Called over the phone said I can come in as long as I bring my car before closing. Then I call a little later and say that they can’t and he was rude over the phone.

I stopped for gas and asked for 10 gallons of unleaded. The attendant repeated 10 gallons. I heard him tell another employee 10 gallons. I gave him my credit card and he brought the receipt folded up around the card and I took off. Later, as I was recording my miles, I looked at the receipt. He pumped 13.53 gallons. I could understand if it was a little over 10 gallons, but almost 14? This equated to nearly an extra $10 on my credit card. That may not seem like a lot of money to most people, but I work hard for my tips. If you are going to squeeze ten bucks out of me for gas, that does not instill confidence in me that you wouldn’t pad the bill for repairs. Just thought the owner would like to know that you lost a future customer.

Terrible, I call to make an appointment and they don’t take them but some we are slow come on in now. I drive there from Chandler. There is one mechanic and he has a car in the bay. Okay I will wait. More than an hour later that car is done and pulled out the bay. I wait 15 more minutes and my car is still not in the bay. I go ask what’s up? The response is that it will be at least another hour the mechanic is at lunch! Seriously! You tell me come in we aren’t busy and if I would have stayed it would have taken 4 hours to get an oil change on a slow day! Mark Salem this shop is impacting your reputation!

Bridwell did an excellent job on my road trip inspection. We just got back from Lake Havasu and my high mileage car had no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend getting the road trip inspection done before any long road trip!

I am giving this place 5 stars and for a good reason. The environment, the employees, and the old school full service gas station really brought me back to when companies really took the extra effort to take care of their customers. My family and I were out there in Arizona from Southern California on a vacation for spring training. We were going to back to back baseball games and had very little time to deal with a car problem. Jack and the family that owns this place really saved our vacation by not only repairing our car in a timely fashion but they even gave me a minivan that would accommodate my 6 member family so that we can go on and see our baseball games for free. They were honest, hard working, very experienced and knowledgeable mechanics and downright friendly good Americans. By the time I left that place I not only felt like I got a fair shake but I felt like I made several new friends. My daily driver had a/c and overheating issues. They got it in on a Monday morning with no prior scheduling, had a detailed description of the issue by lunch and the job was done by mid-afternoon. Last week when I was on my way to meet and potentially adapt a rescued pup and my truck broke down...I was stuck in Scottsdale and couldnt find anyone to help me..even over the phone..I limped along having to keep stopping to let the truck cool down. I pulled into a shopping center at Scottsdale Rd. & Lincoln Dr where low and behold I found Bridwell Automotive Center!! They took such care of me. Gave me water and also my dog Felony. Turned out a connector on a hose from the radiator blew. They fixed it and checked all my fluids and replaced the coolant and water I lost and didnt charge me a thing! I was so awe struck it brought me to tears how kind they all were to Felony and I. I was then on my way and thank god no one had adapted Miss Demeanour yet. She now lives with us. There are still kind people in the world and I met quite a few last week...It brings back my faith in others..there is still hope. 💞💞💞💖💖💖

Once again, Bridwells proved to be, in my opinion, one of the BEST auto repair centers in the entire Phoenix area. When another auto repair facility said that a problem with my vehicle could not be repaired unless the entire system was replaced (at a very high cost), Bridwells discovered the specific problem and repaired it at a very reasonable cost. They got to the heart of the problem. Bridwells has proven once again to be honest and trustworthy. Been Going to Bridwell for years now up until 6 weeks ago when I noticed damage to my rims when before hand their was no damage. So I had been going back for sometime since forgot about it but a week ago I noticed the night crew was very unpleasent to deal with. They were using rude vulgar language about one of the female customers and she didnt even notice. So since then I have not returned and now take all of my repairs to granite reef and mcdonald their at that shop. Be wise where you go.
