I really enjoyed my stay here. The people at the office are always nice and helpful. The apartment was nice too great prices.
I love the staff so friendly and very helpful!! Always willing to lend a helping hand. I wish all landlords were like this !!
UNSAFE-DO NOT MOVE HERE ! I have attached pictures below of my grandmothers building. The holes have been in the walls since November. The stairs have been torn for about the same time. The lightbulb has been out for the last week or so making it dangerous because the neighborhood is already very shady. People are constantly loitering in and outside the building hallways all times of night . Any time complaints are brought to the office they give you the run around or blatantly LIE to you and tell you that they are working on the issues the maintenance men are going to be coming around to it. Management and staff are unprofessional, unresponsive, and ultimately of completely no use. Not to mention there are talks of another rate increase which is a huge insult for a property this old and outdated. DO NOT MOVE HERE SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.
We just moved here and they already treat us better then anywhere we have stayed at in Brunswick.. Great place to live and such wonderful people work here to keep their residents happy..they made our move here so great and easy
Office staff not wearing masks. I stopped here to pick up mail for a resident and there is a sign on the office door saying wear a mask, but not one of the three people in the office put one on while I was inside. Rude.
They deserve 0 stars. We have maintenance requests open for more than a month with no response. Apartments have bug problems and it’s a fight to get pest control to come out and spray chemicals that don’t work. HUGE mold problem.. we even had mushrooms grow from the ceiling at one point. Property manager says just clean it with bleach. They tow any cars they feel like with NO notice. The only explanation we were given was “we walk the property and if cars look like they might be broken and we don’t see a lot of activity then we tow them”. The corporate company talks a good game but the office management doesn’t back it up. The office managers almost always come with bad attitudes. The answers vary from every person that works here.
Ms. Baker is a great manager for Timberland Apartments. She is an asset to the community because of her being well diverse. This is exactly what this community needed all along. Recently since this review things have taken a horrible turn with the new management team. Sorry Ms. Baker has left. Cant even began to explain the problems I currently have
This place is getting better. Sunny doesnt awesome job helping me out every single time Im in the office. One thing that can make this place better is easier access for all the residents that are handicap.
For one I want to say I love the new property managers and maintenance. Okay I needed a rush apartment and unlike other apartment complex these ladies Treasure and Sunny made it their business to help me out of a tough situation. Not only is my apartment amazing they went in and fix ever problem . There was things that didnt bother me at all but Sunny and treasure took care it anyways. Not only that I had to keep changing my move in date due to working two jobs and school its so hard to get to the office before they close but not once did they complain they change my lease at least 6xs without any problems. I followed these ladies from Windsor arms because they really do love us (residents) and do whatever to compromise with you help you everything. They are very understanding and know that life hit sometimes and know that things come up . Im Soo happy with my place the company EVERYTHING
I used to live in these apartments Back in 1980 when I as a child. I moved out and then came Back in 1993 when I had my kids and the apartments were not in the worst condition at that time. Keep in mind these apartments are over 40 years old. I have personally seen the conditions of these apartments slowly deteriorate as I still live nearby. If I still lived here I would recommend a county agency come out to evaluate them for health hazards and safety concerns. The responses from the property owners or property managers are ridiculous. They seem to have the same generic responses, are they even listening. Although I am no longer a resident, I felt compelled to offer my unsolicited opinion regarding my living experience there many years ago. I would absolutely heed ALL the warnings of these reviews and I recommend finding residence elsewhere if you have any standard of living at all.
Timberland apartments are very nice apartments, i just recently moved in a couple of weeks ago. and i loved that my apartment is sized enough for just me, i have an upgraded apartment. ms. latasha told me i could paint my wall a color, so when i moved in i did a red color. the staff is very sweet and helpful.
This place is horrible ...Unprofessional at its finest always the price is ridiculous for some project type apartments, it smell like weed, dirty trash and I cannot believe the price... I do not recommend this place at all.i wish I could give it 0 stars
Timberland has changed a lot lately but, all for the better. I am very happy here and enjoy the management staff in place. Nice place to live
It is a nice neighborhood. The residents here helped me park my U-Haul truck in a better spot to unload everything. Dajia was really kind and warm, Sunny was too.
This place is great customer service wise. Sunny and Jas are very nice, helpful, and professional. They make an effort to remember your name. The problem I have with the property is the smell that lingers in the hallways. Sometimes it smells like unwashed dogs and other times its a strong pasta smell. The sewage system is terrible. The sinks, toilets and tubs back up faithfully every 2 months. Also, the lady who monitors the payments at the sister property always tries to double charge as if the first payment was never paid. I have receipts ya know. 🙄
The office staff is very unprofessional. Come and see for yourself. The manager always look disappointed and have an imaginary answer when you ask a simple question. The proof is in the pudding just come see for yourself. Pest control is awful. Most the tenants have roach problems. On any given day walk through any apartment building somebody is smoking weed. Come see for yourself.
Some of the other comments here say the office staff is rude but what they really mean is the property manager is something else. My advice do your research theres a reason this property has a 1.8 star rating. But also try researching Monument Management a company based out of Florida. I think youll find the reason for such low ratings goes a little deeper then the surface. Youll see that this company owns different properties in different states but the residents all sing the same tune. The entire company has a very low rating. It starts at the top.
A one star is too good for this place. The administrative staff are the most disorganized people you can ever think of. They dont know how to perform their responsibilities coupled with their rude attitudes. If you are not careful, they will charge you double for something youve already paid for.The hallway has a pungent smell.Maintenance is almost nonexistent, no matter how many orders you place.I had to call their management office in Florida before I could get my refund check. Of course, that was also a hassle.I have lived in two countries and this is by far the worse apartment complex I had ever lived in.
Cant even take care of their own bills in a timely manner. Funny how they wish to tell their vendors to have better customer service when trying to collect on past due invoices, however by the reviews on here I would say their own customer service is VERY LACKING.
My first advice is dont move here. If you do move here follow the following advice. when they do the move in inspection get your camera and record everything. Go to the Ac vent where the air filter is. Unlatch the metal piece and remove the filter. Make sure you have a flashlight and look inside the space where the air filter was. 2 of the apartments where I lived this space was hideous one leaked water and the other had a tube that went underground and you could see the dirt from the ground under the apartment. This apartment does not want to fix anything. The complex is very old and does not get the maintenance it needs. Also if you come to any agreement about anything with this apartment get it from the manager in writing because they will not keep their word. They refused to give me my deposit back and said I owed money because they would not keep their word. I am 30 years old. I didnt know what a bed bug looked like until I lived at this place. I believe they had a crawlspace from another apartment in the building. It all boils down to the management there that they are not professional honest or have a desire to provide customer service to their tenants. They tried to sabotage me from moving out. When I applied at other places to live they would not return the fax requesting info and when they did they would lie to try and keep me from leaving. This is one of the worst decisions I ever made moving here. Monument Management company Look up their reviews too. They will not help you. Also they have constant pipe breaks and water flowing out into the parking lot. This caused my water bill to be hundreds of dollars. I had to go to the water department and get them to re evaluate my bill which takes weeks and they still expect you to pay while they do that. When they do give you a new bill they dont take all of the charge off I still was charged over 100 dollars when My water bill averaged 45. please heed my warning and the warnings of others beware.
The staff is very rude. Maintenance is horrible. I had to ask numerous of times for my refrigerator to be replaced because it was leaking. There was mildew all over the house when I first moved in. The floors are very soft and squeaky it feels like you are soaking into the ground. When I fist moved in water would leak through the window when it rained heavy. They have no drop box making it very difficult to pay rent on time if you work a 9-5 job. I would not recommend these apartments to NO ONE
Ive been here since 2013 and everything was great. 2015 they changed management and its been horrible ever since. The people in the office or rude make mistakes all the time and has an issue when you have an issue. Not worth living there at all.
My husband and I have lived at this apartment complex since 2013 when they were still owned by Kole Management. While there was crime when Kole Management owned the complex (eg. dumpster fires, someone attempted to break into our car) and also issues with other tenants, there was never a problem with the office staff. Sue and Jewel were personable, approachable, and I could talk to them and ask them for anything without incident. Fast forward to 2014 under Monument Management, and for the first time ever I am having issues with late rent. Not that I am paying rent late, but the office staff saying that I am. After talking to the leasing manager about this issue, in what was a less than pleasant exchange, she implied that the issue was that my checks had my old address on them (even though I was writing my apartment number in the memo). I accepted that, until my high school classmate told me they have also been sending her late notices even though she pays rent online...That was a few months ago, and since then Ive tried to make my interactions with the office personnel, especially the manager, scarce. During an encounter with the office manager, I told her that under the old management there was more a family environment, to which she responded that the family environment is what had this place a mess But 2 years after Kole Management is gone from the complex were still having the same issues, problems with other tenants, crime (drugs, shootings), and on top of that the issues with the office staff.Other issues weve experienced under this management include a $40 rent increase upon lease renewal, ineffective pest control (no matter how often they come and how much you clean, theres still roaches), and the overall feeling of walking on eggshells in a place thats supposed to be YOUR home.Where I love the apartment itself, very spacious and I love the layout, it doesnt make up for the billions of issues we have had here. The one thing that could combat all these issues and make them bearable would be an approachable, warm office staff which unfortunately Timberland lacks!
This place is a slum. They stopped paying for anything, and you have to foot the bill for anything that goes wrong, even if it isnt your fault. You have to pay for pest control now, when it barely did anything to begin with. They fired the old maintenance workers who actually took care of things and hired a company of people who spend their time hiding to avoid doing any work. This place is trash. Dont come here.
Worst possible place I could have moved to in savannah I just moved here a year ago and decided to get an appartment out here the head manager is the most disrespectful unprofessional property manager I have even encountered in my entire life if you guys dont get a new youll lose alot of business and after talking with my neighbors I know I am not alone on that statement. The pool hardly opens the floors squeak the tub has mold they dont come fix anything it seems like everything you dont want in anew appartment is right here at timberland sad but true do not rent here waste of time and money (not exaggerating)
Bad place to live. Poor maintenance and poor management and bed bugs everywhere and bad plumbing. I hope health dept. Sees this and reach out for an inspection.
They are so unprofessional, i need to talk to someone outsIde the office IMMEDIATELY
It was small and cheap, MOLD EVERYWHERE and the new staff that they have now is HORRIBLE! I always came home to spiders, lizards, just unwelcomed pest in my apartment. This place needs to be inspected because I am sure it is breaking all type of codes. Its not worth the rent they are charging for it.
Management is horrible I stayed here for 2 years and not only did my rent increase each year but there was always a problem!!
Booooooooool
