After finally convincing myself to leave a review, I been going 5+ years as a loyal customer. Tried other barbers here and there through out the time (San Antonio to New Braunfels) and none of them made me feel the way I feel when I get done getting a fresh cut here. Your cut will enhance your confidence to that next level, making you feeling great about yourself. Highly recommended is an understatement.
Nami gets my hair on point, EVERYTIME.
The owner is extremely rude! She cuts hair well but the experience is not pleasant. Not sure why the owner is in the service field if she appears to be bothered by people.
Nami is the best! Cuts hair awesome and is very clean with everything going on.
I give 1 star because I can’t give 0, not professional service, very bad attitude, I never be there again!
Nami does a really good job IMO. Unless you’re going during non-peak hours (like tue-wed, between 11-2) you probably want to make an appointment, otherwise you can be left waiting for over an hour. I never go without an appointment anymore. I usually get a .5 fade with 1” length on top and she does a very good and takes her time blending everything in. I’ve gone to almost every barber shop in SA that charges $40-60 a cut and have gotten way worse cuts at those places before, she’s easily on par with most of those if not better.
Nami does a great job!Edit: hit or missNami butchered my hair terribly today. My advice?Find someone consist not someone willing to rush through your haircut.
Always great service and the hair cuts are on point every time
Nami is great, she will study your hair and tell you if what you want will work or how to make it work. The only other barber I seen seems to do a good job as well and he is very personable. Only issue I had was the sign in sheet, when theres a wait and you sign in, they dont normally look at the sheet, just yell next and youll have to decide if you were waiting before the other people. Not knowing if those who walked in after me had signed in and stepped out only to come back when it was closer to their time, I let two others go ahead of me and waited 1 hour for a haircut.
Wanted barber closer to home. Wife suggested this place. Entered to see three barbers with one lounging back in chair. No welcome, smile or acknowledgement of any kind. I look at board of prices and back to the barbers. The lounger began to rise with a great-now-I-gotta-get-up look. I left. Wont be back.
Its a good place for a haircut if you can wait but they are a bad business. The owner locks people out if theres too many people (who locks out customers like that?) And they never have consistent hours with always closing early on regular business hours.
My 18 yr old son went in and asked for a trim. The barber chopped it so bad that it looks like he has a receding hairline and he does not have one. The cut is so bad he cant do anything with the front. Hed been there once before, but had the manager/owner who is a decent barber, but still they dont seem to understand the concept of a trim. My son is embarrassed by the cut. Looks like something youd give a 10 yr old, but even a 10 yr old wouldnt want this hack job. My other goes for a buzz. Guess thats all they know. Neither of my sons will return there.
Nami was able to give me a great haircut. Pleasantly surprised as my type of haircuts are from the young generation mainly from the urban barbers... I can put her up against the best of them.
I went in for a hair cut and beard trim, so one of the barbers called me to her chair and I told her how I wanted my hair cut and she proceeded. After she was done she was almost pushing me out of the chair when I asked about the beard trim, she gave me the most inconvenienced look. She asked how I wanted it trimmed and I told her I wanted to keep the length and that I just wanted it cleaned up. She gave me a kind of confused look and said ok, so I sat back and relaxed and closed my eyes and let her do her thing, 2 minutes later she says shes done and hands me a mirror and I see the butchery she had done. My beard went from 4inches to 1 1/2 inch. And it wasnt even straight or even, I had to come home and straighten it out myself. If you dont know how to trim beards dont advertise that you do. I will never go back there again
Nami the owner has been my barber for 9 months nowHer haircuts are fast clean and on point$18.00 for a nice cut is a great price plus the tip I always give her makes it $27.00I drive 30 minutes everytime just to cut my hair with her.Clean place, Fancy placeFast and out the door, nami you rockAnd thanks for the awesome cut and beard trim as alwaysCheers ......
Deceptive pricing. I got a lineup they rudely charged me for a full cut. Go somewhere else!
Expert stylists, competitive pricing. They were able to cut my hair exactly the way I wanted. This is my go-to place now.
Great place for a hair cut
My fiancé gets his hair cut here often. He really likes going there because they cut his hair exactly how he wants it. Especially the lady that cuts it. Shes fast and gets you in and out in no time. Sometimes theres small waits but not too bad because they have a tv to distract you.
These guys are awesome and super nice
Bad service rude barbers and even worse owner. Do not give this business your time or money. Went on a day before a holiday and the barber treated us like we were keeping him from going home instead of a paying customer. The barber messed up so we went back for the owner to correct, but she would not correct it until she serviced all of her paying customers. After asking for a refund instead of waiting almost 2 hours to have her correct it she said she would not give a refund as the other barber is an independent barber. As the shop owner, she should honor quality service. Stay away from this shop. Nami is not a good business owner..
Nami does a great job! Highly recommend getting your hair cut here.
Wasnt open on time.waited 45 min an left.came back an was open with 2 ahead of me. No big deal right? Got in chair an a Asian dude came in an owner made me get up an gave my turn to Asian dude. Pissed me off. Wont go back
The absolute worst. I gave them a second chance after waiting 2 hours the first time (thinking maybe the other barbers called in or something).. today I waited an hour while ONE lady (Tami) cut hair. Then when it was our turn, another lady who walked in WAY after us was serviced first because she had signed in earlier. Why not let your customers know theres more than 3 people before you OR that only ONE person works there.. such a waste of TIME!
Love this place home boy gets my endgebup perfect every time definitely a good place to go!
Went in for a beard trim and I was the second person in line and another guy comes in and gets called ahead of me and no he didn’t have an appointment I told the barber to leave the length of my beard and to just cut the wild hairs and line it up she ended up cutting 2 inches off and on top of that she cut it uneven then I told her to do a low fade leave the top long and thin out the top she ended up doing a medium/high fade and didn’t do anything for the top I highly suggest not going here
Great service, friendly staff, wait is usually not bad at all. And great prices.
Great haircuts, but i stopped going due to the long wait and being charged extra for a specialty cut even though its the same one i always get. They need to hire more barbers usually just one lady working all the time
Nice and clean shop, but worst haircut my son ever has received. Barber did exact opposite of what I asked him to do, and didn’t even do a good job on his “rogue” style.
The owner is a great barber, has a lot of patience.
Nice place great haircut
Love this place!
The lady who works here is so rude and she has an ugly ugly attitude .
Always friendly, great cutz.
Nami is the goddess of haircuts
