Helpful and friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. While there overheard them being honest and helpful with two female customers. Only minus was the wait time as they were short on mechanics and couldnt complete all requested work.

I can’t speak for everyone. But this has to be one of the best place I’ve get my car fix. The customer service is out of this world and these guys always do an amazing job, also bring from Florida and learning that they’re under the same umbrella as Tire Kingdom (Auto Shop) make me feel at home here in the desert. But like I said my experience here has been wonderful, I can’t speak for everyone.

After having issues with a manager at my local BIG O, I came 20 minutes to this one. I was met with great customer service and a staff that is willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. The manager Will spoke to me personally and was able to solve my issues. I will continue to come out of my way to come to this location for all services needed to all of my vehicles.

Overpriced, tried to charge me $250 for a radiator flush. Went to the Jiffy Lube next door and got it done for $140 (best jiffy lube visit ever, manager was so helpful and informative, cant really say the same about this Big O Tires place). Customer Service is just meh.

Absolute waste of time. Three times I was assured Id be out the door in an hour and a half, an hour and a half later they still havent touched my car and it would have been another hour and a half for them to even get to it. It is useless to get a discount on nothing. And this place is nothing. Very disappointed

Love these guys over at Big O. Been a Big O tire guy for decades in California and when I relocated to Scottsdale these were the first guys I looked up. Very knowledgeable staff and the owner Adam knows his stuff as well. I would highly recommend these guys for all your automotive needs.

I was traveling and needed tires. I went to this location and asked to have all 4 tires replaced. The man working there only had 2 in stock so he convinced me that I only needed 2 tires and that the other ones would last at least another 2 years. Now, not even 4 months later, Im getting my oil changed and tires rotated and the mechanic showed me that not only are the 2 tires I was talked out of replacing are bad but the ones I just bought from Big O Tire are starting to go bad. I called the manager of the store and he would take no responsibility for his employee who put me on the road with unsafe tires and said that that employee has already been fired. I asked to speak to the owner and he refused to let me OR do anything to rectify the situation. He just tried to sell me more tires. Dont trust this place to keep you safe on the road.

This morning I was already feeling down on my luck when I discovered my right rear tire was flat. Knowing that I had to have this fixed asap I could feel the wave of stress wash over me. Then I called Will Hawks at Big O. Not only did he assure me he had everything I needed to resolve this mess, but when I got there he had me in and out in record time (even with an oil change on top of the tire replacement) and did so at an awesome price. I cant recommend this team enough and definitely seek out Will if you can.

Had a invoice for 312 for new tires. Person who claimed to be mgr tried to then charge me 505 after they put them on the car. Had a heated conversation with this guy who then leaves to the bay and starts yelling about this to the other workers. Comes back and tells me the other counter person would help me he was done with me. The person come and say that is 360 because of the tmps yet the website allows you to remove it from the order. He does some changes and I get a bill for 317. I have never got work done on my car and not paid first. Poor customer service and will go somewhere else. Gave 2 star because of 2nd guy.

First lets talk about employee appearances. Maybe check and make sure you dont have some white substance in the middle of your beard when working the front counter.Next when the customer asks for a strange requests. As a manager you should know how to Politely explain that its not possible. Usually a simple sorry No company policies wont allow that will suffice. Probably important to understand i am coming here for my service agreement i have on my used car I bought in Mesa. And I have been here twice before for the same services and gotten some different BS excuses as to why I will probably have to Pay next time! I am not receiving a free service because this was included in the purchase of my Car.What you should never do is tell the customer they are wrong or that they do not know what they are taking about. Also never should a disrespectful tone be taken with the customer.Its sad that I have had this issue with every Manager i have encountered at this site. Yes even the messy beard or some other unprofessional appearances.When the customer returns for their vehicle is a great time to make up for being rude or unfriendly. Nope not this place everytime the Manager is Rude when it return as well.Not sure why One free oil change and tire rotation puts them in such a mood, but its not my problem. Having managed oil change places as a younger man and worked in the Automotive industry for over 20 years I never worried about giving away free service it always made me more money in the end. Guess these Managers that give off more of a Ex-Convicted Felon vibe never heard the flies and hunny bit.Anyway the tech did his job so I had to toss him a tip for sure. The tech was super happy to hear he did a good job. As he saw me look over my car very closely because of the unprofessional manager.Which leads me to another worry are these Technicians being treated well?Probably not with managers like I have had contact with at this place. Probably missing out on all kinds of tips I told him. I said thanks for doing a good job tell your boss I would have tipped bigger for my free oil change if the Manager hadnt been unprofessional from the start.

I brought my truck in for the alignment to be done after i had my front end replaced and got brand new tires. The alignment was off and wearing my tires down on the inside. They attempted to fix the issue. The alignment was still noticeably wrong to the point my mechanic could see from just looking at my truck. I returned again they attempted to repair it and i asked what are we going to do about my brand new tires that are ruined. They said they would give me a discount on a new set. After three attempts I’ve now brought it to another shop and had it repaired had to pay them and now have to purchase new tires. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to this place.

REFUSED SERVICE MULTIPLE TIMES.Simply wanted an oil change for my car. Never had been to Big O Tires but decided to give it a shot. I called ahead to find out if they service by appointment, they told me they did not.First time I came in 2 1/2 hours before closing time and I was told they couldn’t fit me in because 6 people were ahead of me. I was told to come back between 7-9 AM for the best service time. I thought the person at the desk was rude for refusing to help me but didn’t mind coming back another time.Second time I wanted to come in, I woke up and arrived at the store right at opening time as told and the same guy is at the front counter (7AM).... This is the point where I feel like I’m being lied too, and the reason I won’t be coming here anymore, and the reason I’m leaving this 1 star review. I ask again for an oil change and I’m told they are booked out all day for oil changes, (except I was told previously they didn’t do appointments??) And to come back another day at 7 AM. I slink away having been refused service for the second time. At this point I feel the guy just doesn’t feel like doing oil changes because he doesn’t get very much revenue out of it.Obviously I don’t plan on going back after being refused service for a simple oil change twice. Ever.Evidently there’s a reason no one goes to Big O Tires.Thanks for making the customer experience awful!

Terry is awesome, the rest of the crew are quick, efficient and easy to do business with. I drive a Chevrolet Equinox diesel. I have a lot of challenges with air pressure in tires, the DEF fluid, and maintenance in general, I feel comfortable that this location of Big O is honest and does a great job.

THEY FORGOT TO PUT MY AIR FILTER IN MY VEHICLE!! Awful service. Went in to get an oil change, they said that I needed a new air filter. Terre said it would be $25.00 to the filter and install. My vehicle (oil change and air filter) was completed and I paid over $80.00 for the service. Driving to get on the highway today and my car began making odd sounds. I get to my destination (after driving on major construction roads), pop the hood, only to find my air box was completely unlatched and there was no filter in it at all. When I called back Terre asked if I was nearby when I told him no he said ok well we called you yesterday and left a voicemail right after you left we forgot to put an air filter in He continued to make it out to be MY fault for not responding to a voicemail (that I never got...if I had gotten it wouldnt I have called back so I dont do major damage to my $30,000 car??) he said I need to come back to get an air filter put it. I told him that Im not spending my time, gas, and risk damaging my car by driving another 20 miles from my location with no air filter and I want a refund. They have refused to give me a refund and I have contacted the BBB. Be very cautious going here, protect your car and yourself. These guys will give you half completed work at a full price. The customer service this location provides is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced. The buzzed blonde guy at the counter (I’m assuming either owner or manager) really knows how to run a business. Even on the phone call before coming up, super polite and informative. I highly recommend using this location. (I was not paid, asked or encouraged in any way to write this. Just have to give credit where credit is deserved)

As an older single woman I’m always leery about taking my car in. Big O on McDowell has been great. I’ve been going there since about 2014 and always feel I’m treated with respect and no “fabricated” repairs needed. I drive from 94th St/Cactus just to go there. Great workers very honest.

Why have an option to make an appointment for an oil change if you dont honor it. If you send out an email canceling it. People make appointments for a reason.

I came in to get tires, originally. I bought four beautiful Toyo Open Country tires for my Jeep. In my time there I got to know Terry and Jason, they are both incredibly helpful and very resourceful. Not too long after my initial visit, I made an attempt to replace the water pump and didnt go as planned, so I ended up bringing it in and they took care of everything. I consider this location to be the second home to my baby, I am confident in leaving the keys and knowing that theyll do an amazing job, all while keeping me in the loop, and imparting knowledge I didnt even know I needed. Truly impressed with the customer service they provide, these guys here go above and beyond and it shows.

Do your research on any “necessary” repairs they may suggest so you don’t get ripped off. Asked the tech to provide me with a written list of the nearly $2,000 worth of repairs he claims I needed and he quickly backtracked, stating “Actually I took a second look and it’s not needed”. Exactly what I thought, especially seeing how my car is newer and was a dealership shop last week and there was no mention of needing the power steering rack replaced. I took my car in for a simple oil change and they made their best attempt at ripping me off. Never taking my car back there again.

I bought 6 tires for my RV. I took it back multiple times to have the tires balanced. At one point they warrantee it out the form back tires and it still shook really bad at 65. They said it was the RV and not the tires. So I took it to a driveline shop paid out of my pocket. They said it was definitely the tires/rims.I took it to a real tire shop and they found 3 bent wheels. The daullys have pins your supposed to line up and big did not. They just Torqued them down and bent them.After buying used wheels and having the other tire shop balance of them. The RV is so much smother. I took my receipts to Jayson and Big O. He just gave me the run around. I can’t even get a call back from Adam..

Original Alignment was done incorrectly, it ruined my newer front tires. The tires were replaced with new exact same tires. No hassle, attitude, good place to do business!

The friendliest and most honest auto service shop I have ever been to. The sales representative treated me like a friend who needed help. He gave me the best options for what my car needed and did not try to sell me on things that I did not need. What a disappointing experience! We sent one of our foreman into Big O Tires for a tire change and 5 hours later we were charged $160 (with a tiny return of $40 for the inconvenience) FOR THE WRONG SIZE TIRE. Our owner called in to the Big O and spoke with the manager Jason who transferred her without any kind of resolution. They treated our crew member disrespectfully throughout the entire process and did not make right on a 4 hour mistake. We are no longer using them for our company fleet & will be making sure to let people know about our terrible experience.I do have to add that the gentleman who actually made the mistake, Chris, who said he was new and knew the owner was the ONLY kind individual in the entire facility. While he messed up, he owned it and tried to fix the error to the best of his ability. Good Job, Chris. That location NEEDS someone like you!

The crew members at this location were exceptional.. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. This visit included an oil change tire rotation and a brake check. I was also notified of a plastic bag which had melted to my muffler and was emitting a burnt smell. I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of my service..

I wish I could give these guys 25/10. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Professional and will quite literally never go anywhere else for an oil change again. These guys work hard and will absolutely go the extra mile for you.

I just want to share how pleased I am with the service received at Big O Tires on McDowell Rd in Scottsdale, AZ. I had major work that needed to be done, and needed to prioritize and choose carefully the order in which things were resolved. My main contact was with Dave, who was kind, helpful and always courteous. He, along with the mechanic Wayne, helped me to understand what needed to be done, explained things well, and physically showed me the status of my car. Their number one concern was my safety, while also making sure the work was done well and to my satisfaction. Because of the amount of work I had done over time, many of the employees were familiar with me. All were friendly and pleasant to work with. I would recommend this location in a heartbeat.

These guys were awesome! I came in with a popped tire and they couldnt get the tire I needed, but changed it out to the spare and sent me on my way with a have a good day. Totally unexpected and so appreciated. I would definitely recommend these guys and will keep them on the top of my list in the future when needing tires.

Having previously purchased the tires for my vehicle here a couple years ago, I called this afternoon when one of the stopped holding air... and of course it was just 45 minutes before my husband had to be at work! We were fortunate in that the car was pulled in right away, we were not charged for the flat repair, and my husband will only be 30 minutes late for work! Very thankful for the quick and friendly service!

If there was a option for ZERO stars that’s what I would give them. Do not take your vehicle here. They break your car. I came in for a simple oil change then was told my filter needed to be changed and when they finished the job the filter tube was cracked and all they said was put duck tape on it. They do not care for their customers they get the interior of your car black from their dirty feet. The guys that work here have no care for what they are doing. They also broke my stand to hold the hood of the car up. Worst service never going back to them and do not recommend any one here. You’d have better luck looking up the videos on what you need done on YouTube and fixing it yourself. The men here are very careless and do not know what they are doing. Now I got to buy a $100 tube for my filter that they broke.

Guy in the front with tattoos in his hands, didn’t even say one word ha ha ha great customer service pal. Won’t be coming back. Not sure it was because I wasn’t his race!! 🤔He talked to everyone else and hold a conversation.I wasted few grand in this place and this is how we get treated, go somewhere else!!

Mother-in-law goes for battery and rotation. Gets home and TPMS lights up the next day. All tire pressures are low, one is 10 psi low. I guess you have to actually ASK to have the pressure checked when you get a rotation?Four trips and about eight wasted hours of my time for an alignment for my van. Admittedly, I needed something they don’t do every day, which is why I foolishly gave them so many opportunities to resolve it. But a litany of customer service problems ensued, leading up to the finale... putting it on the alignment rack, measuring the alignment, not actually adjusting anything (despite clearly out-of-spec measurements), AND never test driving it afterward to confirm the problem is resolved...which obviously it isn’t because nothing was adjusted. Profoundly disappointing.

These guys have put air in my giant off road mud tires on my lifted Suburban for the last year because they can get my psi high enough due to gas station air compressors are always broken in this area. They are SUPER nice and always helpful.

Once again, the guys at this Big O took good care of my truck and I. They mounted and balanced a tire for me and replaced two valve stems while I got to take a nap in their comfy couch!

Came into Big O today because I had a screw in my tire and the gentleman working the floor made me feel very welcome and taken care of. My toddler was running around causing a ruckus and the manager came out and made conversation with him while we waited. What a great establishment and the customer service I recieved today was such a blessing thank you Big O!!!!!

I bought wheels (5 Black Rock 900B Viper) they matched the price i got at Walmart online, and i got them a week faster.

From the moment I called the store to see if they could fit me in at the last minute to replace my tires before I left for vacation I received exemplary service. Will, and the team at Big O fit me in right away and got me in and out with new tires in under and hour, at a price below what I had been quoted by Firestone, and for higher quality tires too! I will be returning to this location for all of my tire and auto needs, and plan on signing their praises from the rooftops to anyone who will listen because it is truly rare to find an honest, customer service oriented shop like this, and I am SO happy I did!

I would give them a zero if I could. They told me my front brakes were completely shot and needed new brake pads and rotors and that my front lower control arms were bad. They quoted me a little over $1,000 for parts, labor, and an alignment. I called up Sun Devil Auto to do a price comparison and they quoted $200 less for the lower control arms and alignment. I didnt think my brakes were actually bad since I had them checked a few months before and they were fine. I took my car into Sun Devil Auto to replace the lower control arms and they checked my brakes and told me my brakes were completely fine. So Big O Tires lied to me just to get more money out of me. I will never go back to Big O Tires- plus they werent friendly at all.

I was charged $30.00 for a TPMS (tire pressure monitor sensor system) test. I have two problems with this:1. I didnt authorize this test.2. I DRIVE A 2001 DODGE 2500 WHICH DOESNT HAVE A TPMS SYSTEM!!!!Is it standard procedure to run bogus checks, and charge customers for this? Are your people not adept enough to know when a vehicle isnt equipped with this system????

These guys know what they are doing! I have a big lifted truck and couldnt get anyone to do an Alignment on my it because it was to big. Adam and his crew got it done!! Great guys! I wouldnt use anyone else!

Needed breaks and got them. I use this shop enough to feel completely confident in the work done. Good price and fast service. Ill, of course, be back.

I visited the store for an oil change on Wednesday, 09/05/18. Included in the service was a tire rotation. I’m not sure this was actually done because less than 12 hours later my car alerted me that my tire pressure was extremely low. I went to discount tire and was informed that all four tires were very low on air (22 and should have been 40). So either Big O Tires rotated my tires and never checked the air OR the tires were never rotated to begin with and I was advised differently.

My father came to visit in his pickup truck to help me transport some lumber from the store back home. When he arrived, his right rear tire was really low. I pulled the tire off, and found a small hole. Took it to this location, they stated it would be an hour and a half at least, they were busy. Understandable. What seemed to be the manager was rude. No service paperwork was written up. My father has been a loyal customer with big o for over 25 years. He wasnt happy when we came back 3 hours later, and the tire hadnt been touched.

Previously a die hard Discount customer...NOW A BIG O fan for life!Dave at Big O could not have done a single thing more than or better than he did on a recent visit. His entire staff executed a tire change and checked out a couple of other minor fixes Ill be needing in the near future. From the moment I called to simply check the price of tires for my car, he demonstrated that this place STANDS OUT in the customer service arena. He actually stocked the tires I needed and Discount would have had to order them. His price was lower AND he waited until after hours for me to get there so he could install them. One of his associates met me at my car door when I arrived and within minutes they had changed my tires and I was out the door. The entire shop was filled with great guys with fun personalities who werent a bit put off by working late. My experience with Big O turned a Saturday of car troubles into a great day ending with meeting a new staff to care for my vintage car. THANKS GUYS!

I have become a Big-O fan! Twice in the last month I had a two different problems with my tires & had to stop in. By coincidence both times i was right by Discount & stopped there first.Both times at Discount I waited 15 min just to be told there is a 3-4 hour wait before they could even look at my tires.Both times I left in a huff & drove to Big O where I was promptly greeted & my problem fixed in less then 35 minutes. The guys, even though very busy are nice, took the time to explain what was done & sent me on my way. I couldnt ask for better service!Trust me, dont bother with that other overrated, over crowded tire store. Instead come to Big O - you wont be disappointed!

The service today was the worst and your Integrity went right down the drain with me today..........Who sends all of their mechanics home because the internet is down?????? Plus, why would you tell a customer on the phone that you could get them right in for an oil change and to come right in?????? I was on McDowell Road and only two miles away - The speed limit on McDowell Road is 45 MPH....... I was there within six minutes!!!!!!!! and, when I arrived there was only one other customer in the show room, and then you tell me that it will be several hours for an oil change.......Really?!?!?!?!Not being honest with customers, or giving customers deceptive information is not good for business....... YOU KNEW THE COMPUTER SYSTEM WAS DOWN BECAUSE YOU TOLD ME THAT WHEN YOU ANSWERED THE CALL ON YOUR PERSONAL CELL PHONE, But still said that you would get me right in, even though it was NOT TRUTHFUL.........PLUS, Blocking off your driveway with employee vehicles, causing customers to back out onto McDowell Road is not very sensible and a good way to get someone killed........Just so you know, I did reply... But you did not follow-up...

This particular Big O Tire is terrible. In October of 2016 I bought 6 brand new tires as well as had an oil change and an alignment. Total over $1500 dollars. This 1st visit was okay but when I went back in April of 2018 because the tire was low, that visit was awful. They only looked at the one tire and told me I needed another alignment and I agreed. One of the assistant managers was inappropriate with me and to add insult said that if I tipped his guys they fix flats for free (when I have the warrantee for flats and other services). Due to the terrible service I called the Big O store on 7th St and Camelback and spoke to Kevin. The next day I took my vehicle to Kevin and they looked at all the tires and then suggested yet another alignment because of inside ware on 2 of the tires. I learned that an alignment was never done and that I needed the ball bearings, and other front end issues fixed before an alignment could be done. Not only was I grateful to Kevin and his team but I would Never Ever recommend the store on McDowell again.

On vacation had a leak in tire talked me Into 4 new ones. Told me an hour. I left and he didn’t have tires in stock but didn’t tell me. Two hours later leaving with just a repaired tire. Waited 2 hours.

I went to the competitor to have a flat fixed- they tried to tell me that it is unrepareable and i needed 2 new tires. that was a lie. i left thank goodness and came to big o. not only was my tire fixed, but it was done free of charge. i will be doing business with big o from now on.

Called at 830am to make sure they had my tires in stock, was told 2 needed to be brought from another store and to bring my truck in for a 230 appointment. After waiting from 230 till 5pm I asked why my truck had not even been touched. The response was that Im next to be worked on... After 2 and a half hours? Really? Thats when I asked for my keys back. Never seen a more disorganized shop as this one. Sorry Adam and John, ill take my hard earned $ to another shop and it WONT be Big O.

We have a fleet of vehicles that we maintain and Big O is more than up to the task. They get us in and out quickly for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

I really do need to find another company to buy my next set of tires from. I continue to have negative experiences no matter which one I go to. I arrived at this location 20 minutes before it opened but the door was open. The gentleman at the counter told me that they were not open yet but I was welcome to wait inside until they open at 7:45. No problem, I was the first one there so I thought I would be in and out of there quickly for a tire rotation and balance. It took an hour and 15 minutes from the time they actually opened. That wasnt the worst part. After inconveniencing the guy by asking for some paperwork (I like to keep track of my service records), I went out to my car only to find grease marks on the side of my car in 3 different places. Then when I started my car, the A/C was running full blast. I ALWAYS turn my A/C off before I turn off my car and this morning I had had it turned to the lowest setting but had turned it off a few miles BEFORE I got there. Also, while my car was in the bay, I witnessed the service man resting his clipboard on my car while he filled out the paperwork. Last year I had gone to the Gilbert location on Baseline for a tire rotation and balance. After completing the requested service, he hands me a list of recommended services totaling $500+. I declined the additional services and told him I already had an appointment with my regular mechanic (my mechanic later told me that none of those services were needed at this time). Upon leaving, I noticed a red scratch on the side of my car. Apparently they got a little too close to the red tool box. I didnt bother to accuse them because I knew I wouldnt be able to prove it. I am pretty sure that is where it happened because I notice just about every little thing on my car that is not white. I am the one who parks at the end of parking lots to avoid door dings. Anyway, I do not mean to be knit picky about things but it is a matter of RESPECT for other peoples property and I do not feel that Big O takes pride in keeping care of their customers vehicles. I am not sure where I am going to buy my next set of tires but I do know that it will not be from Big O.

Great service I got there my vehicle was taken in quickly they said about one and a half hours. They got everything completed in about one hour and the service lights have stayed out and I am happy

I had new wheels swapped with the wheels I currently had on the car, just used the same tires. They told me it would be about 3-4 hours. Seemed somewhat long but I was going to be at work so I didn’t care too much. It wasn’t until the 5th hour that I called them only to find out it would be another 1-2 hours more. After the two hours, I decided to show up at the shop to see if it was done. My car was just sitting there, done, for who knows how long. I got what I wanted so I didn’t make a big deal out of it.Now, 2 weeks later, I’m hearing a weird noise coming from the tires and decided to check it out. The fact that I could take off some of the lugs BY HAND should keep you far from this place. The weird noise is from my brakes not being put back together as they should be. What were they doing messing with my brakes? Never going back here again, that’s for sure.

Took a wheel in to have a tire mounted, wheel was brand new in box, opened and inspected by me to make sure there was no damage in shipping. Wheel was perfect. they scratched the lip of the wheel and are refuse to do anything about it. Told me its not their problem. be for warned, lots of reviews on here about this kind of business practice I just wish I would have looked first.

This place is hit or miss, sometimes they take advantage and try to price gauge (manager) regular employees seem fair and honest. Owner is honest and does his best but is rarely around. Ive been going there for 10 years on and off but prefer other franchises to this one specifically because of the manager.

I went here for a new set of tires, and they tried convincing me to pay for repairs that werent needed. They waited until after putting on new tires to tell me that my tie rods were ceased-up, and they needed to be replaced for an alignment. They wanted to start cutting off the tie rods immediately. FYI, you can determine the condition of tie rods before ever taking off a tire. This approach bordered on scare tactics to convince me to replace all of my tie rods (over $500). I took my car to a reliable mechanic, who said my tie rods were not ceased-up. He cleaned my tie rods, put anti-lock on them, and gave me an alignment for significantly less than what Big O quoted.I wouldnt recommend this place for anything other than a good deal on tires.

They are all very nice and understanding and they are great mechanics.
