not comprable, the chicken wire ceiling is not comprable or feel secure. The worst and most incomparable factor is the lighting shutting off and someone could really get hurt! All these factors in place Lead me to believe this rent increase should not take place especially for as much as it is and as frequent as it is. Thank you.

Nice facility... The cost of storage units have increased from around $75 monthly 4 times in 2yrs to $125 + $11 for insurance.and no change in services offered. Less than 30 day notice of change. Im thinking its time for a change!!

They have been very good about holding our stuff for a year and Im hoping to move out where Im at so we can get all our stuff out again theyre very good on pricing as well nobody gets in and if you have a heck of time trying to get out cuz you get locked in call the cops thats the best thing to do and theyll let you out.

Its a well kept facility with good security. Staff is helpful. Prices are fair. I wish the access hours were a little longer but I still think they deserve 5 stars

Needed a space quickly- I called and spoke to office - explained my situation and was immediately offered a space, hassle free!Got to storage facility and was greeted by a very nice gentleman ( who I had already spoke to on phone)He had everything ready for me AND he got me into a super great spot! After explaining how everything works I placed my stuff into my newly rented space, locked up and as I was leaving the gentleman who helped me came to wish me goodbye and offer any other assistance if needed.Very professional, very customer oriented, very clean and well kept. I am super happy I chose this storage facility and would highly recommend to anyone looking to store items.On a scale of 1 to 10 - definitely a 10!+

Justin and Alina were very helpful, straightforward, and kind! They worked quickly and were very honest and welcoming through the whole process and the location is great as well. I definitely recommend this place for storage!

Very impressed with the service of this facility. I had called about another location and they quickly checked other areas and got me into a unit I needed with all my requests as far as size, garage door opening type door and on the first level with easy access. One day after leaving my unit I guess I had not properly secured the door and an employee called me to let me know that it wasnt secured and I went back to lock it properly. I was surprised at the level of service I had received only having just gotten the unit. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for storage needs.

Very clean and well kept up. Very expensive. Employees are friendly. Do not like the hours. You should be able to access your belongings until 10pm. Makes it very hard when you are moving in.

He not only took the time to show us the facility and storage unit, he provided us with the best storage rates possible, that fits within our budget. Excellent front desk service. Storage area well kept, well-lit, secure and air conditioned. Reasonable rates with a month of free storage at sign-up. In the past Ive used 3 other storage facilities and they didnt come close to the service, security and value of this facility.

My fiance and I drove in from Austin and needed a space to put our stuff. Elijah had spoke to Bill about being able to get there a little late and still get a space and all he said was Ill be here waiting for you. What a change from some of the other customer service experiences weve had in the past. Bill welcomed us with a big smile and had us laughing the whole time. Which was great after being on the road all day. He got us in, gave us a spot close to the elevator, and offered some tips on how to store our belongings. The facility was so clean and well kept, and Bill gave all the credit to the manager Alina. If youre in search of storage, come see this place. You will not be disappointed.

Bill and Alina here were the most welcoming I’ve experienced when renting a storage unit. They obviously hire right. In terms of the facility itself, they have every inch covered by camera and it is an incredibly secure facility. I would highly recommend storing here if you’re in the old town Scottsdale area!

I love this place best deals around!! Clean air-conditioning nice and convenient right off the 101. The doors open for you when you have stuff on the dollies. The staff Michael and Bill was so helpful and professional.

This is a great place. I compared 2 nearby competitors. Another was just as new & clean, but much more expensive; and the other was in worse condition And more expensive. At the time when I rented, it looked like about half the units werent occupied yet, which may explain the great rate I got. Michael and Alex were super helpful in getting me set up with everything I needed. I highly recommend.

The management are very nice and helpful. The place is really clean. There is air conditioning in the units thats one reason I picked this place. They give you until the 10 th of the month before they give a late fee. When you move in They will let you use a truck to move for 4-6 hours. I just called when I was going to be a little late, it was no problem. They do close early 7:00pm. They do have great security. I would definitely recommend this place.

Their hours are absolutely UNETHICAL don’t get a unit here if you work because they won’t give you access to your unit unless it’s on their terms, better yet don’t get a unit here at all with a company that has 0 regard for their customers. NIGHTMARE OF A BUSINESS !!!! The only thing these hours are doing is pissing off the customers they do have before they move to another facility, and deterring any future customers from wanting your business. SO UNETHICAL

Its a very nice place inside and is priced about what any other storage facility is priced but I have stopped by six different times on six different days And the office staff is never there. Im starting to wonder If this thing has any staff whatsoever.

I have utilized MANY storage spaces in the valley within the last half a decade and wish I would’ve came across this place sooner!!Brandon was extremely helpful and patient with allllll of my questions!He is very knowledgeable, escorted me around the unit and even upsold me on a larger unit that essentially will be more of a value for my family’s needs! At only $2 more a month for 5 extra feet!!So glad I found this place!! Recommended.

I would most definitely recommend StorAmerica on Pima. I got the best deal in the valley and the free moving truck they gave us to move into the unit was well worth the 15 mile drive. Brandon was the best! I was already happy with the proces when I walked in. By the end of the whole process, he was able to get me an even better price. My plans changed and no longer needed storage called within 1 hour of getting the unit and they would not provide a refund because I put 2 boxes in the unit. Didnt try to help me resolve the situation. I dont reccommend them.

Only reason getting 4 stars rather than 5 is because it was difficult to get someone on the phone, and when you want to speak with someone, could be a bit frustrating... calls kept going to voicemail. I will say that the night person was helpful with staying open after closing hours, and the facility inside looked nice. Thankx.

Next to impossible to find. Multiple calls with no answer. Had a reservation to pick up our moving truck for the storage unit that we rented at 2 PM. We show up exactly at 2 PM and there is a sign saying the person stepped out until 3 PM. The hours show 8 AM - 7PM but no one is there at 2 and the place is locked. What a joke.
